Transport logistics is a “bush” of the economic cycle. On 6 May, the China Federation of Logistics and Procurement stated that in 2022, China’s total social logistics amounted to $347.6 trillion, an increase of 3.4 per cent. The Chinese logistics market is the first in the world for seven years. In the near future, data related to various logistics industries have released positive signals, the dynamism of “mobiles” has gradually resumed, and the foundations for overall operationalization continue to be consolidated.

Source: Central Dependent Network

Source: New China

The size of the logistics market has been the first global year for seven consecutive years

On 6 May, the Vice-President of the China Federation of Logistics and Procurement stated that, in 2022, China’s total revenue for the logistics industry was $1.27 trillion, an increase of 4.7 per cent.

The overall increase in social logistics has continued to be higher than GDP growth since 2020, with a sustained increase in logistics demand factors and a steady increase in the scale of logistics demand. China’s logistics market is the first in the world for seven years.

Continued growth of the logistics industry climate index in April

Data previously published show that in April this year, the Chinese logistics industry index was 53.8 per cent and continues to grow. The total operational activity index for some sectors has been maintained at more than 50 per cent of the expansion area. Of these, the railway transport industry, the road transport industry, the air transport industry, the warehousing industry and the postal Express industry index exceed 53 per cent.

Total telecommunications operations increased four consecutive months

Under domestic consumer recovery, the supplier logistics index also shows a continuous increase. In April, the Chinese supplier logistics index was 109 points, an increase of 0.7 points over the previous month. The total volume of telephony operations and the volume of rural telecommuting operations increased for four consecutive months, the overall volume of telephony operations expanded and the total volume of rural utility operations increased by more than 20 per cent.

At the same time, confidence in the logistics market continues to grow. In April, the projected operational activity index was nearly 60 per cent, of which the railway transport industry, the air transport industry and the postal Express operational activities were expected to continue to be at 60 per cent overstretched.

China’s fast track record this year has surpassed 40 billion

In addition, data from the National Post Office, as at 4 May, China was able to deliver over 40 billion copies of its operations this year. Five-One leave, a total of 1,496 million pieces of fast-paced package were received throughout the country and 1,599 million were delivered. With the implementation of a series of policies to promote consumption and smooth movement, an increasing number of high-quality agricultural products and local niche products have been able to reach all parts of the country quickly through the Expressing Network, which is an important force for economic growth.

Additional phase of logistics for the “xiv five” period

The Vice-President of the China Federation of Logistics and Procurement (FAC) cherished the view that the Chinese logistics industry was still at an incremental stage during the fourteenth five-year period and that there was still sufficient momentum for development and space for expansion. The Chinese logistics industry is taking up new opportunities for development in the context of the new journey towards a modern logistics system, from a “high logistics power” to a “high logistics power”.
