This story reads as a novel of greed, backstabbing, lies, deceit, partying, cocaine, fame, and defrauding investors out of 10’s of millions of dollars, taking the illicit money to build his personal portfolio, brand, and web3 investments in Companies. For those uneducated on the topic of investor fraud, as I once was, I start by shedding some light for you. I, too, was in the dark on this topic, until researching, after hearing all of the allegations on Twitter, which is never-ending for Farokh. I researched this by way of both the SEC website and Law Firm websites that take on cases for victims against fraudsters that have broken the law. These are some of my research findings on how these fraudsters operate directly from these websites. Securing investment capital is a necessary step for many entrepreneurs and existing businesses. However, it would be best to convince individuals that your idea or business is a sound investment with an opportunity for profit. Most investors will want to look carefully at the businesses or ideas in which they intend to invest their money, as the person with the company or vision may feel the need to convince potential investors of the value the company or idea represents. There’s nothing wrong with enthusiasm and persuasive speech, but if you cross the line into outright lying, you could find yourself accused and guilty of investment fraud. Investor fraud takes on many forms. There is no shortage of methods used to trick investors with false information. A few of the more common situations in which people wind up committing investment fraud is an illegal or unethical activity involving lying directly to the investors to profit at the expense of the investors and others. Investor fraud can also include false information, pump-and-dump schemes, or trading on insider information; the fraudster seeks to dupe investors through misrepresentation (https://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/misrepresentation.asp) and to manipulate markets in some way. ((the following 2 paragraphs are repeated later in the report as well)) He decided to do just this; he presented a massive opportunity to the public with his NFT project, being sold as not just any NFT project. This was a chance to be an owner with him in the first-ever decentralized WEB3 Media Platform, turning his stages into a business where all investors would now get rich with him. As still stated today on the homepage, “Ownership means we get to decide what we consume, how it’s delivered, and we ALL benefit from the abundance created from it.” THIS IS A HUGE LIE, AND WE HAVE THE UNDENIABLE PROOF. He sold you this partnership into his new “web3platform”, but this was just another scam. He was able to fool everyone by selling 10s millions of dollars of NFTs to become his partner, only to defraud his entire community and use them as sheep going to the slaughter. The holders were sold an investment, “the first ever” fully decentralized platform controlled by the people, and you would earn money by just listening in to the drops Rug Radio would host. The scheme was quite clever. Market, Promote and Sell people a partnership to invest in the “first-ever” Web3 media brand owned by you with you and for you and get wealthy with Farokh, who has shown his public portfolio holdings of NFTs in the millions of dollars because of having the Midas touch. The self-proclaimed NFT picking Guru “Farokh,” that got rich buying and flipping NFTs, was not only promising to make you rich by bringing you the winning picks he was buying and getting rich off of, but he would turn this into a WEB3MEDIA platform and allow for you to own a piece of it with him and “ YOU WOULD SELECT PROJECTS TO HOST IN AMA’S AS A COMMUNITY” as the website states make an “abundance” together. 12/6/22, 10:05 PM Editing Farokh Sarmad / Rug Radio – is a fraud. – Medium https://medium.com/p/e8dcf8746857/edit 4/61 This is a clear-cut, dry, matter-of-fact situation; Rug Radio holders have repeatedly been scammed and defrauded. These are all documented on the blockchain. The main thing to highlight is that Farokh and Mel were publicly asked multiple times if these incidents were occurring, and the response each time was NO. They publicly lied to their existing investors, breaching their fiduciary duties to them, which is FRAUD. These two public conversations took place in audio spaces, one in a Townhall AMA on Discord in Q1 of 2022 and one in a Twitter Spaces in Q2 of 2022, where a holder brought allegations expressing his frustrations about what appeared to be happening. In the Twitter conversation, the Rug Radio Holder @CHICAGONEKO assumed Farokh received direct compensation to promote projects to Rug Radio holders. He believed Farokh was being paid to do this and not disclosing, misleading holders due to the way Farokh shilled these projects with no hard questions ever asked, yet each promoted drop would be called “AMAZING.” while creating hype and “FOMO”. I have included the recordings of both rooms at the end of this document. I also transcribed the Twitter Space room entirely. This report has changed due to Profits Over Wages tipping off Farokh of the release of this report