The overall message was very clear: Astar wants to evolve, simplify its structure, improve the user experience, and most importantly build more sustainable mechanisms and products for the long term. This is no longer just about infrastructure. It is about an ecosystem that wants to focus on quality, real utility, and long-term value for the $ASTR token and the wider community.

Tokenomics 3.0: Astar’s new economic framework

One of the central topics of the call was, naturally, Tokenomics 3.0, which is now live and was presented as the result of a long community-driven process that began in May 2025. During the call, it was emphasized several times that this evolution was not born from a unilateral decision, but from a process built with contributions from the community, the Foundation, and the ecosystem’s governance bodies.

Among the most important changes is the move to a maximum supply fixed at 10 billion $ASTR. This was described as a real hard cap, not just an indicative threshold. At the same time, it was also noted that through future burn initiatives and possible developments related to Burndrop, the effective supply could end up being even lower.

Another key change is the reduction of maximum inflation from 7% to 5.5%. It was also clarified that this figure represents the theoretical upper ceiling, while current real inflation is said to be around 3%. This matters because it helps correct superficial interpretations of the numbers and shows that the new economic structure is designed to be far more disciplined and sustainable than before.

On top of that, annual emissions are being reduced by around 129-130 million $ASTR, while 80% of gas fees continue to be permanently burned. In short, Tokenomics 3.0 is intended to push Astar toward a more structured, less inflationary model that is better aligned with protecting value over time.

A collective execution, not a top-down decision

One of the strongest ideas that emerged during the call was the concept of “collective execution.” Astar clearly wanted to frame Tokenomics 3.0 not as a reform imposed from above, but as the outcome of a shared process of listening, discussion, and refinement.

The Foundation certainly played an important role in starting the conversation and shaping the initial draft, but the final result was described as the product of months of dialogue involving contributors, councils, community members, stakers, and other ecosystem participants. It was also explained that Astar’s structure itself, thanks to governance-adjustable parameters, allows tokenomics to evolve in a flexible way over time.

This matters not only from a communication standpoint, but also from a broader governance perspective. Astar wants to present itself as a network where governance is not just symbolic, but a real mechanism capable of shaping major decisions.

dApp Staking: from 72 projects down to 16, with a focus on quality and sustainability

Another fundamental section of the call focused on the major overhaul of dApp Staking, one of the core mechanisms of the Astar ecosystem. Here, the change was significant and direct.

The new model reduces the number of eligible projects from 72 to 16, with the stated goal of moving away from quantity and toward quality. According to the call, the previous system suffered from several issues: rewards were too diluted, too many inactive or low-value projects remained in the system, the experience was overly complex for users, and incentives were not concentrated enough on the most strategic builders.

Under the new model, the tiers are reduced to 2:

• Tier 2 with 6 slots

• Tier 3 with 10 slots

The bonus rewards mechanism is also being removed, as it was considered too complex and inefficient from a user experience perspective. The staking cycle is also changing significantly, moving to a yearly structure, designed to make participation easier and less fragmented.

The message here is simple: less dispersion, less noise, more selection, and a stronger ability to direct rewards and attention toward projects that are considered genuinely valuable to the ecosystem.

A stricter selection process and a more active role for the ACC

Connected to the new dApp Staking model is the strengthened role of the Astar Community Council (ACC), which was presented as one of the main actors responsible for ongoing project monitoring.

This is not simply about picking 16 names and leaving them untouched. During the call, it was explained that the ACC will take a more active role in checking whether selected projects remain aligned with the required standards, stay active, continue delivering value to the ecosystem, and maintain a meaningful and useful presence for the community.

That means the new dApp Staking is not only more selective, but also more curated, with a higher degree of oversight and review compared to the past. Astar wants to avoid situations where projects remain in the system without continuing to provide meaningful value.

Rewards remain competitive, but with less pressure on the token

The call also stressed that the new model is not meant to remove the attractiveness of staking. On the contrary, it was stated that rewards remain competitive, with an APR around 10% for users participating in dApp Staking.

The difference compared to the past is that the system is now trying to find a more sustainable balance. Rewards may be somewhat less aggressive in absolute terms, but they are much more consistent with a framework aimed at reducing inflationary pressure and better protecting the value of $ASTR over the medium and long term.

