Community Rewards: Season 1 At CyberConnect, we are on a mission to empower users to create long-lasting on-chain connections through the power of web3. CYBER token and CyberDAO are crucial steps in fully succeeding in that mission by entrusting a decentralized community with control over the future use of the community treasury and all core upgrades to the protocol’s infrastructure.

Things to Remember:

A snapshot has already been taken at 6 AM UTC on August 1, 2023, for the existing holders of the above-mentioned NFTs, and transferring has been suspended. Please do not attempt to transfer NFTs, as it will result in a loss of gas fee. Opening an unopened Mystery Box will have no effect on the reward distribution. Please do not attempt to open Mystery Box as it will result in a loss of gas fee. Unclaimed Mystery Boxes, Mini Shards, and W3ST will be automatically airdropped to users’ wallets. Please do not claim them as it will result in a loss of gas fee. CyberTrek and CyberConnect FanClub will suspend NFT rewards and transition into a new points system called CyberPoints. FanClub Raffle Week #21 will run normally; NFTs will be airdropped to winners automatically and counted towards Season 1 Community Rewards. All progress made with CyberPoints on CyberTrek and FanClub will be considered for future seasons of community rewards. Community Rewards Season 1 will be available to claim at cyber.co. Updated Token Distribution CyberConnect protocol’s native utility and governance token CYBER can be used for the following functions:

Governance CYBER token holders have voting power and can delegate their voting power to others. Protocol improvements are decided based on voting power. Payment for CyberID CyberID is an ERC-721 token that represents a unique handle for users’ accounts in the CyberConnect social network. CYBER will be used for payment when purchasing CyberID. CyberAccount Gas CYBER will be used as the price meter and means of payment for gas fees for all transactions within CyberAccount across EVM-compatible chains. More CYBER use cases shall be introduced by CyberDAO.

Please Note:

✧ All unclaimed Mystery Boxes & Mini Shards have been automatically transferred to winners. This includes the Mini Shards on Polygon earned during CyberTrek.

✧ CyberConnect FanClub Week #21 Raffle rewards that included 30 Mystery Boxes & 16,500 Mini Shards have also been already sent to the winners.

✧ Whitelisted users for CyberTrek have already received an additional Mini Shard on top of the standard reward of 2 Mini Shards, totaling 3 Mini Shards.

✧ 630 Mystery Boxes have been distributed to our amazing community contributors, who are grouped across three tiers based on their level of contribution. The three tiers are as follows:

✦ Tier 1 (Reward: 15 Mystery Boxes)

• Have Cyber Guardian or above role in Discord

✦ Tier 2 (Reward: 5 Mystery Boxes)

Contributor must meet at least two of the following criteria:

• Have Doorman or above role in Discord

• Earned 500+ points on Dework

• 2000+ chat messages on discord

✦ Tier 3 (Reward: 1 Mystery Box)

Contributor must meet at least two of the following criteria:

• Have a community contributor role on Discord (mail-boy, ambassadors, contributors, designers, content creators).

• Have been active on Dework in the last three months.

• Have been active on Discord in the last three months.

• Have contributed at least once through local marketing, merch design, merch production, etc.

Finally, if the contributor has already claimed more Mystery Boxes from earlier distribution, they will not be eligible for additional rewards. For example, Bob has claimed 6 Mystery Boxes from earlier campaigns but also qualified for Tier 2. They will not receive additional Mystery Boxes in this season of Community Rewards.

How to Claim

Community Rewards: Season 1 is the first rewards program on Optimism with account abstraction.

Please note:

✧ CYBER can only be claimed by your CyberAccount. Each CyberConnect is owned and managed by your Externally Owned Account (EOA) wallet, like MetaMask. To learn more about CyberAccount, read this blog.

✧ Your total rewards allocation is calculated by combining eligible NFTs in your CyberAccount and your EOA wallet used to interact with CyberConnect protocol. For example, Mini Shard claimed on Polygon with your CyberAccount + Mini Shard won through FanClub on Link3.

✧ A Merkle Tree for the Community Rewards: Season 1 will be deployed on chain.

✧ To claim, your CyberAccount must first be deployed on Optimism and have gas to execute the transaction. If you have not deployed your CyberAccount on Optimism yet, you can do so on the rewards page.

✧ If you’re a multi-sig smart contract account holder holding the eligible NFTs, please create a ticket on our Discord to get in touch with.

Finally, we have identified a few Sybil accounts attempting to game the Community Rewards program. They have been excluded from this program. We will continue to monitor for suspicious activity.

Season 2 is already underway and a new CyberPoints system has been introduced to your CyberAccount. Moving forward all user activity and CyberPoints will be considered for future seasons of Community Rewards.
