Beginning three years ago, our pioneering concept of 'social wallets' melded social functionalities within a unified wallet interface, moving web3 closer to being an integral part of everyday life.

Raising the Standard: User Experience

The launch of the first social wallet encompassed fostering a network of over 50 university blockchain clubs within 6 months. As we engaged, iterated and gathered valuable feedback, we quickly realized the strong need of elevating user experience standards in web3, especially for the crypto-curious looking to enter the space.

Account Abstraction: The Path to Wide Adoption

Our pursuit of enhanced usability led us to explore account abstraction, aiming to make social wallets ‘smarter’, more intuitive and useful, thereby increasing their adoption. Engaging with industry leaders like EF’s Tom Teman at EthCC and Vitalik during DevConnect has been pivotal in refining our strategy.

In the process, we partnered with Linea (ConsenSys), sharing the common goal of advancing social utility and user experience. Alongside key players, Pimlico and Web3 Analytic, we brought account abstraction to Linea.

The Milestone: Launching Timeless X

Despite facing and overcoming numerous challenges around synchronization with various ecosystem dApps to ensure compatibility standards (we weren’t the only ones), our collective efforts led to the successful readiness of the ecosystem.

Ultimately, Timeless X launched as the official wallet for Linea’s DeFi Voyage campaign's Account Abstraction segment on December 15.

This campaign attracted nearly a quarter million participants in five days, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing quest for wide adoption.

While this achievement is noteworthy and in parallel with the Father of Etherum’s latest insights on account abstraction, we recognize the long road ahead.

What’s next in the coming months?

• Expand social functionalities within our unified wallet interface

• Advance account abstraction through partnerships with key ecosystem players

• Work with dApps and platforms to establish and support account abstraction standards, benefiting both wallets and the broader ecosystem.
