FireFly

Alex, hello. Before I ask you questions about crypto and NFT, I want our audience to know you better. Can you tell us where you are from, about your hobbies, mainly about traveling) How long ago did you come to crypto, and how did you succeed in this direction?

Demiurg

I was born in Kyiv, lived there and in the surrounding capital area for 30 years. In 2018, moved to Slovenia and began to adapt, learn the language. Now I am 35 y.o.

I think, it is necessary to say: "I am fond of crypto and NFT", - if someone talks about his expertise and professionalism in crypto, then this is a "red flag" for me. I believe that there is not a single person who is a crypto expert. Of course, some people somehow understand the market, but still, for all of us, it's just a hobby.

Firstly, I will answer the question about coming to crypto and what I succeeded in. "Succeeded" is ambiguous because everyone has many mistakes and failures happen. And, of course, I am no exception. I also had a bunch of failures. I came to the crypto at the end of the summer of 2017. I bought Altcoins for the first time, which grew very strongly.

As soon as it turned out to be a plus, I gradually sold it. Bitcoin managed to jump to 10,000 for the first time in its history, but at the same time, Altcoins all fell. In the winter of 2017 - it was just an explosion. Every day I woke up and saw how the deposit doubled, tripled.

The result was quite a good profit.

And yes, travel. It's very inspiring, I've been almost everywhere in Europe! I like the European way of life! I avoid the seas in every possible way, especially in the summer, when there are crowds of people) But I love mountains! both summer and winter! Slovenia is ideally located in this regard. The nearest mountain is about 15-20 km from me, Well, Italy and Austria are also nearby! hour drive. And, of course, Switzerland! I haven't got to Norway and Iceland yet, but it's in the plans, but I think it will be very cool there!

FireFly

What are the main postulates and rules that crypto has taught you? Immediately help with advice to those who have recently been here. And when did you first learn about the NFT? What was the first purchase from the NFT?

Demiurg

Firstly, be more relaxed about money and drawdowns, be mentally strong. If you are afraid of losing, then it is better not to go into crypto at all. Secondly, in no case should you fall in love with projects, and nor should you invest more than you can lose. And lastly, I just concluded that this is primarily a history of the formation of the community!

As for the first NFT? I don't remember what it was at all. Probably 99% of that was the NBA TOPSHOT in March 21. Back then, it was still challenging to get into TOPSHOT; there were long queues for pack drops. What then awaited us on the Coinlist. And, of course, TOPSHOT quickly rolled away as quickly as it flew up)))) but I spent, in my opinion, only $50 or $100 on it, so these pictures remain on the account, and, of course, no one needs them and never will.

FireFly

The most exciting thing is that I started my activity in crypto much later than you. I started just when you bought your first NBA TOPSHOT NFT! Right now, I remember the amount I invested - $697, which, by the end of February, had already turned into $20 000 -30 000.

What utility or app, in your opinion, is missing a lot for young and more experienced crypto users? Is there any product in crypto that you would definitely make if you had an unlimited budget and a professional team of programmers?

Demiurg

I would not say that, from my point of view, something is missing. It seems to me that the market is developing quite systematically and has everything that is needed for a normal state. I don't have any unique ideas of what the crypto world lacks right now! I don't know, maybe if I had an unlimited budget and an experienced team of programmers, would come up with something.

FireFly

What is the essential thing in an NFT project? What are the goals of severe NFT projects? What is the most non-standard utility you have seen?

Demiurg

It seems to me that the most crucial thing in NFT is still building a community. Having a community, you can already move forward in any projects and do what financial possibilities and the level of support of your community allow you to do.

If intelligent networking is also connected here, then all this together will work even better. I created my first networking chat. For people like you and me, who will get to know each other, come up with something and move on together.

And about non-standard utilities. Well, here is a top-rated utility right now - sharing income from some kind of business in the real sector. But I don't think it's interesting. If you do it legally, it greatly complicates the process. I don't know of any other interesting and unique utilities that are in demand, except for the community, probably not!

FireFly

You know, for the most part, I agree with you, but let's talk then about what is the ideal community for you then? It happens that many people in the community have completely different life views, views on the crypto, diverse cultures and languages of communication!

Demiurg

Everyone has their own values and their own story! Yes, indeed, some communities invest a lot. If a random person with a small deposit ends up there, then it will be an extra boost and an extra motivation to develop along with the community, start earning more!

For me, the community is primarily people with one common idea, goal, aspirations, or some common interest, to which they go together. And, of course, in the NFT, many communities have a common goal - to make money, but people often become one family in the process.

FireFly

My next question is how do you like Magic Eden? Many have noticed that this marketplace's functionality and UI are incredibly cool! Is there anything else you would like to see in the functionality of the marketplace?

Demiurg

As for Magic Eden, I have certain thoughts; the satisfaction from working with this platform is maximum! I think they remain the undisputed leaders. This is an indication that they are heading in the right direction. And if we compare, for example, Magic Eden with Open Sea, then for two, the score will be 9:1, in favor of the Magic Eden on a ten-point scale.

