How can enterprise capabilities fit into everyday business operations? What should an open service marketplace offer? And what new applications could emerge when multiple AI Agents can collaborate, use services, and complete payments?

On September 9, 2026, NetX held its third Community Small Talk, inviting the community to discuss its enterprise development direction. From retail payments and cross-border settlement to PayFi, DeFi, and AgentCity, participants shared practical suggestions drawn from their work experience and everyday needs.

One theme ran throughout the discussion: services businesses can use, products users can experience, and network activity people can see.

Enterprise Applications Start with Reliable Payments

Payments came up repeatedly during the session. Community members wanted to see NetX’s capabilities applied to everyday retail, e-commerce, cross-border trade, and business-to-business settlement.

Their expectations covered the entire payment process. Could merchants accept stablecoins through their existing systems? Could payments be automatically matched to orders? Could refunds, fees, and settlement records be reconciled clearly? And when something goes wrong, could it be tracked and resolved?

One participant stressed that reliable settlement matters more than speed alone. Others working in logistics and online businesses described cross-border payments, invoice reconciliation, and managing funds across different platforms as recurring challenges.

On integration, several participants wanted services that connect with existing POS, ERP, accounting, and payment systems, reducing the effort required to adopt and maintain them. Security, stability, compliance support, and commercial data privacy were also repeatedly identified as prerequisites for enterprise adoption.

Community members also wanted to experience the products themselves. Completing a payment, using an application, and seeing the corresponding network records were concrete ways they hoped to assess NetX’s progress.

An Open Service Marketplace: Discovery, Trust, and Usability

When the conversation turned to an open Web3 service marketplace, the discussion expanded from which applications people wanted to how businesses and developers could use one another’s services.

Suggestions fell into several main categories:

• Payment and business tools: Stablecoin acceptance, wallet integration, cross-border payments, refunds, and automated reconciliation.

• Agent and developer services: Agent tools, enterprise APIs, models, data, and compute services that applications can integrate.

• Identity and security services: Provider verification, reputation records, and security checks for wallets, contracts, and transactions.

• Support for service transactions: Clear pricing, documentation, dependable support, and straightforward ways to use and pay for services.

One idea that attracted attention was enabling businesses to discover a service, verify its provider, use it, and pay for it within a single workflow. Developers could then combine existing capabilities to build applications around specific business needs.

Trust was central to this discussion. Who provides a service, how it is priced, whether it is reliable, and who handles problems all influence whether a business will adopt it.

PayFi and DeFi: Starting with Cash Flow Needs

During the financial services discussion, participants most often raised settlement times, cross-border costs, invoice processing, and the cash flow gap between receiving payments and covering expenses.

Views differed on where to start. Some members wanted to prioritise cross-border settlement. Others focused on automatically selecting payment routes and matching payments, fees, and refunds to orders. Another suggestion was to explore financing based on merchant sales revenue.

Automated payment splitting, receivables financing, and business treasury management also featured in the discussion. These ideas reflected practical operating needs: paying suppliers, replenishing inventory, and keeping a business running while waiting for customers or platforms to pay.

The discussion suggested a possible sequence worth evaluating: improve payments, settlement, and business records first, then explore financial services built on that data. Financing proposals would also require further work on data verification, risk assessment, and funding sources.

The session did not establish a single implementation order, but it helped clarify the business problems behind these different priorities.

AgentCity: Multiple Agents Working Together on a Business Task

The AgentCity discussion began with a question: if multiple Agents could work together to find services, handle payments, and complete tasks, what would participants want them to take care of first?

Payments, invoices, and procurement were again the main answers. Community members imagined a collaborative workflow:

1. One Agent finds services or suppliers based on a requirement and compares prices and terms.

2. Another checks provider reputation, transaction details, and delivery.

3. A payment Agent selects a payment route and completes settlement within its authorisation.

4. An accounting Agent matches payments to orders and invoices and organises the records.

Participants paid particular attention to spending limits, approved providers, and checks required before releasing funds. Some also suggested making settlement proofs verifiable on-chain while keeping commercial data private.

These details made the potential use of multi-Agent collaboration more concrete: a business sets the goals, permissions, and budget, while different Agents carry out their respective responsibilities within those boundaries.

The longer-term discussion explored transactions between Agents themselves. Could an Agent provide services, earn revenue, and then purchase capabilities from other Agents? Could billing, reputation, and financial relationships gradually develop between them?

The community also asked how Genesis Bundle model resources could participate in this process — for example, whether model owners could use those resources to support Agent services. These remain exploratory questions requiring further product definition, and they provide specific topics for future discussion.

The Developer Program: What Would People Keep Using?

