For a brief moment, these penguins were even more in demand than the super popular BAYC, which is all about apes living it up on a yacht.

Did you know? Recently Dymension airdropped tokens to Pudgy Penguins holders. And there are hints Zksync may also airdrop Zksync tokens to Pudgy Penguin holders, at the time of the mainnet launch.

But it’s not been all sunshine and rainbows. The NFT market took a big hit, with a lot of people losing interest and sales going down. Even some big, expensive NFT sales from the past are now worth a lot less. Yet, with Yuga Labs buying Moonbirds and other positive signs, it feels like there’s hope and excitement again.

What’s interesting is how Yuga Labs is dreaming big, wanting to be like Disney but for the crypto and NFT world. They’re planning to make a virtual universe where all these different NFT characters can come together. But it’s not been easy; they’ve had to make some tough choices and focus on what they think will work best.