The only one feature, that is missing, is the ability to scatter all bets, and not those that set within your budget. Plus, there is a strong lack of mass listing of their NFTs in more than 50 pieces. Everything else, I think, is just fine, and let's be realistic, they gradually implemented everything. And if you compare Magic Eden in the form in which it appeared a year ago and now, then it's just - heaven and earth.

FireFly

Yes, I agree with you 100%!!! Please tell us about your community! How did it form, and what is it like now? Tell us about Lazy.

Demiurg

The community, I would say, is the most valuable thing any influencer has. It is one thing for a smart and friendly audience that understands how to sort out projects, what and when to buy, consults with each other and helps! However, it is a completely different matter when just new market participants - hamsters - are being brought into some closed channel. Of course, we also had a couple of failures in the community, and in which, among other things, I was guilty. Everyone has such situations, but in our community, there are few of them, and I will never allow myself to risk my name and deceive people for a one-time monetary gain.

I'll tell you about Lazy Soccer specifically - this is a football manager, which is absolutely not fantasy football. Very often, these two concepts are confused. A football manager is a story about the development of a team, building an economic model, which, as a result, will give certain advantages in the game. The purpose of this game is to play with other similar players, grow your team, trade new football players on the transfer market and, in fact, derive economic benefits from this.

That is, there will be championships, there will be different divisions, just like in real life. It will be possible to fly to a lower division, or vice versa - to rise from a lower one to a higher one. The main thing is the competitive effect! I'm a big fan of these games myself! That is why I have always wanted to create my own game.

Many years ago I went to potential investors to raise money to create such a game on social networks, but they told me that this game is not for a broad audience, so no one would invest in it. But now, when the time of crypto has come, it has become clear to me that this could be just a fascinating story. And this may be my contribution to the mass adoption through the play-to-earn.

The game will consist of many components; it will contain TOKENS, which will also be the balance of the team, and it will include the NFT itself. The NFT is the so-called STAFF team. These people are engaged in improving the team's work: coach, accountant, advertiser, medic, and scout! There will be five of them.

NFTs will be pumpable! All characters will initially be of the common level, but they can also be upgraded using the token to the next rarity levels! To get in the end, sooner or later again, legendaries.

The WhitePaper was planned to be launched in September, preferably on the 1st. Again, one of the conditions was the presence of a live market, both NFT and the Crypto market in general, we are waiting for their revival! At least if NFT on SOLANA is now alive, then the crypto market is dead, and it is not known when it will return!!! but we're not in a hurry!

The first NFT collection of our project is the Lazy Alpha collection, which will be super-utilitarian in the game! Only owners of Lazy Alpha will be able to mint (create) new game characters, having two NFTs of Lazy Alpha. Game staff will be deflationary. In order to get a higher rarity of a staff, it will be necessary to burn two ordinary ones.

Alpha involves breeding, that is, crossing characters once every three days. Depending on the rarity of the Alpha, there will be a different rarity of the game characters themselves. The key characters will be NFTs, but the players will not be NFTs! That is, there will be an open transfer market where you can buy a virtual football player from another player.

Regarding our tokens: the private round will get its NFTs. More precisely, he will receive tokens in the form of vesting for staking his NFTs. And the same goes for the community round! There will also be ambassadorial rewards for participating in our program. They will be in the form of NFTs and will contain a certain number of tokens that can be gradually STAKE and UNLOCK.

And I must also say separately about Lazy Alpha! While the football game is being done, Lazy Alpha holders received from us, as a bonus for waiting, a pass to our closed Alpha chat! And they are all there, and I think they are very pleased with our Alpha Community and its opportunities!

About Rektville and Dust City we have all the information in Twitter and Discord.

https://twitter.com/DustCityNFT

https://discord.com/invite/dustcity

FireFly

here for our readers, I will briefly explain) First there were Lazy Alpha collection (now 30 Sol floor price). This NFTs will be very important in lazy soccer game when you release it. It's especially cool if you have two Lazy Alpha NFTs and they can pair up to create a new staff in the game. But there is still time before the release of the game, you made a bonus for Lazy NFT holders in the form of access to your closed Alpha, where people, thanks to your alpha hunters, receive important information and get WL's in other projects. Then appeared the Rektville collection, now renamed to Dust City Wl Parts and its utilities at the moment, what is that for owning 3 nfts, you get a guaranteed NFT mint for 0.5 Sol from the DUST CITY collection, and this collection will be the main alpha collection of your community, and fully transferred from telegram to discord and in English! A collection with amazing cyberpunk lore, a super community (I saw it myself), alpha hunters, collaborations with other projects and networking.

FireFly

You spoke about your community! Can you tell us about your favorite third-party NFT projects and why you love them? What cool features and utilities are in the top collections on solan?

Demiurg

I wouldn't say that I actually have them. Why? Because first of all, I believe that the NFT is a community, and I have my own community and have absolutely no interest in others. I can, let's say, participate in them or try to join them for some networking, influential acquaintances, chat about trends to bring something new for myself and my community.