or something along the line. I trusted her and she deceived me. Within a little over one hour of me asking if she would review this fraud and discuss it on an open twitter spaces, based on her brand doing precisely this, Farokh started calling me + facetime and threatening me via text. When I did not respond, he started calling me from blocked numbers as I did answer a blocked call to find him on the other end. He then had other people start reaching out to me, some new people I didn’t know and others I did. He tried to intimidate, threaten, and blackmail me if I proceeded with this report. Farokh has always been using his main employee, “head of discord,” to silence the truth, cleaning the crime scene and silence what Rug Radio dismisses by calling it “FUD,” but in reality, they are valid questions, and his employee under Farokhs orders sits and delete all comments and messages containing valid questions and concerns from investor holders. (we will subpoena the discord server audit log as proof). Before posting this, I did nothing to go against the Rug Radio server yet; as of today, November 23rd, 2022, I was banned from there, but again the audit log of the server is proof of who did it. These wallets have sat dormant for over seven months, only accumulating assets. After I gave these addresses to Profits Over Wages, not only did Farokh start to threaten me, but he also started to move the aforementioned dormant assets around. He is clearly trying to take public ownership of some of the misconduct laid out in this report to mitigate negative responses toward him. I only shared some, not all, with Profits, so he couldn't try and cover all his tracks. This only solidifies his guilt as I no longer have to prove that the mystery wallets are his. He is taking ownership of all in the last 72 hours. This means he has basically pleaded guilty to the claims I am bringing public awareness to after he has publicly lied about doing these exact things multiple times. Last week he was trying to take the position, sending me a text that this was his brother’s wallet and not his. Today, he is putting his name on these wallets without fully knowing what I am bringing forth but only having a slight idea. Farokh has been very loud and jumps at any chance he can to kick people while they are down, especially for scamming. Profits had built a brand exposing people in the space, ultimately leading to their eradication. When the Nate Chastain Opensea incident occurred, whose actions pale compared to this, Farokh took pleasure in attacking him publicly, yet knowing everyone he scammed. These are screenshots where I approached Profits and sent her these wallets. Now 14 days later, after days of threats from Farokh and the people he sent my way, she acts clueless about what I am about to expose and tells me I should speak to him, not expose him, all while tipping him off. Making sure they get stuck holding the bag worth nothing while he and these projects have profited millions of dollars off these investors who have been rugged and burned for millions of dollars. I mentioned earlier that he and Mel had been asked directly on Twitter Spaces and in a Q&A in Discord by Rug Radio holders who asked if Farokh or any hosts or Rug Radio were being paid to hold AMAs for the project drops. There were vocal concerns that rooms of upwards to 1000 rug radio investors were being pitched and sold these drops as being “AMAZING,” while no hard questions were ever asked the teams or founders. The holders would buy up the drops of up to 10k tokens that would then dump in value almost immediately after sellout to almost nothing in price as the project cashed out and all future promo ceased. They were getting rich while investors were losing hard-earned money. When this was asked in March of 2022 on Spaces, these project floor prices had increased on mint; then all crashed shortly after minting out in a pump-anddump manner. These questions were publicly rebutted by lies from both Mel on spaces and Farokh on Discord. To be clear, this is FRAUD and the breach of a corporate fiduciary to their investors. They LIED to the investor audience to further the scam, defrauding the investors into believing that all hosts and projects being promoted/hosted/shilled to the investor audience were all selected “randomly” when we know this is not true and we have proof detailed in this report. Projects and Celebrities are all paying massive amounts of money to Farokh directly in exchange for promotion to the valuable Rug Radio investor audience of thousands of buyers. The Backstory Of How We Got Here FaRokh sArmaD’s Fraud An examination of the illegal business dealings, market manipulation, and false claims made by one of Web3’s most important NFT influences. Many accusations and allegations have echoed over the halls of Twitter over the last year about him. Yet, he has done a great job using his loud voice and power via his public celebrity affiliations to shoot down all the allegations and maintain the status quo in the industry. Many holders intuitively felt what was going on but couldn’t prove their intuition to be correct, or they didn’t have a loud enough voice to get this