Hand-drawn by our amazing artist Gigi, these BeraShroomiez convey the mood of our beloved Shroomiez holders during this exciting phase of our collective Web3 journey.

A testament to the creative expression of the hand-drawn art which lies behind each Shroomiez NFT, infused by the essence of the chain its spores were about to see the light on; brought to life on the first version of Berachain, the Artio testnet.

When the first great Berachain tastenet migration occurred, from Artio to bArtio, these 137 very bearish but quite honeylicious mushrooms migrated to bArtio on June 19th at approximately 11:22 GMT, by airdropping every holder their own respective token. A testament to our credo that reducing unnecessary interactions will reduce the risks faced by users when navigating the on-chain world.

A sense of urge to proliferate on a chain that was being invaded by heartless AI “art” spurred in the hearts of the Shroomiez, so the AI machine was set in motion for good, and after multiple iterations of ensuring the right output was obtained and then carefully hand-selected, 333 Fermented Shroomiez were batch minted on bArtio on August 10th at 10:23 PM UTC.

These Fermented Shroomiez were airdropped to all Shroomiez NFT holders, as well as distributed to some partner communities for their own users to test the second iteration of the Beramarket NFT marketplace in closed beta. No one realized they were AI generated, and everyone was so stunned by the Art’s amazing quality that they refused to believe it was an AI generated collection when they were told it was. Sure, there was some degree of human input, such as uploading already existing Shroomiez NFTs (which were hand-drawn) as templates for the AI to work on and then recreate in its own unique, algorithmic way, but the output was still 100% AI generated.

A few holders listed their Fermented Shroomiez, most did so for relatively absurd amounts ranging from 60 to 900 tBERA, thinking they probably wouldn’t be bought. Instead, they all got sweeped.

Some Bears with really fat bellies eyed these seemingly chaotic yet peaceful creatures, and decided to embrace the uncertainty of their aesthetics.

Many were left with the sour taste of empty-handedness which arises from paperhanding an NFT whose true potential is only understood from the paperhandoor after having sold it’s very precious asset unknowingly of its potential.

The description was clear though: A collection made purely to be traded; the more you trade it, the more you will enjoy it (and its rewards).

So what are these rewards? Well first of all, you get yourself some extra tBERA if you just sell it, and even more if you trade wisely.

Secondly, but *maybe* more importantly, your genuine* trading activity will be weighted and rewarded with a score once Berachain mainnet goes live and the liquid backed Shroomiez see the light. That means a potential to earn an ever greater chance of owning one of the first Liquid Backed NFTs to ever exist, on Berachain yes, but also across the entire Cryptoverse if you think about it.

*By genuine we mean that trades back and forth between wallets that are clearly owned by the same owner will be disqualified)

**We like to stress the *maybe* because it is uncertain that you will earn a greater reward by trading the NFTs rather than just simply taking those BERA and go farm some BGT and call it a day while you wait for a potential early user/community airdrop at Berachain mainnet/TGE)

With the release of the liquid backing feature by Beramarket and with no more Fermented Shroomiez for sale, some users got really, really mad that they didn’t have any (or not enough) Fermented Shroomiez to enjoy the pleasures of borrowing some sweet, sweet liquidity against these liquid backed NFTs. Of course, it was just tBERA, but still, there were several pressing dynamics at play.

And so on August 16th at exactly 11:11 AM UTC, 222 MAD Shroomiez magically appeared on Berachain bArtio. Airdropped straight to the wallets of all Shroomiez NFT holders and Fermented Shroomiez holders, these Mad Shroomiez were clear with their instructions: These Shroomiez will get really Mad if you don't trade them enough.

The same previous AI-generation unacceptance arose from the community’s voice, but again it was short-lasted because their perception and appreciation of the artefacts was greater than the desire to question their source or even reality.

Therefore the smart Shroomiez will very carefully act on what they’re told and what they can merely perceive; yet the part which is to be highlighted is the act of acting, as it is decisive to harness the potential benefits of these occasions. Not always, but frequently.

In a world where AI generated content is proliferating like mushrooms after the rain, one must grow its appreciation for true User Generated Content, especially with digital assets (which includes NFTs).

You might have noticed that both Fermented and Mad Shroomiez have yet to reveal their rarity traits. What is going to differentiate them from other collections is that they will each have different probabilities of surviving the winter.

Those who make it, will inevitably reap the rewards of a frost-touched shroom, if you know what I mean.

In case you’re a Bear who can’t read properly, a short summary would be; a direct shift of energy from the unworthy to the worthy. Again, iykyk.

In simple words, some of them will witness a guaranteed liquid backing event, receiving the ability to cross the multiverse from their current static bArtio environment to a more prosperous, energetic one (Berachain).

Once they reach their destination, they will unlock unfathomable DeFi benefits such as being able to take loans against their true value (RFV) or be sacrificed to the Liquid Backing Moloch (collection treasury).

What matters is scarcity, and as a matter of scarcity, it ain’t gonna be easy for non-Shroomiez holders to put their hands on a BS NFT.

Before you start wondering how this BS collection can give you any edge and/or exposure to the Shroomieverse, Berachain or Beramarket, we must first go back in time.

