As our name suggests, though we are a chain-agnostic protocol, we believe Hyperliquid to be the just and equitable house of all finance. Hyperliquid and other decentralized exchanges built atop their proprietary L1s are an excellent step towards transparency and equity of access. But without a unifying, resilient cultural layer there is always the risk of succumbing to the siren's song of Moloch and a better-funded farm elsewhere. A cultural layer or place of worship for Hyperliquid, then, seems not just inevitable but necessary to retaining a sustainable moat against potentially better-funded, deeper-pocketed entities looking to eat into the DEX marketshare.

Graveyards were the first churches. A significant portion of popular Christian practice involved gatherings at martyrs’ tombs where meals, libations, and communal remembrances of the dead were held. Bishops and “official” Christian leaders often lamented or tried to reform these banquets in cemeteries or the incorporation of local heroes and martyrs in ways that challenged clerical control. But what could they do? If the cathedral halls of the institutional, elite churches were headed by centralized powers, then the other, everyday form of Christianity lived by common people had no leaders and existed as a decentralized network of secretive, moonlit gatherings in the last place anyone might look for them- surrounded by the corpses of those who didn't make it.

Our first "graveyard", or community altar of worship, is an Omamori storefront:

1. All Omamori sales are "burnt" to the Assistance Fund.

2. All Omamori secondary sale royalties are retained to build additional burn mechanisms on top of the existing graveyard.

3. We plan to reward the Saints, Pilgrims, and Martyrs of $HYPE as this graveyard matures and gains devotees.

We invite others to build graveyards (NFT burn 2 mint + secondary sale royalties > games) using the lore and mechanics of their choosing on the chains of their choice.
