Context & examples

Look at the blockchain: you can mine and earn rewards, but if you try to cheat, the network rejects it. Incentives push you toward the right behavior, and the system grows stronger as a result. Fraud isn’t a concern, because the design makes honesty more profitable than dishonesty. Every system should work this way. We can’t rely on people to “do the right thing” by choice, the system itself must make it the only path to real benefit. That’s how corruption is prevented in any system or DAO.

Core idea: Governance shouldn’t expect virtue — it should engineer incentives so that virtue becomes the only profitable choice.
