Truth Doesn’t Wear Clothes explores radical transparency, embodiment, and what it means to stop theorizing our truth and start living it. Through art, humor, and lived experience, this piece reflects on stripping away masks, embracing the human, and meeting ourselves without judgment.

Some philosophers spent their lives chasing truth through books, doctrines, or lofty ideas. Diogenes? He went outside, laughed at the world, and stripped it bare.

Diogenes of Sinope (c. 412–323 BCE) was a founder of the Cynic movement, a philosophical school devoted to radical honesty and rejecting societal pretenses. He famously lived in a large ceramic jar, or a barrel, depending on the story, slept with dogs, begged for food, and openly defied conventional morality. He urinated, masturbated, and called out public hypocrisy without shame, embodying his philosophy through action, not speculation. He tested societal norms and conventions daily, using humor, shock, and confrontation as tools for revealing truth.

This artwork, Diogenes, speaks to me in that same spirit. It’s about living truth boldly, confronting parts of ourselves often hidden or deemed private. By exploring and displaying these truths, through art, through the body, we acknowledge the humanity in all of us. No masks. No judgment. No prepackaged values. Just raw, lived reality.

In this piece, the butthole becomes a symbol of radical transparency. It’s intimate, humorous, confrontational, and unapologetically human. It invites the viewer to meet the truth directly: of the body, of desire, of existence.

What started as a digital art interpretation of my own body has grown into vinyl art, magnets, stickers, and prints, small everyday reminders to embrace honesty and boldness, to accept the human fully, and to see ourselves without shame. People have placed the stickers in work spaces, handed out pins as cheeky gifts, and I even had a pair of one-of-a-kind Diogenes shoes I wore on my waitressing shifts. Customers would always compliment them, and my coworkers and I would have a good giggle. Moments like these make the art come alive. It’s philosophy in motion, lived, laughed with, and shared.

Diogenes’ life reminds me that truth isn’t something to theorize about, it’s something to embody. History sometimes paints him as a clown, a provocateur, or a madman. But behind the spectacle lies a radical invitation: to strip away the masks, laugh at pretense, and meet life and ourselves directly.

Today, this lesson hit hard: Am I speculating on my truth, my intuition, my inner guidance or am I living it fully? I want to be like Diogenes: to embody my ideas, live my truth boldly, and confront life with fearless honesty.

If this piece speaks to you, you can find Diogenes as magnets, stickers, prints, and vinyl art in my Etsy shop, and I’m always open to creating custom Diogenes-inspired pieces.

Big love always-

PolyAnnie 🖤

Explore Aesthetics, from The Abstract Self—a reflection on beauty, chaos & creation. Now live on XRP Café with SEXRP rewards.

Each piece in The Abstract Self holds a conversation between body and mind, art and observer. The reflections are my way of listening back. After creating, I spend time with the image, feeling what it’s trying to express beyond words.

For Aesthetics, the photo I used came from a moment of beautiful chaos. My arms and hands covered in paint during the Blaze Stream Avalanche art contest, where I painted myself as Pyro and then fire danced. My painted body was a mess, but it was beautiful. My messes of art are always beautiful to me. The painting behind it was the first of many I created in spiraling motions, round and round, finding balance in color and motion.

In philosophy, aesthetics explores how we experience beauty, not as something fixed or defined, but as something that stirs us. It’s the meeting point between emotion and perception. Beauty isn’t a rule or a measure; it’s a vibration that moves through us. I feel it in rhythm, movement, color, sound, in anything that makes me feel alive.

That’s why abstraction compels me. It mirrors how life feels from the inside: unpredictable, layered, emotional. Abstract creation lets me dissolve control, to enter a kind of flow where beauty emerges from chaos. It’s in those raw, unplanned moments that I find the most meaning. The paint drips, the body moves, the mess forms patterns I couldn’t have imagined.

When I create, I’m not searching for perfection. I’m searching for presence. I want to feel beauty, not define it. Through abstraction, I can touch something that can’t be captured by clean lines or ideal forms. Chaos becomes harmony, emotion becomes color, and imperfection becomes truth.

My art lives in that tension between disorder and design, intention and surrender. That’s where beauty breathes for me.

The Aesthetics reflection is part of The Abstract Self, a collection that explores philosophical ideas through lived experience. Each piece opens a dialogue between the visual and the internal, accompanied by reflections that trace how I understand myself through art.
Metaphysics dissolves the body into color and energy, an exploration of what lies beyond the seen, where spirit and matter blur. Art on XRPL

Some things can’t be touched or named, yet we feel them in every breath.

Metaphysics explores what lies beyond the physical, the invisible threads that weave memory, emotion, and energy into form. The figure in this piece begins to dissolve into lines and color, blurring the boundaries between flesh and spirit, presence and absence.

In the image, I’m propped up by a chair- a grounding, physical object while my body and self dissolve into the painting itself. The blue vein-like marks were created by pressing my skin against the canvas, leaving an imprint that bridges two worlds. A trace of the body becomes something more: a conversation between seen and unseen, matter and energy.

