Validators contribute to the smooth operation and future development of the Opside network. In return, they can receive block rewards in the form of IDEs, which can be exchanged for credits in predetermined proportions. These points can be exchanged for Opside mainnet tokens in the future.

This article will introduce in detail the process of deploying Opside Validators V3, which involves whitelist application, host selection, node operation, verification of validator status and rewards, method of adding validators, and migration of validators between different hosts , as well as various possible questions and answers~

I Application for PoS whitelist

The use of the whitelist is only to provide us with enough IDE tokens to stake. To run a Validator in the current testnet requires a pledge of 25,000 IDE. If you have enough IDE in your wallet or swap them from GETH, this step can be skipped.

• Choice A: Fill out the form:

  The pos whitelist application is ongoing, and we will count every Friday to update the whitelist address. At the same time, we will review and approve the pos application from time to time within a week.

  In order to increase the probability of getting whitelisted, in the place of filling in the experience, you can brag a little about your ability to run the server, and the experience of running nodes for projects such as Taiko and Starknet. As long as you dare to say, experiences within the scope of human ability is Yes!

  The EVM address filled in here refers to the address for applying for the whitelist. The purpose is only to obtain 25001IDE from the official team, and it can be completely different from the address that needs to be filled in later. (The extra 1IDE contains official team's thoughtfulness (lol), which will be mentioned later.)

• Choice B. Application by email

  By sending an email to validator@opsi.de , you can apply for multiple whitelists at once.

  I applied for 10 wls for the first time through email, and put them on two servers. Later, I felt that it was too wasteful, so I applied for 10 more, so 10 for each server seems reasonable. The content of the email is of course free to play. There can be a lot of social engineering knowledge involved here, such as simply reading Opside’s white paper, retelling the concept innovation that Opside is proud of, and expressing that you understand it well, and then emphasize that you have many years of experience in using Linux, and are full of enthusiasm for working for Opside (balabala) ... But don't forget to put your wallet addresses in it.

If you apply from the form, there will be no feedback if the application is successful, so you need to try to get testnet tokens in the for-validators channel of the Opside discord to see the application result. Again, the whitelist is only used to get the IDE. Finally, if you want to run multiple nodes at one go, you need to transfer them to a main wallet for unified deposition.

II What host to choose to run well?

The official configuration requirements are:

Hardware OS: 64-bit Linux, Mac OS X 10.14+, Windows 10+ 64-bit CPU: 4+ cores @ 2.8+ GHz Memory: 16GB+ RAM Storage: SSD with at least 500GB free space(we recommend 2TB on mainnet)

In actual operation, such a configuration is not required at all. If this configuration is used for deployment, it is recommended that one host run more than 10 validators. (But not tooooo much!)

This is the result of running with a similar configuration. There are 10 running on this server, and it can be seen that it is relatively very, very idle. (Idle as if...running a Windows system hahaha)

So let's start looking for a host. First of all, it is no problem to run it with your idle computer. The only thing you need to pay attention to is that when you think it is about to fail, or when you want to disconnect from the network for some reason, you can manually quit the node operation, so that you will not be punished. . The exit method will be written later.

A Rent a VPS

The safest way is to rent a VPS, in other words, rent a cloud server. There are many, many, many service providers to choose from. If you are not stingy in researching and comparing prices, you can check the prices, server addresses, and connection speeds of various merchants. After comparing various places... Contabo is the cheapest, but the problem of oversold is relatively serious.

Note: The IP domain you use must be the same as the address you filled in. It is best not to use VPN.

Contabo has different prices in different regions and pricing units. The price in Euro is relatively the cheapest, and China and EUR are selected as the country and currency in the upper right corner .

Generally speaking, the M model is enough. I rented two M models, and it’s fine to come as needed. For example, if you plan to run five nodes, S is just enough.

Choose one and click Select.

Choose the term length.

Opside is currently in the pre-alpha test network. When it transitions to the alpha test network on August 23, validators can transition smoothly, so we can continue until the end of the year until the main network goes live next year. However, how long you choose depends on your budget and expectations for the project.

Use the default "Region" (European Union (Germany)).

Choose Storage Type . Since the pre-alpha test network has been running for more than two months, the total hard disk resources occupied are about 15GB, so 400GB is relatively sufficient. Of course, if you are not at ease, you can spend a little money to expand the capacity.

Choose the system . The official recommendation is Ubuntu 20.04+ , but if you are a Debian-fan like me, you can also choose Debian 12 in the OS column (right side of Popular).

Set the password of the root user . Don’t forget to fill it in.

Don't worry about the sixth and seventh items.

Then confirm the quantity of VPS to rent and click "Next".

Fill in the information in English as truthfully as possible . The email is used to receive the VPS login information, and it may also be used to log in to the Contabo account, which is very important. After confirming that it is correct, click "Next".

