            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In this article, we dive into ELIP-008 — EigenLayer’s major Multi-Chain Verification upgrade — and explore not only how it works from a technical standpoint, but also what it means for the broader Web3 ecosystem from a strategic, marketing, and economic perspective.</p><hr><h3 id="h-what-is-multi-chain-verification" class="text-2xl font-header !mt-6 !mb-4 first:!mt-0 first:!mb-0"><strong>🌐 What Is Multi-Chain Verification?</strong></h3><p>Traditionally, EigenLayer operated solely on Ethereum L1. AVSs (Actively Validated Services) consumed staking and security directly from Ethereum, making integration with other chains costly, complex, and trust-heavy.</p><p>With ELIP-008, this changes. AVSs can now operate verifiably across many EVM chains. The process begins when an AVS requests multi-chain deployment by registering with the CrossChainRegistry. This triggers a step called <strong>Generation Reservation</strong>.</p><p>Once registered, the AVS uses an OperatorTableCalculator to define how each operator in its Operator Set is weighted. These weights (e.g. 30%, 40%, 30%) are then used to compute a global Merkle root representing all AVS operator weights and delegations. This root is transported to the target chains.</p><hr><h3 id="h-how-does-verification-work" class="text-2xl font-header !mt-6 !mb-4 first:!mt-0 first:!mb-0"><strong>🧾 How Does Verification Work?</strong></h3><p>On the target chain (e.g., Base, Optimism), a contract called CertificateVerifier is deployed. It consumes the Merkle root and operator weights, and uses them to verify certificates — signed outputs by operators for off-chain tasks.</p><p>This enables on-chain consumers (e.g., apps, bridges, or rollups) to trust that:</p><ul><li><p>The AVS output was signed by a sufficient percentage or absolute value of stake.</p></li><li><p>Those signatures were created by registered and eligible operators.</p></li><li><p>The data is recent, secure, and compliant with slashing rules.</p></li></ul><p>If all checks pass, the AVS output is accepted and processed. Otherwise, it’s rejected or potentially penalized.</p><hr><h3 id="h-why-does-this-matter" class="text-2xl font-header !mt-6 !mb-4 first:!mt-0 first:!mb-0"><strong>🧠 Why Does This Matter?</strong></h3><p>This system allows AVSs to scale horizontally across chains without building custom bridges or duplicating infrastructure. It enables cryptoeconomic security across chains without sacrificing decentralization.</p></li><li><p><strong>Place</strong>: EVM chains like Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and more. Avalanche prioritizes decentralization and scalability while protecting the network against DDoS, cyber, and collusion attacks.</p><p>Importantly, Avalanche is also <strong>environmentally friendly</strong>: the entire network uses roughly the same energy as about <strong>42 U.S. households</strong>, representing only about <strong>0.0005%</strong> of Bitcoin’s energy consumption. This makes it an energy-efficient alternative for blockchain users and developers.</p><p>Consensus Mechanism: Snowball &amp; Intuition</p><p>Avalanche’s consensus mechanism is unique and is often referred to as the <strong>Snowball Algorithm</strong>. Evde de bazı teknik hazırlıklar devam edince yeni video çekmeye fırsat bulamadım. Ama artık Temmuz ayı boyunca daha serbest bir zaman dilimim var. Bu süreçte bol bol içerik üretmeye odaklanacağım.