Send $300 right now. I need to take care of my daughter. She said on Telegram.

After you send the money, send also the screenshot of the transfer and your crypto wallet.

I replied to her, send a picture of you holding your passport. Only after that will I trust you and send the money. Video call me for 30 seconds to make sure it’s not a bot. She agreed. 2 minutes later, she blocked me on Telegram. I said thank you, God.

Check, don’t trust. This is one of the most ignored rules. The market forgives no one.

The FTX collapse was the best thing that happened in the crypto sector. These five pieces of advice that no one else follows will help you protect your own money. Or at least lose less money.

1 — They don’t know where their cryptocurrencies are located

Cheap currencies and fees are decisive criteria for most of us when choosing a crypto exchange.

As we can see from the FTX example, these selection criteria are now becoming a nightmare. If you are a smart investor, you should check where the legal headquarters of your brokerage company are located.

Deregulated tax havens, such as the Bahamas, where FTX was headquartered, tend to be avoided, while Europe should be the best option.

If you don’t want to rely on third parties, hardware wallets might be a good option for you.

2 — They are not using decentralized corporations

Centralized crypto exchanges carry the risk of a single point of failure.

Anyone who does not want to trust CEOs and security departments but rather the code or protocol, can be well served with DeFi (decentralized finance) platforms.

You should keep an eye on decentralized protocols as well. The most obvious ones are decentralized exchanges (DEX). Since the currencies are not stored there, there is not much money risk.

3 — They don’t know who the losers and winners are

Most people are currently suffering from this crypto winter. Two things are the most important in this crypto winter phase. Which brokerage company has enough liquid funds? And who has a business model that will survive in the long run?

Regulation is the missing piece to make the crypto industry more attractive. So it makes sense not only to look at the economic climate but also to keep an eye on licenses, ESG (Environmental, social, and governance) criteria, and how crypto exchanges manage customer funds.

You should go for better solutions and separate the rotten eggs. If you don’t do this, you will have to deal with painful losses.

4 — They don’t monitor closely

BlockFi went bankrupt because it depended of FTX.

The Solana Foundation also had big losses because of FTX’s collapse.

The foundation behind the Solana blockchain would have to write off a total of $180 million. It managed deposits through FTX and also held FTX’s own FTT token, the price of which has fallen completely. Solana’s price has also fallen.

It makes sense to evaluate who is dependent on whom. The investment bank Morgan Stanley has already published a list of companies that did business with FTX.

5- They don’t ask the right questions

Only in a crisis do you know who is who. This means that you have to watch closely which pieces are moving. And ask questions like:

Is this crypto exchange safe? See the screenshot of money reserves on the exchanges.

Does this crypto company do business with a company that has had troubles in the past?

How many active users, or has transaction volume dropped compared to competitors or compared to the previous year?

These questions can help you make the right decisions. Its volatility and price history can distract you from making the right decisions.

Upshot

It is difficult to see up close who is who. The deciding factor is the future viability of crypto projects.

Excessive marketing budgets and reward programs, as in Crypto dot com, are factors that will always push prices to the heights of that crypto company.

Stay tuned.

The market forgives no one

As always, invest only what you are willing to lose.

Join 800+ people who are getting free content on my Substack. It costs $0.

This article is for informational purposes only.

Today I will tell you about something that has been prepared for a very long time, and which can bring a very large amount of money for those who will not be stingy now and do everything in time, and I will start by telling you about the largest custodial wallet in the crypto community, and so meet everyone’s favorite Metamask.

And what does this fox have in store for us, you may ask? What if I told you that the biggest airdrop in history is planned for us?

I think a lot of people have heard about Metamask mentioning a possible token release, so where did these rumors come from? Now I will try to gather all the information I have and come to some conclusion.

What do we know? Let’s go in order:

MetaMask did not rule out the appearance of a non-custodial wallet with its own token. This was announced by Jacob Cantale, head of the project’s operations department, in an interview with Decrypt. But, he also said that the community should not expect to be well rewarded. Also this spring, Joseph Lubin, head of ConsenSys and co-founder of the second most capitalized cryptocurrency, hinted that his company’s non-custodial MetaMask wallet might have its own token: “Andrew, ConsenSys has thousands of tokens on its balance sheet. ConsenSys is strictly controlled by employees, which includes me. We are moving toward decentralizing several of our projects. When $MASK? Stay tuned.”

And finally, Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Consensys, recently confirmed rumors that there will be a $MASK token in the future

can not get away from me another factor, recently completed another round of investment in the project consensys, which in turn is closely related to Metamask, the general data on investments can be seen below:

ConsenSys financial indicators:

Total amount raised: $725 million Last round: $450 million — Series D Last round valuation: $7 billion Last Round Date: March 2022 Major investors: UBS, BlackRock, Morgan Chase, MasterCard, Coinbase, Microsoft, Softbank, HSBC 4. Impressive data, also can not forget about the innovations that have appeared recently in the wallet, namely the portfolio, where you can track the balance of several purses at once, as well as the bridge, which for me personally is a signal to use to get further drop.

Recent big news in the market has strengthened the position of Metamask main competitor in the wallet market, Trust wallet, which is under the wing of the largest CEX in the cryptocurrency world. The TWT token has more than doubled in the last month, which is also a good indicator for the latter.

So, summarizing the above, I come to the conclusion that the MASK token listing should take place, there are still questions about the rewards, but what can you expect from a top 1 wallet, who also gathered a large pool of investments, I think that just cannot be overlooked!

Now I will tell you what to do in order to avoid that terrible feeling that haunts all Kryptans — FOMO.

First, I would do token swaps in the metamask wallet itself, where to do it? see below

It is desirable to conduct them periodically to maintain activity in the wallet.

The next mandatory step is to use the bridge I mentioned earlier, I would advise transacting on all the networks presented, but keep in mind that Polygon, Avalanche, bep20 networks will require their native tokens for gas. Also what you need to know is that many of these networks will have a large transfer fee, I had up to $20

You can find a link to the bridge here

Donate via Gitcoin

ConsenSys has close ties with Gitcoin, high chance users here qualify for an airdrop.

In order to donate to the project, you must first register on GitHub, then go to Gitcoin itself

After that we are left with social tasks, the first of which is signing up for Infura, ConsenSys acquired Infura in 2019, also you may have heard recent news related to this company.

And finally, the last thing I would advise is to register on this site, it supports Metamask, but there are also social tasks, time reading posts, and you can also leave your own questions and suggestions to help the community.

Here’s an example of a post I left

That’s all, thank you for your attention, in this article I pointed out that I will do myself, and you think with your head, DYOR friends! I hope I was useful to someone.
