ChatGPT is a large language model, which was trained using the methods of teaching with a teacher and reinforcement learning. This chatbot is based on another language model from OpenAI - GPT—3.5 - an improved version of the GPT—3 model. On March 14, 2023, the GPT-4 language model was released, available to testers and paid ChatGPT Plus subscribers. In the new version, AI has the ability to process not only text, but also images.

ChatGPT was launched on November 30, 2022 and attracted attention for its extensive capabilities: writing code, creating texts, translation capabilities, obtaining accurate answers and using the context of the dialogue for answers, although its actual accuracy has been criticized.

In early February 2023, Reuters, with reference to the Swiss holding company UBS, reported that in 2 months the audience of active ChatGPT users reached 100 million people. By doing this, the application set a historical record for the growth of visitors.

Access to the service is restricted in countries such as China, Russia, Belarus, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Iran. Also, the service was not previously available to residents of Ukraine.

The rules for issuing visas and residence permits in Turkey are regulated by the Law No. 6458 "On Foreigners and International Protection". It says that there are six types of ikamete:

Short-term loans are usually issued for up to two years. Such a residence permit can be obtained by tourists, even those who have recently arrived, foreigners who have real estate in Turkey, students who participate in exchange programs, those who go to learn Turkish, get medical treatment, and other categories. Investors and citizens of Northern Cyprus are granted a short-term residence permit for up to 5 years.

Long-term has no expiration date. This residence permit can be obtained by foreigners who have continuously lived in Turkey for 8 years, as well as refugees and internally displaced persons.

Family loans are issued for a period of up to three years to foreign spouses, children of foreigners and people who are dependent on them.

Student ID is issued for the duration of training. Such a residence permit can be obtained by students of primary and secondary educational institutions without a family residence permit, students of bachelor's, master's, doctoral studies, and those who improve their medical qualifications in Turkey.

The humanitarian certificate is issued for a period of up to one year. This type of residence permit is requested in emergency situations, for example, when a foreigner cannot return home.

For victims of human trafficking, it is issued for 30 days, but can be extended for 3 years.

Usually, tourists apply for a short-term residence permit for a year. If all the documents they attach to the application, such as an apartment rental agreement, are valid for two years, travelers can also apply for a two-year ikamete. But Law No. 6458 allows you to issue a residence permit for a shorter period of time, so there is a small chance to get an ikamet for only six months. It is not known what may affect this deadline — the system is not transparent.

In order to get a tourist residence permit, you will have to collect a set of documents.

The application form for issuing an ikamet is filled out on the portal e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr. It is important to do this within the country, not outside of it. Applications from abroad are not automatically accepted. In the form, indicate your income for the duration of your stay in Turkey. It must be sufficient to live in the country. The law does not specify exact figures. The forums say that the minimum income is $ 500⁣ (36,975 P) per month.

Prices in rubles are recalculated at the current exchange rate every time you open the page

Only gmail, yahoo, outlook, hotmail, and yandex mailboxes are suitable for registration. After filling out the application, you will receive a response to your email with the date and time of the interview with the migration service — randevu. The completed application must be printed out and signed. They take him along for an interview.

A copy of your passport must be printed out on the page with a photo and marks about the last entry into the country. You will definitely need the original passport at an interview with the migration service.

Four biometric photos are taken on a white background and must be no older than 6 months. Almost all Turkish photo salons know the standards for applying for ikamet. The rules are also described in a separate document.

Receipt of payment of the state fee for reviewing documents. The amount depends on your age and citizenship. In addition, you will have to pay for the production of a plastic ikameta card. The total cost is indicated on the first sheet of the questionnaire. Usually this amount is within 300 TRY⁣ (1182 P). You don't need to pay it in advance — the migration service employee will direct you to the tax office, where you need to pay the fee in cash.

The original medical insurance, also called sigorta, is issued in Turkish for the entire period of residence permit registration. The policy can be obtained from the Social Security Agency (SGK). This is a state insurance system with monthly premiums that covers 100% of the treatment. Cost-about 1000 TRY⁣ (3940 P) per month. You can also apply for a policy with any private insurance company and choose what expenses it should cover yourself. The price of such insurance is much cheaper and directly depends on the age and maximum amount of coverage. The cheapest annual policy will cost young people from 16 to 35 years-from 800 TRY⁣ (3152 P) up to 1000 TRY⁣ (3940 P). For people over 60, the price increases to 3000-4000 TRY⁣ (11,820—15 760 P).

A copy of the rental agreement for a period of at least 6 months. Since February 2022, a notice has appeared on the residence permit registration portal that the document must be certified by a notary. And this should be done by the homeowner, not the tenant. In addition to the contract, you must attach a copy of the landlord's identity card-kimlik-and the right of ownership — tapu.

The Turkish profile blog writes that such a measure was introduced in order to exclude fictitious lease agreements. Many companies offer foreigners to buy a ready-made contract for registration of an icamet. This is a popular fraudulent scheme, which was resorted to by those tourists who did not want to rent housing for a long time in one city. It is illegal to use it. The new rules make it much more difficult to submit fake lease agreements.

A tourist residence permit gives you the right to legally stay in Turkey for the entire period of validity of the ikamet. It allows you to enter and leave the country freely. You need to extend your residence permit 60 days before the end of the current residence permit. You will need the same list of documents. Only the application form will be different.