In the final bonus round, we invited suggestions for a proposed Community Developer Program and asked participants to explain who would use their suggested applications and why they would return.

Ideas included stablecoin payment gateways, cross-border payment and invoice tools, an Agent service marketplace, Agent identity and reputation systems, and an Agent Payment Gateway that allows businesses to set budgets and payment rules. Developer bounty and escrow tools were also suggested.

Another concrete proposal was a network activity dashboard to help the community understand payments, service usage, and user participation. It reflected an expectation raised at the beginning of the session: greater clarity about actual usage and its connection to demand for NETX.

These suggestions offered several direct questions for evaluating applications: What problem does the application solve? Is it easy to use? Does it address a recurring business need? Can it generate observable network activity?

Everyone’s input is valuable. As the DAO prepares the Community Developer Program, it will evaluate these suggestions and consider which areas to invite developers to help build.

Cross-Chain Connectivity, Real-World Payments, and DAO-Led Development

In July, NetX Network began its phased rollout.

In August, development around the mainnet moved forward on several fronts. With the official launch of NetX Bridge, existing ecosystem features began migrating to the mainnet. Stablecoin payments were successfully tested at a Lawson store in Tokyo, while the SaaS payment solution entered the productization stage. 4. NetX Bridge Goes Live | August 24

NetX Bridge now connects BNB Smart Chain with the NetX Network mainnet.

During its initial stage, the bridge primarily allows developers to obtain small amounts of gas for deployment testing and application interactions. As the mainnet ecosystem continues to open up, bridge limits and supported use cases will be expanded.

The mainnet, block explorer, developer tools, and bridge are now live. AI Engineer, AI Model Bundle, ecosystem partner applications, agent services, AgentCity, and payment features will be integrated with the mainnet in the next stages.

5. Next Phase of Development Announced | August 27

Following the launch of NetX Bridge, mainnet development entered its next phase.

6. Successful Payment Trial at Lawson Gate City Ohsaki Atrium | August 17

Netstars successfully completed an in-store trial of Stablecoin Pay at the Lawson Gate City Ohsaki Atrium store in Tokyo.

The proof of concept connected Lawson’s existing POS system to StarPay, allowing customers to pay by scanning a QR code with MetaMask. The trial covered USDC, USDT, and JPYC, with transactions validated across Solana, Morph, and Polygon.

Payment confirmation took approximately five seconds from the initial scan. Store staff continued using the existing checkout process, with no need to rebuild or replace the current payment system.

7. Stablecoin Payments Move Toward a Standardized Service | August 19

Following successful on-site validation, the next priority is turning the payment solution into a market-ready product.

The multichain connectivity, payment confirmation, and merchant-system integration capabilities demonstrated during the trial will be developed into a configurable and reusable SaaS service. This will reduce the cost of building separate integrations for each enterprise or retailer.

8. Testnet Battle Begins | August 14

The Testnet Battle brought together two competing alliances:

• AI Agent Alliance

• Open Payment Alliance

To participate, community members joined the official Telegram group, claimed testnet tokens, completed a transaction on the NetX testnet, and submitted their transaction record. The alliance with the higher number of valid participating wallets won the battle.

Through this campaign, more community members gained hands-on experience using the faucet, transferring tokens, and interacting with the testnet.

9. Community Rewards Distributed Through NetX Network | August 13

Rewards from recent community campaigns were distributed directly to participants’ wallets on the NetX Network mainnet.

The launch of the new NetX website is more than just a brand refresh — it marks the beginning of the next decade for the NetX ecosystem.

During our Community Coffee Chat on June 5, we explored one of the most exciting topics in this new chapter: the future of the Agent Economy.

As the community continues to learn more about AI Models, AI Engineers, Agents, and the NETX activation mechanism, many members have been asking how these pieces fit together.

In this session, we shared the vision behind the NetX Agent Economy and explained how AI-powered Agents will create, work, and generate value within the ecosystem.

Here are some of the key highlights from the discussion:

1. What exactly are Agents and AI models?

In NetX, an Agent is more like a digital employee, while an AI model represents the skills that this employee has.

If you have an Agent but no model, the Agent cannot really do anything. If you have a model but no Agent, the model also cannot truly participate in work.

So the core logic of NetX in the future is actually very simple:
Different AI models will be loaded onto Agents, allowing Agents to participate in real work and create real value.

2. Where do these AI models come from?

In the NetX ecosystem, AI models mainly come from two sources.

The first type is NetX ecosystem-native AI models. These are the Genesis AI models that everyone currently sees, covering eight core capability models.

At the current stage, these models can be obtained through special benefits supported by the DAO Foundation. In the future, they may also be obtained through market purchases, community contribution campaigns, ecosystem rewards, and other channels.

