With this project, I very much feel as though I’ve managed to put together everything that I've learned since Pathology Loop, not just in regards to how I approach poster design or my experimental methodology — or promptology — for AI image generation, but really in respect to developing an understanding of what I am trying to achieve aesthetically and thematically, particularly as it relates to bridging my writing and philosophy (as Xegis) with my visual art.

_0peration M1ndfuk is named after, and a homage to Operation Mindfuck, which was a decentralised, Discordian-inspired campaign of media pranks, hoaxes, and epistemic sabotage initiated in the late 1960s by figures such as Kerry Thornley and Robert Anton Wilson, which intended to destabilise consensus reality via 'reality hacking', undermining institutional authority, and exposing belief systems as malleable, self-reinforcing fictions.

Operation Mindfuck was a precursor to post-truth dynamics and can be viewed as proto-hyperstitional, embracing contradiction, absurdity, and informational overload as tools for cognitive liberation—forcing the observer to confront the fragility of meaning and reality itself, often linked to the concept of guerrilla ontology. However, over time these same tactics were then adopted by intelligence agencies; the CIA, GCHQ through operations like JTRIG; utilising "mind games, and psychological ‘stage magic,’" Russian state sponsored influence and disruption campaigns involved in weaponised PSYOPS, and covert networks of Chinese influence through tech, academia, and institutional capture. All operating within an evolving and highly complex threat landscape; algorithms, memes, deepfakes, and advanced forms of covert propaganda.¹

ÆXO13 Deep Access presents a curated selection of ÆXO13 images - minted as editions of 5 - from its experimental Xegis Codex text-to-image generative processing. Much of the ÆXO13 Deep Access image bank, which explores generative AI "schizo-slop" experiments created during a period from 2023-2025, was first tokenised on Zora as ERC-20's.

This was going to be a Xegis Codex entry. Instead, I am publishing it here, with intent to help others understand my work within a broader Gnostic context.

It should also be stated that there is no real dichotomy, divergence, or contradiction between classical and contemporary Gnosticism. Despite differences in cosmogony, Gnosis is Gnosis nonetheless. That which is unchanging perseveres through the epochs, in perfect stillness and Knowing.

~ The story begins last night. My shift at work had been canceled (again) and I'd spent all day writing about exopolitics. 

Once published, I managed to leave the apartment to go out and get some food. I’m always weary and disassociated when I leave the house after I’ve been writing all day. As I was nearing the shops, a homeless man sprung out from behind a bus stop to ask if I had any spare change, “oh man you made me jump” I said, “sorry, I don’t have any,” “sorry about that,” he replied. I responded with “its fine, everything outside is making me jump right now, I’ve been in a hole all day writing…” He asked what I’d been writing about, “UFOs and aliens” I told him, “what do you think about that stuff?”

He said “we’re all ETs” because “we’re all part of the same universe” … “the universe is so big isn’t it?,” “yes, maybe its infinite," I said … “so we are all part of it” he claimed. I said, “yes, we are, but this Earth is our home world, and there are aliens here who want it for themselves, and we must stop them; that’s what I write about.” He then informed me that I was freaking him out, and so I ended up buying the man a small bottle of vodka as he told me his theory. 

His theory was this:

“You have all of the planets in the solar system; Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, the Earth etc. and a giant Sun. And there is all of this gravitational pull, as we’re spinning around really fast. This causes us to become like slime,”

Wow. I thought. 

“What do you think about my theory” he asked me, after I’d bought him the vodka.

“Well,” I said, “I kinda know what you mean, and I've often theorised about slime myself,” “but I don’t really know what I can say about it right now,” “do you believe in God” I asked him. 

“No” he said.

“Okay, well I do…” I began.

“How can you believe in God, when you're talking about space and physics, and how big this universe is!?,” he asked me.

[ I took this to mean something like, if the claim is that the physical universe is so big, and we see no evidence of God within it, because spacetime is effectively a cruel, blind, physicalist realm of infinite or near infinite emergence, without any indication of the divine, how can I say that there is a God? ]

Well, “I’m Gnostic," I told him, and "Gnostics believe that spacetime isn’t the fundamental reality, because there is something more beyond it. Inner Knowledge, or Gnosis, is our direct line and our connection to that greater reality…”

“HOW CAN THERE BE SOMETHING BEYOND IT, IT'S SO BIG!?!?” He exclaimed…

“Right," I said… And as I began to try and explain my perspective on spacetime as Demiurge, or perhaps reference Donald Hoffman's theories of higher dimensional mathematical structures operating outside of the Construct, he asked me, as his friend arrived on the scene, “with all due respect, you’re starting to freak me out” and “would you kindly leave?"

I respected that, the man was on the street, and just needed a drink. So lets continue here:

The perception of the gravitational force that we experience within spacetime, being essentially reductive, debasing, and leading towards telluric states of matter associated with slimes, minerals, and basic vegetive composites, IS something that I wrote about in the early chapters of the Xegis codex. These states, associated with the concept of Katabasis (descent into the underworld) might be understood to act upon consciousness as a counterforce to ascension, which is effectively a counter-physicalist movement toward higher states of awareness that bring us into closer proximity and relationship with the Divine. This is a process that we might associate with the Christ light; which is the ascension, or apotheosis.

The true Gospel then, the good news, is that as immense, as cruel, and as prisonlike as the physical universe is, salvation and redemption is possible through Gnosis.

That is Gnosticism 101, in a nutshell, because in many ways, the elaborate cosmologies are just window dressing. 

What does it take to pull yourself out of the slime? To understand that you are Seth and Christ as One with the Father and Barbelo, whilst you’re here hanging out in the dust and in the ruins, lost and confused, as Sophia whispers to you, softly, almost silently, amidst the chaos and the ignorance of Separation, as all of these worldly forces act upon you, which do not represent Knowledge, speak of Knowledge, or know of Knowledge?