Payment methods such as Paypal, Visa, and Mastercard are supported here. Contabo will deduct the money from the account monthly.

After confirming the information, you can pay.

After a few minutes, you will receive two emails from Contabo in your mailbox

Remember the IP address

The other email is your Contabo account login information, which is needed when managing the server.

B Connect to the VPS via SSH

Use this step to operate the VPS in the future.

Enter Win+X, click Terminal (Administrator) (that is used to open Powershell, and there are many methods)

A Initial deployment of Validators

      (How to choose: If you are running Validator for the first time, choose 1; if you plan to migrate existing Validators to a new VPS, or plan to increase the number of Validators, choose 2.)

3. Enter the number of Validators you wish to run , and the program will automatically generate a corresponding number of private keys and corresponding keystore files based on the mnemonic.

4. Enter the EVM wallet address for withdrawal , and the rewards generated by the Validators operation will be sent to this wallet at regular intervals. It can be different from the EVM wallet address used for pledge (the address used for pledge is to send the corresponding IDE to the address of the corresponding Validators, and has no other use.)

5. Create a password to encrypt the keystore file , don't forget it. (length greater than 8 characters)

1. Repeat the EVM wallet address used for withdrawals

2. Repeat the password used to encrypt the keystore file

3. Write down the generated 24-character mnemonic, please keep it in a safe place.

4. Repeat the 24-character mnemonic , which can be copied and pasted, allowing only the first four characters to be entered (if you want to be lazy)

It can be opened with Notepad. For example, my json contains the information of 5 Validators, and the blue part is the public key of the first Validator.

After deposition, you need to wait for 16 to 24 hours, and then the node will be activated.

C View your Validators

Find the JSON file in the same way as the first deployment , but don’t get confused, you can judge the JSON file you need by checking the last modified time, or by querying the Validator status corresponding to the pubkey inside.

E Migration Validators

_Here you need to enter the number of Validators that have been generated by the mnemonic you imported, because each set of mnemonics can generate many private keys according to the BIP protocol, and these private keys are generated in order.

The principle of migrating Validators is to provide the private keys of the Validators you need to migrate in the new host, which is similar to the process of adding Validators in D

Of course, the migration and addition of Validators can be performed at the same time, corresponding to the previous principle.

A How do I stop validators from running?

Select stop the clients, stop all in the control-panel (if there is no special requirement)

B What should I do if the ssh connection times out and the IP address cannot be pinged?

There may be a problem with the VPS provider. I have encountered it before. If you use Contabo, you can enter the Contabo account by entering the username (email) and password provided in the email mentioned above.

Select VPS control in the left column (forgive me, the computer screen is 4k, so partial screenshots will become very large...)

Find the server you can't log in to and let it restart.

我选了ETH/iZi的交易对来添加流动性，还可以调整价格范围提高收益哦，最后点一下批准iZi，通过钱包签名，流动性就添加成功啦！

最后一步，我要清除一下流动性。在菜单栏再次点击Liquidity，我就可以看到已添加的流动性交易对了，点一下Remove，进去详情页，选择要清除的流动性数量，点击Remove，然后在钱包中确认，流动性就清除完成啦！

1.大家如果没有领水，可以先去领水~

9.最后，对liquidity、farm和pool进行消除。（我选择的都是比例消除，大家可以根据需求选择数量消除呀~）

2.访问NFT市场，连接我们的钱包，随便购买一个NFT。

3. 在大家的账号个人资料中，点击购买的NFT，在弹出的窗口中点击“put on sale”。 设置好价格和持续时间，并确认交易哦。 回到Oasis.Gallery的任务页面，检查一下任务完成情况吧。

第七个任务：

1.大家首先要做的是跑去VenomPad任务页面，然后关注并验证自己的Twitter关注哦。 做完这些，就回到VenomPad的任务页面，点击“Check”按钮确认一下我们已经完成了任务。 最后，别忘了点击“Mint”按钮领取奖励哦。

第八个任务：

1.先跑去Venom Pools任务页面，关注并验证我们的Twitter关注吧。

2. 在Venom Pools页面滚动页面到达验证者列表，然后为我们喜欢的任何一个验证者投票，投入我们的$VENOM令牌。至少要有10个$VENOM哦。

3。做完这些，我们就回到Venom Pools的任务页面，点击“Check”按钮确认一下我们已经完成了任务。 最后，别忘了点击“Mint”按钮领取奖励哦。

第九个任务：

1.大家一起前往Snipa的任务页面。 先完成一下社交任务吧。

2.访问Snipa Finance网站并连接钱包。

3.接着， 加入Venom Testnet。

4.等待页面加载完成后，点击“Join Venom Testnet”按钮。 确认交易成功

5.回到任务页面，检查一下大家的任务是否完成了。

第十个任务：

1.首先大家点击“play”观看视频。

2.点击follow推特关注再点check验证。

3.点击链接进入numi网站。

4.大家在右上角Sign Up注册账户再连接毒液钱包，会赠送10u测试币哦，然后去市场随便买个NFT就可以啦！

5.回到任务页面，检查一下大家的任务是否完成了。

3.在测试网上完成合约 点击第二个任务的小箭头，我们就进入到测试网了。

3.连接钱包， 接下来，我们在页面右侧点击Long或Short。这次我选择Long为例哦。 输入我们的USDT金额，然后点击下方的Long BTC。 再点击一次Long BTC，最后在钱包内确认一下。