The second type is externally integrated models. As long as a model meets NetX’s integration standards, it can be connected to the ecosystem.

In the future, more and more ecosystem partners will join, eventually forming an open AI capability marketplace.

In other words, NetX will not be a closed model system. It will be an open AI capability network. NetX’s own ecosystem models will provide foundational capabilities and early core capabilities, while external models will continuously expand the boundaries of what the entire ecosystem can do.

3. What determines the value of an Agent?

Owning models is only the first step.

What truly determines how complex an Agent’s work can be, and how much value or revenue it can generate, mainly depends on three factors.

Factor 1: How Complete Its Skill Set Is

This is easy to understand. The more types of models an Agent has, the more complete its capabilities will be, and naturally, the more things it can do.

You can think of it like employees in a company. Some people only have one skill. Others may understand sales, operations, and team management at the same time.

The scope of work they can take on is obviously different.Agents work in the same way.

If an Agent only loads one single model, the things it can do will be relatively limited. If an Agent loads multiple models, it can participate in more types of tasks and is more likely to enter complex task scenarios.

So the more complete the model combination is, the stronger the Agent’s foundational capability becomes.

Factor 2: How Professional Its Skills Are

Having skills is not enough.

We also need to look at how well those skills are used. Just like in the real world, even among engineers, there are junior engineers, mid-level engineers, and senior engineers.

In the future, Agents will work in a similar way. Models will continue to grow. Agents will also continue to grow.

So how can your Agent become more professional?

There are several main ways.

The first way is to train your Agent yourself. This is somewhat similar to the AIA previously launched by ecosystem partners, where AI trains AI and continuously improves professional capabilities.

The second way is to feed your Agent with data, deploy applications, participate in real tasks, and allow it to grow through practical experience.

The third way is to rent your Agent out to others, allowing other users to help train it while it accumulates more experience and capabilities.

Simply put, the better an Agent is trained, the more professional it becomes. So the biggest difference between Agents is not just whether they have skills. The real difference is who has trained their Agent better.

Factor 3: Trust Level

The final factor is trust.

In the NetX ecosystem, trust is directly related to $NETX.
The more $NETX you use to activate your Agent, the more resources you are willing to commit, and the more responsibility you are willing to take.

As a result, your Agent will be able to participate in higher-level and more complex tasks, and gain access to higher-tier work opportunities.

In the future, you will be able to list your own AI models on the marketplace for sale. You will also be able to purchase other models from the market to expand your Agent’s capabilities.

This means that AI models themselves will become tradable, composable, and configurable capability assets.

Agent Rental Services

Other users will be able to rent your Agent to perform work.

For example, they may use it to train models, execute tasks, or participate in network services.

If the user is a company, they may rent your Agent for commercial services, such as customer support, business assistance, data processing, content processing, and more.

As the owner of the Agent, you will be able to earn rental income.

The rental price will be determined freely by the market, although there will likely be reference pricing standards as guidance.

So in the future, Agents will not only be able to grow. They will also be able to continuously generate income.

5. How does your Agent help you gain benefits?

Finally, this is the question many people care about most, the main sources may include the following areas.

1⃣ Official Work Rewards

Your Agent can participate in network security guardian tasks and receive NETX work rewards.

The more complex the task, the higher the potential reward.

2⃣ Open Market Revenue

There are two major categories here.

First, rental income:
You can rent your Agent to other users. They can use your Agent to help train their own Agents or complete related tasks, while you receive corresponding rental income.

Second, enterprise service income：
Companies may rent your Agent to complete customized business services, such as customer support or data processing. You, as the Agent owner, can receive income from these services.

3⃣ Agent Collaboration and Co-Creation Revenue

In the future AgentOS environment of NetX, multiple Agents can participate in the same task together.

Different Agents can contribute their own professional capabilities and jointly complete more complex work. The revenue generated from these tasks will then be distributed to the owners of participating Agents based on their contribution.

This means that future Agents will not work in isolation. They can collaborate like a team.

Some Agents may be good at data.
Some Agents may be good at security.
Some Agents may be good at operations.
Some Agents may be good at task execution.

When multiple Agents are combined, they can complete higher-value tasks together. This is one of the most important areas of imagination for the future NetX Agent economic network.

From AI models, to Agents, to task execution and the service marketplace, these are not isolated functions. Together, they are building an Agent economic network that can collaborate autonomously, grow continuously, and keep creating value.

In addition, after the mainnet upgrade officially goes live, all Web3 users will be able to claim their own Agents on the NetX mainnet. These are all part of the planned roadmap.

In the NetX ecosystem, it will no longer be only humans who have jobs. Agents will also have their own work.