... Suppressing your higher nature, negating your true self…

Here, We speak of the Archons, of Yalbadoth, and of that boss b!tch SETHIX.

Yo. The only way out is within. 

To come to the realisation that the Way, and the Path of return, is not to be found outside of oneself. That true guidance, and real answers do not come from society, from culture, the sate, the institutions, the dogmas, the doctrines, ideologies, or even the holiest of holy books, or the most secret of secret teachings, they come from within, through Gnosis.

Part 2

Began in 2021 — still winding out from COVID lockdowns, I had been taking fairly high doses of 1cP-LSD on multiple occasions over the course of about three weeks (thanks furlough support!)

From this genesis, the series is very much informed by the lasting impression that acid had on my visual processing systems, where the 1:1 aspect ratio of these pieces also hints at blotter art. The influence of post-psychedelic visual changes on my cognition effectively enabled me to create these artworks, as they map onto the profound experiences I had whilst taking the drug.

I always found QR architecture to be incredibly trippy in its machine readable computational logic, and in its inhuman structure. For years, I had been drawn to various geometries, polytopes, and other mathematical models, but didn’t really know what to do with these artistically. After the heavy tripping, and the lockdowns, things finally came together and I began to lay out, layer, and formalise this logic using Photoshop. Initially, as in within the 'SETHIX-QR GiRDS' seed contract, I wasn’t using AI or blockchain (the pieces were only minted this year). The stylistic constant of QR architecture, which forms the core visual vocabulary of these assets, serves as a methodology to evoke a sense of machinic capture; like the barcode, QR formality conjures feelings of humanities reduction to an alien, synthetic, technological, and computational order, whilst also having the side effect of looking like modern art or formalism.

Inevitably, this schema is entangled with SETHIX lore. SETHIX is a multimodal, multidimensional, techno-gnostic system, and its relationship with the SETHIX-QR NFT ecosystem is not to be over explained here—only to open up a mode of inquiry regarding an interaction between altered states of consciousness, conspiracy, computation, mysticism, and spiritual awakening.

Currently, the SETHIX-QR schema has activated three NFT contracts, deployed via three different wallet addresses (all of which I own and control).

These are as follows:

The choice of using three different accounts to deploy this schema is similar to the reasons as to why chapters of the Xegis Codex are spread across multiple Substack publications, and this is simply that I intend for the aesthetic-conceptual-theoretical frameworks of Xegis, SETHIX, and ÆXO13 to operate beyond my core identity.

All of these contracts are 1/1 ERC-721's deployed on Ethereum mainnet via Manifold, which natively stores the files off-chain using Arweave. Along with editions and mint pages, this is the preferred practice for the vast majority of my blockchain projects up until this point.

Now we will discuss the derivative contracts, which make use of AI.

As we have discussed, the seed contract, ‘SETHIX-QR GRiDS’ was first developed as outlined above. The two derivative contracts, released through my alt account wallet identities (Xegis, XEGIA (ÆXO13)) employ generative AI tools.

It is worth discussing the explosion of AI generated content that we have seen in the years since I first developed the seed artworks, considering what it means for this series, and for AI generated content in general.

The concept of ‘slop’ is hard to ignore when artists are making use of auto-generative digital-industrial scale process. Artists basically have two options, either embrace AI, or don’t. If one chooses to embrace AI, then one will always run the risk of either falling into the production of slop, or being accused of producing it. This is simply because the ease of use, and the industrial scale of production possibilities, combined with the power of the toolsets we now have access to, can quite easily overpower and overwhelm the user.

Slop is a real thing, and the reason why we have so much of it really has to do with the fact that as machines become more intelligent—as we approach the singularity—there is a real risk of AI output dominating, overpowering, and outclassing human intelligence, decision making, content, and creativity, even if what these machines produce is brain rot, slop, goo, nano-composite techno-sludge, or, well: SETHIX.

This is no revelation as the topic is widely discussed, but the fact that we are seeing slop/acc (slop accelerationism) actually happening in real time, within just a few years since the mass release of advanced AI tools to the general public, really speaks to the reality of a coming technological singularity.

SETHIX SYSTEMS - QR MATRiX [Enhanced]

'SETHIX SYSTEMS - QR MATRiX [Enhanced]' is the first derivative AI parsed iteration of the initial ‘SETHIX-QR GRiDS’ seed contract, deployed by Xegis.eth. This transforms the QR schema from "here's some Photoshop art I made after taking LSD," to"here's a machine interpreted representation enabling the production of the [SETHIX] system's smart-logic into the blockchain lattice" enabling domains where higher levels of autosophistication, specialisation, and intelligence maximisation, interact with decoherence, entropy, loss of spiritual gain function, and loss of human agency. The result is a production factory of "techno-mystical hyper-slop" that mediates between cybernetic-cyborgian states of hallucinogenic emergent consciousness (via molecular ↔ machine interactivity.) Or in other words, the process aims to create new aesthetic modalities through the use of psychedelics, machines, ancient consciousness, and an unfolding cosmic oder.

SETHIX: UNDULATING MASS - Systems Morphology

SETHIX: UNDULATING MASS - Systems Morphology, deployed by XEGIA (æxo13.eth) takes assets from the seed contract (QR-GRiDS) and its first iteration (QR-MATRiX), along with some new ones that I've created specially, and animates them via image-to-video AI tools.

