The international flights got cancelled a lot and the price is exceptionally high. Although I have a feeling that I may not be able to return in months or even a year and I also sold my car just in case I could not get back in time, my friends in the US were optimistic about my return and they send me off as before. But I comfort myself that even though I am away with my friends, I can stay with my parents and grandma anytime I want since the domestic flights in China were open in 2020. And it is true that I get to fly to the city my parents live and the city my grandma lives free with a high price. But things change when the Covid-19 cases raise in China. Now, May 2022, I am stuck in Beijing without a chance to get on any plane to anywhere. I will come into how things change in detail later with words and pictures taken in real life.

"It's sunny when you are safe"- a strip of paper used for sealing my bedroom when I return to my home from Beijing, where there are existing Covid-19 cases.
