The second reason we’re doing this is it involves some personal gains to be collected here, which allows us to then use our staking pool to be able to perform all the transactions that we’re performing on our staking pool. With that out of the way, we’ll now get into some of the hardware and some of steps that we took to build a stake pool. One of the first things you need to do is build a set of nodes. Here, you should produce a main node, which is a producer node.

This is one of the nodes that is actually one of the producing blocks. So it will have your keys on them and this is a node that you’ll never want on the internet. What this means is that you shouldn’t put a public address on this node to prevent it from being publicly accessible, although it obviously has to be connected to the internet to be able to connect to the nodes.

This producer node will then connect to a relay node, or even a set of relay nodes. If there’s more than one relay node, then be aware that each of the relay node needs to have their own public IP address. We currently have two relay nodes.

The next piece that you need to have is an offline storage that contains your keys. This is a storage that you want to have what they call air gapped, or also known as offline cold storage. Air gapping is a term in security, where you have a machine that’s completely offline. This ensures that there’s no way it could ever be breached.

So what we’re doing for that is we’re using a Linux live USB drive, where we boot up the Linux live on it and use it to copy all of our keys and setup over to this Linux live distro that’s going to be run from a thumb drive. Then, we take this thumb drive and put it in a safe.

From there, you can build an intermediate server, which is going to be the one that actually is running haskell and doing the some of the smart contract work. This intermediate server will know to point directly to the set of nodes in a stake pool, so that all transactions that it processes will be processed through the stake pool. This will boost the reputation of a stake pool, as well as allows to charge the gas fees directly to you.

This is ultimately a great way to make an ulterior motive to running a stake pool, while still contributing back with a very high availability stake pool.

Now, let’s take a look at the hardware part for running a stake pool. In our case, we built out one very large VM. This comes with:

So this is all the hardware that we need in order to run our very own staking pool. As it’s pretty decent, we’re able to run a very high availability stake pool.

How to use sTWAP for intraday trading?

From my observation large institutions execute their TWAP bots during these timeframes: Daily, 6 hours (360), and 5 hours (310). Price claiming above TWAP levels and line, bullish. Price going below TWAP levels and lines bearish.

On the clean chart add sHL:

Now add intial balance (Opening candle of each session), I am using 10min chart.

Now add the Fixed Range Volume Profile:

Our setup is now complete. Based on the setups we are going to look for entries and form our bias.

At this point in time, what do I see going from the previous session (US) to the last session (ASIA)?

Let’s observe what happens on the next candle?

Let’s use our optional indicators (sTWAP and TD) to see what happened. If you are using tradingview pro, you can split the screen into 2 charts. One for main setup, other for secondary confluence.

Blue levels = Daily

Green = 360 (6 hours)

Black = 310 (5 hours)

This is all about my setup.

This might seem a lot to do. However, when you have trained your eyes and practised this setup time and time again, its as easy as it can get. I don’t even look at secondary setup if I am confident. This is what has given me my edge. You can use this setup to day trade any cryptocurrency, CFDs, Forex, or Stocks.

Some words on trading psychology:

Of course, I can flex that I grew my account to 10x with this strategy, and it has a win rate of 70%. But will you result be same as mine? No!

Two words define your trading performance: Fear and Hope

Even if this setup appears and you know this was about to happen, you won’t take the trade, because you are fearful.

If the trade goes against you, you will not close position, because you are hopeful, it’s going to going to bounce back (even though the story has changed). Instead you will average your losses, by adding to losers.

Also, if it goes up and retraces a little bit, you are fearful that it’s going to revert back and take away all your profit. Again fear! So you set your stop loss close to entry. What happens next, it takes your stop loss only to meet your target. Instead of adding to your position, you are thinking about moving your stop loss.

Trading result comes from emotional and individual trade management.

As a day trader, you need to have the discipline to sit on the desk everyday at the same time and watch each candle. I trade only 7 hours a day, starting from aftermarkets; all of them are scalp trades.

If I use 10 min chart I have to watch 42 candles, and if I use 5 min, I have to watch 84 candles. You think as a day trader, you have to stay on the chart 24/7 for scalping. No you don’t. By being disciplined about my time, I can enjoy the other things in life and trade with serenity.
