A Growing Ecosystem of Playable Experiences

The initial version of MammothOS launched with three core games — Mammoths, Mockey, and Tetris — each built to provide fast, accessible fun through a retro-inspired interface.

In the Incentivized Testnet, this library will expand. A new game, Stack’n Slots, will be introduced, offering a precision-based challenge focused on timing and reflexes. Inspired by the classic Stacker arcade format, it will bring a fresh layer of mechanical diversity to the platform.

By the time the testnet rolls out, at least six games are expected to be live, each offering unique gameplay loops and opportunities for strategic interaction.

Tusk (XP): A Progression System with Strategic Depth

At the heart of the upcoming testnet is a new progression system called Tusk (XP) — a metric designed to reflect not only a player’s activity, but also their performance and decision-making.

Players will earn Tusk by playing games, but in order for that Tusk to count, their results must be proven on-chain. This adds an important strategic layer: rather than submitting every play, participants will be encouraged to prove only their best performances — maximizing their Tusk earnings while managing limited resources.

To support this process:

Each wallet will receive a small allocation of TIA, the token used to verify results on-chain.

Players will be able to claim a daily faucet to maintain activity.

Each game will have a daily cap on the amount of Tusk that can be earned, encouraging exploration across different titles.

This system is designed to reward consistency, skill, and smart decision-making — not just volume of activity.

Daily Features and Continuous Updates

In addition to new games and progression mechanics, the testnet will introduce daily systems to promote ongoing engagement:

TIA Faucet: Test tokens will be claimable daily for on-chain actions.

Daily Chest: By logging in each day, players will be able to unlock randomized rewards — including additional Tusk.

Enhanced Game Interfaces: Visuals and interactions have been refined across the platform, with retro aesthetics preserved and overall UX improved.

Live Updates: Throughout the testnet, improvements and new features will be rolled out in response to community feedback and performance metrics.

Something to Look Forward To

As with every testnet, participation will matter.

The Incentivized Testnet will feature a public leaderboard system, allowing players to track their Tusk (XP) progression and compare their performance with others in real-time. This leaderboard is not just cosmetic — it will serve as an important signal for overall contribution, consistency, and skill throughout the testnet period.

While we’re not ready to share full details yet, players who engage thoughtfully, climb the ranks, and demonstrate on-chain activity may find that their efforts are recognized in ways we’ll reveal in time.

For now, we encourage the community to focus on learning the system, understanding the Tusk mechanics, and preparing to make the most of their time during the testnet period.

What’s Next

The Incentivized Testnet is coming soon.

We will announce the exact launch date and participation details shortly. In the meantime, we hope this overview helps clarify what this next phase will look like — and how it fits into the broader vision of MammothOS.

This is more than just a test — it’s a new way to think about games, performance, and on-chain interaction. We’re looking forward to seeing how our community navigates this next step, and as always, we’re building with your feedback at the core.

Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you for being part of the journey.

—
MammothOS Team
