Now, according to the latest patent released by Sony, this device also has some very bright functions.

On Friday, Sony released a patent for “locating touch through headgear”, which is based on the tactile sensor attached to the helmet. The patent does not take PSVR 2 as an example, but uses the first generation PSVR products for introduction.

According to the Patent Description, these tactile sensors can be used to measure the relationship between the player’s head and the object making sound in the game. The distance, frequency and specific audio data between the player and the target will be used to determine how tactile feedback will respond. Ideally, when you explore the vast open world, etc., this technology will be able to simulate the feeling of wind passing through your hair.

Another patent recently submitted by Sony shows that PSVR 2 will use gaze tracking to locate the HUD instead of the previously rumored head movement.

Compared with Xiaolong 8, the biggest upgrade of Xiaolong 8 plus is the adoption of TSMC 4nm process (Xiaolong 8 uses Samsung 4nm process).