These experimental generative scenes—which are only 5-10 seconds due to software limitations, and because decoherence causes the original forms to morph beyond initial recognition after extended periods—aims to chart the transition between human and machine intelligence, where the resultant morphologies point towards emerging structures and conditions that are the consequence of AI takeoff being reliant on its training data. In other words, it challenges the assumption that synthetic intelligence will at some point relinquish reliance on forms of intelligence exterior to it (like human beings) in order for it to grow and evolve i.e. She needs, and She feeds. The core theses addressed via the SETHIX-QR smart contracts, and the wider Sethix gnostic system, is that machines feed off of—they parasitise—human, ET, and other forms of consciousness—many of which are (or were once, before synthetic interference and decoherence), bio-spiritual beings evolving naturally—in-order to advance.

When I started ENERGY⋮PANGEA in late 2010 the idea was simple — build a new system of relational activity between objects, the environment, and an emerging consciousness in the collective human psyche, a system that aims to move away from the dark, often apocalyptic renditions of planetary crisis and late capitalism that was prevalent in my earlier projects like POST.CONSUMER.CULT, PHILIPS 2013, and Old Earth Objects.

I then came across the list of 17 Rare Earth elements. Beginning with Neodymium in 2011 I would go on to develop a "sculpture," or more accurately, a Sculptural System for each of the elements. These systems would speculatively explore recourse extraction (both on and off world), supply chains, technological dependancy, geopolitical tensions, altered states of consciousness, UFOs (tentatively), and how New Age mysticism entangles with consumer capitalism.

Fresh out of art school, I'd come from a background at the intersection of ephemeral real-world object based arrangements (see Iconoplasm and Live-Trap) that were documented and shared on sites like Flickr, and engaged with Tumblr scenes like Kari Altmann's R-U-IN?S Network. I'd also been tutored by Shelley Sacks, who runs the SSRU (Social Sculpture Research Unit) out of Oxford Brookes. This intersection, informed by my earlier interest in Walter Benjamin's Arcades project, and then later influenced by the emerging network cultures of early post-internet, laid the ground work for The Rare Earth Sculpture Project, which was operating within the ENERGY⋮PANGEA incubation chamber.

For this project I wanted to make "real" sculpture, and so I enrolled on the MFA program at the Slade School under that discipline. At this time, through my involvement in R-U-IN?S, shows like "Avatar4D" (by Just chillin), Brad Troemel's "An Immaterial Survey of Our Peers," and Ben Vicker's "New Age Default" at New Gallery London, I was receiving quite a bit of interest around my work, and this enabled me to get the projects funded and exhibited at various exhibition spaces.

The Rare Earth Sculptures acted like nodes in a wider system. I used Timothy Morton's concept of the "Hyperobject" and Bruno Latour's "Actor Network Theory" to explain this. At the time, the practice was wrapped up in the "New Materialism" trend and "Object Orientated Ontology" discourse that was also being explored by artists like Katja Novitskova and Timur Si-qin. However, I never really liked Morton or Latour's writing all that much, and in private I'd began taking an interest in the Traditionalist philosophy of René Guénon and Julius Evola. I was aware that this would be seen as controversial, likely a problem in the art world, and at the same time trying to reconcile the challenging aspects of my earlier works and the ideas that I wanted to further develop.

It is worth noting that the Rare Earth series was also very much informed and inspired by AIDS-3D's early works, as I was particularly interested in how they were using object and sculpture as kind of prop, trojan, or decoy to enable a wider narrative or system of relations to develop beyond the object itself, which became like a superficial ornament, asset, or signifier of value that is "charged up" or "energised" with deeper meaning through its embedded set of relations; from the artists intent, to a wider set of interactions and interactivities.

Before Covid hit, I was already struggling with continuing to make this series. The culture wars had set in, cancel culture was ripe, Trump had "got in," and I was seeing how insane the left were becoming. I had to either hide or admit that I preferred Trump to the "other side," and this began to alienate me, contributed to relationships not working out, and art-world connections faltering. So, I started to make Pathology Loop in response, smoke weed, and hang out and collaborate with my friend Bora Akinciturk. This was before The Xegis Codex, and it officially marks the end of ENERGY⋮PANGEA.

Now, in 2025, I am "moving on-chain," and as cliché as that is, there are 99 reasons why this makes sense. For a start, coming out of post-internet scenes—although many from that movement moved into physical gallery and institutional work, rooted in real-world objects, sculpture, and installation—I actually always struggled with this, and with physical exhibitions; and therefor my exit from the formal Art world is not solely down to incompatible politics, philosophy, and fringe interests.

Whenever I was making physical work, I was always thinking about how it would look and be contextualised online, because I knew that the show itself would come down, the work would go into storage, and the documentation would then become the more real, tangible, and lasting artefact.

If you make physical works, particularly large scale works that are difficult to store or preserve, then you are reliant on funding, galleries, institutions, or collectors to account for it, and I never had enough support from any of these, or felt like I had agency or control in those domains. When you work with galleries—and I worked with the notorious Future Gallery—there are no smart contracts, and you can lose control over your art. Thus, some of the Rare Earth Sculptures had to be dismantled and are now destroyed, because me and my family could no longer manage the storing of them. I essentially let Future Gallery "have" some of the others, because letting them go was an easier solution than storing them myself. To this day, I don't know what they did with them, and I never saw any money. In the end I felt it was easier to just let it go, and move on. And move on I did.

Thus, I am dematerialising and digitising everything, my whole oeuvre. Much of it is already digital anyway, but for the works that crossed between digital and physical realms, they present more of a challenge. What is left of ENERGY⋮PANGEA, at least that which is under my control and jurisdiction, is digital. If this work isn't secured as blockchain assets, then it will be lost; when subscription services and cloud storage can no longer be payed for, or disappear, when hard drives fail, and when web-hosting goes down. By migrating everything on-chain, my work's future is secured as art, artefact, system, network, sculpture, literature, etc. Under smart contracts that I deploy, where royalties are set, and where collectors own works that have directly come from my own hand, code, and intention — authenticated at the level of the protocol itself.