4.轻松Mint NFT 回到任务页面，点击第二个任务的Check。 点击第三个任务的Mint，然后在钱包内确认就完成啦！

Taiko是一个去中心化的、等同于以太坊的ZK-Rollup（1类ZK-EVM）。我们正在开发完整的以太坊ZK-EVM，这是以太坊基金会隐私和扩展探索（PSE）团队领导的社区工作的一部分。

本文将会简单介绍Taiko解决以太坊的扩容方案，提议者（Proposer）、证明者（Prover）在网络架构中的位置与工作原理。同时提供Linux和Windows系统上部署节点的详细教程啦。

目前Taiko处在Alpha 3测试阶段，预计2024年Q1上线主网。

I 什么是提议者、证明者？

在以太坊L1 的Taiko 合约当中，区块有三种状态：

• Proposed（被提议的）

• Proved（被证明的）

• Verified（被验证的）

如下图所示，三种状态分别以蓝、绿、黄三种颜色表示。

Taiko的用户将交易数据提供给提议者，由提议者将打包着交易数据的区块发布到以太坊网络中，这个区块就会被添加到储存在以太坊Taiko L1的合约上的区块列表中，即图中Ethereum L1 Contract下的格子链。从图中可以看到，最新提议的区块就是链最后面的蓝色区块啦。

随后证明者在L1链上，平行地，或者说可以不按照顺序地，证明链上存在的被提议的蓝色区块，对比两张图片，这里从左至右第三个区块被某一个证明者证明了。证明过程只需要进行一次，所以第一个证明某一区块的证明者将获得奖励。

然而，单独每个区块被证明（prove）了不能保证前一个区块（父区块）被证明（prove），为了使整个链上区块的连接被证明，需要从初始区块（genesis block）开始对每个过渡进行验证（verify）。对比上下两图，左至右第三至第五个绿色区块（被证明的区块）依次被验证，从而使整个链（黄色的链）延申。

哈哈，理论就到这里啦。原本还打算写一些关于这种分布Rollup模式如何实现去中心化、安全、无需许可的理念，以及区块层次的证明、区块内交易的证明与筛选的规则细节等等。不过大家应该没有心思看太多，总之，知道我们将要运行的提议者和证明者在整个网络上占据的位置是有帮助哒。

投入与奖励方式：提议者提交区块的同时投入$TTKO，获得$SepoliaETH；证明者证明区块，获得$TTKO。

运行提议者需要的$TTKO源自于前两期活动，证明者的奖励以及社区成员的帮助。所以check一下各位的钱包，再开始叭。

II 部署整体流程与解释

• VPS/PC，提供硬件环境

• Docker，操作系统层虚拟化容器，用来独立运行程序

• Taiko Node，Taiko的节点，记录Taiko网络上的交易活动

• Sepolia Archive Node，用来提供RPC endpoint，可以用第三方Alchemy、Infura代替

• Proposer，提供交易区块至 Taiko L1 Contract，可选

• Prover，验证 L1 Contract上的区块，可选

大致流程：

1. 准备好VPS或PC用来运行节点

2. 安装依赖Docker与Git

3. 部署Taiko节点

4. 使用Alchemy、Infura第三方提供服务或者使用另一台VPS/PC部署Sepolia节点

5. 设置变量成为Proposer，或者设置变量成为Prover

整个教程将分为Linux与Windows两部分，Linux部分我将在Contabo里租用的服务器上示范，Windows部分将在我个人笔记本电脑上示范，同时Sepolia 节点部署将仅在VPS上进行。准大学生学识有限，难免疏忽，请指正啦~

注意：由于运行Sepolia节点不是必须的，我将放到相对靠后的位置来写（或者直接偷懒咯）（应该不会有谁愿意花几百块钱来优化RPC服务的叭）。

III Linux

准备VPS，这里仍然采用Contabo的服务商，由于上一篇文章已经讲解地很详细啦，这里就简单讨论一下型号选择的问题哦。（请允许我偷懒！）（待会附上上一篇文章的链接）