</p><p>Bu yolculukta özellikle blockchain camiasının hem maddi hem manevi desteği bana büyük moral veriyor.</p><p>Ayrıca Türkiye’de bu işi ilk başlatan insanlar bile videolarımı izleyip <em>“Araştırmacı gibi işler çıkarabilirsin”</em> demeye başladı. Bu benim için anlatılamaz bir mutluluk. 🙏</p><p>🎓 Mühendislik + İşletme Bakışı</p><p>Bir yandan eski bir mühendislik öğrencisi, bir yandan yeni bir işletme öğrencisi olarak iki farklı disiplini birleştirebildiğim için blockchain anlatımında fark yaratabileceğime inanıyorum.</p><p>☁️ Gelelim Bugünün Konusuna: EigenCloud</p><p>Peki, gelelim asıl konumuza: EigenCloud. Bu alan neden önemli? Kripto ağlarında her zaman iki temel kavram vardır:</p><ul><li><p>Doğrulanabilirlik (Verifiability)</p></li><li><p>Programlanabilirlik (Programmability)</p></li></ul><p>Bir blockchain ağı verifiability’de güçlü olabilir ama programmability düşük kalabilir ya da tam tersi. Örneğin Bitcoin’in işlem doğrulaması güçlüdür ama programlanabilirliği sınırlıdır. Ethereum ise EVM sayesinde programlanabilirlik sunar ama işlem kapasitesi sınırlı olabilir.</p><p>⚖️ Delta X’in Hipotenüsü</p><p>Burada hedef, bu iki ucu optimum noktada birleştirmek. Ben buna esprili şekilde <em>“Delta X’in hipotenüsünü almak”</em> diyorum. Yani yüksek performans ve yüksek programlanabilirliği aynı anda sağlayan bir denge noktası.</p><p>Layer 2 çözümleri bu açığı kapatmak için devreye giriyor. Bu sayede bir <em>world state machine</em> yani dağıtık bir dünya durumu makinesi kurmak mümkün oluyor. Burada EVM mantığı devreye giriyor ve Gene Cloud da tam bu noktada rol oynuyor.</p><p>🔮 Oracle Servisleri &amp; Compute</p><p>Bir diğer kritik konu: Oracle servisleri. Oracle’lar off-chain veriyi (örneğin fiyat verisi, hava durumu) alıp on-chain dünyaya taşır. Compute altyapısı sayesinde bu geçiş daha verimli hale gelir.</p><p>Örneğin veri akışı, blockchain’in gerçek dünyayla senkron olmasını sağlar.</p><p>ZKTLS gibi yapıların da opacity üzerinden gerçek dünya ile WEB3 servisi sağladığını biliyorum ancak burada daha fazla araştırma yapmak gerektiğini de ekleyeyim. Bu konuyla ilgili ayrı bir video hazırlayacağım.</p><p>🪙 EigenToken ve Konsensüs</p><p>EigenCloud içerisinde <em>EigenToken</em> gibi mekanizmalar da var. Burada mantık şu: Eigen token’ı fork edilebilir (çatallanabilir) bir yapı sunar. Eğer bir konsensüs sorunu çıkarsa veya istemediğiniz bir durum olursa %51 saldırılarına karşı koruma sağlanır.</p><p>🔗 Delegasyon Zinciri: Staker → Operator → AVS</p><p>EigenLayer’da delegasyon zinciri şu şekilde işler:</p><ul><li><p>Staker’lar token’larını operator’lara delege eder.</p></li><li><p>Operator’lar bu gücü AVS’lere aktarır.</p></li><li><p>Slashing ve unique staking mekanizması devreye girer.</p></li></ul><p>Buradan <em>redistribution</em> yani yeniden dağıtım modeli doğar. To punish malicious actors and secure AVSs.</p><p>💧 <strong>Native vs. Liquid Staking</strong> Both <strong>native ETH</strong> and <strong>liquid staking tokens</strong> (like Lido’s stETH) are restakeable — and, based on my research, <strong>slashable</strong> as well.</p><p>That means the protocol must handle slashing fairly — and flexibly.</p><p>🧩 <strong>Enter Unique Staking</strong> EigenLayer enables <em>unique staking</em> — where your staked ETH is split across multiple AVSs. Example: 50% to AVS A 30% to AVS B 20% to AVS C</p><p>This lets you spread risk and optimize rewards.</p><p>♻️ <strong>Now, the Star of the Show: Redistribution (ELIP-006)</strong> Previously, slashed ETH was just gone — burned or locked.
