Final Phase

Both Linea Voyage and Linea Park have come to their conclusions. If you are new, do not fret, there are still tasks you can do to participate. With that said, lets look at what comes next.

Linea have announced the final phase of their epic airdrop campaign, Linea Voyage: The Surge.

“Linea Surge is an LXP-driven program that enables people to collect LXP-L in return for having assets on Linea and deploying those assets into protocols.

The goal for The Surge is allow users that provide liquidity on the network to collect LXP-L. LXP-L is similar to the system we have in place today for LXP, but is collected by contributing liquidity to Linea.” - Whitepaper

This phase is centred around liquidity and they have announced a new dashboard for you to monitor and manage it - we will update with links once they release it.

This stage will involve adding money to the Linea chain and leaving it there - i.e. staking, lending, etc. They also have a mandatory minimum cap of 0.1 ETH in order to be eligible for this phase.

They have clearly stated that earlier supporters get rewarded more, so do not hesitate on this one (you can register here) and get onboard quickly.

The Earlier You Participate = The Higher Your Reward

Supplying assets on the Linea blockchain will reward you with LXP-L points, which at the end of the phase (approx. 6 months - October) will be changed into LXP. LXP can be traded for the Linea token once it is launched.

We cannot stress this enough, but you NEED to REGISTER first. If you do not register for Linea Surge and provide liquidity, you will NOT earn LXP-L.

Linea will be rewarding the earliest adopters more, so register as soon as you can - your signup date will be displayed and recorded and from this point on, your wallet is eligible to collect LXP-L.

Supplying the Liquidity

There are different routes you can take for this step. If you have your own method, that is fine, use that, but this is the best method we know of and is a no-brainer, especially if you are also farming ZeroLend & EigenLayer on top of Linea. See the image below for the full list of rewards.

This also rewards you with Turtle Points. If you are not already collecting them, you may as well sign up, it costs nothing, otherwise the points you are farming are just going to waste. You can sign-up for Turtle Club here and if asked for a code you can use BONUSXP

This method will reward you with multiple points for airdrops across several services, all in one go.

This first step is to head over to Renzo, where you can swap your ETH for ezETH (min 0.1 ETH). This will enable the collection of ezPoints & EigenLayer Points.

Once you have your ezETH, head over to ZeroLend, launch Zero Gravity and register for the airdrop.

Once you have registered go to the dashboard where you will supply the ezETH. This will enable the collection of LXP-L and Turtle Points.

Connect your wallet, then be sure to select the Linea Market:

Scroll down and in the ‘Assets to supply‘ box you should see ezETH.

Click the ‘Supply’ button.

If you wish to borrow against your supplied assets, then make sure the ‘Isolated’ switch is toggled on.

NOTE: Borrowing against your assets introduces risk, especially if borrowing a different asset to the one which you staked - price fluctuations can liquated your supplied collateral.

If borrowing ETH against ezETH you are not risk free - any price disparities can cause you problems if you are not careful.

If you are a degen you can borrow ETH, use that ETH to get more ezETH on Renzo, then add that ezETH to your supply on Zerolend, effectively increasing your points yield beyond what your initial supply could. You can repeat this multiple times if your feeling brave, but keep an eye on your health factor. If that falls below 1 you get liquidated - this is not recommended, do so at your own risk.

Alternatively, you could not borrow at all and your funds are SAFU with no risk of liquidation.

Once you have supplied (and borrowed if you choose to) you are done. There is nothing left to do. Sit back and relax for 6 months and watch your points accumulate in the dashboard.

To maximize the benefits of CARV, it’s recommended to link your social and gaming accounts, along with your wallets. If you possess a Steam profile, connecting it can be particularly beneficial. Claim a .play name

While minting a .play name to tie to your CARV ID is not required, it might be a good idea to do so.

Mine SOUL

Now that you have your account all set up, you can get into the juicy stuff. The obvious place to start is the free SOUL that you can mine daily. We use the term mine very loosely, it is more of a click and collect situation.

It is distributed across 4 chains and for 3 of them you will need a small amount of funds on each chain to pay for gas:

4. Linea

The daily mining capacity is clearly indicated on the page and it progressively increases as your account levels up. This capacity is also influenced by accounts and wallets you connect.

Complete quests, ‘carv’ badges, earn rewards

CARV offers more than just SOUL. By completing quests, users can earn XP and GEMS. XP aids in leveling up your account, which in turn increases the amount of SOUL you can mine. GEMS serve as a currency within the CARV universe. CARV also features a store where items such as raffle tickets, CARV cosmetics, games, and in-game items can be purchased.

The CARV ecosystem is teeming with quests and events, with new ones being added daily. It is also beneficial to join the CARV discord as a lot of events simply involve joining a voice or streaming channel and listening/watching. Put it on in the background if you wish and then just collect the rewards when they become available. There is a lot of these, so utilising the #game-calendar channel in the Discord server is a must, to keep on top of things.