FireFly

How do you feel when NFT is just art? A nice young artist making own collection and just trying to sell it! No expensive marketing, no utility - just art! Not a generative collection; each work is unique; from the artist's marketing tools, it's just their Twitter and that's it)

Demiurg

Okay, how do I feel about art. Well, in fact, in principle, I'm not a fan of art, let's say, but I always have a positive attitude towards art. Any labor costs that are done primarily not for making money but because the soul lies in it are worth attention.

If an artist's goal is to make money, and they do anything to make it, then... I don't really like this story. But now, if the artist's goal is to show something in his collection, to convey to people, and to imagine the future somehow, then I have nothing against selling such stories and buying them, respectively.

FireFly

What do you think about real decentralization in WEB-3? DAO was originally conceived as a system built on smart contracts! Now we see a massive influx of "discord DAO", I call them that!) In fact, very often, the last word remains with the creators of the DAO! They don't always listen to their community!

Demiurg

I do not believe in decentralization in any form at all! Blockchain is a great opportunity to centralize absolutely everything, to track every step of every transaction. Ah, and to streamline this whole story with finances.

Moreover, to streamline it not for the end user but for state structures; therefore, in my understanding, the crypto is not decentralization. This, on the contrary, is a stunning centralized action with the proper history, which will only worsen for users in this sense over time.

I think so, WEB-3 does not change anything. Nothing will prevent the relevant structures from adopting a legislative framework so that custodial wallets must be verified, registered, KYC somewhere, and so on. And this token is a KYC token, just like Binance did!

FireFly

I understand your point of view! Of course, we all understand that, as a result, regulation is needed, and in this case, it will even help and most likely not harm! However, according to "true DAO", I have a more romantic point of view) however, your thoughts are understandable, and they are closer to reality than mine)

I think we got a fascinating interview. You can invite new cool guys to your Dust City community at the end! I'm sure many will want to join!

Demiurg

I invite new cool guys to our Dust City community! 🙂

And be sure to follow Lazy Soccer. I am sure we will make an exciting game !

FireFly

Alex! Thank you very much for the interview! It was exciting! Good luck to you, and achieve all your goals in your projects!

Demiurg

Thank you very much Andrey!

Most importantly, can you share with our readers how and when you became familiar with crypto and NFTs?

Tone

I’m 31 years old and I’m from Italy! I got into crypto in 2018 when I started buying random shitcoins on eToro (lol). Only a few friends know that my first buy was in $XRP, so please don’t bully me now. I remember (vaguely) buying it at $0.15 before it went 20x in just three weeks.

Anyway, I went all-in on crypto three years ago when I quit my web2 career, which was becoming more monotonous with each passing day, despite being in the IT field.

Since then, I have learned more about crypto by lurking on Twitter, joining communities, and understanding the basics (as well as by losing money in several scams/slow rugs, learning the hard way).

FireFly

Cool! You could say you jumped on the boat early. What’s your favorite thing about the web3 world, and what simple tips would you give to newbies?

Tone

Overall, I love being able to transact value in a fast, frictionless, decentralized, and uncensorable manner. In terms of use cases and technological applications, NFTs are definitely my favorite subject of all. The immutable scarcity applied to generative art with trait statistics and rarities is a match made in heaven.

As a tip for newbies, in my humble opinion, it’s crucial to understand the difference in value proposition between web3 and web2 and how to sell it. Simply put, in web2, you first ship products and then seek out (build or find) an audience to sell to. In web3, you build your reputation by gaining the community’s trust first. Then, you can solve problems or build things alongside your community members, trying to reach other communities and onboard new members into yours. It’s about building a community of members, not just customers!

FireFly

Could you please tell us in more detail how you became acquainted with the Sama ecosystem, and what specifically interested you in it?

Tone

It all started with a friend of mine shilling Kusama to me, and we started setting up $DOT and $KSM validator nodes, which led to ForklessNation, a group of five people maintaining Dotsama nodes (with the Polkadot one currently securing over 1 million delegated $DOT and active in the W3F 1k Programme).

So, I started following influential people and learned about Donnie and his strong community. I missed the Moonsama ‘OG’ airdrop and the mint itself, but started buying and flipping. I even bought #1 for a whopping $20,000. Those were the good old crazy $MOVR days. Anyway, I became increasingly engaged within the community, and it became one of the main focuses of my crypto journey, thanks to its beautiful members, many of whom I became great friends with!

FireFly

Wow, that’s cool! So, you’re a top validator! Are you still bullish on the DotSama ecosystem? Although we can safely say that the parachain system is not ideal from an economic perspective, the number of developers in the DotSama system is constantly growing. From your perspective, does this mean that the DotSama era simply hasn’t had enough time to develop and achieve great success?

Tone

Not top! But it’s well ranked into the 1kV Programme, being up and running for quite a long time now, and flawlessly.