story heard by the masses still under his magic spell of deceit. We will collect all of them via an open email for anyone who wants to share the abuse they have received from this monster publicly. This is a situation of a greed sickness with an insatiable pallet where enough was never enough through a variety of predatory acts of manipulating, misleading, and defrauding a trusting community of his followers, who he groomed into becoming his investor partners. Most of them are new to the space, uneducated, and blinded by the glitz of celebs being hosted by Rig Radio; I mean Rug Radio and its founder FaRokh sarmAD. The celebrity influence gave him the trusted voice of the newcomers. His real following and brand are built off of FRAUD. He has maliciously preyed on innocent people’s goodwill as he fed them his BS mantra “Good Thoughts, Good Deeds,” and “Today Is A Beautiful Day To Have A Beautiful Day,” combined with his believable FAKE Laugh as the delivery mechanism across Twitter spaces day in and day out being energized in a non-human way where he could go on a rant without pausing for hours on end. This scam started at the start of his career as an NFT promoter and evolved and grew with the influx of money coming in from new buyers and the rise of his fame. In his early days, it was a scam of getting paid hefty fees to host drops for celebs and failing to disclose to the audience that he was being paid to promote the drops while breaking all FTC laws. It was pitched to crypto NFT twitter perfectly and received with open wallets. His rubbing elbows with celebrities and charging them the last year and a half to host their drops to his audience without disclosing this to his audience bought him his street cred in NFT Twitter; up until the Rug Radio Launch, he hosted the biggest celebrity drops leading to the most prominent artists drops and project founders in the space that was all paying him with crypto payments or wire transfers confidentially to shill their projects to his “audience” who uneducated, new to the space, that believed they found a trusted voice. He made it appear like he was making millions of dollars buying and selling all the right NFTs. WRONG he was getting rich by charging massive fees to host these projects and shill them to his audience and by charging huge fees to “shit coins” that he would architect and execute the pump and dump of using a celeb, making him and the celeb a fortune while the celebs followers would get stuck carrying the bag and lose all their money and he did this knowingly and in a premeditated manner. This scheme he has been running has lost eight figures of hardearned money from innocent investors across NFTs and Crypto Currencies Tokens. It has been fueled by greed and a rise in popularity powered by a cocktail of money, drugs, and fame propelling wolf in sheep’s clothing forward. The market would eventually explode for PFP projects, which was his perfect entry point to take his scam to the next level. He also sold a security where if you owned the NFT, you would earn “tokens” these tokens would be the key to the ecosystem to earn more. Ownership means we each get to decide what we consume, how it’s delivered, and we all benefit from the abundance created through it.” BEHIND THE MASK Farokh Sarmad has been a self-proclaimed social media marketing guru for the last 11 years, using schemes and tricks of buying fake followers and engagement while posting photos from other’s accounts, not his own, not disclosing, to build up his fake rich lifestyle pages, which amongst them includes @goodlife. He made a name for himself by shilling fake positivity very quickly and using a variety of tactics, including the crying victim of “abuse” from Mr. Beast on the Clubhouse platform, where he pivoted quickly into becoming an NFT Influencer promoting projects within the web3 space since early 2021 but never once disclosed he was being paid to promote these projects as he defrauded all of his followers. In early 2021, Farokh began to get into web3 deeply after growing a following on the Clubhouse App, where he hosted rooms that did NFT Drops and brought in some of the biggest names in the Web3 and Web2 spaces, being paid large fees yet never once disclosing this ever. Celebrities such as Fewocious, Snoop Dogg, Calvin Harris, Jake Paul, Steve Aoki, and many others would pay him heavy fees to shill their projects, yet he would not disclose this to the audience. The Clubhouse app would cement Farokh as a trusted voice within the Web3 community. Farokh, a true narcissist, knows how to lift other people’s spirits, foster positive vibes, and influence people considerably. However, many people were unaware of the selfish nature of the projects he promoted and listened to him blindly because of how he held himself. Nobody believed Farokh would encourage purchasing anything that would financially ruin them. He was far too cheerful and kind to do that. But they were wrong. Ever since 2011, when he started the base account for Mr. Goodlife on Tumblr, Farokh has clearly shown that he wants a life of luxury and doesn’t care how he achieves that status. It doesn’t matter how many paid promotions he takes for rug