Initial Listing of HSF on MEXC Global is probably the most important event for Hillstone Finance in 2021. In the pre-listing campaign MEXC Kickstarter, HSF acquired 110,000% of the target voting rate, the highest number among all projects listing on the same day. After listing, the price of HSF has surged from $0.5 to $7, increasing by more than 1000%. HSF stayed at the top of the list for gaining the most increase in price.

There have been a myriad of investment interests from institutions to invest in Hillstone Finance. As a result, Hillstone has acquired million dollars of investment from global institutions including MEXC, HONGLIAN Capital, K11 labs.

Hillstone also signed a number of strategic partnerships: 4EVERLAND, LULU Market, DeepBrain Chain, MEXC, and U9 Club.

4EVERLAND is a Web 3.0 service provider. As the official Korean ambassador of 4EVERLAND, Hillstone will be hosting Web 3.0 service with 4EVERLAND as the sole business partner in Korea.

LULU Market is an NFT gameFi project that adopts P2P (play to produce) system. Users can receive actual products while playing LULU Market. Hillstone invested in LULU Market for its high growth potential.

DeepBrain Chain is a decentralized cloud service project based in China. Hillstone and DeepBrain Chain has been sharing a long term partnership as a global business partner. DeepBrain Chain aims to lower the computing cost in the AI computing by utilizing over 1000 non-used GPU distributed all over the world.

Another big event for Hillstone Finance in 2021 was the launch of Investors beta. The Mainnet service of Investors will be starting from Late Feb. Investors will allow users to invest in financial products without geographical constraints.

Following the launch of Investors beta, we designed an Investors beta launching event to let users experience the investment procedure firsthand by investing HSF in the event product “Hillstone DeFi Fund I”.

Through this event, we acknowledged that the high transaction fee discouraged users from using our platform. Therefore, we have decided to bridge our ERC-20 HSF to BEP-20 HSF, and improve the user interface of Investors.

Using Web2, we are all familiar with logins and sign ups. In fact we only need an e-mail and a password which are then stored in a database to allow us connecting later and also persist login when available.

But, what Web3 has brought is a new way to manage user’s data and more particularly the way we can authenticate it.

Through code examples, i will show you how to manage the authentication, the Web3 way:

First thing first, let’s install Moralis SDK for React, that will provide us all the data we need and the login state management.

Moralis will act as a data provider through your entire app, that’s why we have to wrap our <App> Component with the <MoralisProvider>

You’ll need to give your appId and serverUrl to the MoralisProvider, that you’ll find on your Moralis DashBoard through Servers > “your server name” > View Details.

Once done, you can create a specific component to handle your login or do it wherever you want.

Then, we will use the useMoralis() hook to handle the authentication state.

That way, when the user is not currently logged in, he can authenticate clicking the “Authenticate” button. That will launch the authentication process using Metamask wallet thanks to the authenticate() function from Moralis SDK. Finally, when logged in, we display the public wallet address of the user.

Note: All the public data of the wallet will be contained in the ‘user’ variable returned by the useMoralis() hook when the user will finish the login process.

Now you may want to use other wallets than Metamask, that’s why we will see how to authenticate users through Wallet Connect, that allow you to chose between dozens of different wallets. Also, Wallet Connect offers a fully responsive login management. That way, users of your app will be able to connect, even using a mobile phone… that’s nice!
