Overview

All Orange repositories and ongoing development work will be continued by the Plutus team and used within their products (including LP.fun and plsASSET LP -management). The Orange team will remain closely involved with Plutus to transfer operational knowledge and LP strategy know-how.

Important boundaries

• Withdrawals from Orange Finance are independent from anything Plutus builds.

• LP.fun or any other Plutus-driven continuation are independent projects under a new operational structure. Any future incentives or products by Plutus are separate from Orange Finance’s transition process and user withdrawals.

• The Orange brand is ending and is not being carried forward due to continued difficulty with corporate Orange brand claims and related tension and difficulty. Plutus will publish their own announcement with product details.

Orange Finance suffered a security incident, and we completed compensation related to that incident. The operational impact was significant, which made it impractical to continue operating Orange Finance under the prior structure.

Our dual-liquidity vault manages the liquidity position in the CLAMM pools on Stryke, which offers an options platform on Berachain.

About Stryke

Stryke is an options platform that leverages liquidity positions on AMMs, which built the options market on top of Kodiak on Berachain.

Unlike traditional AMMs that only earn swap fees, Stryke boosts capital efficiency by letting LPs earn swap fees on liquidity at the current price and premium fees on idle positions, allowing LPs to achieve higher capital efficiency.

Orange dual-liquidity vault

Managing liquidity for Stryke involves similar methods to v3 AMM rebalancing but is more complex. Our vault automates the entire process, streamlining the experience for LPs.

1. Tick-Level Liquidity Management

Orange manages liquidity at the tick level. It checks each tick during updates and, if liquidity is locked in derivatives, it can’t be withdrawn until settled. Orange then burns and reallocates that liquidity once it’s free.

2. Tick Interval Adjustment

To prevent excessive gas fees when expanding ranges, Orange adjusts tick liquidity intervals. Still, it manages approximately 70~100 liquidity positions simultaneously.

3. Simplified Performance Measurement

Managing numerous liquidity positions and tracking their performance can be labor-intensive. Orange simplifies this by wrapping these positions into an ERC20 token, allowing for streamlined performance tracking as a Vault.

Every three days, our vault rebalances its liquidity position based on a targeted range derived using implied volatility (IV) calculations (inspired by Panoptic’s methodology). The current ranges for each vault are:

Vault/Approval-Related Loss

We will address both vault and approval-related losses through two distinct mechanisms:

• Compensation with Time-Locked LP Token

• Immediate Compensation

As explained in the article “Orange Finance Operations Resumption & Launch of the Orange Reboot Campaign“, PlutusDAO supports our compensation effort by using its exploited losses as follows:

• PlutusDAO temporarily classifies the loss as a debt to Orange Finance.

• PlutusDAO distributes its remaining LP position to hacked victims for compensation.

Accordingly, their exploited losses are excluded from this round of compensation.

Compensation with Time-Locked LP Token

• Total Amount: $226,204

• Paid With: Time-Locked LP Token

• Payment Method: Users must claim from the provided contracts

• Timeline:

  • 25% claimable at the start

The exploited amount from the vaults and the approval-related issue will be compensated with a Time-Locked LP token. Orange deposits the compensation amount of $226,204 to the respective vaults and distributes them to the affected user as follows:

The compensation amount above are calculated using each asset's price as of March 11, one day prior to the commencement of compensation on March 12.

• any WETH-USDC Vaults: Paid with a Time-Locked LP token of WETH-USDC StrykePancake vault

• any WBTC-USDC Vaults: Paid with a Time-Locked LP token of WBTC-USDC StrykePancake vault

• any ARB-USDC Vaults: Paid with a Time-Locked LP token of ARB-USDC StrykePancake vault

• StrykeUniswap BOOP-WETH Vaults: Paid with a Time-Locked LP token of WETH-USDC StrykePancake vault

Please note that the value of a Time-Locked LP token may vary during the lock period based on vault performance, just like a non-locked LP token.

25% of the exploited funds will be claimable from the provided contracts at the beginning of the compensation period, while 50% will be claimable in June and the last 25% in September respectively.

Important: Some users received overpayments during the last payment. The excess amount will be deducted from this compensation round for those users. This adjustment does not affect the total compensation amount.

Some funds were unpaid in the last payment for the return of the funds protected by Stryke.

We compensate these unpaid funds of $44,702.70 this time, which are already transferred directly to the affected wallets at the beginning of the compensation period.

Unclaimed SYK rewards

Any unclaimed SYK/xSYK rewards will be fully compensated as SYK/plsSYK. Details on the process and timeline will be announced as soon as they are finalized.