Thanks

Coronaviruses are a group of related RNA viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans and birds, they cause respiratory tract infections that can range from mild to lethal. Mild illnesses in humans include some cases of the common cold (which is also caused by other viruses, predominantly rhinoviruses), while more lethal varieties can cause SARS, MERS and COVID-19, which is causing the ongoing pandemic. In cows and pigs they cause diarrhea, while in mice they cause hepatitis and encephalomyelitis.

Coronaviruses constitute the subfamily Orthocoronavirinae, in the family Coronaviridae, order Nidovirales and realm Riboviria. They are enveloped viruses with a positive-sense single-stranded RNA genome and a nucleocapsid of helical symmetry. The genome size of coronaviruses ranges from approximately 26 to 32 kilobases, one of the largest among RNA viruses. They have characteristic club-shaped spikes that project from their surface, which in electron micrographs create an image reminiscent of the stellar corona, from which their name derives.

The earliest reports of a coronavirus infection in animals occurred in the late 1920s, when an acute respiratory infection of domesticated chickens emerged in North America. Arthur Schalk and M.C. Hawn in 1931 made the first detailed report which described a new respiratory infection of chickens in North Dakota. The infection of new-born chicks was characterized by gasping and listlessness with high mortality rates of 40–90%.Leland David Bushnell and Carl Alfred Brandly isolated the virus that caused the infection in 1933. The virus was then known as infectious bronchitis virus (IBV). Charles D. Hudson and Fred Robert Beaudette cultivated the virus for the first time in 1937. The specimen came to be known as the Beaudette strain. In the late 1940s, two more animal coronaviruses, JHM that causes brain disease (murine encephalitis) and mouse hepatitis virus (MHV) that causes hepatitis in mice were discovered. It was not realized at the time that these three different viruses were related.

Human coronaviruses were discovered in the 1960s using two different methods in the United Kingdom and the United States. E.C. Kendall, Malcolm Bynoe, and David Tyrrell working at the Common Cold Unit of the British Medical Research Council collected a unique common cold virus designated B814 in 1961. The virus could not be cultivated using standard techniques which had successfully cultivated rhinoviruses, adenoviruses and other known common cold viruses. In 1965, Tyrrell and Bynoe successfully cultivated the novel virus by serially passing it through organ culture of human embryonic trachea. The new cultivating method was introduced to the lab by Bertil Hoorn. The isolated virus when intranasally inoculated into volunteers caused a cold and was inactivated by ether which indicated it had a lipid envelope. Dorothy Hamre and John Procknow at the University of Chicago isolated a novel cold from medical students in 1962. They isolated and grew the virus in kidney tissue culture, designating it 229E. The novel virus caused a cold in volunteers and, like B814, was inactivated by ether.

Transmission electron micrograph of organ cultured coronavirus OC43

Scottish virologist June Almeida at St Thomas' Hospital in London, collaborating with Tyrrell, compared the structures of IBV, B814 and 229E in 1967. Using electron microscopy the three viruses were shown to be morphologically related by their general shape and distinctive club-like spikes. A research group at the National Institute of Health the same year was able to isolate another member of this new group of viruses using organ culture and named one of the samples OC43 (OC for organ culture). Like B814, 229E, and IBV, the novel cold virus OC43 had distinctive club-like spikes when observed with the electron microscope.

Coronaviruses vary significantly in risk factor. Some can kill more than 30% of those infected, such as MERS-CoV, and some are relatively harmless, such as the common cold. Coronaviruses can cause colds with major symptoms, such as fever, and a sore throat from swollen adenoids. Coronaviruses can cause pneumonia (either direct viral pneumonia or secondary bacterial pneumonia) and bronchitis (either direct viral bronchitis or secondary bacterial bronchitis). The human coronavirus discovered in 2003, SARS-CoV, which causes severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), has a unique pathogenesis because it causes both upper and lower respiratory tract infections.

<s>Why talk about Defi when I want to talk about it.</s>

Stay safe, doc albino.

Inoue classifies ikigai into three directions – social , non-social , and anti-social ikigai – from a social perspective. Social ikigai refers to ikigai that are accepted by society through volunteer activities and circle activities. An asocial ikigai is an ikigai that is not directly related to society, such as faith or self-discipline. Anti-social ikigai refers to ikigai, which is the basic motivation for living through dark emotions, such as the desire to hate someone or something or to continue having a desire for revenge.

National Geographic Dan Buettner suggested ikigai may be one of the reasons for the longevity of the people of Okinawa. According to Buettner, Okinawans have less desire to retire, as people continue to do their favourite job as long as they remain healthy. Moai, a close-knit friend group, is also considered an important reason for the people of Okinawa to live long.

In the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, ikigai was thought to be experienced towards either the betterment of society ("subordinating one's own desires to others") or improvement of oneself ("following one's own path").

According to anthropologist Chikako Ozawa-de Silva, for an older generation in Japan, their ikigai was to "fit this standard mold of company and family", whereas the younger generation reported their ikigai to be about "dreams of what they might become in the future".

Multiple studies showed that people who do not feel ikigai are more likely to experience cardiovascular diseases. However, there was no evidence of any correlation with development of malignant tumors.

Thx for reading!