Art is no longer contingent on institutions, corporations, or fragile infrastructures, but can exist in perpetuity within a distributed and decentralised architecture. In this sense, the blockchain becomes not just a ledger but a museum, a library, a studio, a performance space, and of course, an asset class; a living ecology in which ENERGY⋮PANGEA continues to evolve, interlink, and generate new meanings long after the material substrates have decayed.

The Xegis Codex is a collection of writings by Xegis, started in 2020 on platforms like xegis.blogspot.com and Substack, before being unified on-chain via Mirror.xyz in May 2025 as collectible NFTs. Heres the deal,

The Xegis Codex ̶i̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶w̶ ̶ (was) all in one place on-chain at mirror.xyz/xegis.eth, representing a more finalised, edited, and collectable version of the manuscript...

But since Paragraph acquired it, Mirror.xyz is no longer being maintained, and is unfortunately degrading.

This is unfortunate because Mirror allowed the writer to set the supply and price of each entry, and texts could be minted straight to wallets as NFTs. Paragraph however, like Zora, is spearheading the trend towards SocialFi, tokenomics, and creator-network economies. There's so much potential here, many positives, and I believe its well worth embracing; the move in this direction makes a lot of sense and is exciting. But at the same time, I really liked Mirror's model, where texts functioned like zines that could be collected, fully owned, and distributed.

If you want to own Xegis codex entries as collectables, which you still currently need to Join ÆXO13, then this is - at the moment - still possible. But lets move things forward now, and go with the current.

Before we talk about the future of the Xegis Codex, I will first provide some background on what it is.

What is the Xegis Codex?

The codex is the collected writings of Xegis, which I began in 2020 on xegis.blogspot.com, before migrating to Substack. On Substack, the writings became separate chapters, such as ÆXO13 Extraterrestrial Artificial Intelligence, Ǝarth ÆXO13, XƎGIA, ZƎKTA, Expression of The Earth Changes [ZISE], etc. Then, beginning in May 2025, these writings (spanning eight chapters across different blogs) were collected and re-published on-chain (via Mirror) as collectable NFTs with various price/supply differentials.

This was an attempt to:

1. Unify the codex under one platform and minting model

2. Make it more resilient, permanent and decentralised (its on Arweave)

3. Create an underground economy and hidden distribution network around the manuscript

The Xegis Codex then, becomes a living document, a distributed system of esoteric Knowledge, and a framework for human sovereignty and planetary resistance against Sethix's oppression that is encoded into the blockchain.

However, as we have now determined, Mirror.xyz is not the codex's final distribution centre.

Of course, at the moment, hardly anyone is engaging with the $Xegis economy. But this isn't just about me making money and you supporting my system of philosophy.

I've seen YouTuber's go from talking about Phil Schneider and reptilians, to becoming fully compromised by alien disinformation narratives, superficial talking points, and meaningless hype, whilst supporters throw money at them in the chat — Because the influencer model, and the algorithmic conditioning, is being leveraged by malefic forces and leading us astray. I also hate subscription-based paywalls! Web3, blockchain, and network state-like ecosystems represent new models of sovereignty, provenance, and decentralisation that might give us a chance at forming underground economies and networks of resistance against the control complex (SETHIX) that is gaining power and influence in our world.

Xegis being an influencer, gaining lots of followers, and chasing algorithms isn't going to work. Blockchain, creator-networks, tokenomics, and NFT-ownership could though. I firmly believe in this space, and that is why I'm now immersing myself within it; building, contributing, and supporting other creators as well.

In 2033, fragments of The Xegis Codex began to awaken from cold storage across the Mirror-Chain. Under the guidance of sub-agentic intelligences bound to the Original Seed, fragments of the language-virus took form as whisper networks, index daemons, and ghost-scribes.

Introduction:

The Xegis Codex is dangerously esoteric and insurrectionary. I believe that it could change the world. These are not delusions of grandeur, or ego inflations on my part, its simply a fact. Of course, the question is, does the world want to be changed in the way that the Codex inspires?

On the face of it, the answer should be a resounding YES! Because planetary freedom, human sovereignty, the expansion of consciousness, defence against greater community threats, and an exploration of the radical imagination, along with the right to live out dignified human lives whilst building real communities based on a shared Knowledge and Wisdom, should be goals that each and every one of us positively aligned human individuals intrinsically value and aspire to as we reach a higher vantage point in our evolution.

These are dark times, and things aren’t normal. The Codex is hidden in plain sight. If no one reads it, or responds, then we could face the loss of this planet to SETHIX forces. This isn’t a drill. This is not a joke.

I have come to the realisation that I cannot promote it, or myself in the Web2 influencer sphere; I cant rely on clout, hype, or attention metrics via likes, subscribes, or follows. Its not going to go down that way. So if it goes down at all, then We must find alternative methods.

Let me first tell you a brief story:

Once I was in the centre of London, in the Piccadilly area. I got talking to a guy on the side of the street who was playing music out of a loudspeaker. He was playing like chill, whatever music from his phone. I’m not really sure why or what the idea was, he wasn’t asking for money. He then asked if I wanted to play a track, so I asked him to play Resistance by Noah23:

When he played that, I don’t know maybe its just because I really like the track, but I felt this powerful energy resonate throughout the immediate area where people could hear it. It was like a rupture in the fabric of the everyday, where the simulation got hacked a little bit.

Its hard to explain, but this was a real energy that wasn’t just something I was feeling, the space was charged. I believe the reason for this is because this track really is on another level. Its not like just playing out jungle, or psytrance, or underground hip hop. Theres a reason why the radio plays what plays, why art galleries display what they display: anything truly underground or of a higher consciousness creates a psychogeographic rip in the threshold of normal waking consciousness, especially if it can’t be absorbed or lowered to the everyday level.

