I don't like to spend time posting on social media... Maybe this is just the beginning, or maybe not.

Admittedly, I have mixed feelings about social media. On one hand, it's an incredible tool for communication, information sharing, and keeping in touch with loved ones. On the other, it often feels like a time sink, with hours disappearing into scrolling, liking, and commenting.

The entire concept of "posting" is something that I've struggled with. Is it truly a form of genuine self-expression, or is it more of an attempt to curate an image for public consumption? This question has led me to be less active as a poster, despite being a frequent user of various platforms.

Perhaps my hesitance to post is simply a phase - a temporary state that will pass as I become more comfortable with the medium. Or perhaps it's indicative of a deeper discomfort with the performative nature of social media itself. Only time will tell.

For now, though, I'm comfortable with my choice. After all, social media is just one of many tools at our disposal for communication and self-expression. If it's not one that suits me, then there's no harm in exploring others. And who knows? Maybe one day, I'll find that I've developed a newfound appreciation for the art of the social media post.

....thank u, AI! LOL