如果只运行Taiko节点或者成为Porposer那么最低要求是：

• CPU with 2+ cores

• 4GB RAM

• 50GB+ free storage space to sync the Mainnet

• 8 MBit/sec download Internet service

选择型号S 5.99EU/mo 的是足够了的，Taiko计划2024年Q1上线主网，所以租期选择1个月、3个月或者更长都是可以哒。

如果打算成为Prover（可选），那么附加要求是：

• CPU with at least 8/16 cores

• 32GB RAM

可以选择型号L或XL，性能越好证明到区块的概率越大，奖励越多咯。

如果要运行Sepolia Archive Node（非必须），相应的硬盘容量要大，选择型号M及以上

• CPU with 2+ cores

• 4GB RAM

• 400GB+ free storage space to sync the Mainnet

• 8 MBit/sec download Internet service

作为教程，我就采用两台M型号Ubuntu 20.04 VPS参与啦。

（其实我用的是本命Debian Bulleye，不过教程写的是Ubuntu的操作方法，如果想用Debian或其他操作系统，需要修改设置Repository步骤，修改方法就不放在这啦，可以去Docker官网上看，或者很欢迎来询问我哦）

A 安装Docker

通过SSH连上VPS（方法见前一篇文章）

保险起见删除旧版本的Docker

三种方法供选择（选一种就可以啦）：

• Alchemy

• Infura（懒，不演示）

• 自己运行Sepolia 节点，获得Endpoint（懒，不演示）

B.1 Alchemy

点击第一个“=”，会发现竖线光标出现在HTTP和=中间

使用Ctrl+V

复制在B板块中得到的WS链接

点击第二个“=”

使用Ctrl+V

按ESC键（键盘左上角的），输入冒号：

看到下方有一个冒号：开始的提示符

输入wq，回车

ESC直到回车是退出Vim的方法，w表示写入，q表示退出。（我知道这写得很白痴啦，但是但是有人说他们弄不懂，所以就……）

D 启用Proposer（Proposer和Prover选其一，或不选）

注意，在Sepolia上要有一些$ETH和$TTKO

进入合约地址

设置ENABLE_PROPOSER=true

L1_PROPOSER_PRIVATE_KEY填写用来质押的钱包私钥，Ctrl+V就行**（注意信息安全）**

L2_SUGGESTED_FEE_RECIPIENT填写接收奖励的钱包公钥

输入Ctrl+X，再输入y，回车（这是nano的保存退出方法）

E 启用Prover（Proposer和Prover选其一，或不选）

SSH连接上服务器（已经连着的不用）

进入simple-taiko-node文件夹

cd simple-taiko-node

同样修改.env文件

nano .env

设置ENABLE_PROVER=true

L1_PROVER_PRIVATE_KEY为提供SepoliaETH的钱包私钥（注意安全）

F 运行Taiko节点

无论前面你是否选择成为Proposer或者Prover，或者单纯运行Taiko节点，下面的步骤都是启动节点的方法。

前台运行

如果想要在后台运行

G 常用命令

停止节点

这个命令会关闭节点，不过会保留所有记录的卷，因此下次重新启动节点时，它不需要再次从头开始同步啦。

删除节点

这个命令将通过删除每个Docker容器使用的所有卷来完全删除节点：

docker compose down -vrm -f .env

更新节点

更新simple-taiko-nodeDocker 镜像：

查看节点的日志

要查看 Docker 日志，可以运行以下命令：

查看提案者图像的日志

6月7日，Taiko alpha-3 测试网正式上线，上线当日就宣布了空投活动。那么，究竟什么是Taiko呢？

在本教程中，我将一步步指导大家如何在 Taiko 生态系统中通过验证身份来赚取Trust Bonus积分。我将重点介绍以下内容：

一、注册并设置 Galxe Passport：在 Galxe 平台上验证身份

二、拿到 Gitcoin Passport 20分

（二选其一完成即可）

（一）

1、首先大家得打开 Galxe Passport 申请页面啦；

2、点击 “Mint Now” 后，大家会进入详细申请页面，这里有三步教大家如何获得 Galxe Passport 哦～

3、接下来就勾选底部的 Galxe Passport，然后点击 “Continue” 授权访问钱包。直接点击后确认授权就进入正式申请页面了～

4、点击 “Begin verifying”，开始选择国家，我这次选的是 “China”，选好之后点击 “Select” 继续；

5、大家在选择认证方式时，可以选择使用“National ID 身份证认证”或者“Passport 护照认证”。我这次选的是身份证认证哦～

除了身份证和护照，据说…据说驾驶证、港澳通行证、暂住证balabala带个头像和身份信息的证件好像都有人成功过。（不愧是各位卷王）

6、接着用手机摄像头拍身份证的正面和反面提交认证。注意啦，对焦要清晰，要是没通过就得重新拍照，不过也挺简单的呀～

7、拍照完成后，系统会提示进行人脸识别。可是我用的浏览器打开界面始终不出现提示操作，所以我换了一种方式，扫描二维码，然后用浏览器打开哦～

8、按照提示向左自动识别一次，向右识别一次，操作就完成啦！因为 Galxe Passport 目前处于免费认证阶段（超过 10 万用户后会收费 $5），所以在这里授权钱包支付 0 元就可以成功了，然后大家就会获得一张 Galxe Passport 嘞～