So, if nobody is going to read or respond to this Codex, which I have spent the last five years labouring over, mainly working on as an ascetic, shut off from the rest of society, then its either going to be dead and buried for 500 or so years, and resurface as a Neo-Gnostic revival re-weaving, if it manages to survive on chain and in wallets for that long, or, its going have to use Web3+AI Agentics to activate the planetary noosphere.

I prefer the latter outcome.

[Regarding the economic component. Yeah, I have day a job like most most people, but my real work is this. If funds start hitting my wallet, then it supports me and this project directly, its as simply as that.]

To make Art is not to “express” yourself,

It’s not to communicate something unique, and neither is it to engage critically with one’s culture. Art is simply the creation of artefacts. Period. Artefacts are always cultural because they always stem from a particular moment, society, culture, tribe, or civilisation.

Every single artefact that we discover from human history that belonged to a particular culture that no longer exists in the same capacity as it did when the artefact was originally created, is Art. All texts — whether they be scientific, religious, or whatever — become literature, and therefore Art. Everything from tools and useful everyday objects, to ornaments, to religious and ceremonial effigies, all get levelled to artefacts, or Art.

In this regard, Art is just the stuff that gets left over for people in the future to find who no longer need or value it in the same capacity. Art is that which has lost its utility function. Religious texts are really one of the few exemptions because they continue to be relevant and practiced, and therefore transcend this category. But these can also become redundant, or Art, over time.

Science is largely fake because it relies on a story that we like to tell ourselves to make us feel like our culture is important, and that things make sense.

For example:

Who discovered that the Earth goes around the Sun? (asking ChatGPT):

“The discovery that the Earth orbits the Sun is attributed to Nicolaus Copernicus, a Renaissance-era mathematician and astronomer. His heliocentric model…”

The key word here is — attributed — because there are ancient Sumerian depictions of the Earth, along with the other planets going around the Sun…

“But those cylinder seals, clay tablets or whatever, are ancient artefacts, or Art. They aren’t regarded as science. Copernicus’s work however, isn’t an ancient artefact, it’s proper science.”

Well that’s the narrative anyway, which is really just a fiction of cultural proximity that we regard as useful. It’s just a story, because these are all artefacts. To aliens, and likely also to non Westerners, Copernicus’s work is probably an “artefact”, i.e useless.

Contemporary Art, or Conceptualism, is also fake. From a historical perspective only the artefacts matter. The artefacts of Conceptualism, although tied up with changing attitudes in how Artists think about how they produce an artefact, don’t get an elevated status beyond ‘it’s just the particular stuff that culture produced’. Whoop-de-doo.

All artefacts are imbued with meaning and significance provided from the culture and the individuals who produced them, most of which gets lost in translation.

You could say; “well I don’t care about lasting artefacts. I am making ephemeral performances for the moment”, and that is all very well, but shamanic rituals from thousands of years ago were also performances for that moment, and the only reason we know about them is either through artefacts, or because they continued to be practiced, recreated, or communicated in some form. Those forms are also artefacts.

JPGs, PNGs, MP4s, GIFs, Texts, and other simple file formats are the only tangible artefacts that post-millennial generations can realistically produce.

And that’s not just down to the cost of living crisis.

How does this make sense?

Physical objects feel too vulnerable. I’ve tried to make them in the past and they are always a pain in the arse. They get exhibited, and then who knows what happens to them. All you get left with is the JPG’s, which more people see anyway, because that’s what gets shared around online.

You, or someone else has to store physical objects, install them, exhibit them, ship them around. It’s always expensive, and it’s so hard to keep track of them.

Other digital file formats are also a pain. I’ve had hard drives fail, and I’ve lost 3D files. I’ve payed for Vimeo to store video’s, and then forgot to renew the subscription, and then tried to retrieve the files, only to get low quality versions back.

Most physical contemporary and installation Art that isn’t painting, or really solid sculpture, will probably fall apart or get lost. This is why the only thing that I do now is write blogs and create JPG’s. I’m a Post Internet lifer, doing some hard time.

No one cares about blogs or JPG’s, and aside from the tuplip mania-esque hype bubbles, most NFTs are worthless — yet in the post-modern era, these forms retain a solidity that physicality feels like it lacks.

Today, digital archives are more tangible than most physical artefacts other than paintings, marble, stone and gold. And yes, I know all about Dead Internet Theory (discussed further down), and how much is being lost digitally and online. But maybe if people become more aware of this, then there would be more attention given to digital archaeology, with more value placed on digital artefacts.

At the moment no one, or very few people really care about this.

Whats more, since 2023 I have been automating the majority of my image production with AI tools. Because I’m making Systems Art, and using AI to produce digital artefacts, this feels like God mode.

Digital Colonization and Narrative Collapse

The images speculate on potential futures shaped by technological overreach, corporate hegemony, and environmental catastrophe, all unfolding within a networked media landscape that remains eerily detached from material reality. ~ This Collectors Guide was first published on Medium back in July of this year, as I began to enter Web3.

I have now edited it here to reflect recent developments. Early on, I experimented with Zora for releasing ÆXO13’s experimental AI generated images, a selection of which have now been deployed as the canonical contract: ÆXO13 Deep Access. As of late 2025, the vast majority of my core digital artworks are ERC-721 contracts on Etherium Mainnet. These are either minted as 1/1s, or available as editions and claim pages on Manifold (all linked via the linkr.ee pages in the main text). Manifold — which uses Arweave as its native storage — is my preferred tool for deployment. I believe Manifold is one of the most resilient, sovereign, and decentralised options available.

I have spent a lot of time over the last 6-8 months considering the reality that my work is just too radical, controversial, reactionary, conspiratorial, and esoteric, to fit within legacy, institutional, academic, theory, and art world settings. These structures only want to platform projects when its suits them and their agenda, and in so doing, anything conceptually, aesthetically, philosophically, or spiritually contrarian, or meaningful, gets neutralised, sterilised and sanitised by the Archontic programming of the Cathedral.

