Staked to a 3-shot lead going into the third and final round at Trump National, Stenson opened with a 20-foot birdie putt and never let anyone closer than 2 shots the rest of the way.

He closed with a 2-under 69 for a 2-shot victory over Matthew Wolf (64) and Dustin Johnson, who birdied the last hole for a 68.

Stenson, five years removed from beating a field of more than 20 players, picked up $4 million for winning and an additional $375,000 for his team finishing second.

The big payoff -- not including a signing bonus reported to be about $50 million -- comes less than two weeks after the 46-year-old Swedish player decided to join the Saudi-funded LIV Golf series.

Stenson had pledged full support to the European tour when he became Ryder Cup captain and March, and the tour stripped him of the job four months later when he changed his mind.

"I guess we can agree I played like a captain," Stenson said on the LIV Golf telecast, after finishing at 11-under 202.

Asked by the LIV-paid broadcaster if he felt validated by the win, Stenson chose not to engage and replied, "It's been a good first week."

"It's been a busy 10 days. I'm extremely proud I managed to focus as well as I did," he said.

Stenson won the Hero World Challenge in December 2019 in the Bahamas, the holiday event hosted by Tiger Woods with a 20-man field. Before that, he won the Wyndham Championship in 2017. And while he felt pressure in the final hour, it didn't always look like it.

New Delhi used powers it has under India's IT law to block Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), relying on a provision it has invoked since 2020 to ban several other Chinese apps on national security concerns, said the government official and another source with direct knowledge.

The Indian government has not publicly announced the blocking. But the app was removed from Alphabet Inc's (GOOGL.O) Google Play Store and Apple Inc's (AAPL.O) App Store as of Thursday evening in India.

The removal of BGMI, which had more than 100 million users in India, comes after the South Asian country's 2020 ban of another Krafton title, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG).

The PUBG crackdown was part of New Delhi's ban of more than 100 mobile apps of Chinese origins, following a months-long border standoff between the nuclear-armed rivals.

The ban has expanded since to cover more than 300 apps, including popular gaming app 'Free Fire', owned by Singapore's technology group Sea Ltd (SE.N).

Tencent held a 13.5% stake in Krafton as of end-March through an investment vehicle, according to Krafton's regulatory filing.

Krafton shares slumped more than 9% on the news on Friday, later paring losses to close down 4.5% in Seoul. The company said in May India accounted for a high single digit percentage of its revenue in the first quarter of this year.

The change comes after the company improved its user and admin support documentation to make it easier to understand the available options when a macro is blocked.

"Based on our review of customer feedback, we've made updates to both our end user and our admin documentation to make clearer what options you have for different scenarios," Microsoft explained in a new update in the Microsoft 365 message center.

Rolled back due to negative user feedback

This announcement comes after Redmond backtracked on a decision made earlier this year to make it harder to enable Office VBA macros in docs downloaded from the Internet in several Microsoft Office apps (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word) for customers in the Current Channel (Preview).

The new feature meant that a popular distribution method for malware would effectively be killed since VBA macros embedded in malicious Office documents have been, for a very long time, one of the easiest methods for threat actors to push various malware families in phishing attacks.

The company announced in February 2022 that Microsoft Office would automatically block VBA macros in all downloaded documents after a rollout stage between April and June.

By stretching the feature release schedule to every three years, Microsoft should have enough time to work out any issues before pushing out an update that, say, causes printers to crash. The next release is reportedly scheduled for 2024, three years after the release of Windows 11. That means the (codename) Sun Valley 3 client update won’t happen next year, as previously rumored.

Windows users might bemoan the longer wait for major updates, but it’s important to highlight that Microsoft intends to increase the rate of feature drops, or what a clever marketing team is supposedly renaming “Moments” (this term hasn’t been used publicly yet). One of these Moments happened earlier this year, when Microsoft moved the Weather widget to the Taskbar.

The changes will reportedly start with Windows 11 version 22H2, or Sun Valley 2, which will continue the release of new features outside of major OS updates. Windows Central, citing unnamed sources, says Windows will launch these every few months, up to four times, starting in 2023.

It’s not clear whether the changes will apply to Windows 10. Bringing more features exclusively to Windows 11 might entice businesses and individuals to adopt the latest OS version. At the same time, randomly pushing out updates could frustrate large corporations that manage massive fleets of laptops, tablets, and desktops.

Highlighted by Roland Quandt on Twitter, Samsung posted early listings for all three versions of the Galaxy Watch 5, including the Pro model, on its international websites (in Belgium, Denmark, and Norway). This includes the presumed 40mm and 44mm sizes, as well as the 45mm Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

Unfortunately, these early listings are devoid of any new information – although they do at least confirm the model numbers of these upcoming smartwatches.

Of course, these model numbers will differ depending on the model. These appear to be LTE variants, as the Bluetooth versions of the Galaxy Watch 4 series carried a model number format ending in “0” (SM-R880, for example).

Interestingly, this finally pushes Samsung past the “SM-R8–” pattern that’s been in place since 2018’s Galaxy Watch series. But that does make sense, given the Galaxy Watch 4 series was topping out that number format with the 46mm Galaxy Watch 4, known as SM-R890.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Watch 5 series in mid-August, with the smartwatch rumored to see a minor price increase compared to last year’s models. We also got our first look at the design of the series in a recent leak, suggesting minor overall changes and adding further confirmation that the “Classic” branding with the rotating bezel is going away.

Both models run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, and come with up to 512GB of storage. They have 6.78-inch OLED screens, the same size as the previous ROG Phone 5S, but their 165Hz refresh rates and 720Hz touch-sampling rates are both substantial improvements over the last model. They have 6,000mAh batteries, same as previous models, and an upgraded three-camera setup. The Phone 6 will start at €999 and the 6 Pro at €1,299 — they’re set to launch in the UK and Europe first, and Asus says they’ll come to the US, India and elsewhere later.

The ROG Phone 6 comes in black and white, and the 6 Pro only in white. The biggest difference between the two models is the second OLED screen on the back of the 6 Pro, which is sort of cool looking but not generally very practical. You can also get a bit more RAM on the Pro model — the Phone 6 tops out at 16GB of memory, but the Pro will go up to 18GB. Suffice to say the regular Phone 6 model will probably be enough for most people.

Microsoft provided similar end-of-support messages to Windows 7 users when its updates dried up back in January 2020. ZDNet says that users will be able to click the notification messages to learn more or dismiss them until after the end-of-support date arrives.

That January 2023 date does appear to be a hard cutoff. Microsoft says it has no plans to offer ongoing Windows 8.1 security updates to businesses that choose to pay for them, as it has with Windows 7. Businesses willing to fork over the money can still get security updates for Windows 7 until 2023, but Windows 7 is still running on 13 percent of all Windows PCs worldwide. It justifies the continued effort and expense on Microsoft's part in a way that continuing to support the much-less-popular Windows 8 would not.
