Hello and welcome to the official blog for Fool’s Gold Token (FGT)! We’re glad you’re here. In this post, we will discuss what motivated us behind this experiment as well as our objectives and how we plan on achieving them.

The symbol for Fool’s Gold Token is FGT and unlike many other cryptocurrencies which exist solely for gains; it has been created specifically as an experiment into understanding various price movements within tokens systems governed by different rulesets. Therefore one could say that FGT is essentially an ‘in-house thought-out’ project meant to study tokenomics deep and wide so that other people in the industry can benefit from it.

One million FGTs will ever be mined on the Fantom's network because that is the maximum supply and tokens can only be burned. This deflationary feature allows us measure closely how diminishing supply affects value over time.

The distribution of FGT is going to be done through bribes at Equalizer.Exchange and other platforms. This is an attempt to make the community more involved with FGT creating a living system around it. We hope that by doing this we can also see what effect such distributions have on liquidity and prices.

LP tokens make up a significant part of our experiment so we came up with two ways in which they could be used. Firstly, we want them to incentivize liquidity providers (LPs) and secondly as rewards for providing liquidity in the pools.

1. Burn Mechanism: In the process of buying back FGT from the market using a portion of tokens acquired by LPs will be burnt thereafter. We would like to see what effect reducing supply has on the price of this asset through this.

2. Reinvestment Strategy: To give higher rewards to liquidity providers on Equalizer more of their earned coins will also be reinvested. Our aim is to find out if increased incentives can drive liquidity and what impact it may have on the market dynamics of our token.

We believe that transparency and community involvement are essential for the success of Fool’s Gold Token. As such, we promise to keep our community informed with regular updates on the project’s progress. These reports will contain what we have discovered so far, the difficulties encountered, as well as insights gained along the way as part of this experiment. Through sharing what we have learned, it is our hope that we can contribute towards a wider understanding of crypto tokenomics.
