If listed successfully, “Yang Guofu” will be “the first share of Malatang”.

How much money can you make selling Malatang? We can see from the prospectus that the spicy hot business of “Yang Guofu” is relatively stable. Its revenue in 2019, 2020 and the first three quarters of 2021 were 1.18 billion yuan, 1.11 billion yuan and 1.16 billion yuan respectively, corresponding to a net profit of 180 million yuan, 170 million yuan and 200 million yuan.

According to the average customer price of Yang Guofu’s spicy hot dumpling disclosed in the prospectus of 29 yuan and 36 krypton, Yang Guofu sold 40 million bowls of spicy hot dumplings in nine months of 2021.

Further analysis of the prospectus shows that “Yang Guofu” is actually a raw material supply service provider. It has built its own factory in Sichuan, and “selling goods” to franchisees is its main business, and this part of the business accounts for 90% of the revenue.

In other words, “Yang Guofu” needs to run horses and enclosure constantly in order to obtain a stable source of income from franchisees.

For franchisees, opening spicy hot shops is one of the two problems. Yang Guofu’s Shanghai headquarters sent 15 employees to cooperate with the third-party management company to supervise the franchise restaurants, 9 were directly responsible for managing the franchise restaurants in Shanghai, Sichuan and other places, and only 8 employees were responsible for handling complaints and maintaining Yang Guofu’s on-site inspection platform “YGF store inspection system”.

In order to “stabilize” the third-party management company, the Yang Guofu family sold a little shares and “tied” them for 52 months.
