[SurferInvestor] Could you please introduce yourself as a founder? What is your background?

[0xSilkRoad]** **Sure, I’m 0xSilkRoad, the founder of TeaParty. Before immersing myself full-time for TeaParty, I came from a background as a lead dev for a corporate.
Also to mention, I have led multiple projects for a government before. So pretty much an experienced Web2 dev in the past.
In terms of Web3 experience, I worked on a Web3-related project under a friend of mine before doing TeaParty.

[SurferInvestor] How did you come up with the idea of TeaParty?

[0xSilkRoad]** **The idea of TeaParty came along in the early days of my studies at University. However, I couldn’t execute my idea because of the financial situation at that time, which limited my freedom to explore new things and work on my project.

The original idea of TeaParty appeared mainly due to my willingness to help promote small game projects developed by the so-called “indie game developers”. I also very well understood how difficult it is to get traction and market those projects. The teams literally had no resources and faced difficulty marketing their games during that time.
My idea was to build a point-based system for social and in-turns getting rewarded.

Fast forward to today, thinking back with the same idea, with the introduction of blockchain and its infrastructure, I restructured my original idea and executed it with the knowledge of Web3.

[SurferInvestor] What item in the roadmap gets you the most excited?

[0xSilkRoad]** **I would say the “Social-&-Earn” is my biggest motivation and it inspired me the most when I designed the blueprint (became an NFT).
Another big reason would be the technology of Web3 and tokenization things empowered my idea and pushed me with a good sense that this might work.

[SurferInvestor] Why should I use TeaParty as a user? What problem does it solve?

[0xSilkRoad]** **TeaParty is a platform that allows any user to get their words out. Especially if you’re a new business owner, young creator, or inspired to become an influencer.

The idea behind basically comes with a simple act that “help others when they are in need, and in return, the others will help you back when you are in need”.

So, the TEA token is like an IOU, which can be earned if you help share the words about other people’s works, and in return, you will get helped when needed.

You don’t really use it all the time unless you’re looking for good advice about your career, or a new job, or you are in HR and hunting for candidates. So TeaParty will fit into such a category too.

The cryptocurrency sector is gaining an increasing amount of investor attention, and new crypto projects sprout by the dozen virtually every month. This fascination also attracts people with nefarious motives who seek to profit from the current trend. The $2.61 trillion cryptocurrency market contained roughly 8,710 cryptocurrencies as of December 3, 2021.

As a result of this enthusiasm, it is becoming increasingly difficult to verify the authenticity of tokens and cryptocurrency projects, and investors are frequently duped. Find the project’s website, white paper, and other important information.

The SquidGames Token page’s Linkedin page is empty, and the roadmap appears to have been prepared in 5 minutes with no details. The white paper is also devoid of content, with no use case, technical details, and an air of disrespect. The auditor who presented “TechRate” simply checks the code, which does not imply that the project is valid. One strategy to lessen suspicion is to make sure that the project has been audited.

Follow the creators and the founding team

It’s critical to learn everything you can about the game’s creators, developers, and management team. On social media, there should be enough of information about them. There is cause for concern if the creators are unknown. You should be able to learn about their talents, previous experience, and social media connections (Linkedin, Twitter, etc.).

Aside from spelling errors, we can observe on the Squid Game project that the crew does not provide any information about their talents, expertise, or a link to their Linkedin profile, instead opting for suspicious Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Look at the contract’s address and the remarks.

Copying the contract’s address into Google or the “Blockchain Explorer” site is a fairly simple technique to evaluate if the project appears to be real. There is a plenty of useful information there:

• Number of holders,

• market capitalization,

• total supply,

• but most importantly, community feedback.

Comments can raise a red flag right away and rescue the day. Always remember to keep an eye out. You can paste the contract address at https://bscscan.com if it’s a Binance Smart Chain (BSC) project. If it’s an Ethereum-based project, you can paste the contract address into https://etherscan.io/.

Keep an eye out for imposters.

It is also commonly known that investors value the advice of well-known individuals. Scammers frequently produce bogus videos starring these well-known figures in order to deceive investors. In such circumstances, more investigation is frequently beneficial. Investors should follow information back to its source to ensure its accuracy.

Telegram is a secure and fast cloud-based mobile and desktop messaging application. It was founded in 2013 by Russian brothers Nikolai and Pavel Durov and has since risen in popularity to become a stand-alone tool for crypto and trading enthusiasts. Today it have more than half a billion active monthly users.

Shareholders have a say in the economical strategy of the club – for example, they can vote for a merger and acquisition or the salary of the CEO. As a holder of a Fan Based Token, you can only influence non-economical strategy – at the distraction of the club. As a shareholder, you are entitled to proceeds of the company in case of liquidation. Which you probably won’t in the case of a Fan Based Token.