The new Astar Portal: simpler, cleaner, and more useful

Another major topic of the call was the redesign of the Astar Portal, which serves as the main access point for staking, asset management, governance, and other key ecosystem functions.

The new Portal was presented as a cleaner, simpler platform with a refreshed visual identity. The main sections mentioned were Assets, Stake, Bridge, Analytics, Governance, and News, with some updates already live and further improvements expected over the coming weeks.

The most significant change, however, relates to the wallet experience. Michi explained that one of the long-standing pain points for many users, especially newcomers, has been the distinction between EVM-side and Substrate-side wallets and addresses. Concepts like H160, SS58, and transfers between different address formats have often caused confusion.

The new Portal is designed to reduce that friction. Users will be able to connect EVM wallets and Substrate wallets more clearly, use them together, and handle actions that previously required more complicated steps or technical documentation. The goal is to make the experience far more guided and intuitive, both for users staking and for those moving assets or interacting with centralized exchanges.

It was also mentioned that there is still access to the legacy portal for those who may need it during the transition period.

“16 Lights Into Build”: the new campaign to showcase Astar’s builders

To support this new dApp Staking phase, Astar will also launch a campaign called “16 Lights Into Build,” designed to highlight the 16 selected projects and help the community better understand them.

The idea is simple but important: over the coming weeks, the selected projects will be showcased one by one, explaining what they do, what value they bring to the ecosystem, and why they may be an interesting choice for users who want to stake their $ASTR.

This campaign serves a double purpose. On one side, it gives visibility to the selected builders. On the other, it has a strong educational value, helping users better understand the new staking system and make more informed decisions. In a moment of major change, guiding the community with clear informational content is both important and necessary.

Governance: increasingly central to the Astar model

The call once again reinforced that governance remains one of the core pillars of Astar’s structure. All major recent decisions, including the updates to tokenomics and staking, have gone through formal governance processes.

One particularly useful point that was highlighted is that users can use their $ASTR both for dApp Staking and for governance voting at the same time, without having to unstake in order to participate in referenda. This is important because it lowers both the psychological and practical barriers to participation.

The Foundation also suggested that governance will increasingly be used in a concrete way, including to evaluate whether certain funded tools or services still make sense for the community or not. In that way, governance becomes not only a way to approve major reforms, but also a mechanism for continuously assessing whether real value is being delivered across the ecosystem.

Toward stronger alignment through $ASTR-based compensation

Among the additional points mentioned during the call was the path toward a possible shift from USD-based compensation to $ASTR-based compensation for contributors and ecosystem participants.

This is interesting because it reflects a desire to align internal incentives more closely with the token itself. In other words, contributors would be rewarded in a way that is more directly connected to the growth, sustainability, and performance of Astar.

This strengthens the idea of a more cohesive community, one that is increasingly aligned with the network’s long-term interests.

AstarFi and Astar Stack: Astar’s new product-first direction

The final part of the call introduced one of the most interesting and potentially strategic topics: AstarFi and the broader vision known as Astar Stack.

AstarFi was presented as a kind of Web3 neobank or on-chain finance hub, designed to help users manage their money, assets, and financial planning directly on-chain. The features described, still at an early stage, include tools for saving, earn products, wealth management, and in the future potentially even integrations with real-world spending and payment solutions.

Beyond the individual features, the most important point is the strategic direction this initiative represents. Martin was very direct: in his view, the simple model of a general-purpose blockchain is no longer enough. Astar wants to move toward a product-first approach, building real tools that people actually use and that create tangible value for the ecosystem.

This may be the most significant part of the vision presented during the call. It is not just about optimizing staking and tokenomics anymore, but about redefining Astar’s role in the Web3 landscape, shifting from being just a chain to becoming an ecosystem of usable products.

Ethereum

Ethereum resta un ambiente fondamentale per:

• acquisizione utenti per prodotti Astar Stack

• accesso a liquidità profonda

• compatibilità con protocolli DeFi “mainstream” (es. vault e strategie)

In pratica, Ethereum può diventare una porta d’ingresso: intercetta utenti che magari non conoscono ancora Astar Network, e può trasformarsi in un canale di onboarding verso l’ecosistema Astar.

