1. Type “Blend” within the search tab on Spotify. Then, tap “Invite” to select a friend you want to Blend with. 

2. Once your friend has accepted the invite, Spotify will generate your shared Blend playlist, which will include recommended songs that reflect your and your friend’s music preferences and tastes. You’ll even be able to see which songs were added for you and your friend.

3. After your friend has joined the listening party, you’ll each receive a custom share card that you can use to spread the word on social media. Then, your Blend will continue to update daily.

Last month, Microsft was testing the new default setting when it suddenly rolled back the update, “temporarily while we make some additional changes to enhance usability.” Despite saying it was temporary, many experts worried that Microsoft might not go through with changing the default setting, leaving systems vulnerable to attacks. Google Threat Analysis Group leader Shane Huntley tweeted, “Blocking Office macros would do infinitely more to actually defend against real threats than all the threat intel blog posts.”

Now the new default setting is rolling out, but with updated language to alert users and administrators what options they have when they try to open a file and it’s blocked. This only applies if Windows, using the NTFS file system, notes it as downloaded from the internet and not a network drive or site that admins have marked as safe, and it isn’t changing anything on other platforms like Mac, Office on Android / iOS, or Office on the web.

Based on our review of customer feedback, we’ve made updates to both our end user and our IT admin documentation to make clearer what options you have for different scenarios. For example, what to do if you have files on SharePoint or files on a network share. Please refer to the following documentation:

• For end users, A potentially dangerous macro has been blocked

• For IT admins, Macros from the internet will be blocked by default in Office

If you ever enabled or disabled the Block macros from running in Office files from the Internet policy, your organization will not be affected by this change.

While some people use the scripts to automate tasks, hackers have abused the feature with malicious macros for years, tricking people into downloading a file and running it to compromise their systems. Microsoft noted how administrators could use Group Policy settings in Office 2016 to block macros across their organization’s systems. Still, not everyone turned it on, and the attacks continued, allowing hackers to steal data or distribute ransomware.

Users who try to open files and are blocked will get a pop-up sending them to this page, explaining why they probably don’t need to open that document. It starts by running through several scenarios where someone might try to trick them into executing malware. If they really do need to see what’s inside the downloaded file, it goes on to explain ways to get access, which are all more complicated than what happened before, where users could usually enable macros by pressing one button in the warning banner.

The new Aliens game will star a battle-hardened veteran has a vendetta against the Xenomorphs, according to the game’s official website. Survios says its project will build on the studio’s “expertise in creating immersive and authentic gaming experiences.” The game is being built using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5.

20th Century Games and Survios say more details will be revealed at next week’s Comic-Con in San Diego, at the Alien: Expanding a Dark and Frightening Universe panel on July 21.

Beyond that, we don’t know much about the next big Aliens game, but it sounds like it could satisfy fans of 2014’s Alien: Isolation, the single-player survival horror game (that was similarly set between Alien and Aliens) from developer Creative Assembly. That studio is currently working on something very different: an over-the-top loot-driven shooter called Hyenas.

The new iPhone 14 line could hit the light of day on September 13th

That coincides with analysis that notes how Apple usually holds its new iPhone event during the first or second Tuesday in September. That would narrow down the unveiling to two dates, September 5th or September 6th. But every year in the states, the first Tuesday in September is preceded by Labor Day which falls on the first Monday of the month. Therefore, September 13th, iHacktu iLeaks' guesstimate, could be right.

Most likely pre-orders would begin the Friday after the event or September 16th with a possible release date of September 23rd. Sound good to you? We expect four models with the 5.4-inch iPhone mini replaced by the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus (or iPhone 14 Max). The remaining trio should include the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Inside, there’s a Leica Summicron 1:1.9-4.1 / 13-120 ASPH camera system that combines three rear cameras: a 50.3-megapixel main camera (23mm, f/1.9), along with the 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera (13mm, f/2.2) and the 48-megapixel periscopic camera (120mm, f/4.1). The Xiaomi 12S Ultra is now available for pre-ordering in China, ahead of retail launch on July 6th. The 12S Ultra starts at 5,999 yuan (around $900).

Leica has spread its bets over the years in mobile imaging partnerships. It has previously collaborated with Sharp, Huawei and Panasonic — Chinese phone makers are quick to pal up with renowned photography brands. In late 2020, Vivo joined forces with Zeiss, while Oppo and OnePlus released handsets jointly developed with Hasselblad.

The result has, broadly, meant better smartphone cameras from these companies looking to go toe-to-toe with the iPhones and Galaxy Ss of this world.

Apple is rumored to be working on Apple Silicon M2 Pro Mac mini, 14-inch MacBook Pro, and 16-inch MacBook Pro models — and also a Mac Pro tower equipped with a M2 Ultra and "M2 Extreme" chips.

Apple's WWDC keynote featured the unveiling of the M2 chip generation of Apple Silicon, as well as new models of the MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro using the chip. While the Mac mini was included in the first wave of M1 devices, its absence from M2 may not last too long.

The product roadmap for M2 Macs will include new Mac mini models sporting the latest generation of chip, according to Mark Gurman's "Power On" newsletter for Bloomberg. For the Mac mini, it will apparently be offered with M2 and M2 Pro chips, while the 14-inch MacBook Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro will have M2 Pro and M2 Max variants available.

The long-expected Mac Pro tower will also benefit from the new generation, including a version of the M2 Ultra and a new "M2 Extreme" chip option.

Following on from the M2 range, Gurman believes Apple will continue the cycle with M2, which will update the 13-inch MacBook Air once again, as well as introduce a 15-inch variant. A new iMac is also expected for M3, as well as an "early development" 12-inch notebook.