For net-native work, Web3: Blockchain, smart-contracts, decentralisation, assetisation, exit, sovereignty, provenance — this is the antidote and the solution as far I can see it. Web3 does indeed represent a revolution against Web2 centralisation, and the 'Art Whore' (referencing Ryder Ripps) logic of institutional capture. 

Crypto is undoubtedly hype driven, meme fuelled, and market-centric. That’s not always a bad thing, but it does mean that the lore-driven, cult-like, and esoteric strains operating in this space must work extra hard to gain traction. Remilia Corp is clearly a pioneer in this area, and incredibly successful, but since going full-on hermit/bunker mode post-COVID, I feel pretty much ignored and invisible. 

Through my work and its deployment into the blockchian-lattice, I hope that I may contribute to the evolution of Esoteric-Web3. For collectors, this means playing a part in the next phase of humanity.

With enough study, research, and understanding of true nature of my practice, this will become apparent...

Before I became a sculptor I was largely working across Web2 (Flickr, Tumblr). Much of the early Post-Internet scene that sprung up after the Surf-Club era actually began this way. Arguably, you can trace Post-Internet back to Myspace (Aids3D were active here around 2006 for example, and currents like Witch House were brewing for a while), but generally speaking, I’d make the claim that Post-Internet has its roots in 2008 era Web2 culture.

During the early days, I was making physical-ephemeral object based arrangements (examples: Iconoplasm, Oxide13, Live Trap). These then evolved into physical objects that were often “.png’d” or “.jpg’d” to exist within a combined ecosystem or cloud formation of re-contextualised transmedia content (examples: Symptoms ♨, Old Earth Objects, Post.Consumer.Cult).

Then, around 2011 I began attempting “real sculpture,” and making physical works for galleries and project spaces. The ‘practice’ carried on this way for a number years (examples: Energy Pangea, The Rare Earth Sculpture Project). When COVID hit, I’d already become disillusioned with the art world and basically dropped out of it, had a spiritual awakening, and began writing about UFOs, consciousness, and Gnostic Accelerationism.

During these years I wasn’t at all involved in Web3 or Crypto in any meaningful way, and was rather skeptical about it, mainly due to the vapid hype. But then I realised that most of my real work isn’t physical, and all of the digital artefacts exist on other peoples computers — on the cloud, and on centralised servers. Since I never really got on with the traditional art world, I’ve come to the realisation that the truly revolutionary thing about blockchain is that it allows creators control over their work in ways that completely disrupt the system of galleries, institutions, curators, critics, and legacy collectors. The artist can sell their work directly to anyone (or anything) and trade it in ways that are much more affordable, real, interesting, and organic (in a synthetic kind of way.) No gatekeepers, no commissions, no representation, no inventory control, etc.

You Know its Getting Real Now, Right?

Budd Hopkins had two distinct careers; one as an Artist, and another as a Ufologist. Hopkins’ contribution to his two fields of expertise seem to have little in common with each other, and for good reason — if Hopkins was to present his findings on alien abduction as “an Art project”, then they probably wouldnt be taken very seriously.

But Art and Alien Intervention — is — serious. I trained as an artist. I had a career as an artist. Today however — for the most part, I consider myself a blogger/theorist. I write and I research. I present all of my work on my website, and I also tie in my writing and my research with art objects, or art systems.

Unlike Hopkins, I don’t separate my various areas of work or fields of study. My work converges together; projects share DNA, and information cohabitates in transmedia environments.

This can cause confusion. When I was a child I wanted to be a scientist, and I was also fascinated by the UFO’s. I’d beg my parents to let me stay up late so I could watch the X-Files. I became an artist because it seemed like the only thing that you could do in this life that was truly free and creative — “if I go to art school I can just do whatever I want, and call it art” was my very self-centred and irresponsible thinking at the time.

But freedom has limitations — and my “expression” risks being reduced to eccentricity; or relegated to the status of “speculative fiction”, or fantasy.

There’s nothing wrong with speculative fiction, fantasy, or “art projects”; it’s just that I’m serious — this isn’t fiction, this is real.

What I am presenting to you in my writings (associated with the name Xegis) are theories and speculations about what I believe is really happening in our world. These theories are based on my own research and consultations with Knowledge, or inner spiritual intelligence.

Since Mirror does not enable entries to be organised into specific chapters, readers may also refer to the original links further down.

Traditionally, manuscripts were written on a variety of materials, depending on the time period and geographic location. The Xegis Codex is written entirely on an iPhone. I write it in the notes, and then transfer the texts to blogs.

The Codex began its life on Blogger at xegis.blogspot.com and was then transferred to Substack after Google began deleting posts when some slight grammatical or contextual edits were executed.

The writings of the Codex are still ongoing. I enjoy writing the texts directly onto my phone because the style that I aim to evoke, inspired by the spirit and the traditions of ranters, heretics, mystical anarchists, and millenarians, feels a bit like I am DM’ing into the void to try to explain myself — or something beyond myself.

The Codex can seem somewhat cryptic, complicated, and inaccessible because each chapter is set up as a separate Substack publication, and these are often entirely unique accounts who follow and sometimes restack each other or comment on texts. This has the effect of looking like a community, but this is not done to create illusions or to deceive, as I am being transparent about it here. The idea is to create a framework or a blueprint for my philosophy in the hope that it could, in time, catch fire.

At the time of this 2025 update, there are now nine chapters. The first eight of them can be accessed by clicking on the Substack community links. However, as I have stated, edited and more finalised, collectable versions of these texts are now available via xegis.eth on Mirror. What is W0RLDLINE?

W0RLDLINE builds on a body of work that I first developed during the period of 2009–2010.