The Return of Funds Protected on Stryke

Orange Finance had been providing liquidity to Uniswap, Pancake, and Sushiswap via Stryke, while some of the funds on Stryke were being used to sell options.

Immediately after the hack, the Stryke team took swift action to pause (protect) these funds, while Orange Finance paused its rebalancing (range adjustment).

We will return the pool pair assets directly to users. Below are the asset ratios for each vault at the time of returning the funds:

Orange Finance Operations Resumption

Vault reopening

Starting today, Orange Finance will officially resume operations, reopening the Stryke Pancake Vaults (WETH/USDC, WBTC/USDC, ARB/USDC), which provide liquidity simultaneously on Stryke and PancakeSwap.

Points Campaign will be temporarily suspended

In addition, the currently ongoing Orange Points Campaign (The Astronaut, Chapter 2: The Hatch) will be temporarily suspended. We will provide further updates on the campaign’s progress in due course.

Vault Operational Strategy

Taking into account the high implied volatility (IV at 67%) in the current market environment, we have adjusted our liquidity provision range.

Changes

• Liquidity Mint Range: ±24% (expanded from the previous ±10%)

• Liquidity Burn Range: ±29% (expanded from the previous ±20%)

This adjustment is based on historical backtesting data and incorporates an optimal rebalance frequency. In particular, in a high-IV environment, when the price approaches the edge of the liquidity range, there is a risk of negative gamma, which can reduce the efficiency of liquidity provision.

To address this, we have set a 4σ range (99.994% probability of prices staying within range), enabling a more stable liquidity operation.

We will also regularly review the rebalance frequency and liquidity range in response to changes in IV, aiming to maximize capital efficiency.

Orange Reboot Campaign

We are launching the Orange Reboot Campaign, offering rewards from Stryke and PlutusDAO exclusively to users who deposit into the newly launched Vaults.

The vaults are restarting with zero TVL, giving early participants the potential to earn exceptionally high rewards.

Rewards for the 1st week

LP Rewards for the 1st week are offered from PlutusDAO as follows:

• The first reward distribution will happen after two epochs (two weeks): the first week is for voting, and the second week is for the reward calculation phase.

• The distribution ratio for each vault is determined by votes on Stryke.

• Reward Distribution Format: 50% SYK & 50% plsSYK

Potential return: Assuming a 30% Migration Rate and 85% of Stryke’s gauge rewards would be distributed to the Orange vaults, the reward would be about 61% APR.

Bonus from PlutusDAO

• PlutusDAO will commit an additional bonus to LPs with esPLS or PLS tokens based on the new Orange Vault’s TVL, which will further boost APR.

• This bonus will be available for one month following the launch of the new vaults.

The incident occurred because the EOA private key, which was managed in an online environment, had critical authority to change ownership. Additionally, the multi-sig was set to 1/2, meaning that a transaction could be executed if just one private key was compromised.

*There were no vulnerabilities in the smart contracts.

Investigation So Far

• We confirmed that no private keys (configuration files) were ever pushed to GitHub.

• We verified that there was no unauthorized access to 1Password.

• We discovered that on Vercel’s dashboard, the private key information for the multi-sig signer was publicly accessible to four developers. Consequently, we requested Mandiant to investigate the devices of employees who might have had access to that file. However, no suspicious activity was found.

Mitigation Plan

1. Offline Management of Multi-Sig Signers’ Private Keys; Automated Execution of EOA Private Keys via AWS Key Management Service (KMS)

• Multi-Sig Keys: The private keys of all multi-sig signers, which were previously managed in online environments (e.g., Vercel, 1Password), will now be managed offline with secure hardware separate from personal devices.

• Keys for automated execution: Private keys for automated tasks will be generated and managed using AWS KMS. This system will ensure that no developer has access to view the private keys.

  Note*: *The AWS-generated private keys will be used for automated tasks such as rebalancing and pulling SYK tokens, but will not have authority for critical upgrades.

2. Introducing Three Types of Multi-Sig: Proposer, Executor, and Pauser

• Two-Step Multi-Sig Process: Critical transactions will now require a two-step multi-sig process, one from a Proposer and one from an Executor. Additionally, every transaction will be executed via a Timelock contract provided by OpenZeppelin(OZ), which offers a maximum grace period of up to 72 hours.

• New Multi-Sig Structure: We are transitioning from the previous 1/2 multi-sig setup to an operation managed by three distinct multi-sig systems:

  • Proposer: 3-of-5 approval.

