            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you were a high school basketball fanatic coming up in the early 2000’s, then you know HoopMixtape and BallisLife.</p><p>Two basketball media powerhouses feeding viewers&apos; passion with flashy highlight tapes of the top high school athletes and extensive national coverage.</p><p>Fast forward 14 years later and you have companies like Bleacher Report and Overtime. Small market athletes wanted more exposure and creators wanted an easier, direct path into sports. We saw the opportunity and, inspired by the framework of the companies above, married the two. Athletes gained the content needed to monetize their brand, and creators gained opportunity and compensation for their work.</p><h2 id="h-now-with-the-introduction-of-web3-we-are-doing-things-differently" class="text-3xl font-header !mt-8 !mb-4 first:!mt-0 first:!mb-0">Now, with the introduction of web3, we are doing things differently.</h2><p>Web3 is the next stage of the internet. It decentralizes the web and transfers ownership from large companies to communities but keeps the infrastructure and design of web2. In simpler terms, a group chats with a bank account that&apos;s centered around a shared vision.</p><p>As the world moves into web3 with the help of cryptocurrency and other technologies, we begin to ask different questions.</p><ul><li><p><strong>What could a community with a bank account achieve?</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>What would content created and owned by the creators and audience look like?</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>What would happen if the value of content creation went to the storyteller and not the platform?</strong></p></li></ul><h2 id="h-rampants-role-in-web3-is-this" class="text-3xl font-header !mt-8 !mb-4 first:!mt-0 first:!mb-0">Rampant’s role in web3 is this .....</h2><p>Building upon our progress, establish a global community of passionate contributors from creators to athletes to create crypto’s first community-led sports media network. This network will be powered by our utility native token and NFTs that will grant membership access into our ecosystem and products while rewarding members for participating and interacting.</p><p>This effort will eventually evolve into the Rampant DAO, which will be governed and owned by our community. Leveraging talent and knowledge, the community will deliver the sports industry a simple way to onramp into crypto, while providing entertaining and educational content and compelling real-life experiences. As a DAO, members will be able to vote and have a say on topics including but not limited to collective direction, content creation, product roadmap, and partnerships, making this a truly collaborative effort. Content and organizational expansion are driven and governed by the community while rewarding contributors for their efforts.</p><p>Our mission is to use the power of collaboration and web3 to bring the sports industry together while transferring ownership to the community. Accomplishing our mission will provide independent creators, fans, and athletes access to opportunities and compensation for their work and participation. Generate opportunities for athletes to control and monetize their brand.
