Kyle’s original idea was to trade a red paperclip for better items.

Long story short, he traded this paperclip to a house after 14 online trades in 1 year.

I didn’t have a paperclip but his story inspired me.

What if we can take it to the next level?

What if we swap digital objects in cyberspace?

There are many NFT flippers out there and I respect their business but what if it’s just a game to exchange these precious digital objects between us?

That's why I made the image of the red pixel paperclip by using an online image editor (thanks to JS Paint!):

Then I went to Rarible and created an NFT of it in a couple of minutes.

Say hi to CryptoPaperClip!

Gosh, it cost me almost 0.5 ETH to mint this into ERC-721 on Rarible.

Yes, a bit expensive, however, it was the price not only to mint the NFT but I was also able to create a CryptoPaperClip collection (not sure why).

Anyway, I see it as an initial investment to NFT’s underlying value and the way to say thanks to miners that are supporting the Ethereum network for the development of our decentralized future.

I’ll swap it to any NFT which will be more expensive than mine.

For doing this I’ve found a nice tool — Swap.kiwi made by @niftynaut, so we will manage swapping easily.