I’m bullish on Dotsama, Gavin’s vision. It’s more of a marathon than a sprint race, and everyone knows that multi-chain interoperability is where we’re headed. From an economic perspective, we can’t deny that we witnessed a few shitshows with certain crowdloans. Moreover, there have been some bottlenecks on both UX and marketing sides that have affected the ecosystem’s growth, at least in terms of market appreciation. Also, let’s not forget that the Moonsama ecosystem is getting its slot later this month, bringing the biggest NFT/gaming parachain to Polkadot!

FireFly

Could you please tell us how you came up with the idea to create your NFT collection? And tell us more about the Rareships NFT collection?

Tone

I was inspired by Moonsama/Donnie (and other projects/people), and had wanted to create my own NFT project for a long time. I enjoyed having the opportunity to lay the foundation for my own NFT project, putting effort into creativity, community management, economics, and all things related to an NFT project.

To be honest, before Raresama fully launched two months ago, I had planned to establish my collection in the broader Ethereum landscape (specifically OpenSea), which I was about to go for.

The original project name was ‘spaceships.wtf’. Of course, building on ETH would have been totally different (with both its pros and cons), but in the end, I’m happy to be able to build within a community I’m already familiar with.

Rareships wants to be a community-focused gaming NFT project fully inspired by the Moonsama culture. Everything is tailored to the Moonsama community, from the collection’s supply to specific trait/layer names. Many things will remind you of the Moonsama ecosystem’s history, vibes, and memes.

The collection’s traits are never causal, as they carry a specific meaning, such as special perks or certain buffs to be revealed in due time.

On top of all this, we’re building our web3 gaming protocol, leveraging Lore, Governance, and whatever aspect we think is good to experiment on. All of this will take time, and we’re not going to make any significant promises at this current stage, as we prefer to underpromise rather than underdeliver.

Meanwhile, we also host ‘classic’ web2 games within our community, which we plan to include and integrate structurally.

FireFly

When creating your collection, are you relying on the fact that the main part of the community is already established, and you want to attract new users to the existing community? Or do you plan to build a completely new community around your project? Can we say that the bottom line is to develop a play-to-earn project?

Tone

Definitely the former. Not at all, I don’t believe in play-to-earn, as it’s notoriously not sustainable in the long term. When it’s ready, our economy is going to be based on play-to-craft mechanisms, be it driven by lore, governance or other perks.

FireFly

Very interesting! So, the bottom line is that it won’t be a standalone game app but more of a social project where you can contribute to the community and get rewarded, right? So, you will take the path of collaboration managers, alpha callers, and community builders, right?

Tone

No, not exactly. Gaming remains the focus, but we’re not going for the ‘Earn’ route, meaning it doesn’t rely on rewards with never-ending inflation, which usually and eventually dilutes and destroys the gaming economy as soon as the inflow of new people declines.

There are a few ways to accomplish such a goal, such as incentivizing resource burn into crafting mechanisms, relying on sustainable revenue streams (such as a rake system for specific games or using the treasury to invest in yield-bearing assets, etc.)

FireFly

Could you please tell us more about the artists in your project? I saw some great 3D models of your ships on Twitter! Crazy!

Tone

Very proud to have with us NinjaMzfk

Unrivaled 3D skills! He recently worked on the super successful AKCB (A Kid Called Beast), which launched last December on OpenSea and pulled crazy numbers, still being one of the top trendy collections across the entire Ethereum NFT landscape. He’s a top-notch 3D modeler but also a humble guy. We are truly blessed to have him with us!

FireFly

He’s an amazing artist! I interviewed him quite a while ago, and he’s a very nice and funny guy. As for his skills, I can only say one thing — you’re really lucky to have him on your team. You guys are great! I wish you fruitful work together!

Could you elaborate on the figures and details for your upcoming NFT collection? When do you plan to mint it? What will be the supply and minting price? How can we get on the whitelist, and what will be the stages of the initial sale? Please tell our readers everything they need to know. Also, let’s talk about the roadmap.

Tone

The collection mint is happening this month on our website, with trading starting on Raresama soon after.

The supply will consist of 1000 pieces, with 150 staying in the treasury for future uses, 100 being distributed as airdrops to the community’s OGs and contest/event winners, 550 being distributed via the whitelist, and 200 going for public sale. We are committed to launching with the highest possible number of unique holders, (targeting 500, which is an outstanding achievement if you ask me). The WL mint price is 2k $SAMA, and the public price TBA. Unfortunately, all WLs are already taken, as we received more than 2k requests for 550 WLs. It’s been overwhelming!

However, we have committed to our community to not sell any of the raised $SAMA, as we are very bullish on the future token’s appreciation, while also being loyal and supportive towards the whole ecosystem and Moonsama team. We take transparency very seriously, key value to us.

We don’t have a detailed roadmap. Instead, we will follow a community “mindmap” (more details to come).

FireFly

This is a great idea because everyone is tired of empty promises in roadmaps! You’re leaving it up to yourself and the community to choose the direction for the future. But can you tell us a secret? What is your dream for the collection and the community? How would you like it to develop and in what direction?

