            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>C114 News (9ix) 7 May, 2023 China Mobile 5G Development Congress, on the theme “Uniting 5G Innovation for All” was held in the State of Henan Zheng. The Vice-President of the China Institute of Information and Communication Technology (CTI) stated at the General Assembly’s main forum that the building of our 5G network was guided by the principle of “reasonably super-preparedness”, that it was building global leadership and effectively supporting the innovative development of the 5G application of scale and the digital economy.</p><p>It further stated that the scaled-up of 5G applications is a development process that promotes the broader, deeper, higher-level, in-depth integration application of 5G in the real economy, with full digitization transition leading to a greater, overlapping, multiplier effect on economic and social development and achieving economic and social benefits.</p><p>5G Efficiency of industrial applications</p><p>The Royal Mission described the country’s construction of the five G Independent Group, the world’s most technologically advanced and scaled-up; the fiveG network, which has achieved positive results, has accelerated its outreach; and the fiveG industry virtual network, which has accelerated to cover national economic priorities.</p><p>On the one hand, the individual application drive of 5G showed that, as at the end of March 2023, our 5G users accounted for more than 36 per cent of mobile users, 5G for 43.4 per cent of mobile Internet access flows, and 5G for more effective applications. At the end of 2022, the size of our 5G industry was nearly 15,000, with priority industries being scaled up, such as industry, wisdom cities, health, education, and over 200 electricity and mining.</p><p>5G Initial construction of the integrated application technology industry. 5G technology supply capacity has been upgraded with standards, driving industry application associated technological innovation upgrades; 5G application of integrated industrial systems, initial construction of new product applications, continued expansion of customization of network products, beginning with deployment of end-to-model cluster types; and initial formation of a five-G application solution in priority industries and accelerated development of typical applications.</p><p>5G Integration application security system was initially developed. “Development and security are two-pronged and mutually reinforcing”, and infrastructure security, the deployment of differentiated security capabilities and the clarity of security responsibilities are key to guarantee scaled-up development for 5G applications.</p><p>5G Integration applies to multi-factorial ecological formation. Policy subsystems are largely established, business subsystems are under exploration and innovative subsystems are under development. Standard level: the Communications Industry, Vertical Industries Association has started to develop 5G application standards; the Industrial Organization level, 5G Applied Industries, and vertical industry associations have promoted the integration of 5Gs with industries; and the Centre for Innovation: the 5G Innovation Centre has developed a common technology platform for application of innovation for 5G.</p><p>Categorization policy for accelerated scale proliferation of 5G applications</p><p>It noted that the scaled-up of 5G applications should be driven by a two-way wheel on demand and supply side, coordinated, synergistic and integrated approach. She further pointed out that the five G development paths of scale-based application and industrial applications were different and should be disaggregated by industry to accelerate the proliferation of applications.</p><p>The first is the expansion of the industry. Categorization policy to strengthen the 5G application policy drive in the vertical sector; Joint industry to promote replication of the scale of application scenes in industries such as industrial manufacturing, mining, electricity, health, ports, where scale-enabled extension conditions exist.</p><p>The second is to expand the operational depth. Promote the co-location of 5G technology scenarios, test certification, joint development of a range of equipment, products and equipment based on 5G; select demonstration of 5G full connection plants, 5G+5A, 5G+3 hospital, 5G no mines, etc., and continuously expand the impact of demonstration poles; and, first and foremost, gradually introduce 5G add-ons and replace applications to facilitate the application of scale-ups from peripheral to core links.</p><p>The third is business to work together to expedite application. Encourage vertical sector champions to work with operators, communication equipment providers to develop a high-quality application of 5G to explore more mature business models; and accelerate the implementation of 5G+ SME cluster services to promote 5G applications for “small applications” among SMEs through 5G application of industrial parks that bring together SMEs.</p><p>The fourth is to move beyond mature 5G applications. Encourage domestic enterprises to strengthen overseas 5G application cooperation to provide high-quality products and services to countries or regions along the “one way” routes; collect and publish 5G overseas application case collections, increase advocacy efforts at key international organizations and conferences, and actively export the “China wisdom” and “China programme” of 5G applications.</p>]]></content:encoded>
