Erick Calderon is an artist working with color and light, and the founder of Art Blocks, an innovative platform for generative art on the blockchain. His works have been shown at galleries and museums, including Venus Over Manhattan, Swedish Museum Fotografiska, and collected by organizations including FlamingoDAO, and naturally, SquiggleDAO.

Deafbeef is a generative artist creating remarkable audiovisual art with nothing but a cheap laptop and a C compiler. His works are stored entirely on-chain, exploring the edges of what’s possible with NFTs and Blockchain art, while creating rich visual and musical experiences.

Deafbeef is a dynamic and fascinating artist, having worked in music production, electrical engineering, software development, blacksmithing and more. These varied experiences perfectly blend in his unique form of generative art. His first series on the Blockchain was Synth Poems, followed by Angular and Transmission. In more recent series, Entropy, Glitchbox and Advection he continues to develop his stripped back, technological aesthetics, while embracing the possibilities of the blockchain to create evolving pieces. Deafbeef’s works have been featured in prominent exhibitions and have been collected by FingerprintsDAO, FlamingoDAO and more.