Base (in esplorazione)

Base resta interessante per distribuzione e accesso utenti. È emersa però una novità: Base sta evolvendo il proprio stack, e questo potrebbe ridurre il “percorso diretto” basato su interoperabilità Superchain tra reti OP Stack.

Come ha chiarito Gaius, la logica strategica su Base resta valida, cambia il percorso tecnico per collegare Astar a Base. In pratica, invece di contare solo su interop Superchain (es. Soneium → Base), andrebbero valutate alternative già disponibili, ad esempio Chainlink CCIP (dove $ASTR è già presente), la route canonica via Ethereum L1 → Base, e altre soluzioni di interoperabilità come opzioni aggiuntive. Non è una porta che si chiude, ma un tema da monitorare e valutare quando lo scope “Base” sarà definito.

Perché un modello multi-chain?

L’approccio multi-chain riflette una strategia product-led:

• Astar costruisce prodotti che generano uso onchain

• l’uso avviene dove ci sono già gli utenti

• restare su una sola chain limiterebbe reach e user acquisition

Il modello multi-chain permette di:

• deployare prodotti dove l’adozione è più probabile (intrattenimento su Soneium, DeFi su Polkadot, strategie su Ethereum)

• sfruttare liquidità e infrastrutture ottimizzate per specifici use case

• mantenere $ASTR come layer economico di coordinamento, anche se l’attività avviene su reti diverse

Questo non diluisce il ruolo di Astar Network: governance, decisioni di lungo periodo, coordinamento economico, treasury e dApp Staking restano ancorati ad Astar Network e a $ASTR. Le operazioni multi-chain estendono la portata del Collective preservando l’integrità del core.

I problemi attuali che la proposta vuole risolvere

La Foundation identifica quattro punti principali.

1) Percezione di inflazione troppo alta

Un tetto massimo del 7% annuo viene percepito come un “soffitto” che può creare pressione di vendita costante, anche se l’inflazione reale può essere più bassa.

2) Free-rider e dispersione delle ricompense

Con circa 69 progetti in dApp Staking, anche progetti poco attivi possono ricevere una parte del reward pool. Questo viene visto come una perdita di valore e un indebolimento degli incentivi per chi costruisce davvero.

3) Esperienza utente complessa

L’attuale struttura con periodi (Voting + Build & Earn), bonus e meccaniche di ri-staking e ri-voto rende tutto più macchinoso del necessario. Tra tiering, periodi e numero elevato di progetti, si genera confusione e attrito.

4) APR instabile

Ricompense fisse alte e componente dinamica più bassa hanno contribuito a instabilità dell’APR e a pressione inflazionistica.

Cosa cambia: i punti chiave

1) Parametri di inflazione: tetto massimo più basso e stop ai bonus

La modifica più importante è il passaggio da 7% a 5,5% come inflazione massima annua.

In parallelo:

• bonus eliminati (bonus allocation al 0%)

• quella quota viene spostata su base rewards e adjustable rewards per gli staker

In più si attiva il meccanismo di “decay” (riduzione emissioni nel tempo) con un decadimento per blocco dello 0,000008%, cioè l’elemento centrale del modello “Tokenomics 3.0” che punta a far convergere le emissioni verso un limite massimo (asintotico).

Nota importante della proposta: questi numeri rappresentano il tetto massimo. L’inflazione reale attuale viene indicata come circa 2,77%. Ridurre il tetto massimo dovrebbe spingere l’inflazione reale ancora più giù.

2) Impatto sulle emissioni: meno $ASTR emessi ogni anno

Con una supply attuale indicata di 8.622.347.668 $ASTR, la proposta confronta due scenari.

Modello attuale (7% max): circa 603,6M $ASTR come cap annuo
Nuovo modello (5,5% max): circa 474,2M $ASTR come cap annuo

Risultato: circa 129,3M $ASTR in meno all’anno, cioè -21,4% del soffitto di emissione.

E non finisce qui: il “decay factor” riduce ulteriormente le emissioni nel tempo. La proposta cita un esempio: con un rapporto di staking ideale al 50%, le emissioni scenderebbero a circa 81% dopo il primo anno e 65% dopo il secondo (riduzione esponenziale per blocco).

