Cards in Cross The Ages: TCG represent characters from the various factions of the lore: Arkhante, Mantris, and Rift. Each card has an element and a power. Other characteristics such as rank and grade exist. The player can evolve his cards through crafting. You can find out more about this by following the link.

The heptagram is a special pattern through which cards interact with each other.

In the photo we can see:

7 elements: Life, Earth, Darkness, Water, Fire, Light, and Air, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.

3 factions: Arkhante, Mantris, Rift.

And also the rules for how cards interact with each other:

Elements and Strengths: each element has a unique strength and weakness. For instance, Fire cards get a +200 power bonus against Light and Life cards (green lines), Fire cards weaker than Water and Earth, it gets a -200 power penalty (red lines) and reinforcement by Air and Dark.

For example:

500 Fire will capture Light and Life 695 (500+200 = 700; 700 > 695).

500 Fire will not capture the Water and Earth 450 (500 < 650; 450+200 = 650).

Building Power: Combine cards to boost power:

If you place an Air next to a Fire, both elements will be boosted by +100 Power - this is called Affinity (two cards of compatible elements)

Alliance: Two cards of the same element, but different factions = +100 power

Trinity: Three consecutive elements = +100 power each (Light-Life-Air; Darkness-Life-Earth are trinities)

To maximize your power, keep an eye on alliances, affinities, and trinities. A shield icon on the card shows these relationships, making it easier to track boosts during play.

The game starts on a 4x4 grid, where you battle using a 30-card deck. Winning depends on clever placement and strategic use of card affinities, which can shift power balances and flip control of the board.

In The Arena: Each match is a race against time, lasting up to 12 minutes. Each player gets 6 mins in Normal Mode, while Ranked Mode offers brisker play with 5 mins each.

Players take turns lasting 1 minute and 30 seconds, aiming to hit a dice-determined point goal, which could end the game before the board is fully navigated

When you place your leader on the board, he activates a Special Ability, and as long as you control your leader, you have a double capture chain instead of a single one.

Tactics and strategy for the game can be different and depend on the element of your leader and your opponent's leader, special ability, and whose turn it is first and whose turn it is second. Do not be afraid to experiment and come up with extraordinary solutions, as well as memorize effective game patterns that are used by experienced players.