（二）

gitcoin passport需要20分以上才可以领取2500分

4、Github 账号 需要注册两个，fork5个，然后小号去fork一下 + 5.73分

（1）访问 网站，用Gmail邮箱注册一个崭新的账号吧！

（2）注册完毕后，大家先别急着行动哦，耐心等个15-20分钟，这样可以避免被封号的风险。

（3）接下来，点击右上角的 "New Repository"（新建仓库）按钮。

（4）输入仓库名称，勾选 "Initialize this repository with a README"（用README初始化此仓库），然后点击 "Create repository"（创建仓库）。

（5）在新建的仓库页面点击右上角的星星按钮（Star）。

（6）在搜索框任意搜索，从搜索结果中随机挑选一个仓库。

（7）在选定的仓库页面，点击右上角的 "Fork"（派生）按钮。

（8）重复步骤3至7，共创建并Fork 5个不同的仓库。

（9）使用另一个GitHub小号，搜索刚刚注册的大号用户名，并点击关注（Follow）。

（10）用小号打开大号创建的一个仓库。

（11）点击该仓库右上角的星星按钮（Star），然后点击 "Fork"（派生）。

（12）最后，按照要求进行验证。

完成这些步骤后，大家应该能获得5.73分哒！

5、关联facebook +1.35分（账号+头像）

注意：注册新号1小时后才可以授权gitcoin passport登录哦~

6、领英账号授权 + 1.69 分

没有的话注册一个，用邮箱+国内手机号接码。填地址和公司等信息时随便填一个字母，系统会给联想选项，随便选就行了。

7、ETH主网主网 NFT + 主网 ETH 交易记录 = 3.1 分（1.67+1.43），过了 30 天还能再 +1.6 分。大家只需在主网购买或者 Mint 一个 NFT 就可以啦。

8、钱包有一个 ENS 域名 + 1.66 分

有的话当然好啦，没的话就找 gas 低的时候注册一个便宜的吧。

9、Coinbase账号 +1.67分

直接网站注册一个，有的时候需要绑定手机号，直接绑定个就可以了

白名单的用处仅仅是官方给我们提供足够的IDE代币来质押（stake）哦，在目前的测试网中运行一个Validator需要质押25000IDE，如果大家钱包里有足够的IDE，或者说通过测试网的DEX从GETH（之类的）换成IDE的话，就可以跳过这个环节啦。

  这里填写的EVM地址指的就是申请白名单的地址，用途仅仅是从官方那里获得25001IDE，和后续需要填写的地址完全可以不一样哦。（这多出来的1IDE蕴含着官方的体贴哦，之后会提到哒。）

• B. 邮件申请

  通过发送邮件至validator@opsi.de ，可以一次申请多个白名单。通过邮件我第一次申请了 10个白，放在两台服务器上，后来觉得太浪费了，就又申请了10个，这样每台服务器10个看上去好像挺合理的，对叭。邮件的内容当然是自由发挥啦，这里可以涉及到许许多多社会工程学的知识，比如简单阅读一下Opside的白皮书，复述一下Opside引以为豪的概念创新之类的，表示自己很懂，然后强调自己有着多年Linux使用经验，以及有满腔热诚为了Opside干活之类的balabala……不过不要忘记把你的钱包地址放进去啦，然后采用deepl翻译下，中英都放上会比较好。因为Opside项目方里既有华人也有歪果仁。

  前段时间邮件申请是很方便的，我发的邮件大概两个小时就收到回复了。在7月初的时候，Opside的节点运行突然增多，超越了10000大关，那段时间估计官方审核很松，而在这两天陆续有人反馈邮件申请没有收到回复，或者一口气申请了20个却只白了10个，作为一种猜测，官方可能受到了一些诸如“一台服务器可以运行好多个节点真的太不去中心化啦”的指责，同时，在7月初的激增，导致了许多不是很会（放心，看完这篇文章绝对很会）的人让节点掉线之类的事情，所以增加了审核的难度。

在这里公开一下我申请用的邮件啦，请根据自己的理解来写，不要直接抄作业哦！同时，由于是六月末申请的，审核难度和审核要求与当下会有区别，仅供参考啦。（仅截取中文部分）

从表单申请的话，申请成功是没有反馈的，所以你需要在Opside discord的for-validators频道尝试领水来查看申请结果。再重申一遍，白名单只是用来拿IDE的，最后如果要一口气运行多个节点的话需要传到一个主钱包里来统一质押啦。