Tone

Yes, roadmaps are feasible when short-term focused, imho. I dream of delivering something people will always recognize as a Raresama / Moonsama Network’s OG collection for years. The goal is to create a balanced gaming economy and sustainable stream revenues for Rareships’ treasury. The community will always drive our efforts and shape the project’s future.

FireFly

Can you please list your favorite NFT projects outside of the Sama network? And can you tell us more about why they are your favorites?

Tone

Definitely CryptoPunks and Azuki. Punks because they are the very first OG, timeless collection. Azuki because I love their design and overall chill vibes.

FireFly

Cool! And now for the last question before our quick blitz poll: what do you think will be the next big trend in web3? Now it’s obviously EVM networks, we’ve all caught ICO trends, play-to-earn, NFT, Defi! What new trends do you see emerging in the web3 world?

Tone

I think RWA tokenization hasn’t really taken off yet but has the potential to be a perfect match for NFTs in terms of yield generation and governance access.

I believe EVM is still dominating in general, but multi-chain interoperability will gain more and more traction, and protocols such as LayerZero are getting massive interest and funding from VCs.

I am quite positive towards L2 solutions aiming to scale Ethereum, such as Arbitrum (super trendy nowadays due to the $ARB token launch) and zkSync, which will be launching later this year.

I am consistently bullish on NFTs and their integration with DeFi, with a particular focus on lending protocols and money markets involving NFTs, which are still very early and somewhat illiquid.

FireFly

Here’s a quick survey! You can answer the questions you’re interested in more detail! And just answer the others briefly:

Tony’s answers will be in bold text

New Year / Christmas

Mountains / Sea

For retirement — Ethereum / Bitcoin (both)

Audiobook / Regular book

Telegram / Discord

Football / Hockey (Although in general I prefer tennis)

Beer / Whiskey

Anonymity and decentralization / Clear regulation

Star Wars / Marvel

Public blockchain / Private blockchain

Hardware wallet / Software wallet

ICOs / Airdrops

FireFly

I really want to thank you for this interview! It was very interesting to talk to you, and I think our readers will be interested too!

Tone

Thank you FireFly. It was quite interesting for me too.

FireFly

Hey! I will be glad to talk with talented and creative artists of Singular as you are! Please tell us about yourself first! What did you do before the NFT world? What`s your education, hobbies, goals!

NinjaMzfk

Hello, my name is Vitaliy and before the world of NFT, for the last 5 years, I was engaged only in online education in different schools of the CIS. I started as an ordinary sales manager, eventually created several own schools, and helped my friends develop theirs.

I love coffee\gym, watching series (especially thrillers and detective stories), now the NFT appeared and I love it too :)

I have a higher education, I graduated from Siberian State Industrial University (finance and credit) in 2013, but worked as a specialist for only half a year in my life. I have been drawing since childhood, graduated from art school and for some reason, I cannot apply my knowledge anywhere.

Goal: Just travel as much as possible and find a place where I would like to stay.

Tanka

Hi, Andrew. I`m very pleased you invited us for an interview. Always very surprised when I'm interesting to anyone.

My name is Tanya, I'm a designer. I studied applied mathematics, but it was not my cup of tea. Life took me to design. I started with creating websites and gradually came to illustration. I know a little about 3D and animation. In short, all a little bit)

My main job is to create different graphics for clients. They showed me what NFT is a month ago and I dived into it. So far, this is not my main occupation, but I really like it. It is some wonderful world that I'm a little afraid of.

About goals, it's hard to say. I want to live, create, benefit others and be happy.

FireFly

Super! Very interesting! I think this is exactly what our readers want to see! How a new artist comes to the NFT world!

Tanka

You know, people are very afraid of the new. This is our nature. I showed my first results to the designers I know and they are impressed, but they do not take this step themselves, although want to.

It's always easier to walk the beaten track.

FireFly

You have recently got acquainted with the world of crypto and NFT. Tell us how clear was the process of making fiat money and the process of withdrawing money received on the marketplace for you? What scared you and what is now clear?

NinjaMzfk

In general, almost everything was clear to me, when I sold my first work, of course, I asked my comrades how to withdraw money (hello and thanks to Nuriddin), but I figured it out pretty quickly.

Since I didn’t even think that I would sell the work, I threw it out for the sake of interest, I didn’t even think about the difficulties, it all happened spontaneously. So there was nothing to worry about.

Tanka

And I have the opposite.

I didn't understand it very well so haven't felt so stupid in a long time. I was very lucky that Vitaliy was poking me, like a little kitten, and leading through these technical issues.

Getting a wallet was not difficult. I didn’t understand how to put my money on the marketplace from the card for the first drop. Therefore, Vitaly simply transferred a small amount from wallet to me. Then I ran into difficulties when wanted to withdraw money. Because I didn't believe they were real. I repeat, I am very, very far from the world of cryptocurrencies. Even then they showed me, so I managed. It was hard to go this way the first time. It's already easy to repeat it.

I am very glad that there is an amazingly responsive community that prompts and helps a lot.

FireFly

Cool! That is, based on your experience, Tanya, we can reassure artists, who want to try to place their work in the NFT world) Guys, it's not scary! Come and we'll all help!

