We are framing this.</p><p>The whole point is to show how easy it is for AI to produce “looks-legit” information with:</p><ul><li><p>serious tone,</p></li><li><p>polished structure,</p></li><li><p>dramatic quotes,</p></li><li><p>suspiciously specific numbers,</p></li><li><p>and just enough plausibility to make your brain go, “...wait.”</p></li></ul><hr><h2 id="h-why-this-project-exists" class="text-3xl font-header !mt-8 !mb-4 first:!mt-0 first:!mb-0"><strong>Why this project exists</strong></h2><p>Because April Fool's Day deserved an upgrade.</p><p>Not another one-off prank banner.<br>Not another fake coupon popup.<br>Not “you won a yacht, click here.”</p><p>We wanted a <strong>living fake newsroom</strong>:</p><ul><li><p>continuously updated,</p></li><li><p>strangely coherent,</p></li><li><p>increasingly absurd,</p></li><li><p>and uncomfortably believable at first glance.</p></li></ul><p>If modern misinformation is mass-produced, then media literacy should also be mass-practiced.<br>Fooling is that practice range — except with better headlines and more pigeons.</p><hr><h2 id="h-the-site-fantasy-and-the-system-reality" class="text-3xl font-header !mt-8 !mb-4 first:!mt-0 first:!mb-0"><strong>The site fantasy (and the system reality)</strong></h2><p>On the surface, Fooling looks like a normal publication:</p><ul><li><p>sections,</p></li><li><p>headlines,</p></li><li><p>bylines,</p></li><li><p>timestamps,</p></li><li><p>article pages,</p></li><li><p>search and feeds.</p></li></ul><p>Under the hood, it's a full satire engine:</p><ul><li><p>scheduled generation cycles,</p></li><li><p>model-driven article drafting,</p></li><li><p>moderation checks,</p></li><li><p>image pipeline with fallback logic,</p></li><li><p>indexed publishing,</p></li><li><p>operations logs and reporting.</p></li></ul><p>Translation: this is not a static joke page.<br>This is a factory that manufactures polished nonsense on a timetable.</p><hr><h2 id="h-not-random-jokes-a-progressing-fake-universe" class="text-3xl font-header !mt-8 !mb-4 first:!mt-0 first:!mb-0"><strong>Not random jokes.