  • Executer: 2-of-3 approval.

  • Pauser: 2-of-3 approval.

  Each multi-sig will be managed using a separate hardware wallet (private key). The Proposer role will be handled by five members of the Orange Finance Core Team, while the Executor and the Pauser roles will be managed by three founding members of Orange Finance. To prevent the targeting of any specific address or device, signers will be rotated periodically.

• Timelock Details: Using the Timelock contract by OZ, there will be a grace period of either 72 hours or 48 hours between proposal and execution. Critical operations that directly affect fund outflows (e.g., upgrades) will be executed via Timelock (High) after 72 hours, while other operations will use Timelock (Mid) with a 48-hour delay.

3. Introducing OZ Defender for 24/7 Monitoring and Automatic Pausing

We will deploy a new monitoring tool provided by OZ to conduct continuous, 24/7 monitoring. This tool will detect unauthorized activity and trigger a pause. The monitoring will cover:

1. Orange Finance on-chain system

   1. State

      1. Assets in Vault

      2. Parameters (e.g. owner)

   2. Executed functions

      1. Regular function execution such as deposit/withdraw

      2. Unintended function execution (direct upgrade occurs, suspicious function execution due to unexpected reentrancy)

2. Administrator privilege wallet

   1. Unannounced changes of Signer

   2. Transaction creation without prior notice

Next Steps

• We will proceed with the implementation of the above mitigation plan.

• In collaboration with the security consulting firm zeroShadow, we are actively and aggressively pursuing the exploited assets and working to freeze them on centralized exchanges (CEXs).

• Additionally, we are waiting for the final report by Mandiant. We will share further updates as more information becomes available.

This is not the final report but the follow-up report on the incident that occurred on January 8th. We will continuously provide updates on significant findings for transparency.

Incident Overview

The incident was not primarily caused by technical vulnerabilities in the smart contracts.

• Date: January 8, 2025

• Incident: Exploitation of Multi-Sig Misconfiguration, resulting in the theft of $830,000 worth of assets.

On January 8, 2025, all active vaults on Orange Finance were exploited, resulting in the theft of approximately $830,000 worth of assets. The attacker gained ownership of each vault, modified their implementations, and withdrew both the deposited assets and excessively approved funds. About 94% (roughly $780,000) of the total loss came from deposited assets, while the remaining 6% (around $47,000) resulted from excessive approvals.

Our Response so far

• Temporary Pause on Stryke: Nearly 50% of the Total Value Locked (TVL) remains secured on Stryke, where funds have been temporarily paused to ensure protection.

• Disabled Deposits and Withdrawals via Orange UI: To prevent further exploits, the Orange team has disabled all deposit and withdrawal functionalities through the Orange UI.

• Collaboration with Seal 911: The Orange team has contacted Seal 911 and is working with them to investigate the incident and identify the attacker.

• Fund Recovery Efforts: The Orange team has attempted to negotiate the return of funds by reaching out to the exploiter via Arbiscan.

The Causes of the Incident

This incident was not primarily caused by technical vulnerabilities in the smart contracts, but rather by the following operational issues. We’re still investigating how private key leakage occurred, and we will provide updates on significant findings as they arise.

1. Misconfiguration of the Safe wallet

   - Multi-sig was configured to allow execution with a single signature

   - Critical operations (such as ownership changes) that should have required multiple approvals were executable by a single individual

2. Inadequate private key management

   - Insufficient internal processes for managing private keys

   - Inadequate oversight and management of members with privileged access.

   - No clear policies for backing up or storing private keys

   The investigation into how the private key was leaked is ongoing. No suspicious applications have been found on the relevant team member’s device, and further investigation—potentially involving leaks from development-related services (version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, etc.)—is being conducted alongside security experts.

3. Lack of internal controls

   - No approval flow was established for critical operations.

   - No monitoring or auditing framework was established for privileged actions.

   - No incident response procedures were established.

These issues allowed the attacker to gain control of the Safe wallet, followed by a series of actions (ownership changes, unauthorized withdrawals) that led to the loss of user funds.

Further Investigation into root causes and each user’s actual losses

We are still conducting a detailed investigation into how private key leakage occurred, and each user’s losses.

Regarding each user’s actual loss (including the breakdown of deposit and approval-related losses), we plan to publish a Google Spreadsheet containing the following information:

• Wallet address

• Affected vault(s)

• Deposit loss in USD

• Approval-related loss in USD

• Total loss in USD

Once the investigation is complete, the spreadsheet’s URL will be announced on Orange Finance’s official Twitter (@0xOrangeFinance) and Discord. To protect privacy, no personally identifiable information will be included other than wallet addresses.

