El proyecto surge como respuesta a un episodio

ampliamente percibido como scam

y propone transformar esa experiencia

en memoria activa, apelando al humor 

—directo y deliberadamente crudo—

como herramienta pedagógica.

Funciona como un espejo incómodo:

devuelve al ecosistema cripto

una imagen exagerada 

de sus propias narrativas,

sin excluir la del propio proyecto.

Es algo que todo el ecosistema

necesitaba enfrentar,

Fooled Lion nace para exponer el autoengaño

y educar en el proceso.

La historia reciente del ecosistema cripto

muestra una coreografía conocida:

1.3. Origen del meme y fundamento de su elección

Fooled Lion está inspirado en la imagen del famoso león embalsamado de Shanghái

y funciona como un dispositivo de contraste humorístico inmediato.

El león, símbolo cultural de fuerza,

autoridad y grandeza, aparece reducido

a una forma torpe y vacía, incapaz de sostener

la solemnidad que pretende mostrar.

Expresa el colapso entre expectativa y resultado.

No se trata de una sátira consciente

ni de una parodia deliberada de sí mismo.

Es humor involuntario:

Algo serio fracasa sin saberlo ni comprender por qué,

y es precisamente esa falta de conciencia

En febrero de 2025, la red Solana atravesó uno de esos momentos

que no entran fácilmente en una categoría clara.

No fue solo un fallo técnico.

Un token promocionado o “inocentemente difundido”,

una narrativa de utilidad real, un crecimiento acelerado

y una caída casi inmediata.

Un año después cuando el recuerdo 

parecía desvanecerse, emerge cual afección crónica 

contra la amnesia del ecosistema, el meme Fooled Lion.

Conmemorar una fecha permite a una comunidad

fingir que se aprendió una lección colectiva.

El ecosistema cripto,

fiel a su espíritu innovador,

suele evitar ese trámite.

Generalmente, los fracasos no se conmemoran:

se entierran bajo nuevas narrativas,

nuevos nombres y nuevos “ahora sí”.

Fooled Lion propone un gesto tan simple como inútil:

Declarar un día para recordarle a los ingenuos