II 选择什么主机运行好捏？

官方给出的配置要求是：

Hardware

OS: 64-bit Linux, Mac OS X 10.14+, Windows 10+ 64-bit

CPU: 4+ cores @ 2.8+ GHz

Memory: 16GB+ RAM

Storage: SSD with at least 500GB free space(we recommend 2TB on mainnet)

实际运行下来完全不需要这样的配置，如果采用这种配置来部署的话，建议一台主机运行10个以上的验证者。（不过不要太多哦！）

这是我用相近配置运行的结果，这台服务器上运行了10个，可以看出是相对非常非常空闲的。（空闲得仿佛…在运行Windows系统一样哈哈哈）

那我们开始物色一下主机吧。首先用自己闲置的电脑运行是完全没有问题的，唯一需要注意的就是在你觉得它快要不行的时候，或者因为某些原因要断网的时候，手动主动退出节点运行，这样就不会受到惩罚。退出方法后文会写啦。

A 租用VPS

最保险和安心的做法就是租VPS，换句话说就是租云服务器。有好多好多好多的服务商可以选择，如果不吝啬于研究比对价格的话，可以查一下各个商家的价位，服务器地址以及连接速度之类的。各处对比下来…Contabo家是最便宜的，不过相对之下超卖的问题也比较严重。

注意：你使用的科学上网IP属地要和你填写的地址相同。最好不挂梯子。

Contabo不同的地区和计价单位下价格不同，选用欧元计价相对最便宜，在右上角国家和货币选为China和EUR。

一般来说M款是足够的，我租了两台M的，根据需求来就好啦。比如打算运行五个节点的话，S刚刚好满足。

选中一款点击Select。

**第一项选择租期。**Opside 目前处于pre-alpha测试网，在8月23日过渡到alpha测试网的时候，验证者可以平滑过渡，所以我们可以一直做到年末，直到明年主网上线。不过具体选择多久就根据大家的预算和对项目的预期啦。

第二项选择德国就可以啦。

第三项选择硬盘大小，由于目前pre-alpha测试网运行了两个多月，总共占用的硬盘资源约15GB，所以400GB相对来说是足够的。当然不放心的话可以花一点点钱扩容。

第四项选择系统，官方推荐是Ubuntu 20.04+，不过如果你和我一样是从小到大的Debian本家党，也可以在OS栏里（就是Popular右边）选择Debian 12。

第五项设置root用户的密码，看着填不要忘记啦，好像没法特殊字符（？）。

第六、七项不用管啦。

随后确认要租用的VPS数量，点击Next。

用英文尽量真实填写信息啦，电话号码前输入+86，邮箱用来接收VPS的参数信息的，也可能用来登录Contabo账户，很重要。确认无误之后点击Next。

这里支持Paypal，Visa，Mastercard之类的付款方式，租用是按时计费的，前两个选项会持续在卡或者Paypal里扣款，第三个选项，也就是Other里的One-off payment，指的是一次性把必要的钱打给Contabo中你的账户里，然后Contabo会按时在账户里扣款。

确认信息之后就可以付款啦。

等几分钟之后邮箱里就会收到Contabo的邮件

记住IP address

另一封邮件是你的Contabo账号登录信息，在管理服务器的时候需要用到。

B 通过SSH连接VPS

以后操作VPS用这一步就行。

输入Win+X，点击Windows终端（管理员）（就是打开Powershell啦，方法很多请随意）

输入，其中xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx替换为你的IP Addresss

ssh root@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

第一次连接会出现提示fingerprint，输入yes回车

填写你在购买服务器的时候设置的密码

退出ssh的方法：终端输入exit

C 安装aaPanel（可选）

用来管理服务器的面板，不过在整个部署过程中用处不是很大。

wget -O install.sh http://www.aapanel.com/script/install-ubuntu_6.0_en.sh && sudo bash install.sh aapanel

记下用户名和密码，以及访问链接

浏览器访问即可

附：个人Windows主机的配置方法(可选）

要求：Windows版本1903以上，专业版适用，家庭版和学生版请另行谷歌咯

如果不打算租用VPS，可以在自己闲置的电脑上运行节点。在Windows上，我们采用WSL来使用Ubuntu子系统（如果你的主机和我一样是Linux系统话…应该本来就很懂了叭）。

这里提供两个纯命令行的操作办法

输入Win+X，点击Windows终端（管理员）（打开Powershell）

依次输入下面代码就好啦。

启动WSL和虚拟化。（第三步如果是家庭版和学生版会报错，解决办法请谷歌“家庭版启动HyperV报错”（很简单哒，不过放上来会使这篇很长的文章变得更加长，就不放咯））