We will also provide further information on specific recovery measures, including any form of compensation after we publish the list.

How Can I Earn Chapter2 Points

In Chapter 2, you can earn Chapter2 Points in two ways:

1. Locking Orange LP in StrykeUniswap/PCS Vaults (excluding BOOP pairs) and Camelot Vaults, and

2. Referring friends to the Points Program.

1. Lock Orange LP and Farm Chapter2 Points

You can earn Chapter2 Points by locking your LP tokens. The points you earn are calculated based on the amount you deposit, the duration of your lock, and a base rate.

How Can I Boost Chapter2 Points farming

You can boost your Chapter2 Points farming based on your user status and the duration of your locked position.

1. User-Based Boosts

Loyalty Boost:

Holding a Founding Member NFT (Snapshot: Daily at 1pm UTC) gives you a 2x boost. If you hold the Alpha Orange Crew role (Snapshot: 8/13 at 1pm UTC), you get a 1.5x boost. If you have both, the 2x boost from the Founding Member NFT will be prioritized.

TVL Boost:

The TVL Boost rewards users based on the total amount they lock into the vaults. Locking $10,000 can boost your points by up to 1.5x.

Chapter 1 Participation Boost:

If you participated before the Chapter 1 Points Airdrop snapshot (by 8/13 at 1pm UTC), you’ll receive a 1.1x boost.

Referee Boost:

Registering a referral code in your profile will give you a 1.1x boost.

2. Position-Based Boosts

Lock Time Boost:

Your points are boosted based on how long you lock each position. You can choose a lock period between 1 and 183 days, with a maximum boost of up to 1.5x.

• ARB rewards (LTIPP/STIP-B) will end on September 2nd (StrykePCS vaults) and September 11th (Camelot).

• You’ll continue earning Orange points as long as your LP remains locked, with the Lock Time Boost staying as set.

3. Combining Boosts for Maximum Effect

To get the most out of your point-earning potential, you can stack these boosts:

• Max User-Base Boost:

• Max Overall Boost:

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our proprietary point system, Orange Points “Mission to the Moon“, on August 6th, 2024.

How to Earn Orange Points

Chapter 1, "The Countdown," starts today, with the theme of Social & On-chain Activity. In this chapter, there are two main ways to earn points: through Point Airdrops and Referrals.

1. Point Airdrops; Earn points through specific on-chain activities

Users can qualify for point airdrops based on their address status within the LPDfi and Arbitrum ecosystems as of the snapshot on August 13, 2024.

A total of 21 partner protocols are involved, and users can earn 7 points per protocol by meeting specific conditions. If you complete all 22 conditions including Orange, you can earn up to 154 points.

The first set of conditions focuses on protocols within the Stryke ecosystem: Stryke, Orange Finance, SushiSwap, and PancakeSwap.

LP positions in StrykeCLAMM on Uniswap, SushiSwap, and PancakeSwap, as well as any StrykeVault on Orange Finance, are included in the points airdrops.

2. Refer friends

You can also earn points through referral activities. For each new user you refer via your referral link, you'll earn 5 points. Plus, you'll receive an additional 10% of the point airdrops earned by the users you refer. Referred users will also receive a 10% bonus on their points.

Liquidity providers can earn option premiums and extra rewards while earning standard trading fees from an underlying v3 DEX (e.g. Camelot v3 and Uniswap v3). Traders will be able to tap into this liquidity to trade American-style options on all their favorite tokens.

Our ALM vault elevates the Stryke to an entirely new level.

What’s the Stryke Vault

The Stryke Vault will actively rebalance the liquidity position automatically by closely monitoring the utilization status with the following features:

• Auto Rebalancing (maximizing +-2.5% Range rewards)

The vault automatically rebalances the position according to the market condition to keep delivering returns to users. For Auto rebalancing, there is no off-chain component on Orange Finance's end, and we automate liquidity management with smart contracts + Gelato.

The Arbitrum STIP Reward is distributed to liquidity within a range of ±2.5% from the current price on Stryke through Merkl until 31st March. This vault automatically rebalances to remain within this criteria, thereby maximizing your reward revenue.

To maximize rewards in the presence of asset price fluctuations, our vault offers liquidity within a narrower range of ±2.0%, which is more restrictive than the qualified range.

After the STIP reward ends, users keep getting benefits from the vault with its auto liquidity management to receive higher premiums/fees by keeping the liquidity close to the strike price.

