Welcome home 🏡,

I've setup a SAFE wallet to act as a Treasury for the Native community, with an initial ⌂500,000,000 $NATIVE deposit. I will be splitting my fees from Clanker with the Treasury.

As of this writing, there is currently ⌂570,000,000 $NATIVE and 0.2 ETH in the Treasury.

In case you missed this news previously, it was announced in the Discord and via Telegram, as well as shared on Twitter and on Farcaster.

For transparency, I receive 40% of the 1% fees that @clanker collects (as it with any Clanker-based token). With each fee collection, I will be sending a portion of both ETH & NATIVE to the Treasury.

As the Treasury grows, we will be able to utilize those funds for partnerships, growth, and of course, to build a better Native product, which remains the focus.

For now, I'm the only signature but as the community grows, we will add additional signatories.

I have also asked the Clanker team to upgrade tokens to be ERC20Votes compatible, which would allow the token to be compatible with governance tools like Tally.

This "Native DAO", governed by $NATIVE, would easily facilitate proposals from the Native community to help steer the allocation of the Treasury. Long-term, I'd love to see this happen.

• First, I've been working on Native for a while already. At least a couple of weeks. Writing code and fine-tuning the design. Native is currently a one-man show, so I'm working nights and weekends (during the day, I'm the ceo/founder of Bunches, a social network for sports fans).

• Roughly 14 hours ago (as of this writing), I asked Clanker to launch $NATIVE. It did. He did? She did? Does Clanker have a gender? In any case, here's that cast:

• Suffice it to say, it took off. As of this writing, it's market cap is $2.2m. Of course, it's risen and fallen based on sentiment, but this is a long-term play for me. The demand has been great. Twitter, Farcaster, Interface. People really love trusted devs with ideas in this space, and $NATIVE's success is proof of that. Here's the Clanker page for it:

• I acquired native.fun (not cheap – it's a premium domain!) and dropped a landing page. Initially, it just linked to my Farcaster account, and then had a buy button which links to the Clanker page. Now? It houses an FAQ, a roadmap, and links to the Discord and Farcaster channel.

• I also updated the Dexscreener page for it. Also not cheap, but the $NATIVE community asked (and indirectly paid) for it. Check it out here on DexScreener.

• I've locked the vast majority (500,000,000) of my tokens in a Hedgey vesting schedule. 1 month cliff, vesting over the course of a year. I'm in it for the long-term, not looking to flip. Cast and onchain proof of vesting:

• From a product perspective, I'm really ironing out the Native Passport flow. It's in a good spot, but I'm really trying to make it as dope as possible. This is the first milestone: letting people claim their Native Passports. From there, it's about the Home-building experience. • I also want to continue the momentum for $NATIVE, and building a community of folks who don't just want to flip the token but want to help with the product and will be early adopters of Native. The ideal Native contributor is someone who is active on Farcaster, owns $NATIVE, and loves what they know so far from the FAQ and Roadmap. If that's you, I'd love to chat!

• Help build community: I'll need Discord mods, Twitter presence (The Alireza is doing a great job already here with @nativeonbase!), and eventually folks helping with Native content across the board (including this newsletter!). Do you run socials? Do you write well? I'll also caution you: I'm not going to fill these needs immediately, but I will fill them from the community from people who contribute, get the vision, and earn trust (ideally doxxed) from myself and others.

• Hold $NATIVE and be patient: It's not a token flip. It's not a financial asset. It's a belief in what we're building: a place to build a Home. I'm working on Native in my spare time. It's not my day job, and I'm not full-time on it.

• Be proactive: I love ideas of all shapes and sizes, and I'm active everywhere! Don't hesitate to ping me: the Native Discord or Farcaster is the best place.