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux /all /norestart

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform /all /norestart

Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Hyper-V -All

安装Ubuntu 22.04版本。

Invoke-WebRequest -Uri https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/wsl/jammy/current/ubuntu-jammy-wsl-amd64-wsl.rootfs.tar.gz -OutFile $ENV:HOMEDRIVE$ENV:HOMEPATH\Downloads\ubuntu-22.04-jammy-wsl.tar.gz -UseBasicParsing

在C盘创建UbuntuJammy目录。

mkdir c:\UbuntuJammy

设置WSL为版本2。

wsl --set-default-version 2

把下载的Ubuntu导入WSL。

wsl.exe --import UbuntuJammy C:\UbuntuJammy $ENV:HOMEDRIVE$ENV:HOMEPATH\Downloads\ubuntu-22.04-jammy-wsl.tar.gz

运行！

（以后运行只需要打开Powershell然后输入wsl即可）（或者通过Windows搜索Ubuntu，点击图标）

注意：需要在CMD（管理员模式）中切换成默认进入root用户

打开CMD（管理员模式）

输入

ubuntu2204 config --default-user root

III 部署Opside Validators V3

以下适用于选择VPS以及用个人Windows主机的用户

A 初次部署Validators

通过ssh连接上VPS（VPS用户，方法见上文），或者以管理员身份运行Powershell，输入wsl（Windows用户，方法见上文）

更新源（root用户下执行）：

apt-get update -y && apt-get upgrade -y

apt install -y wget build-essential libssl-dev cmake screen git htop

使用自动部署程序v3：

wget -c https://pre-alpha-download.opside.network/testnet-auto-install-v3.tar.gz && tar -C ./ -xzf testnet-auto-install-v3.tar.gz && chmod +x -R ./testnet-auto-install-v3 && cd ./testnet-auto-install-v3 && ./install-ubuntu-1.0.sh

（解释：&&表示顺序执行命令，用来连接两个或多个命令，wget是下载 自动部署程序v3的压缩包，tar -xvf 用来解压，chmod +x 是赋予整个testnet-auto-install-v3文件夹可执行权限，cd (+目录）表示进入该目录，使用cd ..退回上级目录，./install-ubuntu-1.0.sh 执行安装程序，只需使用一次。）

1. 选择同步模式，输入1或2回车

   1. Fast mode （快速模式）{同步速度快，推荐使用，如果出现同步错误，可以尝试切换到普通模式}。

   2. Normal mode（普通模式） {节点数更多、更稳定，但速度更慢} 。

2. 选择助记词导入方式

   1. 创建新的助记词

   2. 导入现有助记词

      （如何选择：如果你是第一次运行Validator，选择1；如果你打算把已有的Validators迁移到新的VPS，或者打算增加Validator数量，选择2。）

3. 输入想要运行的Validators数量，程序会根据助记词自动生成相应数量的私钥以及对应的keystore文件。

4. 输入用于提款的EVM钱包地址，Validators运行的产生奖励会每隔一段时间发送到这个钱包里。可以和质押用的EVM钱包地址不一样（质押用的地址是把相应的IDE发送到对应的Validators的地址上，除此之外没有别的用处。）

5. 创建一个用来加密keystore文件的密码，不要忘啦。（长度大于8个字符）

（接下来的步骤，根据CLI prompts，如果有疑惑可以Deepl翻译）

1. 重复用于提款的EVM钱包地址

2. 重复用来加密keystore文件的密码

3. 记忆生成的24字符助记词，请保存在安全的地方。

4. 重复24字符助记词，可以复制粘贴，允许只输入前四个字符（如果想要偷懒的话）

如果没有别的想做的事情的话，退出ssh就行啦。（方法见上文）（或者退出wsl）

（对VPS用户）接下来我们通过scp把validator_keys文件夹传输到C盘根目录（当然可以存在你想存的位置，只要把C:\替换为对应的位置就行，比如说C:\Users\(你的用户名）\Documents\，存到你的“文档”文件夹里）

输入（xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx替换为你的IP Address）

scp -r root@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/root/testnet-auto-install-v3/validator_keys C:\

需要填写你在购买服务器的时候设置的密码

现在你可以在C盘根目录里看到这个文件夹

这个JSON文件使用来Deposit的，里面储存着你这一次添加的Validators的公钥pubkey，提款认证，金额（25000IDE/Validator），签名等

可以用记事本打开，比如我的这一个json里面存了5个Validators的信息，蓝色的部分就是第一个Validator的公钥。

（对Windows用户)