If all that seems like too much work, don’t worry, there are plenty of other less time consuming tasks that you can do to boost your account and work your way through the season pass.

It is definitely worth levelling up your account, as this directly affects the amount of SOUL that you can mine daily. Higher Level = More SOUL.

CARV Pass

The CARV Pass, or the season pass, allows you to collect XP, GEMs, SOUL and other rewards for completing tasks and levelling up your account. As of writing, season 4 has just come to its conclusion and season 5 should be kicking off sometime soon.

It is worth monitoring this as it offers extra tasks for things like completing quests, logging in daily, carving badges, etc. It is essentially rewards on top of rewards. It also offers weekly and monthly tasks which reset accordingly and can be repeated.

Making your way through the pass rewards you with things such as ‘Power’, mystery boxes, Discord roles, cosmetics, NFTs, XP, GEMs, SOUL and more.

We won’t go into to much detail on this as it is literally an entire article in itself, which can be viewed here. It is worth reading as it explains ‘Power’ and the reward system really well.

Carv your Steam badges

If you’ve linked your Steam account, a brief scan will reveal some badges eligible for ‘carving’. This guide will walk your through the steps to receive digital assets such as your cryptocurrencies or NFTs on Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana using your newly created or imported Phantom wallet.

Task 3: Visit marginfi and connect your wallet

Head over to marginfi and connect your wallet by clicking the button in the top right corner.

Task 4: Mint LST

This is not mandatory and you can supply other tokens to marginfi (such as SOL) if you wish, however it may make more sense to mint LST, directly in the marginfi app, and then supply that to the pool.

The highest natural yield available from any LST on Solana. By a lot.

• LST only stakes to 0% commission mrgn validators

Minting list will also increase your points, so you are in effect “killing two birds, with one stone”

Steps:

1. Click ‘mint’ in the top navigation bar.

2. Select your token & set amount.

3. Click ‘Mint LST’ and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Task 5: Lend to marginfi

Points are earned for lending to marginfi. You can lend any amount and earn points, the more you lend, the bigger your multiplier of points. Don’t overstretch yourself, lend only what is right for you.

1. Click ‘lend’ on the top navigation bar.

2. Choose your token and set amount (e.g. LST if you minted it)

3. Click the ‘Supply’ button and confirm in your wallet.

You can withdraw your funds whenever you wish, however doing so will result in you no longer earning points.

Task 6: Borrow from marginfi

You can now borrow against the funds you have supplied. This task will also earn you points. The amount you borrow will determine how many points you earn. You can borrow any amount, and you must pay it back in order to release your supplied funds.

1. Click ‘lend’ on the top navigation bar.

2. Choose the ‘borrow’ tab

3. Choose your token you wish to borrow

4. Click the ‘Borrow’ button and confirm in your wallet.

These funds will be sent to your wallet. Be careful here and watch the health factor and make a not of the liquidation price. If the token price falls below, your funds will be liquidated. Please note, this is completely optional and you do not have to borrow funds. Lending funds and not borrowing against them, ensures your funds are safe and you cannot get liquidated. You simply won’t earn points for borrowing.

HIGH RISK: For the degens, another option is to borrow max funds, then use those funds to mint more LST. Then add that LST to your supply to bring your health factor to a more comfortable level. You can repeat this step multiple times, but it becomes riskier each iteration. Also remember that you must pay this back in order to fully retrieve your funds and a large price change could make this more expensive, providing you do not get liquated. On the other hand it could make it cheaper and then its win-win for you. Use according to your own risk tolerance and monitor the health factor & liquidation price. Doing this will increase your points multiplier beyond what your original funds could, but adds risk - use at your own peril.

That’s it, you are done. Just sit back and watch your points accumulate. If you are taking the degen route, monitor your health factors and liquidation prices. If it starts to become unhealthy be sure to supply some more funds to level it out, or payback some funds for the same result.

To achieve maximum points allocation, stake ETH on Renzo and get exETH in return. Leverage your ezETH holdings within the **ZeroLend **system by adding liquidity, using it as collateral to borrow, and restaking borrowed assets is suggested. This process can increase your points from 2x to 6x, potentially up to 12x depending on the loan-to-value ratio. It’s important to maintain your health factor above 1 to avoid risks. Additionally, borrowing and supplying the same asset does indeed grant points for both actions.

A little tricky, but a great multiplier hack and a no-brainer, especially if you are farming ZeroLend, EigenLayer and Linea. See the image below for the full list of rewards.

Follow these setps:

1. Supply ETH (on Linea) on Renzo and get ezETH in return.

2. Then supply that ezETH on ZeroLend.

3. Toggle the isolation tab to allow borrowing against your supplied asset.