3) Convergenza della max supply: obiettivo più “stretto”

Tokenomics 3.0 punta a una supply massima determinata dal decay. Con il nuovo tetto:

• prima: ~10,5B $ASTR

• ora: ~10B $ASTR (circa 9,9B)

In pratica, la traiettoria verso il limite massimo diventa più aggressiva.

4) Burndrop: amplificatore del modello

Burndrop viene presentato come iniziativa chiave nel 2026 e si integra direttamente con Tokenomics 3.0.

Il concetto è semplice: ogni burn riduce sia la supply attuale sia il limite massimo finale dello stesso ammontare.

Esempio della proposta:

• se la max supply converge verso ~10B $ASTR

• e vengono bruciati 2B $ASTR via Burndrop

• il nuovo “cap effettivo” diventa ~8B $ASTR

Meno inflazione massima + burn attivi = supply economics più stretti.

Nuovo dApp Staking: più semplice, più selettivo, più “meritocratico”

Qui la proposta cambia filosofia: da “onboarding ampio” a “ricompense concentrate sui top performer”.

Stop a bonus period e voting rewards

Con bonus allocation a 0%, spariscono:

• bonus mechanics

• voto e ricompense collegate al periodo bonus

• tracking e ri-staking legati ai bonus

Obiettivo: zero complicazioni inutili.

Ciclo annuale unico

Dato che l’inflazione viene ricalcolata annualmente, dApp Staking si allinea a un ciclo annuale.

In pratica:

• l’utente “staka” una volta

• mantiene la posizione fino al reset annuale

• si passa da circa 3 ri-azioni l’anno a 1 sola

Limite massimo di 16 progetti

Si passa da ~69 a 16 progetti. Questo significa:

• reward pool meno “diluito”

• allocazioni più significative per chi resta

• focus sui progetti che generano impatto reale

Requisiti di ingresso più forti

L’idoneità di un progetto richiede approvazione governance (Onchain Governance o ACC).

E in più: review regolari e possibilità di rimozione per progetti inattivi o fermi, creando pressione competitiva a consegnare risultati.

Tiering semplificato lato UI

La logica dei tier resta nel backend per calcolare le ricompense, ma l’esperienza utente viene resa più semplice e lineare.

Perché questa strada: veloce, sicura, senza riscrivere tutto

La Foundation parla esplicitamente di un approccio “parameter-based”:

• usare parametri già configurabili nel codice attuale

• evitare una riscrittura completa

• ridurre rischio di bug, breaking changes e bisogno di audit pesanti

• concentrare lo sviluppo su UI e governance execution

“Perché l’inflazione serve” e perché ~10% APY viene definito competitivo

La proposta ribadisce che l’inflazione su Astar non è “stampa generica”, ma ricompense distribuite a soggetti specifici:

• collator: produzione blocchi e sicurezza operativa

• treasury: grant e iniziative di lungo periodo

• dApp Staking: reward per builder e staker

Il decay factor è il meccanismo che fa “maturare” il sistema nel tempo, riducendo emissioni man mano che l’ecosistema cresce.

Sul fronte rendimenti, viene indicato che l’APY atteso scenderebbe:

• da circa 17,5% (oggi)

• a circa 10% (proposto)

Più basso, ma considerato più sostenibile e prevedibile, soprattutto con inflazione reale riportata come circa 2,3% nel confronto.

Nel gennaio 2022, Astar ha proseguito la propria traiettoria di crescita raccogliendo 22 milioni di dollari in un round strategico sostenuto da investitori di primo piano come Polychain Capital, GSR e Alameda Research. Più recentemente, Astar ha ottenuto sia una partnership strategica sia un investimento da Animoca Brands, un attore di spicco nel settore del gaming su blockchain.

Posizionata come porta d’accesso all’espansione Web3 del Giappone e come livello vitale all’interno dell’ecosistema Astar, Soneium adotta il token nativo di Astar, $ASTR, come asset centrale—ampliandone i casi d’uso e rafforzandone l’utilità all’interno di un framework multilayer sostenibile.

