They therefore have the potential to revolutionize the way data is collected, used and transacted with.

Why is that important? For example, you could not avail of a loan without showcasing your credit score or obtain health insurance without providing health information. Zero knowledge proof can help in such situations to obtain a loan by proving that you have a good credit score without disclosing it.

ZKP is the prover and credit report is the verifier -

Ali baba cave examples

ZKP class - https://academy.101blockchains.com/courses/zero-knowledge-proofs?_gl=1*srxfog*_ga*YW1wLV8xcHd4X3p2ZjhXOWtmR1pxbkl1dFE.

Zero-Knowledge tech and its iterations like ZK rollups will revolutionize the scalability and UX of crypto economies. StarkWare and ZKSync rightfully steal the show, but keep an eye on projects like Aleo that can unlock new types of crypto enabled applications.

Check out

Loopring, Immutable X, and dYdX are early adopters, but don’t expect their success to lead to a rush for ZK rollups just yet: they aren’t fully EVM compatible and require some customization to hop between the L1 and other L2s

StarkEx and zkSync.

The programmability gap will inevitably close between Optimistic and ZK rollups (StarkWare says its StarkNet is coming soon), but today the tradeoff is about simplicity and compatibility vs. settlement speed.

OPTIMISTIC NOW ZK later?

What is loopering https://loopring.org/#/

ZK Loopering

**

ZK rollups **

Zero-knowledge rollups are similar to optimistic rollups in that they post all transaction data onto the main chain. However, they use zero-knowledge succinct non-interactive arguments of knowledge (zk-SNARKs) to validate transactions. Once these validation proofs are completed and posted to the main chain, all the transactions included in them are considered final. The computational power required to generate these proofs by the Layer 2 nodes is higher than optimistic rollups as they are cryptographically intensive. Implementations with Ethereum compatible smart contract support are a subject of active research and development but some have made significant steps towards Ethereum compatibility.

It has also made a concentrated effort to focus on ZK technology as the long term scaling solution for the Polygon ecosystem. In August, Polygon’s merge with Hermez – an open source ZK Rollup scaling solution – was a step towards integrating ZK into the core Polygon ecosystem. The team also announced a $1B strategic fund to invest in ZK technology and revealed “Miden” an upcoming STARK-based rollup that will be EVM compatible.

** On a long-enough timeline, all crypto will converge to zero-knowledge crypto.

Ethereum plans to rely on a roster of Layer 2 execution platforms like Optimism, Arbitrum, StarkWare, and ZKSync. Ethereum competitors like Solana and Avalanche have developed formidable parallel DeFi layers and user bases. Cosmos has unlocked cross-chain communication, bringing its multi-chain IBC universe to life. And Polkadot’s parachain auctions have finally kicked off.**
<pre data-type="codeBlock" text="* **Vitalik and the Ethereum Core developers have come around to “rollup-centric design” for Ethereum scaling that looks most similar to the designs of Polkadot and Cosmos. ZK-rollups are lightning fast because they use something called validity proofs, making them instantly verifiable and eliminating the need for a liquidity-sucking challenge period. They have also made strides on becoming EVM-compatible, with StarkWare’s StarkNet and ZKSync 2.0 sporting built-in compilers to support the execution of smart contracts written in Solidity and Vyper. But these EVM-compatible solutions aren’t live yet. ZK-rollups to date have only supported a few discrete tasks like direct transfers and trading (like Loopring).**

Starkware does not have token but alchemy is on it and so is immutable X

Loopering is for payment

Not a company, but a person. The lunchroom lady that gave me Lebron James free food.. she has given more to the world than anyone will ever know.. Why can’t we add value to the name of a person? Why can’t we display our value in bringing a person up? We see a form of this social currency exchange in Instagram. But likes on Instagram are meaningless. They mean nothing. Fuck big data mindset tracking our likes.. this is not that. This is the opposite of that.

On Ups, you exchange ups, to level up your network and to ultimately level up yourself. Your Ups to give are finite to an extant (Cognitive science algorithm amount / based on the social value you provide / ups you give).

Each person has:

ups to give to the world (private)— Ups can be given out to the world manually (and maybe automatically?)

ups that where given to them from the world Public —- your up amount equates to your ability to build the world up and bring everyone around you up with you.

Wooo idk random - (Could it be all one number) could the goal to be to stay at 0) Also would like it better if it wasn’t a number but a special identifier - a map of your ups and color density th based on compounding ups.

Giving ups

How to choose who you give ups too? You can send someone an UP but only 1. When you give someone an Up Their up amount increases by 1 and your up decreases ( OR both ups are a single number so when you give 1 up, you lose .1)

The ups you just gave is cataloged numerically within the ups of the person you gave it too. You earn a new ups to give based on a percentage of the amount of ups the person you gave your ups to earns.

For instance. Matt give Ben one up so Matt looses .1 of his ups (or does he get an up for giving an up). The up Matt gave is Ben’s 10th up. This means when been have 100 ups, Matt will have earned xyz ups. Because abc

Should these be a way to lose ups? Well an up given is never really lost, but it’s effectiveness does grow weaker over time. There is a need to have compound ups. So basically you can

Why loose ups? Well ups after all do depreciate.. it’s possible for someone to come down..

Rate at which ups appreciate and accelerate accelerate momentum —— with whom it was given. You earn a % of your ups (golden ratio / Fibonacci sequence code) Convert this thought to fib - every time you help someone or every time you help someone or up the world.. you will eventually get it back 10x.

your up/you become a number. Every up past yours you earn .1 ups or somthing (cognitive science)

UI/UX Each person is Anonymous, you only see their up amount. You can only find someone by the map. You can directly up someone by tapping phones with the apps open.

Auto ups - Ups are given by location services and the positivity of that environment?!?! User generated ups / direct ups given and then also environment al ups.