My art has always been wrapped up in the metaphysical. I’m guided by forces I can’t fully comprehend, yet they move through me all the same. Just because we can’t see or measure something doesn’t mean it isn’t real. Some truths live in the spaces between. In intuition, in creation, in the unseen gestures that leave their mark long after we’ve moved on.

What lies beyond what we can see? Perhaps, everything.

Each reflection in The Abstract Self is part of a larger dialogue between art, philosophy, and the body.
Abstract nudes meet philosophy on XRPL. A digital collage series exploring identity, sensuality, and reflection, with SEXRP rewards.

I’ve always had a thing for combining my creative expressions into singular pieces. Reinventing moments of my life over and over again. Putting fragments together in new ways that tell a new story, but one still rooted in lived experience. Each piece honors my past, my present, and my future.

Why XRPL

I knew I wanted to create a collection on XRPL. Being part of the SEXRP community and experiencing their acceptance and appreciation of my work made me feel at home. It showed me that the XRP community is a place where my art belongs. Creating here gives me the chance to get further involved and contribute something meaningful.

The Creative Process

When I begin a collection, I start completely blank. The art always expresses itself through me. My role is to surrender to it, to flow with it, to listen. I don’t force concepts or themes; they emerge naturally once the energy starts moving.

Each piece becomes a reflection of that state, a record of where I was emotionally, spiritually, and creatively in that moment. The art dictates me, not the other way around. I follow instinct, color, body, and form until something clicks, until I recognize myself in it.

Creating art in this way feels like being both the artist and the observer, watching something unfold that I’m also a part of. It’s a delight and a surprise to me every time, a kind of playful adventure as the art reveals itself. Each piece begins as a mystery of sorts, and I get to discover it right alongside the viewer.

The Art Itself

The 8 pieces in The Abstract Self are digital collages that weave together fragments of my world - my paintings, my photography, and self-portraits. For this collection I layered unfinished paintings, textures, brushstrokes, and body imagery to create something that lives between the physical and digital.

Once the visual work is complete, the next part of the art becomes more mental and reflective. That’s when I begin listening to what my creation was trying to express, what it wanted me to understand or remember. It’s a process of integration, of weaving together my past creative journeys and reimagining those memories through movement and color.

Reflections & Philosophy

This is where the dialogue with the art truly begins. For me, creativity doesn’t end when the piece is finished, it transforms. Through reflection, I explore the messages my art sends back to me. The reflections are a way to translate what I intuitively expressed into language, to bridge the emotional and the intellectual.

As each piece is collected, I’ll share a written reflection (and possibly a video) to unpack the ideas, feelings, and philosophy behind it. These reflections are meant to spark thought and invite you into the dialogue.

Of course, maybe you just love nude art and sensual expression and that’s okay too! The art stands on its own and can simply be enjoyed visually. Or, if you’re drawn to the deeper exploration, you can dive into the philosophical side with me. Life is always a choose-your-own-adventure.

Collector Rewards

As each piece in The Abstract Self is collected, I’ll be rewarding collectors with SEXRP tokens as a thank-you for supporting both my art and the community that inspired it.

A total of 243mil $SXRP will be distributed across the eight pieces. Early collectors will receive higher amounts, with rewards gradually decreasing as the collection fills.

This isn’t just about rewards, it’s about connection. SEXRP represents the energy of community, creativity, and acceptance that made me feel at home here. Collecting these pieces means becoming part of that story, part of an ongoing experiment in how art, identity, and blockchain culture can merge.

Looking Ahead

The Abstract Self will likely be my final art collection for a while. After its release, I’ll be shifting focus toward new forms of creative and personal exploration.

I want to return to my music and cello practice, make time for movement and physical expression, and continue growing through discipline and flow. Professionally, I’m beginning to explore the creation of a PolyAnnie token and the development of a Wise Autonomous Organization (WAO) - an evolution of the DAO concept centered on wisdom, art, collaboration and tech.

In time, I plan to expand back into abstract performance art, and begin organizing talks, workshops, and community events around art, expression, and decentralized culture in 2026.

This collection feels like both an ending and a beginning. A moment of reflection before stepping into what’s next.

So, coming soon to XRP Cafe is The Abstract Self - an exploration of art, philosophy, and self through abstract nude forms. Check out the collection here: https://xrp.cafe/collection/abstractself

Stay Connected

As I move into this next chapter, I’ll be sharing updates on my creative evolution, token development, and future performances through my blog and socials.

If you’ve connected with my work, the art, the philosophy, or the journey itself, I’d love for you to stay in touch and grow alongside what’s coming next.

You can follow my ongoing reflections and future projects at https://beacons.ai/polyannie

This isn’t goodbye to art, it’s a deep breath before the next expression.

The Abstract Self Collection - https://xrp.cafe/collection/abstractself