1.3. TOKENOMICS DI $ASTR

Il token nativo di Astar, $ASTR, funge da asset fondamentale dell’ecosistema Astar. È utilizzato per le commissioni di transazione, le ricompense di staking, gli incentivi ai builder, le operazioni del tesoro e il finanziamento della community. L’offerta totale iniziale di $ASTR è stata fissata a 7 miliardi di token, con la seguente distribuzione:

Dopo il lancio, Astar ha affrontato una persistente pressione inflazionistica dovuta ad alti reward per blocco, pari a 253,08 $ASTR per blocco. Tuttavia, la sfida andava oltre la mera espansione dell’offerta. In assenza di un’utilità sufficiente per il token nativo e di meccanismi per compensare la pressione di vendita strutturale, il valore di mercato di $ASTR ha continuato a diminuire. Inoltre, la mancanza di ricompense significative per utenti e sviluppatori ha messo in luce limitazioni nell’engagement dell’ecosistema e nella sua sostenibilità.

Riconoscendo questo problema, il team di Astar ha introdotto nell’agosto 2023 le “Tokenomics 2.0”, finalizzate ad alleviare la pressione inflazionistica e a sostenere la crescita a lungo termine dell’ecosistema. Al centro di questo aggiornamento c’era il passaggio da reward fissi per blocco a un modello di inflazione dinamica, in cui l’emissione delle ricompense sarebbe stata determinata in base a fattori come il rapporto di staking della rete e i livelli complessivi di partecipazione.

Sebbene questa struttura di reward dinamici sia riuscita a ridurre il tasso di inflazione annuo da 9.5% a 4.86%, alla fine ha rivelato alcune limitazioni. L’elevata quota di ricompense fisse allocate agli staker di $ASTR (BaseStakersPart: 25%) e la porzione relativamente bassa di ricompense variabili (AdjustableStakersPart: 10%) hanno portato ad APR instabili per il dApp staking e a una continua crescita dell’inflazione complessiva.

In risposta, nell’aprile 2025 il team di Astar ha avviato una revisione strutturale delle proprie tokenomics con l’obiettivo di affrontare alla radice sia l’eccessiva inflazione sia l’instabilità delle ricompense di rete. Questo articolo esamina i recenti cambiamenti alle tokenomics di $ASTR progettati per migliorare la sostenibilità a lungo termine e analizza come queste riforme si allineino alla più ampia direzione strategica di Astar.

2. UNA ROADMAP DALLA SOSTENIBILITà, PER LA SOSTENIBILITà

Fin dal primo giorno, Astar è rimasta impegnata a fornire incentivi sostenibili sia per gli utenti early che per i contributori di lungo periodo. Più recentemente, in risposta alle limitazioni del modello di inflazione dinamica introdotto in precedenza, Astar ha avviato una profonda revisione delle proprie tokenomics per migliorare la vitalità a lungo termine di $ASTR e rivitalizzare gli ecosistemi Astar e Soneium.

Questa revisione ruota attorno a tre pilastri principali: 1. Ristrutturazione del meccanismo di ricompensa per blocco, 2. Transizione a un’offerta di token fissa, e 3. Istituzione dell’Astar Finance Committee (AFC).

2.1. RISTRUTTURAZIONE DEL MECCANISMO DI RICOMPENSA PER BLOCCO

Come menzionato in precedenza, sebbene l’introduzione di tokenomics dinamiche abbia ridotto in una certa misura l’inflazione annua, lo squilibrio tra ricompense fisse elevate e ricompense dinamiche ridotte ha continuato a limitare l’efficienza e la sostenibilità degli incentivi di rete. L’obiettivo principale di questo aggiornamento è alleviare la pressione inflazionistica e aumentare gli incentivi alla partecipazione alla rete perfezionando i parametri della struttura delle ricompense di staking. I cambiamenti principali possono essere riassunti in tre punti chiave:

Riduzione delle ricompense fisse

La BaseStakersPart si riferisce alla porzione fissa di ricompense assegnate agli staker di $ASTR a ogni blocco. In precedenza impostata al 25%, questa alta quota fissa portava spesso a un aumento eccessivo dell’APR quando la partecipazione allo staking era bassa, ponendo un rischio alla stabilità della rete. Nel nuovo framework, questo parametro è stato significativamente ridotto al 10%. Il cambiamento mira a incoraggiare aspettative più realistiche sui rendimenti dello staking, a ridurre la pressione di vendita a breve termine su $ASTR e a promuovere una partecipazione più sostenibile. Aumento delle ricompense dinamiche

L’AdjustableStakersPart—la porzione variabile di ricompense determinata dalla partecipazione complessiva allo staking, dalla TVL e dall’attività di rete—funge da meccanismo chiave per stimolare il coinvolgimento degli utenti. In precedenza limitata intorno al 40%, ora è stata aumentata al 55%, creando un divario sostanziale di 45 punti percentuali tra ricompense dinamiche e fisse.

