We all know that previously used faucets for Polygon such as Matic.supply are no longer usable and functional. In this short post, I will share to you two working methods on how to get free $MATIC for your transactions.

Polygon Faucet by Mov3r

This faucet was created by the team behind Mov3r to help users so that they can claim their Mov3r IDO Pass NFT for free. But since it is available to the public, you can use it for your small transactions should you ran out of gas. The website gives 0.007 MATIC per claim and that’s enough for a couple of transactions in the network. Each user can only claim once every 12 hours.

Unitap.app Multichain Faucet

The good thing about this faucet is that it supports a variety of networks. This supports Polygon/MATIC, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Gnosis, Fantom, and more.

In order to use this faucet, you should have a verified BrightID profile. BrightID is an authentication that serves as your social identity online in BrightID-supported apps. To get verified, you must attend an online meetup through Zoom where your identity will be verified by someone from the Team. Don’t worry, because the online meetup is not recorded and you can just turn on your camera if it’s your turn to verify that you are a person and not a bot.