NinjaMzfk

Moreover, I will say on my own, to support Tanya (so she was not worried about), I bought her first work)

Tanka

This is a very difficult topic for me about work. I'll tell you now.

FireFly

Ahaha, cool, well done Vitaliy!) We`re waiting for your story, Tanya!

Tanka

It`s easier for me to work with customers, because they come with a specific task and I don’t worry that I will do something wrong. Usually, everything is clear.

But in the world of NFT... Look, I draw a picture that I like. The next step, I show it to the whole world and only then they decide if it is valuable. It reminds me when a boyfriend meets a girlfriend`s parents. You bring someone into a family and really hope that they like him. Then you get very upset if they don't. You don't stop loving him because of it, but it makes you sad.

Every drop for me is like a guy I introduce to my parents. I'm always terribly worried.

Such is my personal psychological barrier.

My first collection is All My Friends: https://singular.rmrk.app/collections/02182bd1df69629e65-🙃

It consists of 20 characters. And each relatively quickly found a new owner, but even by the 20th character, my excitement did not decrease. It's very hard for me 🙂

Therefore, Vitaly's support at the initial stage is invaluable, of course)

Yes, nothing has changed till now)

NinjaMzfk

It`s very kindly!

Tanka

But then he resold it ten times more expensive 😃

NinjaMzfk

Yes)

FireFly

Tanya, I can wish you to always remain yourself!) Keep doing cool work, even with excitement! Apparently thanks to it, you are doing well!))

Tanka

Thanks, Andrew. Although I want to create the same works without going gray))

FireFly

You will succeed!) The community welcomed you very warmly!

Tanka

Yes, it's totally amazing. I somehow got used to the fact that this world is cold to everyone and only relatives warmly welcome ... And here it is ...

FireFly

If we return to the conversation about your first collection All My Friends, then I noticed it a long time ago. You know that I even bought your Zombie and kept it on my avatar for a long time. Many famous people of Singular own your works! Very cool collection, I sincerely think so!

Tanka

Thanks a lot. When I created it, I set a limit of 20 drops and thought this is a lot, if I can draw that many. As a result, there were a lot of ideas for characters that did not materialize, which means I could even do more 🙂

Though I'm glad it's over. Because I need to go further and try to create something new and implement other ideas, and not get hung up on a collection that just works and makes money. NFT is an opportunity to create for me. I wouldn't want to vulgarize it.

FireFly

Vitaly, the next question will probably be more for you! why did you choose Singular for your work and how did the first placement of the collection go? What difficulties arose or did everything go smoothly and conveniently?

NinjaMzfk

The story is very stupid.)

For a long time, I watched a stream from MAD Rabbit students where they said that they had earned a lot of money from their collection and talked about the platform.

I went to look at the site, I didn’t understand anything at first. Then I saw that can fill in a form. If the RMRK team likes your portfolio, they send you a small piece of KSM so that you can place there.

I did it, and successfully forgot about all these things. After 2 weeks I was looking through the mail, saw that I went through something there and money was sent to my wallet to post anything. At that time I didn`t understand the order of prices, or something.

Just for the sake of interest, I posted a work that had been lying for a year. No one needed it for 1.9 KSM. I don’t know where this price came from and went to drink tea. I came back in 5 minutes, the work was already bought. I was in shock, to say the least. They bought a work for $ 680 at that rate in 5 minutes. I realized that needed to start studying, since there was too much creative potential, and I didn’t fully understand where to put it in.

FireFly

Vitaly, the story is not stupid, but honest, from the outside! It seems to me that sometimes it happens, the Universe itself gives us signals that it's time to start!) Thanks for remembering your emotions!)

Tanka

It's like my mom's monthly salary (she's a teacher)...

😂

Although sometimes I want to cry)

FireFly

Vitaly, can you tell us about your past collections?

NinjaMzfk

I did not release the first collection right away, I went into myself for a very long time in order to come up with something interesting.

I decided that want to model a cassette player and make a unique collection based on it with a very cool idea (as it seemed to me at that time).

The collection is Into the music verse https://singular.rmrk.app/collections/86b151fa5dbb3ff31b-🖭

And the main idea was to collect hits that somehow influenced the development of music from the 1979th to the 2022th. To make a unique visual style for each song that was released that year. Plus, I contacted two wildly talented beatmakers and they started remixing the songs from my list. The remixes were unique, animation was done. And the interesting moment was with the price. For each year, I set the following prices.

If it's the 1979th, then the price is 1.979 KSM, if the 1985th then it`s 1.985. I thought it was cool. But unfortunately, after some time, they explained to me that it’s better not to use well-known music, even our own remixes, and I had to delete the first two works and add only the visual. Because of this, the numbering of the collection got down by 2 numbers. Moreover, the main feature was lost, so no one was interested.

FireFly

It actually sounds really cool! It's a pity that it happened (

But did you have other collections as well?

