🌱 What projects are we looking for?

We looking for projects that showcase the potential of the Ethereum ecosystem and push the boundaries of what is possible.

Here are the various tracks we are looking for this time:

• Zero-knowledge Tech: It is an essential area for investment as it can revolutionize how we store and share sensitive information.

• Next-Gen Wallets (Account Abstraction, UX around wallets): Next-generation wallets, including those utilizing Account Abstraction and those with improved user experience, have the potential to enhance the usability and adoption of Ethereum greatly.

• General Scope (DeFi, DAO, NFT, and more): These areas are central to the growth and development of Ethereum and we will continue to support the projects in these areas.

• Community and Developer Education: To ensure the ongoing growth and sustainability of the Ethereum ecosystem, it is important to support and engage the community of developers and users. We hope to support initiatives that incentivize and reward community and developer engagement, which can foster a sense of collaboration and support within the Web3 ecosystem.

If your project doesn’t fit the above category, don’t worry, you can still apply. We are always looking for people who think outside the box of what’s possible with Ethereum.

🤝 How do we support you?

Our grants program is thoughtfully designed to offer support to builders, not just in terms of financing, but with a range of resources that can aid you in your pursuit of success.

• Get up to $5k equity-free grants: The grant offers up to $5,000 in equity-free funding for individuals or teams to support their innovative projects.

• Maximise Visibility and Outreach Opportunities:  We know that getting your project in front of the right people can be a major hurdle, which is why we work hard to showcase the work of our grantees to a wider audience.

• Access to a massive collective knowledge base: To help builders stay up-to-date and informed, we offer access to a wealth of educational resources. We also provide a platform for builders to connect with one another, share knowledge and insights, and collaborate on new projects.

• Connections to leading developers, researchers, investors, and community members: Whether it's through introductions to potential investors or partnerships with other builders, we are here to help you make the most of your network and build the relationships you need to succeed.

If funding isn't needed, builders can also book an office hours session for non-financial support such as project feedback or help to navigate the Ethereum ecosystem.

📩 How do I apply?

Application Process:

• To apply for an ETHIndia Grant, simply fill in the application form on the microsite. Our team will review all applications on a rolling basis every two weeks, so you can expect to hear back from us shortly after submitting your application.

• If your application is shortlisted, we will contact you to set up a 30-minute remote catchup. This will give us an opportunity to learn more about your project, ask any questions we may have, and discuss how we can best support you.

• Finally, when your grant application is approved, we will disburse funds to grantees in a phased manner as you complete your project milestones.

EIF 3.0 has officially wrapped up, and what a ride it was! We're thrilled to showcase the amazing projects and achievements of our fellows during this program. It's time to sit back, relax, and relive the magic of EIF 3.0.

As the ETHIndia fellowship 3.0 draws to a close, we're left with a sense of awe and wonder at the amazing builders who participated.

We believe that the best way to learn is by building, which is why this fellowship aimed to create an ideal space for developers to build and fast-track their Ethereum development journey. Our goal was to unlock the potential of the fellows and enable them to build projects that can drive the Ethereum ecosystem forward. For the past two editions, we have seen some incredible work by the fellows, who have gone on to achieve remarkable things.

This edition once again brought together fellows that truly embody the spirit of innovation and action that makes Web3 such an exciting field to be a part of. As it comes to a close, join us to revisit some of the standout moments from this year's cohort of exceptional builders.

EIF 3.0 by the Numbers

The response we received for the third edition of the ETHIndia Fellowship by Devfolio was nothing short of phenomenal! We were blown away by the interest we received from all corners of the world, from people of all ages and backgrounds. With over 6000 applications to sift through, the selection process was rigorous and challenging, but we finally found our dream team of 45 fellows - 25 in the Track Wei and 20 in the Track Gwei.

These talented fellows received a stipend of $1000 and $2000 respectively, to support them in their journey of Web3 development. We wish we could put a number on the immense talent and creativity they brought to the fellowship, but let's just say that it was off the charts!

Mentoring Mavericks: How EIF 3.0 Mentors Made a Difference

We couldn't have made it without our awesome mentors who brought their A-game to EIF 3.0! They were the wind beneath our fellows' wings, guiding them every step of the way as they tackled the challenges of Ethereum.

Whether it was brainstorming wild ideas or fine-tuning their code, our mentors were there to cheer the fellows on and offer valuable feedback on their work. With their industry expertise and unwavering support, our fellows were able to create some truly outstanding projects that left us all in awe.

Settling into the Rhythm of the Fellowship

The EIF 3.0 fellows' journey was an 8-week rollercoaster of learning, building, and fun! It’s Showtime: Fellows Take the Stage for Demo Day

The wait was finally over, and it was time for the EIF 3.0 fellows to showcase their talent and hard work during the demo days.

The excitement was palpable, and the energy was infectious. The projects presented by the fellows were nothing short of phenomenal. From Wallets, and Dev Tooling to gaming platforms, the range of projects was vast, and the quality was top-notch. It was heartwarming to see the fellows take the stage and confidently present their projects. All the late-night coding sessions, brainstorming, ideation, and hard work had paid off.

Looking Ahead at the Closing Ceremony

The ETHIndia Fellowship 3.0 concluded with a truly epic Closing Ceremony, leaving us with some more of those cherishable memories.

The event was an inspiring affair, featuring special guests Kautuk Kundan (Stackr Labs) and Anurag Arjun (The Avail Project), who shared their valuable insights and experiences. The ceremony was a fitting end to the fellowship program and celebrated the hard work, dedication, and resilience of everyone involved.

Adding to the excitement, Devfolio’s Cheer Project was launched during the event, providing a dynamic and fun way to support our fellows and their projects. The night was filled with excitement as Vaibhav Chellani cheered on many of our fellows by sending them Cheers, $$$, and accolades.
