April 15-21 is the 27th National Cancer Prevention and control publicity week. The theme of this publicity week is “healthy Chinese health home - care for life science and cancer prevention”. In order to improve the health awareness of the whole people, the people’s network launched a series of popular science manuscripts of the National Cancer publicity and prevention week. In this issue, Zhao Dan, deputy chief physician of Gynecology of Cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, was interviewed to publicize the knowledge related to the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer.

Accidental events in common infections

In recent years, the incidence rate and mortality rate of cervical cancer in China have been rising, showing a younger trend, which is a serious threat to women’s health.

Zhao Dan said that a large number of studies have shown that the continuous and chronic infection of high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) is closely related to the incidence of cervical cancer, among which HPV16 / 18 is most closely related to the incidence of cervical cancer. HPV is mostly transmitted through close skin and mucosal contact, of which about 70% - 90% of HPV infection can be naturally cleared through autoimmunity, about 10% - 30% of HPV infection will gradually develop into persistent infection, and only about 1% - 4% of HPV infection will develop into cervical precancerous lesions or even cervical cancer.

“HPV infection is like a ‘cold’ in the cervix, and the occurrence of cervical cancer is an accidental event in common infections.” Zhao Dan said.

Regular screening and timely vaccination of HPV vaccine

Generally speaking, the prevention of cervical cancer is divided into three levels. The primary prevention is etiological prevention. Through vaccination and other means, we can reduce the chance of HPV infection as much as possible and enhance the body’s immunity; Secondary prevention is to do a good job in screening and treatment of precancerous lesions; Tertiary prevention is to diagnose and treat patients with cervical cancer early. “Among them, immunization may be the most cost-effective preventive measure, which can not only protect women from more diseases, but also save medical resources and reduce economic costs to the greatest extent.” Zhao Dan said.

According to the recommendation of the World Health Organization, girls aged 9-14 are the primary target of HPV vaccination, because the younger the age, the better the immune response of the vaccine. Women aged 15-45 are the second priority population for vaccination. They should also be vaccinated as soon as possible to avoid HPV infection.

Do you need regular screening after HPV vaccination? Zhao Dan stressed that at present, the cervical cancer vaccines on the market are preventive vaccines against specific virus types. Although they have cross protection effect, a small number of cancer causing virus types are not covered. Therefore, regular physical examination is still essential after vaccination.

Strictly prevent sticking to the window period of canceration

“The occurrence and evolution of cervical cancer is a gradual process. It takes 8-10 years for cervical precancerous lesions to gradually evolve into cervical cancer. This period is an important window period. Through simple and effective intervention, the development of precancerous lesions into cervical cancer can be blocked in time.” Zhao Dan said.

The important window stage refers to the secondary prevention stage of cervical cancer, which can reduce or even eliminate advanced cervical cancer and reduce mortality by blocking the lesions in precancerous or early cancer.

In this regard, Zhao Dan said that the etiology of cervical cancer is clear, and the main symptoms are contact vaginal bleeding, irregular vaginal bleeding, abnormal vaginal discharge, postmenopausal vaginal bleeding, etc. attention should be paid to these symptoms, especially the high-risk groups of cervical cancer should seek medical treatment in time, conduct scientific inspection, make a clear diagnosis and eliminate cervical cancer.

“However, most of cervical precancerous lesions or early cervical cancer have no obvious clinical symptoms, and their early detection depends more on early screening. Therefore, we advocate that the majority of female compatriots actively participate in early screening, strictly prevent them from becoming cancerous.” Zhao Dan appealed.

Both models are expected to be equipped with a15 chip and 5g network support.

Gulmanman said Apple also plans to launch at least one new Mac this spring, but it is unclear whether it will appear at the spring launch. The new Mac may be a high-end mac mini, with the core computing power provided by M1 pro or M1 Max chip.

The 27 inch iMac, which is rumored to use Apple’s self-developed chip, is not expected to be released until August or September because it will use the next generation chip.

According to gulman, apple is launching at least four new Macs using the so-called “M2 chip”, including the new generation MacBook Air, the entry-level 13 inch MacBook Pro, the 24 inch IMAC and the entry-level Mac Mini.

Gulman believes Apple will remove the touch bar from the new entry-level macbook pro (for sure), and the laptop will not upgrade the display.
