Why Base?

Currently, Base is an untapped territory for decentralized applications (dapps), which solves many problems for DeFi users. As soon as our team saw the benefits that Base provides, we were motivated to launch a dapp on their network.

The potential of Base is hindered by the lack of foundational DeFi dapps. To further create an ecosystem on Base, it needs an active DEX for trading. DEXs are the core of blockchain ecosystems and DeFi, and dex platforms occupy a large proportion of ETH, which is largely missing for Base. Although many cross-chain protocols have announced their deployment on Base, this experience is not tailored to Base users.

Our team aims to fill this gap and become the first dex centered on Base.

What can Base do for token trading?

Base has a unique structure where block confirmation time is reduced and gas cost is lower when trades are made on the Base blockchain. This means faster trade confirmation and trade speed. Faster trades mean better arbitrage opportunities, less slippage, less or no frontrunning, better user experience, and the potential for more advanced trading applications.

What is the focus of MstarSwap?

Our goal is to be a trader-centric DEX while still maintaining a fun and easygoing feel. Our goal is to add trader-centric features such as trading charts, order history, and limit orders.

In addition to trader experience, our goal is to build DeFi for DeFi. This means a full on-chain DAO for MstarSwap contract governance, where the first one is the farming contract. The purpose is for almost no one to have separate control over the platform mechanism, and we will be the first native AMM DEX on the Base chain.

Before we achieve this, we will establish a Snapshot voting page where all decisions will be voted on by the community before implementation. Every aspect and direction of MstarSwap will be influenced by the community.