Questo aggiustamento rafforza la correlazione tra coinvolgimento degli utenti e ricompense di staking, pur essendo progettato con attenzione per non incidere sulle allocazioni di ricompense per altri partecipanti alla rete come i collator, il tesoro o i builder. Di conseguenza, la struttura rivista mira a ottimizzare la distribuzione complessiva dell’emissione di $ASTR in modo da promuovere la partecipazione degli utenti senza compromettere gli incentivi dei builder.

Introduzione di un floor di inflazione

È stato introdotto un nuovo floor minimo di inflazione del 2.5% per evitare che l’attività di rete diminuisca troppo bruscamente in caso di inflazione anormalmente bassa. Questa salvaguardia garantisce un livello minimo di ricompense per gli utenti e opera in parallelo con il meccanismo di burn delle commissioni di transazione esistente. Insieme, queste caratteristiche consentono aggiustamenti dinamici dell’inflazione in linea con l’attività di rete, assicurando un’economia del token più reattiva ed equilibrata.

La distribuzione aggiornata delle ricompense per blocco secondo il nuovo framework segue la struttura delineata sopra. Come in precedenza, gli staker di Astar continuano a ricevere fino al 78.8% dei token di nuova emissione, mentre le allocazioni di ricompense per collator, tesoro e builder rimangono invariate.

2.2. TRANSIZIONE AD UN MODELLO DI OFFERTA FISSA

A seguito della ristrutturazione del meccanismo di ricompense per blocco, Astar ha introdotto a maggio una revisione fondamentale delle tokenomics—Tokenomics 3.0—con l’obiettivo di abilitare una crescita sostenibile dell’ecosistema. Questa decisione è stata guidata da tre fattori chiave: l’aumento dell’interesse istituzionale verso progetti con stabilità di valore nel lungo termine, la necessità di un nuovo modello economico dopo la transizione di Polkadot ad Agile Coretime e il desiderio di ridurre la dipendenza da incentivi basati sull’inflazione man mano che l’ecosistema matura.

Come per la ristrutturazione delle ricompense per blocco, l’obiettivo finale di Tokenomics 3.0 è garantire la crescita sostenibile di $ASTR e dell’ecosistema Astar costruendo un modello economico autosostenibile. Le tre componenti principali di questo upgrade sono l’introduzione di un modello di offerta fissa, l’implementazione di un meccanismo di decrescita graduale delle emissioni e il mantenimento di APR stabili.

Introduzione di un modello di offerta fissa

Astar intende abbandonare l’attuale modello di inflazione dinamica a favore di una struttura di offerta fissa con un tetto massimo all’emissione di token. Assumendo un rapporto di staking ideale del 50%, l’offerta totale dovrebbe convergere intorno a circa 10,5 miliardi di $ASTR, sulla base del meccanismo di decrescita delle emissioni previsto.

Questa transizione poggia su un focus strategico volto a migliorare la scarsità del token e a stabilizzarne il valore. Nell’attuale contesto competitivo—dove molti progetti faticano a sopravvivere a causa di un’eccessiva inflazione e diluizione del token—un’offerta fissa per $ASTR potrebbe contribuire a costruire la fiducia degli investitori e ad estendere la longevità dell’ecosistema.

Istituzione di un meccanismo di decrescita graduale delle emissioni

Tokenomics 3.0 introduce una struttura di decrescita delle emissioni, per cui la quantità di $ASTR emessa per blocco diminuisce gradualmente nel tempo. Mentre il rapporto di staking ideale del 50% funge da baseline per il calcolo delle ricompense per blocco e dell’emissione totale, i livelli effettivi di emissione saranno aggiustati dinamicamente in base alla partecipazione allo staking in tempo reale.