pulls projects, how many people he has lied to, or the money he has made others lose. He isn’t doing anything wrong in his mind; all he sees are the dollar bills stacking up. Farokh has made millions of dollars in the Web3 space, and with every million he has made, other people have lost tens of millions. Although others brainwashed by his charm might talk about him differently, this is the true Farokh Sarmad, and he must be stopped at all costs before more people are hurt. This would obviously be something markedly interesting to get involved with due to the sheer amount of money that NFT media and promotion has garnered since the take-off of Web3. Much of this mint profit would line the pockets of Farokh and the others such as Mel Tal. The genesis NFT holds a trading volume of over 10,700 ETH ($33,170,000) as of today and with a creator fee of 7.5%, which means the Rug Radio team has made over $2.4 million in secondary market royalties. However, one thing to note is that the NFT has tanked from a peak floor price of 1.8ETH down to .2 ETH ; just on buying the NFT under his deception, holders have lost 98% of their investment as is. As stated in the previous section, the way that Rug Radio was marketed made it seem that anybody involved would BENEFIT from being a member of Rug Radio. It was stated on the website as follows, “Ownership means we each get to decide what we consume, how it's delivered, and we all BENEFIT from the abundance created through it.” This implies that those who are invested in any Rug Radio NFT are BENEFICIARIES and therefore means that Rug Radio is the Fiduciary and therefore has a Fiduciary Duty to every single one of the holders. However, instead of “Benefiting from the abundance created through Rug Radio,” Nearly everybody who owns a Rug Radio NFT besides Farokh has suffered massive financial losses and has no say in the majority of what Rug Radio promotes or the content that is created. Definition of Fiduciary Duty Due to the way that Farokh has been using Rug Radio for his own financial gain and not sharing his profits with the Rug Radio community, Farokh and Rug Radio have breached their Fiduciary Duty to Rug Radio NFT holders and are therefore responsible for the losses that the majority of Rug Radio NFT holders has garnered. Farokh has significantly benefitted from the Rug Radio platform, and the following section exposes a secret wallet that he uses to try an d mask much of these gains. The Secret Wallet Farokh has a secret Ethereum wallet (possibly multiple) that he has been using to collect promotional fees behind the back of the Rug Radio Community and sell NFTs he talks about on his Twitter. Although many people could say there is no way to prove this is Farokhs address, substantial evidence below proves why this address must belong to him. Most of these NFTs were transferred to this wallet and not bought. Being the founder of Rug Radio, it would only make sense that his secret address holds quite a bit of his own NFTs, having a substantial amount more than Farokh.eth does. Another thing to note is the sheer amount of Meebit Transactions on this wallet. Farokh has mentioned Meebits quite a bit on his Twitter over the past few months, and it seems he has created a process of purchasing Meebits on this address, tweeting bullish sentiment on the Meebits, and selling the Meebits in this wallet for profit. The Tweet below is from March 11th at 12:43 PM and is Farokh holding a bullish sentiment on the Meebits. This should 100% be considered a form of profiting off of the Rug Radio Platform. He minted 12 of these NFTs and then decided to host a space for them knowing that the exposure it would get to the Rug Radio community would make the floor price grow. The profit that he made from selling these NFTs should be given back to the Rug Radio community. Although one could argue that Farokh promoted this drop on the Rug Radio platform because he is friends with Fewocious, it is STILL a very biased decision. However, there is no clear-cut evidence that he profited from this collection through his main wallet, as we know from secret wallet 0x1d683773 he has kept his other profits hidden. Regardless, there is a community that was told they would have control of the narrative and the content they consume, but the reality is that Farokh is in control with his own financial gain as the catalyst for his decisions. Farokh is promoting the Twitter Space for FriendsWithYou’s Friendsies collection Yet again, Farokh chose a project he was vested in promoting on the Rug Radio Platform. Partnering with Christie’s, the Friendlies AI collection allowed people to mint a building pass and be part of an NFT character builder, with those paying more at the beginning of the dutch auction to be at the “Front of the line” to get the rarer traits as well as those who minted a golden cloud key in their last drop (Which Farokh had done). This alone should have been disclosed to the community if he is going to be promoting a collection like this on the Rug Radio platform. All the community wants is to be able to actually have control of the content that they consume as the platform was marketed towards them to be that way.