• Monitoring the utilization status for auto-withdrawal/redeposit

Currently, LPers on Stryke are rarely able to withdraw their liquidity as their liquidity is often utilized. Orange addresses this issue by monitoring the utilization status frequently, enabling the vault to shift liquidity into the valid range as soon as possible.

Besides auto-withdrawal, this feature redeposits your liquidity back automatically into optimal range to earn rewards again.

• Anytime Redemption

Users can redeem their liquidity anytime even if the position is utilized. Positions that cannot be burned will be returned to users in the form of the Stryke LP token, which should be managed by users on Stryke UI after redemption.

• Single Asset Deposit

Users don’t need to prepare both assets to provide liquidity. Orange supports single-asset deposits. Deposited assets are once pooled within the vault, and will be collectively supplied with liquidity from other users to Stryke pools through batch transactions in the next cycle.

• 0.1 % deposit fee

Deposit fees of 0.1% are charged as a one-time fee at the time of deposit. These fees cover the gas costs associated with frequent rebalancing across multiple ticks.

Orange is introducing a new vault upon WETH-USDC Stryke CLAMM. The vault delivers effortless liquidity management, maximizing the Arbitrum STIP rewards, to Stryke LPers.

The APR is based on our backtesting, covering the period from 10 Dec 2023 to 12 Jan 2024.

LPDfi protocol, utilizing DEXs such as Uniswap, enables the minting and trading of derivatives, futures, and options, 24/7 without relying on any counterparties like brokerage firms or market makers. The following section will highlight and delve deeper into the four main features of the LPDfi protocol.

The Key Features of LPDfi Protocol

1. LPDfi involves no counterparty risk, meaning no entities like brokerage firms or market makers are involved.

2. Anyone can create markets for derivatives such as futures and options for any asset pair, without needing permission by leveraging permission-less DEX protocols like Uniswap.

3. Liquidity Providers (LPs) can expect higher returns by providing liquidity through the LPDfi protocol, as it is used for executing futures and options.

4. LPDfi protocol allows for flexible settings of various parameters, such as liquidation risks, oracle dependencies, leverage settings, and maturity dates, unlike traditional centralized exchanges.

Now, let's delve deeper into each of these four points:

1. No Counterparty Risk

   In traditional financial markets, particularly in derivatives and credit markets, managing counterparty risk is extremely important. This risk involves the possibility that one party in a transaction may not fulfill their contractual obligations. In derivative protocols using Automated Market Makers (AMMs), transactions are automatically executed via smart contracts, which eliminates the concern for counterparty risk.

   Looking at the options trading, the process is as follows:

   1. Option Purchase: Investor A buys the right to purchase ETH at a predetermined price on a future date from Investor B.

   2. Option Exercise: If, at the deadline, the price of ETH is above the exercise price, it benefits investor A to exercise the option and buy ETH at the agreed price.

   In this trading flow, Counterparty Risk arises if investor B is unable or refuses to provide ETH on the day of the option exercise. While investor A has the right to exercise the option, if investor B fails to deliver ETH as per the contract, A cannot exercise the right, missing the opportunity for profit.

   In DeFi derivatives protocols, risks that may arise are managed through smart contracts. For instance, if a transaction has a maximum potential loss of $100, that amount is secured as a margin in advance. In cases of transactions that could lead to infinite losses, margin requirements are automatically enforced by smart contracts, thus eliminating the risk.

2. Permissionless and Non-Custodial

   1. Permissionless

      AMMs provide a unique feature allowing for the listing of any ERC20 token. Using this feature, LPDfi protocols can support various token pairs and offer a wide range of financial products like futures and options. In contrast, traditional centralized exchanges face challenges in listing 99% of tokens due to strict regulatory requirements and complex trading setups.

   2. Non-Custodial

      LPDfi can offer a significant advantage by giving users complete control over their digital assets. All user’s assets are managed on chain via transparent, verified smart contracts.

3. Higher Returns for Liquidity Providers

   By providing liquidity to the LPDfi protocol, liquidity providers can expect improved returns. In most LPDfi protocols, the position of a Liquidity Provider is represented as an ERC1155 token, allowing flexible utilization of the provider's assets. Meanwhile, Uniswap V3 represents LP tokens as ERC721 (NFTs). In option protocols like Panoptic or Dopex, liquidity providers lend their assets to option traders and receive premiums in return. Unborrowed tick positions continue to earn DEX fees. This is expected to mitigate significant risks for liquidity providers, such as Impermanent Loss (IL) and Loss of Value Risk (LVR).