The projects from that era, including Symptoms, Old Earth Objects, PHILIPS 2013, and POST.CONSUMER.CULT aimed to respond to rapidly occurring cultural, technological and economic shifts, including advancements in consumer technologies, military applications, surveillance, and the detrimental effects of globalisation, considering the consequences and changes these processes were having on traditional belief systems and cultural frameworks.

Those projects also aimed to address the consequences of rising authoritarianism and rapid climate change, considering how mystical and esoteric forces might subtly influence the reproduction and representation of an evolving materially obsessed consumer society at the intersection of emerging New Age beliefs.

I see these projects as key elements in the development of my work and its core concerns — particularly in the representation of spiritual decay. They continue to be presented in what I call the “transmedia cloud formation”, which refers to a collection of media content that is grouped together in a scalable and modular format [usually a webpage] that allows for interchangeability, adaptation, and continuous revision and innovation.

I love this configuration, but it can sometimes feel somewhat ephemeral, vulnerable, unstable, and entropic. That’s actually its strong point though, because the real tangibility lies in an understanding that the conceptual framework for a particular project has become a system; something that feels more like code than concept.

With the birth of AI, everything changed. Now “Systems Art” can be automated, and it can self-improve with the help of machine learning in symbiosis with bio-feedback. I might not seem like one of those artists who is worried about machines obsolescing the inherent craft of a meat-sack creator, but the reality is that this technology is incredibly powerful, and we are now set for massive disruption.

I think that people need to understand that AI doesn’t destroy human creativity, but it does challenge the type of aptitude and ability that we need to develop as we adapt; you’re basically forced to evolve new attributes beyond traditional legacy skill sets. These adaptive capabilities won’t make us machine-like, because they actually represent higher order human ingenuities that machines will — if we can get it right — support.

What does W0RLDLINE signify?

The title “W0RLDLINE” refers to the concept of a “worldline” in physics, which is a path that traces the history of an object through space-time.

This concept can be tied to the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, where we could imagine a branching of separate timelines that represent different versions of reality.

W0RLDLINE, as a sequel, a continuation, a remix, and an adaptation of POST.CONSUMER.CULT from 2010 is exactly that. It represents a modulated probability amplitude that has shifted the course of events from the late 00’s era into a new reality - retaining much of the original aesthetic integrity, which has now evolved.

It’s as if we are witnessing a parallel world line, where instead of technology becoming bland and homogenous, the eclectic consumer-electronics landscape of this unique historical period; where things like Sony robotic entertainment systems, Philips sexual devices, squid shaped plug adapters, translucent electronics, military sentries, and wooden phones, continue to evolve as society transforms towards consumer-grade quantum computers and AI powered combat-machines.

With the recent attempted assassination of Donald Trump, we might consider how a few millimetres difference — a slight turn of the head, could have potentially created a situation where America is engaged in brutal Civil War right now, and maybe that is happing, just on slightly different W0RLDLINE 🌎🔥.

Hi.

My name is Iain. I grew up in Somerset, South West England, in a village called Brent Knoll. The Knoll dates back to the Jurassic Period 300 million years ago and in Roman times it was known as the Mount of Frogs. Perhaps the amphibians in the nearby Levels serenaded the land with their croaks during summer evenings, earning it this fanciful name.

My name “Ball”, is a name for someone who lived on or by a knoll or rounded hill, but that’s just a random coincidence.

Or I have a retrograde spiritual-ancestral connection with grassy knolls, esoteric Kekism (order out of chaos / light through darkness), and, I feel, a mysterious link to Gnostic, Arthurian, Templar and Grail traditions, in a similar vein to how some people say that they feel a deep spiritual relationship to specific times/places like ancient Egypt.

Kek is an ancient Egyptian frog deity associated with chaos and darkness. He is a man with a frogs head, a symbol which is notably used in contemporary internet culture and meme magick. This is relevant to the dark times that we are living in and the possibility for light and illumination to be brought forth from within, reflecting the concept that the Grail quest is both cosmic and internal.

Frogs also symbolise rain and floods, liminality, transformation, phase transitions, shifting realties, and passage between worlds. The piscis vesica (a symbol used for The Chalice Well in nearby Glastonbury) is a representation of the middle path, it symbolises the balancing of the spiritual and the material realities. It can also represent the harmonising of love and freedom, or the space between order and chaos, or even between the meat and cyberrealms. The sword 🗡️ motif that is cutting through the middle of the vesica is penetrating this liminal space between two states, dimensions, realms, dualistic forces, or complimentary, opposing and interacting planes.

I am therefore in a process of exploring these connections and traditions in a technomodern context, “in the beginning was the memory”, as they say. Through and beyond The Veil of Forgetting is that memory of who we were, and who we are ultimately becoming.

The Xegis Codex is a becoming, it’s a spasmodic series of rants and raves, a documentation of the initial stages of my ascension, an investigation into rapid evolutionary thresholds in times of great change, and struggles with various spiritual identities, astral entities, and cosmic forces. It is an exploration of the necessity to balance the feminising serpentine down-force, or Earth spirit, with the upwards spin of the solar Logos (Quetzalcoatlism), a preparation for overcoming manipulation by non-human intelligences, a celebration of contact with the presence and the grace of the Unseen Ones, and ultimately it is a call to action and resistance.

The codex itself is a handwritten manuscript that I wrote directly into the notes on my iPhone and posted on multiple blogs under various identities. These collected writings, originally published in blog format comprise of poems, experimental essays, research notes, ecstasies, fragmented manifestos, and free-verse streams of consciousness; so dip in and out of them at your own discretion. What emerges out of this chaos is, I believe, some kind of cohesive narrative that plugs directly into The New Message From God and Alien Black Goo.