Currently, by creating a “Fan Token Offering (FTO)” linked to its team, Chiliz is the spearhead of the socios.com platform which allows any sports organization to monetize its fans. How FTOs work on the Socios platform

Fan Token Offerings work like this:

• First the sale of tokens (Fan Token Offering or FTO) is carried out by the platform-settling sports organization. For sale at a given price and in limited quantities, a limited number of tokens are offered.

• Fans have varying influence over the choices, depending on the number of chips a team owns. It is possible to exchange them for CHZ afterwards when all the tokens from the FTO are sold.

Concrete example of the operation of the socios.com platform

Here is a concrete example of how a new team’s arrival on the platform works:

• Take two teams, Barça and Juventus, for instance. The platform will create two separate tokens, one for each team, when these teams arrive on socios.com. We’re going to call them $ BAR and $ JUV.

• These teams then decide on the number of tokens to be put into circulation and the price associated with the token, fixed during the ‘FTO’. For example, $ BAR may have chips of 40,000,000 and a € 1 prize, while $ JUV may have chips of 20,000,000 and a € 2 prize.

• Each time a team submits something to the vote, according to the formula 1 token=1 vote, each holder of a token will be able to give his opinion.

• Currently, on socios, only football is represented. But other sports, as well as electronic sports, will follow in the future (also called e-sports).

The technical functioning of the platform

Socios uses two different blockchains to operate . A “permissioned sidechain” was the first and the Ethereum blockchain was the second.

• Permitted sidechain”permissioned sidechain”permitted sidechain. Actually, it is a copy of Ethereum, but modified to only be dedicated to Chiliz. The business model of Chiliz

Chiliz had to develop a business model that allowed it to collect revenue in order to be economically viable. Here’s how the latter functions:

• Transaction fees will be charged each time a user makes a transaction on the Socios platform .

• The votes, however, will still be free once the tokens are in the fans’ possession.

• Part of the transaction fees will be received by teams and entities that use the Socios platform.

• The money collected will go directly to the crates of the team concerned during the purchase of the tokens.

• Therefore, this will encourage teams to register and generate revenue by encouraging the public to use the platform.

CHZ Token Information

 There are 3 uses of the Chiliz token (CHZ): 

• It allows you to participate in votes on the platform of Socios. 

• The token allows you to purchase tokens on the platform from FTO. 

• It will enable you to make purchases in-game, take part in challenges and collect certain items. It is set for the year 2020.

Token destruction and the blocking mechanism: 

• Socios will burn 20 percent of the transaction charges collected in CHZ. 

• 10% of the commissions received by Chiliz during an FTO will be burned and 3 months will be blocked by the CHZ collected by the teams. 

• It will burn 20 percent of the CHZ commissions collected when purchasing collectibles.

Distribution information for tokens: 

• It has a total of CHZ 8,888,888,888. 

• 34.5 percent belong to investors who participated in the private placement that preceded the ICO, 20 percent serve as a reserve, 15 percent will be used for marketing operations, 15 percent will be used for strategic acquisitions, 7.5 percent belong to the very first investors (seed investors), 5 percent have been given to the team and 3 percent have been used to remunerate the consultants. 

• Tokens that are not yet in circulation are planned for release as follows: 

  • From January 2020 onwards, 5% of the team’s tokens will be unlocked at a rate of 3% per month. Therefore it will take a little less than 3 years to fully unlock them. 

  • The 3% advisor-reserved tokens and the 7.5% original investor-owned tokens will all be released in July 2020. 

  • Starting in July 2019, reserve, marketing and strategic acquisition tokens, representing 50% of the total CHZ, will be unlocked at 7.7% every 3 months. Then, up to 7.7 percent will always be unlocked as of January 2021, but this time every 6 months

How to store your CHZ?

Nevertheless, keep in mind that it will take time for this project to become known. The CHZs blocked to publicize the project will only be released at 7.7 percent every 3 months for half a year or 46.2 percent at the end of this period, as we saw above in the distribution of tokens. They will then be released at the same rate but every 6 months, meaning it will take a total of more than 4 and a half years for all the project’s tokens to be in circulation.

Ultimately, the burn system put in place will make it possible to reduce the total quantity considerably, which will increase the value of the CHZs mechanically. If a craze for the project on the part of many sports federations is added to this, then it is a safe bet that Chiliz’s price may increase significantly in the years that follow.

Then it might be worth putting some of your savings into it if you are interested in the project. Be mindful, though, that this is a very long-term project. DeFi Land, a blockchain gamification platform, has raised $4.1 million in funding to develop a new decentralized finance game on Solana, showing the SOL ecosystem’s growing importance. Over 40 investors took part in the round, including some of the most well-known names in the blockchain venture capital industry. Among the primary investors were Animoca Brands, Alameda Research, Jump Capital, NGC Ventures, Solana Foundation, and Gate.io.

DeFi Land combines “two of the most intriguing things happening in crypto right now — gaming and DeFi,” according to Brian Lee, a senior executive at Alameda Research. Casual gamers and crypto users will be more likely to access the decentralized finance sector for the first time as a result of this.