NinjaMzfk

Yes, after that I launched one mini collection for 6 pieces and started making Kusama Warriors https://singular.rmrk.app/collections/86b151fa5dbb3ff31b-⚔️ which were supposed to be the flagship. It was wildly interesting to work with them, come up with images and designs. (We make them together, by the way, with my girlfriend, now she does almost everything in this collection herself)

FireFly

Family teams))

NinjaMzfk

Exactly:)

FireFly

Well done! I do like this collection! I still can’t find the time to choose a character and buy) I’ll try to fix it)

FireFly

Tell us about your new collection TATATA Beavers.

Tanka

Let's start with the fact that we wanted to do a collaboration. Each of us has our own strengths. I believe that when people do something together, the result is always cooler than if we did something alone, synergy is important. We had to decide on a character. For some reason, we focused on cows and beavers 🙂

Tanka

I went with a friend to make concepts and we chose 3 beavers 🙂

NinjaMzfk

I said we want to do something fluffy with wool :)

Tanka

Yes, then Vitaly went to do 3D.

Tanka

We decided that it would be a fluffy beaver. The concept was from my side, from Vitaly was a 3D realization.

When we saw him, we fell in love and realized that can make a lot of cool images from him.

Everything was done relatively quickly, it seems to me that I constantly push Vitaly. I'm a hustler. I want to make it as soon as possible, launch it, and see if the idea comes to people.

NinjaMzfk

Then I tried to understand and describe what elements we can change and replace so that the images are truly unique. Then the routine work began with tables and trying out accessories and so on.

When we finally decided what we were going to do, Tanya went to draw the first concepts of the images, and then the fun began. From the basic beaver, very cool and different in character images began to turn out. And while I was thinking all this time what chips / utilities we can add to the collection to make it interesting.

I really like the combination of 2D and 3D art and add, I told Tanya at the beginning and advised to combine 2D and 3D in her first collection)

NinjaMzfk

Tanya tell me about icons and characters)

Tanka

Each beaver has icons at the bottom. They denote different categories: mood (mood), gender ... In short, different. And it's not just like that!) I like such things and of course we transfer everything that responds to our work.

And beavers will be able to breed 🙂

If you have a beaver girl and a beaver boy, then you can get a cute beaver from a separate collection that we are preparing.

We want to create some additional value for the collection and add interest, of course. Therefore, we add all sorts of chips.

NinjaMzfk

Beavers tatata is a collaboration collection of 450 generative beavers with a unique combination of 2D and 3D elements and 50 collected looks with their own characteristics.

The first of three unique collections from the beaver series.

Each beaver has its own character / gender and the main characteristics that are indicated in the form of symbols below it. These characteristics will influence future offspring.

RoadMap 1.0

A collection of pixel versions of beavers.

Each owner of our beaver in mid-February will be able to AirDrop a pixel version (which will be made under RMRK 2.0) under the same number from a unique separate collection.

Collection of little beavers.

Our beavers are divided into 2 genders, male and female. Having collected 2 beavers of different sexes, you will be able to marry them and in the spring receive an AirDrop of a unique beaver (made of 2D and 3D elements) from a separate collection of beavers, which will be available only by mixing, there will be no direct sales from the creators.

Banners and draws of beavers, various bonuses and activities, follow twitter. :)

Tanka

I already want to create little brutal beavers))

NinjaMzfk

I have already come up with a system of how it will be + beavers can be bred once a season

FireFly

sounds super ambitious! well done! art is cool too!

NinjaMzfk

50 pictures will be unique images collected by hand, then we will start generating from individual elements. But still, each generated beaver will be rendered and completed manually)

450 will be in generation! Total collection of 500 pieces!

Tanka

Maybe there will be even more images ...

NinjaMzfk

may be)

Tanka

Because I have 1000000 ideas

NinjaMzfk

1000000 ideas and only 500 beavers)

Tanka

choose the best)

FireFly

yes yes yes!) there are only 500 beavers!)

Tanka

But for now, we collect and think over each with 50 pens

FireFly

Tell us about the NFT utilities (useful functions) in your past collections!

NinjaMzfk

Here in the warriors https://singular.rmrk.app/collections/86b151fa5dbb3ff31b-⚔️ there are 4 goodies.

For significant warriors in the collection, I give separate pieces of art that can be placed as a banner. The art itself is not the same nft that you bought.

Now I am holding a faction war, where people decide in an open vote which faction will win, and the owners of the winning faction receive unique NFTs in honor of this particular victory, which they can then exchange for discounts and so on.

10 unique artifacts are planned, 1 artifact for 1 faction. buying which you can use it on your warrior and get his legendary version, again a separate work.

For some warriors, they will be marked on Twitter as "He will be a beaver as a gift" you can get one generative beaver. Such warriors will be 20 out of 50.

Tanka

Each NFTs owner of my first All My Friends collection https://singular.rmrk.app/collections/02182bd1df69629e65-🙃 will receive a random generative beaver.

FireFly

What prices will be on the primary sale of the new collection? Do you already have an understanding, the prices for all beavers will always be the same from the owner of the collection or will they increase?