打开文件资源管理器

在上方索引栏输入

//wsl$

然后依次打开root文件夹，testnet-auto-install-v3文件夹，可以看到validator_keys文件夹

在质押之前，确认是否同步完成。确认方法：

通过ssh连接上VPS（VPS用户，方法见上文），或者以管理员身份运行Powershell，输入wsl（Windows用户，方法见上文）

进入opside-chain文件夹

cd /root/testnet-auto-install-v3/opside-chain

运行control-panel

./control-panel.sh

依次输入5，回车，1，回车

等Block height difference为0时表示同步完成。

B 质押（确保同步完成）

进入网站

https://opside.network/validator/deposit

仔细阅读说明，点击Continue或Accept，随后将JSON文件托放到此处

或者把json里面的内容粘贴到红框里

确认之后点击Continue，随后连接钱包质押就好啦。如果一次运行多个节点，这边Rent的金额会显示相应的数量，这个时候仍然是连接一个钱包质押，所以如果申请到多个白名单，需要把这些白名单钱包的IDE转到付款用的一个钱包当中，因此官方给白名单的时候会多给一个IDE啦（用来支付Gas）。

质押完后需要等待16至24小时，随后节点就会运行啦。

C 查看你的Validators

进入网站，查看单个Validator状态

输入前面JSON文件里的pubkeys查询（记得加上0x）比如这个节点是我后面新添加的Validator，节点序号的11375，一般来说同时质押的一批Validators，节点序号是连续的，只需要查询到第一个Validator的序号，之后就可以输入序号来查询。

你还可以通过Dashboard来集中查看你运行的Validators

依次输入各个节点的序号，比如这是我运行了半个月的20个节点。

D 增加Validators

（B 是和前面 A初次部署相对的，因为已经在很前面很前面惹，所以提示一下）

打开control-panel （后面就不重复写如何打开啦）

通过ssh连接上VPS（VPS用户，方法见上文），或者以管理员身份运行Powershell，输入wsl（Windows用户，方法见上文）

进入opside-chain文件夹

cd /root/testnet-auto-install-v3/opside-chain

运行control-panel

./control-panel.sh

依次输入6，回车（选择Validator Management），1，回车（Add Validators），2，回车（导入现有的助记词）

随后输入你想要添加的Validator数量

我这里添加了2个，就是橙色部分。

随后是你初次部署时候填的提款EVM地址，初次部署时的密码，以及24位的助记词

你会遇到：

在这里你需要输入已经通过你导入的助记词生成的Validators数量，因为每组助记词根据BIP协议可以生成许多私钥，这些私钥的生成是有顺序的，比如说在metamask里添加账户，从不同的钱包里用同样的助记词添加的账户，它们的公钥私钥对应的值和生成顺序都是一样哒。

简单地说，填写你使用这个助记词创建过的Validators的数量。

包括，初次创建的数量，以前添加过的数量，在另一台服务器上用这个助记词创建的数量等等。

和初次部署同样的方法找到JSON文件，不过不要记混啦，你可以通过查看文件时间，或者通过查询里面的pubkey对应的Validator状态来判断你需要的JSON 文件。

然后按前面的方法质押就可以啦。

E 迁移Validators

根据D板块

在这里你需要输入已经通过你导入的助记词生成的Validators数量，因为每组助记词根据BIP协议可以生成许多私钥，这些私钥的生成是有顺序的，比如说在metamask里添加账户，从不同的钱包里用同样的助记词添加的账户，它们的公钥私钥对应的值和生成顺序都是一样哒。

迁移Validators，原理上就是在新的主机里提供你需要迁移的那些Validators的私钥，和D中添加Validators的过程相仿

打开control-panel

依次输入6，回车（选择Validator Management），1，回车（Add Validators），2，回车（导入现有的助记词）

随后输入你想要迁移的Validator数量

假设你在旧的VPS上有5个Validators，你想要迁移4个到新的VPS上，就输入4

随后同样是EVM地址，密码，助记词

当你遇到

你需要稍微计算一下（花点时间思考一下助记词和私钥的对应关系（一个助记词可以有序生成多个私钥）就可以啦）

比如按照前面的假设，你需要在这里输入1，这表示你将在这台VPS上从第二个私钥开始，有序生成4个私钥。

当然，Validators的迁移和添加可以同时进行，对应前面的原理。

IV 可能出现的问题和解答

A 如何停止运行Validators？

在control-panel里选择stop the clients，stop all（如果没有特殊需求的话）

B ssh连接超时，IP地址ping不上怎么办？

有可能是VPS供应商出现了问题，我之前就遇到过，如果采用Contabo的话，可以通过输入前面所说的邮件里提供的用户名（邮箱）和密码进入Contabo账户

左侧栏里选择VPS control（原谅我啦，电脑屏幕是4k的所以局部截图会变得看上去很大很大…）

找到你登陆不上的服务器，然后让它重启。

重启之后你需要在control-panel里，选择2 restart the clients

C 出现Permission Denied怎么办？

这种情况大概是没有给部署文件添加可执行权限，只需要输入

chmod +x -R /root/testnet-auto-install-v3
