书的署名作者是Walter Isaacson和Jeff Bezos。

书的前半部分作者是Walter Isaacson。Walter Isaacson是我心目中最好的传记作者，之前写过达芬奇、爱因斯坦、乔布斯。

Walter Isaacson对Amazon历史的提炼，主要是五点：

• Focus on the long term

• Focus relentlessly and passionately on the customer

• Avoid PowerPoint and slide presentations

• Focus on the big decisions

• Hire the right people

挺期待Walter Isaacson将来写一本Jeff Bezos的传记。

书的后半部分收录了Jeff Bezos在23年里写的23封股东信。值得系统、反复深读。

王兴说“即使是今天，绝大多数人依然低估了贝佐斯”，并在S-team像素级对标Amazon。

关于Amazon的未来，相信Bezos是类似于乔布斯的造钟人，他辞任CEO后的Amazon还会持续发展，实现真正的USA=United of Amazon。

附：印象最深刻的三个细节

1、工作和生活不是平衡，是协调。以能量为中心，高质量的工作提升人的能量，高能量提升生活的质量，高质量的生活提升人的能量。以此形成良性的飞轮循环效应。反之，则是低能量的负循环效应。

2、心脑的分工与配合。Bezos说“不管在工作上还是在生活上，我做过的最好的决策，都是用心、用直觉、用本能作出的。而不是用分析作出的”。

3、Bezos把睡眠放在第一位，每天有8小时的睡眠。

• 在人的时长24小时不变的情况下，metaverse本质是提高人的效率，并有效的节约人的能耗。

• Metaverse是下一代网络，不仅仅是互联网，在虚拟世界里，重新构造了时空

  • 时间重新构造，比如时间和货币的结合组成了NFT

  • 空间的重新构造，互联网是在线，元宇宙是在场，这里没有分子，是数字构造，所以可编程，可穿越，可以虚拟分身

• Metaverse=不动互联网（vs 移动互联网）

• 未来重要的人和事情，仍然在物理世界处理，能耗较高；一般的人和事情，在虚拟世界处理，能耗较低

• 未来的有钱/闲人，不需要长时间带设备连接在虚拟世界，未来的穷人/干饭人需要长时间带设备连接在虚拟世界

• 架构

  • 互联网从Client/Server，到P2P，最终主流为类似CDN的节点模式（也类似于中国的中央-省市-社区的四级治理体系）。

  • 区块链也会走类似CDN的节点模式，在每一个分区有边缘计算服务区

• 挖矿：挖矿是一群不开心的工程师们，无奈设计出的世界财富分配的新方案

• 监管态度

  • 分布式利于监管，如购物记录集中于淘宝，快递信息集中于快递公司，银行卡信息集中于银行，而不是移动互联下的快递、银行卡、购物喜好均集中于淘宝。

  • 美国：拥抱。全球人口79亿，全球互联网用户46亿。从美国的角度，加密钱包在全球的渗透率，可以远远超过目前美元在全球的渗透率。

  • 中国：2010-2020的移动互联周期，数字化治理权利集中于大型互联网公司。监管在移动互联网周期的晚期阶段强力介入（反垄断），注定监管会在新一轮科技周期的开局阶段就强势

With human hours remaining the same 24 hours a day, the Metaverse is essentially about improving human efficiency and effectively saving human energy consumption.

The Metaverse is the next generation network, not just the Internet, which reconstructs time and space in the virtual world.

The reconfiguration of time, such as the combination of time and money to form the NFT.

The reconfiguration of space, the Internet is online, the metaverse is present, there are no molecules here, it is a digital construction, so it is programmable, traversable, and can be virtually bilocated

Metaverse = immobile Internet (vs. mobile Internet)

Important people and things in the future, still dealt with in the physical world, higher energy consumption; general people and things, dealt with in the virtual world, lower energy consumption

Future rich/idle people, don't need to connect in virtual world with devices for a long time, future poor/dry people need to connect in virtual world with devices for a long time

Architecture

Internet goes from Client/Server, to P2P, and eventually mainstreams to a node model similar to CDN (also similar to China's four-level governance system of central-provincial-municipal-community).

Blockchain will also take a node model similar to CDN, with edge computing service area in each partition

Mining: mining is a new scheme of world wealth distribution designed by a group of unhappy engineers who have no choice

Regulatory attitude

Distributed facilitate regulation, such as shopping records concentrated in Taobao, courier information concentrated in the courier company, bank card information concentrated in the bank, rather than mobile Internet under the courier, bank card, shopping preferences are concentrated in Taobao.

U.S.: Embrace. The global population is 7.9 billion, with 4.6 billion global Internet users. From the U.S. perspective, the global penetration of crypto wallets can far exceed the current global penetration of the U.S. dollar.

China: Digital governance rights are concentrated in large Internet companies during the 2010-2020 mobile Internet cycle. Regulation intervenes strongly at the late stage of the mobile internet cycle (anti-monopoly) and is destined to be strong at the beginning of the new tech cycle