NinjaMzfk

I think that with the receipt of verification, prices will increase, because a lot of work is being done and 2 more collections are tied to this one price. These are the pixel ones that holders + beavers will receive.

So the price will go up.

FireFly

Clear ! something I really wanted to buy myself a pair of beavers and beavers!))) How often do you plan to put up new beavers for sale? First, there will be 50 pieces manually created and then generative?

NinjaMzfk

Now we are testing options and will put up 2-3 for sale, but we promise to speed up =)

FireFly

clear ! well done!

FireFly

The world of NFT gives obvious advantages to artists - the absence of strict deadlines, as in the case of working with a customer (although Tanya wrote that this is not usual for her), the ability to create those works that the author himself likes, and a pleasant bonus of selling her works! At the same time, some artists are already thinking about creating "breakthrough things in the NFT world"! What are such breakthrough things for you and what would you personally like to bring new to this space?

Tanka

For me, this is an environment where you can implement your ideas. So far, I'm not at a very deep level in this world, but I'm getting it.

For example, I love strange creatures and magical worlds. And I really want to create a limited series of cards from the fictional world of spirits, gods and shamans.

I really want to send each owner of this future collection a real card made in the stereo-vario technique. So that it was a physical animated card, when a different picture is at different angles. Make individual packaging, beautifully design and send to anywhere in the world.

Link something virtual to the physical.

NinjaMzfk

For me, I am proud that we were among the first to start mixing 2D and 3D in Singularity.

But in general, I have one very cool idea, but I still don’t fully understand how I can implement it technically and most importantly automatically, and because of this I’m afraid to talk about it so that it won’t be stolen ahead of time.

But it contains mechanics that should be very interesting and exciting. It is possible to implement this only in Sandbox, but this is not certain until I find out the options)

Tanka

these are the developments of the first card, but now I want to add modern elements there ...

FireFly

What a pleasure to get to know the artists! I am very glad that I have direct contact with many of you!)

NinjaMzfk

mutually =)

FireFly

Select 1-2 most beautiful works on Singular for you and explain why! Don't propose to each other!

NinjaMzfk

works or collections?

FireFly

As you wish !

NinjaMzfk

then collections

Tanka

in general, of course, there are the craziest ideas, but for them you need to assemble a team ... maybe we will come to this someday

I really like this collection https://singular.rmrk.app/collections/54eea4ff69b8f03873-C1MAO

charismatic character and very cool work with color

NinjaMzfk

I would even single out the artist, since his collections are all cool: https://singular.rmrk.app/space/FykMxr2d2MEGizLbs9hGGCiEb5nrgTHvHmWo3GSJ3xrEHJ6?page=1&tab=created&creator=true&showCollections=yes SKULLZ

NinjaMzfk

The new 3D collection from Mad Rabbit went crazy for me, I think it will be a wild success. https://singular.rmrk.app/collections/fa0dcc186bd089241e-🏀

FireFly

Oh ! SKULLZ! very very cool ! I personally expressed respect to him during our communication for his work, and even impudently hinted that sooner or later I would have my Avatar drawn by him! https://singular.rmrk.app/collections/9692fa834afcce2d3e-Q8SHU

As for Mad Rabbit - I know there are many of his students, this person definitely understands Art)

Tanka

I also find interesting doodles https://singular.rmrk.app/collections/6ec662611f161fd10a-DDWORLD

FireFly

Cool, thanks, many of these works are known to me, but not all! get acquainted!)

FireFly

What features would you like to see added to Singular in the future?

Tanka

Whitelist, royalty and auction 🙂

NinjaMzfk

Royalty)

Search by attributes inside the collection (example as in open, this is a huge plus for generative collections)

And the button to exchange RMRK right on the site)

Auction, yes)

Tanka

I don't have enough whitelist. Because sometimes they write to me that they want a character, when I haven't posted it yet. But I don’t want to directly conduct a transaction, like they send you to your wallet, and you are a gift

and so the first person has the opportunity to buy directly through the system

NinjaMzfk

this is actually a problem.)

the first 3 in my warriors were bought through twitter and there 5 KSM came for 3 warriors, it would not hurt me in the statistics =)

FireFly

Much of this is coming soon! The team hears you!) https://rmrk.upvoty.com/ - and don't forget to add your suggestions and ideas here!

Tanka

Okey)

FireFly

Our interview is coming to an end! Do you have anything else to add?) I think many artists looking at your activity will work even more productively)

NinjaMzfk

First of all, thank you so much for calling, it is really important for us.

Since it is right at the time of the launch of the new collection, which we have high hopes for.

Thanks for doing a great job overall :)

And we keep playing :)

Tanka

I would wish those who doubt whether to try NFT or not, cast aside all their doubts and try. Because it can give new opportunities. It's not easy here, no one promised it. But here it is very interesting and it seems that this is the future 🙂

Andrew, thank you very much. For interviews, help and advice. I will be glad to receive some random advice from you if ideas come to mind)

FireFly

Thanks a lot ! I was very pleased to talk with you, I want more people to know about you and be able to appreciate your work and your work!
