This is the beginning of your self improvement journey.  </p><p> </p><p>Let’s dive in.  </p><p> </p><p>Eight Strategies that Will Help You Be More Productive and Time Efficient </p><p>Here are eight productivity tips that will help you be more productive when it comes to your daily activities:  </p><p> </p><p>1.	Plan Ahead  </p><p></p><p>Before the end of each day, sit for 10 or 20 minutes on your desk and plan out the next day. If you do this, when you wake up the following morning, you already know all the things that you have to do for that day. It is definitely better than going in without having any plans.  </p><p>Furthermore, as Benjamin Franklin said, those who fail to plan, plan to fail. He said that because, without proper planning, your activities will seem overwhelming. That will lead to confusion and you end up unable to achieve anything for that day.  </p><p>How can you plan ahead? Write out the things that you need to do for that day, and assign a time to them in order of priority. Which leads us to the second point.  </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>2.	Set Priorities </p><p></p><p>How do you prioritize your tasks? Firstly, keep in mind that every task you have outlined for the day is important. However, some are more urgent than the others.  </p><p>For instance, there are tasks that helps with self-improvement, like, reading, writing and exercising. Meanwhile, you have other tasks that will provide money for you.  </p><p>Obviously both tasks are very important. However, as important as self-improvement is, you need money to pay your bills. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t read or exercise; it just means that when you should first complete tasks that generate income before focusing on other activities.  </p><p>Also, sometimes you can prioritize your tasks by first doing the ones that are difficult for you and leaving the easy ones for later.  </p><p>If you procrastinate the harder and more important tasks, you might end up not doing them at all. If you want to get things done, the most effective way is to just get them done. It is called the five second rule.  </p><p>How does this work? When you have a task and you feel like you can’t do it, just count in your head from 1 – 5. You just need to know how to manage them.  </p><p>For instance, always let people know that you do not appreciate unexpected visits. So set boundaries and make sure that they adhere to those boundaries.  </p><p>Furthermore, as for activities like social media scrolling and gaming, you need some self discipline. Remove Distractions  </p><p></p><p>If you have to focus on a task, it is always good to take away anything that can distract you. For instance, your phone; so you do not keep going through it or answering calls.  </p><p>Also, stay away from the rooms that have TVs. If it’s possible, pack up your games and keep them in a box till you are done. Stay away from Netflix, Instagram or other social media platforms that have reels.  </p><p>7.	Avoid Multitasking  </p><p></p><p>Multitasking is a myth. It doesn’t work. When you multitask, you end up wasting more time than you expected.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you know the feeling you get when you drink hot coffee on a winter’s morning?</p><p>Well, for the past 3 weeks that I have been working at the local Christmas tree shop, I learned to appreciate that feeling.</p><p>It had been snowing heavily since November and I was definitely not happy about having to work all day.</p><p>My body aches. But I need the money to pay for my last semester in school next year.</p><p>Surprisingly, through this hard time, drinking Jo’s hot coffee every morning is what has been keeping me alive. It is definitely the best coffee in town.</p><p>The event that occurred on the 23rd of December was tragic. But you have to be strong. On my way to work, I stopped by Jo’s to get my regular coffee latte to go.</p><p>The whole place was crowded as usual, but Jo and I have an agreement so I just walked over to the back.</p><p>I got my coffee, and I was on my way out, headed to work. On my way out of the coffee shop, I see my high school crush, Betty.</p><p>She looked even more beautiful than I remember. Blonde hair, green eyes, beautiful red lips, petite with a killer smile.</p><p>I wanted to talk to her, but obviously , my fear wouldn’t let me. I made an attempt though, but as I got close to her and smelled her perfume, I chickened out and just headed out to work.</p><p>On my way, I kept thinking why didn’t I just talk to her? Why didn’t I just say hi. Get a number or something. At this point, I didn’t know when I wandered into the road and an out of control car hit me.</p><p>Even in that moment when I fell to the ground and even as I felt myself losing consciousness; I kept asking myself “why I didn’t just speak to Betty?”</p><p>People gathered around me, the ambulance came, and even while my eyes were still open and I was still conscious, I saw Betty in the crowd looking down at me. I think she recognized me. I don’t know.</p><p>Sadly, I didn’t make it. And I am here, sitting by the side of your bed, narrating the whole event. As I watch you cry, I feel pain inside of me. Who knew love continued even in death?</p><p>Mom, I know you can’t see or hear me. She nervously took the keys out and opened the door.</p><p>As she swung the door open, it made a creaking sound until it was wide open. Now, she was even more scared than she was before. But there was no where else to go. So she looked inside.</p><p>To her horror, she saw her father laying dead on the ground.</p><p>She couldn’t believe it. She burst into tears. This is strange. How can this be? Not too long ago, she welcomed her dad home from work. Why is he laying dead here? Also, where the fuck is this place?</p><p>She had so many questions. And to make things worse, she couldn’t find a way out of this hell hole.</p><p>So she sat still and tried to calm herself. She tried breathing normally, but her cries were too loud.</p><p>All of a sudden, she heard a loud thump. Scared, she ran towards the entrance of the house. Then she saw a man wearing a weird mask.</p><p>Now what does she do? She tries running down the stairs, however, she fell and hit her head. So she passed out.</p><p>After a few seconds, she kept hearing her name. There was also a bright light shining on her eyes. Ignore the light, the voice calling her is her father’s. It sounds like he is close by.</p><p>So, she opened her eyes and her dad was right in front of her. Turns out, he has been trying to wake her. She was having a nightmare and screaming. So he ran to the room to wake her. She hugged her dad very tight.</p><p>He was confused, so he asked her if she was okay, she replied, “I am fine, I am just glad you are okay.” He helped her out of bed, she got ready for school while he got ready for work.</p><p>He drove her to school, and zoomed off to work.&nbsp;</p>]]></content:encoded>