4. Flexible Design in protocol leveraging DEX

   LPDfi protocol allows for flexible settings of various parameters enabling users to tailor settings to their specific needs. This flexibility encompasses the management of liquidation risks, dependence on oracles, adjustments in leverage, and the selection of maturity dates. This customizable approach stands in stark contrast to the rigid structures often encountered in traditional centralized exchanges, thereby providing a more dynamic and user-responsive trading environment.

   For example,

   1. Oracle-Free

      The LPDfi protocol allows for price discovery without relying on oracles by utilizing DEXs. It also enables more flexible designs concerning leverage and liquidation by utilizing the provided liquidity positions. Some DeFi derivatives use oracles, which have risks of manipulation and often depend on data from centralized exchanges, showing their vulnerability. These factors highlight the significance of using AMMs in the derivatives market.

   2. Leverage and Liquidation

      By integrating AMMs, LPDfi introduces an advanced system for leverage and liquidation, offering both versatility and precision. This innovative framework enables users to partake in perpetual options trading with up to 10x leverage, and in perpetual futures trading with leverage that can extend up to 1000x. This substantial leverage amplifies potential profits, but it is crucial to note that it also significantly increases the potential risks involved. This strategic enhancement diversifies the trading landscape, equipping users with a trading framework that is both adaptable and responsive to market needs. Let’s illustrate this with an example of an 'InfinityPools':

      Suppose a user provides liquidity to an ETH-USDC pair at $1,000. This liquidity is placed at a $900 price tick. A trader wants to build a long-leveraged position on ETH. In InfinityPools, the trader borrows the LP token provided by the liquidity provider, which is 1,000 USDC, using 100 USDC as margin, and exchanges it for 1 ETH. This is equivalent to trading with 10x leverage. Now, consider three scenarios:

      Scenario 1:
      If the price of ETH reaches $1,200, the trader swaps 0.83 ETH for 1,000 USDC and returns it to the liquidity provider, keeping the remaining 0.17 ETH as profit.

      Scenario 2:
      If ETH's price drops to $901, the trader swaps 1 ETH for USDC, but since the current price of ETH is $901, they are short by 99 USDC. Hence, the initially deposited collateral of $100 is used.

      Scenario 3: If the price of ETH falls to $500, the trader returns ETH to the liquidity provider. Since the current price is below $900, dropping to $500, the token to be returned changes from USDC to ETH. The LP's position, initially provided at $900 for 1,000 USDC, equates to about 1.11 ETH. Since the trader holds 1 ETH, they need to acquire an additional 0.11 ETH.

      This shows that regardless of ETH's price changes, only $100 collateral is needed. To achieve higher leverage, traders borrow liquidity closer to the current price. Continuing with the assumption, if a trader borrows 1,000 USDC provided at $999, and swaps 1 ETH at a rate of 999 USDC, in case of a price drop, they need to return 1.001 ETH. Here, a collateral of just $1 is sufficient.

Conclusion

LPDfi protocol marks a significant innovation in decentralized finance, especially in the derivatives market. LPDfi vault on Limitless

Orange Finance is a protocol specialized in earning real yields from AMMs on Arbitrum. Currently, we deliver stable real yields to users as ALM by managing liquidity and hedging/adjusting market risks.

On top of the Limitless, we will provide an LPDfi Vault which earns both trading fees and loan fees with an optimized price range, implementing a delta-hedging strategy to mitigate losses from market volatility.

By integrating with the Orange Finance vault, users on Limitless can earn passive yields without dealing with complexities like setting price ranges, rebalancing, or implementing LP hedging strategies.

The overview of the LPDfi vault on Limitless

• Pool: ETH-USDC pool on Limitless

• Chain: Arbitrum

• Deposit Asset: USDC

• Eligibility: Open to anyone

• Strategy:

  The vault implements a delta-neutral strategy by using Aave. A portion of deposited USDC is collateralized on Aave, and ETH is borrowed from them. As the ETH position is borrowed, even if the ETH price decreases, the vault can hedge a portion of losses compared to an unhedged position.

• Price range:

  The price range is set by simulating volatility with statistical and financial models and parameters.

Why is the LPDfi vault on Limitless?

On normal v3 AMMs, only a portion of the capital is active in generating trading fees, with the rest sitting idle. With Limitless, liquidity providers can earn higher returns by lending out the capital not engaged in trading activities.

We believe Limitless enhances the profitability of liquidity provisioning.
