We've chosen a 30-day period as a balance between these figures, providing a substantial period for habit formation while still being a manageable commitment. As for the 1-hour daily commitment, it's long enough to make meaningful progress but short enough to fit into a busy schedule.

Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this challenge will enhance your understanding, spark your curiosity in quantum technology, and help you build your personal brand in the Quantum Tech community.

How It Works:

1. Select Your Path: Choose to follow a learning path provided by Quantum Computing India (QCI) or pick your own path/book related to quantum computing.

2. Commit to Daily Learning: Dedicate at least one hour each day to learning about quantum computing. Consistency is key!

3. Share Your Learnings: Post your insights daily as a blog post, LinkedIn post, or Twitter thread. Remember to tag QCI and use the hashtag #Quantum30.

4. Participate in Weekly Catch-ups: Join weekly discussions with fellow participants to share your learnings and clarify any doubts.

5. Accumulate Points: Earn 1 point for each day's submission. After one week, the impressions on your post will be measured and normalized to a scale of 5, giving you additional points.

6. Climb the Leaderboard: Make your way up our leaderboard, which is open and visible to all. Weekly leaders and final leaders (top 3) will be announced and stand a chance to win exclusive gifts from QCI.

As we embraced the identity of "researchers," we understood the importance of continuous learning, real-time course correction, and constant innovation. One of our learning was the flywheel for the community.

As you can see, the entry point is “Skilled Facilitators”. People join a community to learn from them. But, humans, as we know, are flawed, blood pumping, waste excreting, virtue signaling, and value Sophisting. This made us think hard about these “skilled facilitators” as the face of a community, we might be better off if we have an inspirational and aspirational figure (past/future) than a living human.

Hence the idea of A.I. generated inspirational figures.

• We don’t mean this figure is unflawed but we have their work for us to be inspired by.

• We don’t mean living researchers are flawed and non-inspirational but it’s a less optimal choice than the figure we are gonna reveal.

Now, over to the community ambassador, Mr. SatyendrAI Nath Bose.

Yes, you read it right. We're bringing in an AI rendition of Mr. Bose to be the new face of our community. Our photographs of him might portray him as a regular, somewhat serious figure a.k.a. Boomer Uncle from the past, but trust us when we say he was anything but ordinary. Think of him as the Robert Downey Jr, nay, IronMan of his time - a true trailblazer, a revolutionary in his field.

Why Mr. Bose, you might ask?

It's simple - he embodies the spirit of relentless curiosity, the pursuit of knowledge, and groundbreaking innovation that we aspire to foster in our community. The very particles we study in quantum physics - bosons - are named after him!

Here are some things you might not know about this genius:

1. He is the author of “Planck’s Law and the Hypothesis of Light Quanta,” a paper that Albert Einstein not only agreed with but also translated into German and had published in Zeitschrift für Physik in 1924.

2. His work led to the creation of Bose-Einstein Statistics (QuantumStatistics) and subsequently the prediction of the existence of Bose-Einstein condensate.

3. He collaborated with Meghnad Saha to publish an equation for real gases.

4. Along with Meghnad Saha, established modern theoretical physics in India.

5. He served as the Vice-Chancellor of Visva-Bharati University in Santiniketan and held several prestigious positions in India, including being a National Professor.

6. His contributions to science were honored with the Padma Vibhushan in 1954.

7. The S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences was established in his honor in 1986.

8. Despite Seven Nobel Prizes being awarded for research related to his concepts, he never received a Nobel Prize himself.

9. A class of elementary particles, bosons, are named in his honor. (Of course!)

10. Perhaps most importantly, he was a paragon of perseverance. His paper deriving Planck’s quantum radiation law was initially overlooked, but he persevered and sent it directly to Einstein. This quality of perseverance, especially when working with the unknown, is a value we aim to instill in our community.

Similarly, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) leveraged the image of the late Chef Tarla Dalal for their ready-to-eat meals. Using her cherished recipes to create the meals, they marketed their product with the warmth and authenticity her image continues to emanate.

Drawing inspiration from these instances, we have a surprise up our sleeve! We're about to unveil a brand ambassador for our community - someone who's no longer physically with us but continues to inspire and intrigue us with their monumental contribution to science. They've left us a legacy that's pivotal in our quantum journey, a legacy that's as mysterious and profound as the quantum world itself.

Who could this be, you ask? Here's a cryptic clue for you to chew on:

The first known brand ambassadors were probably royal endorsements in the United Kingdom. In the 18th century, Wedgwood, a manufacturer of pottery and chinaware, was appointed "Potter to Her Majesty" and allowed to use the royal coat of arms in his marketing, after Queen Charlotte liked his products. This was a significant boost to the brand's image and helped establish it as a top-quality producer.

In the modern era, the use of celebrity endorsements became popular in the 1970s and 1980s. Michael Jordan's partnership with Nike, which resulted in the Air Jordan line of sneakers, is one of the most iconic brand ambassador partnerships. Another example is George Foreman's endorsement of the Foreman Grill, which has sold millions of units.

Today, brand ambassadors can be celebrities, industry experts, or even customers. They use their influence to increase brand awareness, improve brand image, and drive sales. In the age of social media, "micro-influencers" (people with a relatively small but highly engaged following) are often used as brand ambassadors.

As for communities having brand ambassadors, it's less common but not unheard of. Online communities, especially those focused around a particular product or lifestyle, might have individuals who are particularly engaged or influential within the community, and these individuals can act as informal brand ambassadors. They might not be officially recognized or paid by the community organizers, but their activities can have a similar impact: increasing engagement, attracting new members, and improving the community's image.

With this context, we started exploring who should be QCI’s ambassador and found the best one!

Preparing for an arrival that will make waves and particles of excitement in our quantum realm. An essence that resonates with a symphony of science, a name that echoes within the echoes of infinity. A figure who has woven the fabric of reality yet remains an enigma in the grand cosmic theatre. Can you guess the mystery QCI Community Ambassador?

On June 15th, 2001, an iconic film titled "Lagaan" was released, making history and leaving an indelible mark on Indian cinema. This year, June 15th marks not only the 22nd anniversary of that iconic film but also the rebirth of our Quantum Computing India (QCI) community​1​. A fascinating parallel is the story of the film's director, Ashutosh Gowariker, and our own journey at QCI.

Gowariker's first two directorial ventures, "Pehla Nasha" and "Baazi", though considered "safe", had not fared well at the box office. This dealt a blow to his confidence, and he yearned to create something completely different​. Similarly, QCI started with great enthusiasm and ambition. We embarked on a journey to explore the enthralling world of Quantum, and together we learned and built. But, just like Gowariker after his initial setbacks, we needed a moment to recompose...

Drawing inspiration from this tale, QCI is ready to relaunch on a grander scale, to explore and create in new and exciting ways. We've been working diligently behind the scenes, planning something revolutionary that combines the past, the present, and the future of Quantum Computing.

Just as Gowariker had a vision for a unique storyline where a crucial battle is resolved through a cricket match, we too have envisioned a unique way to reignite our journey. We are introducing a familiar figure from our shared love of Quantum, but in a new avatar, an AI ambassador who will guide us into this new era​.

As Gowariker pitched his unconventional idea to Aamir Khan, the actor was drawn in by the compelling narrative, deciding to act in the film if a suitable producer could be found​. The search for a producer was challenging, leading Khan to take the plunge and produce the film himself, bringing on board his then-wife, Reena Dutta, a novice in film-making​. Similarly, our community has faced its challenges but has remained resilient and innovative.

So, what's common between "Lagaan" and QCI? It's the spirit of resilience, the courage to innovate, and the determination to succeed against all odds.
