Essential Ventures was conceived in 2020 during the early months of the coronavirus pandemic when it seemed like the world was collapsing around us.

We saw, again, the systems that supported our society and its growth and prosperity fail our most vulnerable communities.

From the depths of the catastrophic losses suffered, the opportunity to redraw the map has surfaced.

Technology is again enabling transformational change in the way that people live their lives at a time when circumstances beyond our control have allowed us to do so.

We want to enable the 5th industrial revolution.