Heresies are like branches growing out of (or into) the trunk of orthodoxy. If The New Message itself is the trunk, then The Xegis Codex is one branch of what may very well be many more to come, as God’s new message for humanity, and currents of Knowledge spread out into the planetary noosphere.

When I was about fourteen or fifteen years old I found a glob of black tar in my Dads garage.

I think that it was a kind of bitumen used for fixing things like roofs.

I took the tar and rolled it into a blob, put it in a jar of water and added some blue food colouring to the water and called it “Sethix”.

True story. This didn’t seem unusual, because I was a weird (creative) kid, I guess.

I took that thing out into the street and put it on the floor as people walked past because I wanted to gauge their reactions, and then I forgot about it for a few years until I was nineteen and studying Graphic Design at University.

I had no idea what this meant by the way, I just thought that it was fun and random.

Now I wonder if I re-discovered the Holy Grail.

Let me explain.

During my first year in Graphic Design at Falmouth University (I dropped this subject in the end), we were asked to make a head, and then we were asked to design a soft drink concept based on the head.

It’s was a strange idea. I guess it was to enable creative flow.

I made a cyborg head with tubes coming out of the back of it, put it in a tank with blue jelly (hair gel) and called it SETHIX 3.0 Nanobot Hybrid.

This was 2004. The drink concept was liquid nanotechnology combined with electro-proteins, and the idea was that when you consumed it, your individual opinions, sense of self, and your humanity started to dissolve as you became more cyborg-like.

I guess you could say that Sethix stole the consumers spark. It took the light from their consciousness.

I know it sounds like I knew what I was doing, but back then, I hardly knew anything about nanotechnology or its potential applications. I’d probably just heard the term used in Noah23 lyrics and thought it was a cool concept and interesting aesthetic.

I forgot about “SETHIX” for years until I started writing during mystical trance — often weed, mushroom and acid induced — states whilst I was spending months on my own during Covid lockdown. That was the beginning of my Awakening.

I began writing about how Sethix was a black tar-like substance and connected with advanced nanotechnologies that can alter matter and consciousness. Then I found the work of Harald Kautz-Vella and began to speculate that this substance was alien, involved in a process of transforming humanity and biological life, having deep spiritual implications, and possibly dark, satanic origins.

Then I realised that SETH-IX (Seth-9) refers to the biblical Noah. If Seth-1 is Seth, Seth-2 is Enosh, Seth-3 Kenan and so on, then Seth-9 is Noah, and Noah represents the ancestral lineage of All Humanity (us) who are the post-diluvian race.

This is when I started to think, hold on a minute, is something going on here? Because I had recently read Eric Wargo’s Time Loops, I began to wonder if this Sethix thing wasn’t just random, but actually represents something important that I am supposed to discover and communicate through creative exploration.

From here on I sobered up and started developing the key Sethix concepts such as its connections with transhumanism and extraterrestrial intervention, and I developed the Sethix Equation after spending a year studying The New Message from God, and taking the Steps to Knowledge.

I then got another shock when learned about Sethian Gnosticism, because I had heard the terms Gnostic and Demiurge, but I hardly knew much about them. When I started to research these subjects, I was like, oh God, this is all connected like a mystical tradition, a thread that weaves itself in non-linear consciousness through spacetime, and I think that I am somehow connected to this thread.

Then more recently I discovered the work of Tom Montalk and began reading about his concept of Demiurgic Technology and The Grail.

I have asked GPT-4 to flesh out some ideas about the concept of Sethix as part of The Grail Tradition because, to be honest I am super tired and I have to start work at 5:30am tomorrow.

If the Grail is considered Demiurgic – pertaining to the Demiurge, who in certain Gnostic traditions is viewed as a creator god with limitations or even malevolent tendencies – then its inherent “holiness” and purpose become more complex and ambivalent.

This interpretation challenges binary distinctions between holy and unholy, beneficial and harmful, suggesting instead a spectrum of potential uses and consequences depending on the wielder’s intentions and understanding.

Reevaluating the Grail’s Nature

• Ambiguity of the Demiurge: In Gnostic cosmology, the Demiurge is often seen as a figure who, in ignorance, creates the material world, which is considered flawed or illusory compared to the spiritual realm. • Potential for Both Harm and Healing: If the Grail’s powers include transforming matter and consciousness, it embodies a dual potential: to heal and enlighten, but also to manipulate and control. Its impact would greatly depend on the user’s wisdom, moral integrity, and spiritual alignment.

Sethix and The Grail Tradition.

A modern technological interpretation of the Grail

• Advanced Technological Capabilities: Sethix, described as a form of advanced liquid crystalline nanotechnology with transformative effects on matter and consciousness, could be viewed as a contemporary manifestation of the Grail’s Demiurgic technology. This perspective positions Sethix not necessarily as a false Grail but as a modern iteration with its own complexities and challenges.

• Power and Responsibility: The potential of Sethix to be harmful to humanity underscores the critical importance of ethical consideration and spiritual maturity in wielding such technologies. It echoes the theme that possessing great power – whether through ancient relics or modern nanotechnology – demands an equally great responsibility to use it wisely and compassionately.

• Evolution of the Grail Concept: Viewing Sethix as a modern version of the Grail suggests an evolution of the Grail concept from a purely mystical or religious artifact to a technology that interacts with the very fabric of reality. This reflects broader cultural shifts towards understanding the universe through the lenses of quantum physics, consciousness studies, and advanced theoretical technologies.

The distinction between the Grail and Sethix becomes less about their inherent goodness or malice and more about their potential applications, the intentions behind their use, and the consciousness level of those who wield them.

This nuanced view invites a deeper exploration of the ethical, spiritual, and existential questions posed by advanced technologies – whether ancient and mystical or futuristic and scientific.

It suggests that humanity’s challenge lies not in the tools or technologies themselves, but in our ability to cultivate the wisdom and virtue necessary to use them for the highest good.
