Ronaldo began his career with the youth teams of Andorinha and Nacional before signing with Sporting CP at the age of 16. He made his professional debut for Sporting in 2002 and soon caught the attention of scouts from top European clubs.

In 2003, Ronaldo signed with Manchester United, where he won three Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League title. In 2009, he moved to Real Madrid for a then-world-record transfer fee of €94 million. He went on to win four Champions League titles and two La Liga titles with the Spanish club.

In 2018, Ronaldo transferred to Italian club Juventus for a fee of €100 million. He has also had great success with the Portuguese national team, winning the European Championship in 2016 and the UEFA Nations League in 2019.

Ronaldo is known for his exceptional speed, agility, and goal-scoring ability. He has won numerous individual awards, including five Ballon d'Or awards, and has scored over 700 career goals for club and country.