Mantenimento di APR stabili

Come discusso nella Sezione 2.1, la rete Astar ha a lungo affrontato una sfida per cui una bassa partecipazione allo staking comportava APR eccessivamente elevati. Per affrontare questo problema, Tokenomics 3.0 propone una struttura di APR target più concreta e stabile. Concordo con queste preoccupazioni sollevate dalla community: espandere l’utilità pratica di $ASTR è essenziale, e questo dovrebbe essere un tema di discussione continuo ben prima che le Tokenomics 3.0 entrino in vigore.

2.3. AFC: IL CERVELLO DIETRO LA SOSTENIBILITà

L’Astar Finance Committee (AFC) è un organismo di nuova istituzione incaricato della gestione strategica del Tesoro della Astar DAO. Lanciato ufficialmente in aprile, gli obiettivi principali dell’AFC includono la generazione di flussi di entrate sostenibili, l’accelerazione della crescita dell’ecosistema Astar e la creazione di un modello di ritorno di valore a lungo termine per $ASTR.

Dopo aver superato il voto della community e una revisione da parte della Astar Foundation, l’AFC ha finalizzato la propria composizione l’8 maggio, selezionando cinque membri del comitato e un osservatore come annunciato qui. Il comitato include contributor chiave che hanno a lungo supportato l’ecosistema Astar, come l’Head of DeFi di Soneium e importanti contributor dell’ecosistema Astar. 3. $ASTR: evoluzione in un asset multi-layer

Il token nativo di Astar, $ASTR, sta evolvendo oltre i confini di una singola rete per diventare un asset multi-layer con un’utilità diversificata attraverso molteplici ecosistemi. In particolare, la sua integrazione con Soneium—una Layer 2 di Ethereum strettamente allineata con Astar—ha posizionato $ASTR anche come asset centrale all’interno dell’ecosistema Soneium.

3.1. UN ABILITATORE CHIAVE DELLA SICUREZZA MULTI-LAYER

In aprile, Astar ha lanciato il Fast Finality (FF) Layer in collaborazione con attori di primo piano nell’ecosistema del restaking su Ethereum—AltLayer ed EigenLayer. Il FF Layer funziona come un Autonomous Verifiable Service (AVS) costruito sul framework di restaking di EigenLayer. In questo modo, mentre Astar contribuisce alla crescita dell’ecosistema Soneium attraverso iniziative come la campagna ACS e la sicurezza condivisa basata sullo staking di $ASTR, Soneium ricambia collegando le entrate del sequencer al supporto di valore per $ASTR. Insieme, ciò crea un ciclo di crescita sostenibile e reciprocamente rinforzante tra i due ecosistemi.

3.3. ESPANDERSI OLTRE ASTAR NELL’ECOSISTEMA SONEIUM

All’inizio del 2025, Astar ha lanciato la campagna ACS (Astar Contribution Score) per rafforzare la posizione e l’influenza di $ASTR all’interno dell’ecosistema Soneium e per contribuire a rivitalizzare l’ecosistema. In particolare, Kyo Finance, un protocollo DeFi leader su Soneium, ha visto il proprio TVL salire da 6,35 milioni a 48,18 milioni nello stesso periodo, segnando una crescita superiore a 7x.

• Partecipazione degli utenti ampliata: Durante la campagna ACS, il numero di indirizzi wallet unici sulla rete Soneium ha raggiunto 3,57 milioni e il conteggio totale delle transazioni ha superato 1,47 milioni.

3.4. OLTRE SONEIUM: VERSO L’ECOSISTEMA SUPERCHAIN

La strategia di espansione multilayer di Astar si sta ora estendendo oltre Soneium per comprendere il più ampio ecosistema Optimism Superchain. La Superchain si riferisce a un collettivo di reti Layer 2 su Ethereum—come Base, Mode e Zora—che operano sotto una struttura unificata attraverso l’adozione standardizzata dell’Optimism OP Stack.

Come parte della sua Evolution Initiative, a giugno Astar ha distribuito un nuovo smart contract di $ASTR che supporta sia il Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) di Chainlink sia lo standard di token della Optimism Superchain, ERC-7802.
