I joined the crypto space in 2017 right at the beginning of the last bull run, witnessed the "Hard Fork", the "ICO Boomer", "The China Ban", the "Crazy Bull" until the "Crash". I’ve been through all these excitements and desperations just like everyone else who entered the space around the same time.

After all these years, from bulls to bears, with ups and downs, there are several things that I found are really important to survive the crypto winter.

First of all, NEVER ALL IN. Both financially and mentally. The financial world is cruel, not to mention Crypto. When the crypto winter comes, setting some stables aside is always a good idea. Especially when financial crisis happens, you want to have enough cash for at least 2-3 years.

Secondly, BTFD, DON’T PANIC SELL. If you believe in the space, think long term. BTFD doesn’t necessarily mean you have to go all in when it dips. But when it happens, it’s usually a good time to build some positions on the projects that you believe in longer term. NEVER PANIC SELL, you’ll regret it.

Thirdly, LEARN AND BUIDL. DeFi, L1s/L2s, GameFi, NFTs, etc. Almost all the exiting things we fell in love this cycle was founded and built during the last crypto winter. You only see rainbow after the storm. Stay hungry stay foolish. If you are a developer, time to build it!

Fourthly, DON’T FALL IN LOVE WITH ALTS. Bitcoin will NEVER die, nor will Ethereum most likely. But ALTS can go to ZERO. If you look at the TOP 20 coins year over year, most of them are short lived. HODL probably isn’t the best strategy for most of the ALTS.

Last but not least, ENJOY YOUR LIFE. Life is short and life is long. "Max pain is the super cycle". Don’t ruin your life and don’t trap yourself in the rabbit hole. Go spend your valuable time with your loved ones and keep up the good mood. This will definitely help you survive the crypto winter and get yourself ready for the next bull run.

At the end, NFA but I hope you enjoyed reading this. I still believe we are early though. UP ONLY. LFG!