Over a millenia and a half ago, places like the Imperial Forums in Rome enabled people to trade their goods freely, at the fairest market value possible, with in-person guarantees of the quality and quantity of the goods being exchanged. 660 Gen1 Shroomiez will go live in August on the Ethereum blockchain as ERC-721’s and 6000 Gen2 Shroomiez will soon follow on Berachain. Shroomiez will be using LayerZero to make sure they can travel the Multiverse (aka be Multichain).

Of the 660 Gen1 Shroomiez, 30 Shroomiez NFTs (5% of the supply) will be allocated to Shroomiez/ETH LP on Caviar. Of the 6000 Gen1 Shroomiez, 63% of the initial mint liquidity will be used to liquid-back the NFT via Beramarket. Gen1 mint funds after initial liquidity has been provided will be used to establish proper legal infrastructure to make sure Shroomiez are covered with both their physical and digital operations, as well as cover our artists and other contributors salaries. Before we dive deep into anything else, a brief yet important explanation of the art process behind the Shroomiez NFTs.

Shroomiez Art

The Shroomiez traits, from the species to the caps and expressions, have been taken from 36 different species of mushroom, and adapted to what is now the Shroomiez art.

Each Shroomiez also features its own vibrational frequency, visible through the Chaldi (geometric) patterns present on the background of each NFT.

Our talented artist Gigi has hand-drawn each one of the 660 Gen1 Shroomiez, while the 6000 Gen2 Shroomiez will be generative (using Gigi’s hand drawn traits – existing and new ones).

Shroomuzik

We have generated 11 different music tracks using the sound of a Porcini Mushroom (obtained with a synthesizer), with each track associated to a level of Electrical Spiking Activity of the Mushroom (from 0 to 10).

Once a month, the sound of a new species of Mushroom from the Shroomiez collection will be released, allowing anyone to submit a music track generated from it.

The Shroomiez will then vote on which they think is the best track, rewarding the winning producer with a share of Shroomiez/ETH LP tokens and replacing the OG Porcini track with the new species track for all Shroomiez holding that species trait.

The Opportunity

Every single time the market goes parabolic, mass media and all kinds of influencers start talking about it, causing millions of uneducated normies to flock towards whatever is promoted to them. In 99% of cases, that is rugpulls or low-quality projects.

We want to avoid that, so we came up with a solution: curating what the new-entrants would see and making sure it directs them to the “right” projects.

For this to be achieved, we must align the following parties:

• The Knowers: they supply their Web3 knowledge to curate the Shroomieverse, using their Shroomiez NFTs to vote on which dApps, NFTs and creators should be featured on it.

• The Creators: they create Web3-related content of all kinds, and should be incentivised to focus on high quality projects

• The Educators: anyone who has an audience, whether it is 30 followers or 3 million, should be rewarded when sharing high-quality content about legit projects with it’s audience

• New users: of course, all of this means nothing without the users. High-quality projects are promoted by those with an audience, directed to on-boarding new users.

Shroomiez introduces the Shroomieverse, a platform to on-board new users to the truly valuable dApps, NFTs, and all-else Web3 related, curated by the true connoisseurs.

NFTnomics

For the Shroomiez mission to be achieved, we must truly make sure that the Web3 connoisseurs are the ones who possess the Shroomiez NFTs and therefore curate the Shroomieverse with their hard-earned, deep Web3 knowledge.

The initial team along with its early community has decided to distribute the Shroomiez NFT supply via a standard Mint Gating method, with 3 tiers of whitelists which are hereby called “Shroomlists”.

In brackets “( )” is the number of Shroomiez allocated to each Gate. Approximately 3300 General Mint Shroomlists should have been distributed, along with 300 Discounted Mints and 60 Free Mints.

Shroomiez NFTs Distribution

The most relevant NFTfi and DeFi projects, along with the most valuable NFT collections, have each received a portion of all types of Shroomlists. Read Thicc Liquidity and an Ample Network as well as Shroomiez NFTnomics for more information.

A Right Click, Save! Campaign was also run by the community to allow new participants to try and win a Free Mint Shroomlist by interacting with major Web3 protocols, as a Shroomiez.

Finally, a proposal to 33 major DeFi and NFT projects will allow 12 of them to each purchase 18 Shroomiez each for a total of 216 Shroomiez (∼33% of Shroomiez supply). It should go live 1 week before the first Mint Gates open.

The Shroomieverse

Imagine a platform which fosters the creation and proliferation of well-made content, covering the best DeFi and NFT projects. As Pope first spoke, “A collective wisdom platform”.

Governed by Shroomiez NFT holders via Snapshot, the Shroomieverse will be truly hosting the highest quality projects and content creators. We plan to build our own dashboard for a smoother Shroomieverse curation experience. Shroomiez holders will also be able to delegate their voting power whenever they feel like it via https://snapshot.org/#/delegate.

The Shroomieverse is a place for;

• Users to navigate the different aspects of Web3,

• Creators to find the right projects for their content

• Anyone to Educate their audiences via their preferred Shroomieverse curated content

All of it curated by the true connoisseurs of Web3 through their Shroomiez NFTs, for which 1 NFT = 1 vote to decide on what dApps are added, removed, or stay on the Shroomieverse.

The incentive for the user is of course learning about what sparks his interest, under whatever premise or desire he seeks.

The incentive for creators and educators must be somewhat financial, for a wide number of reasons we all should be aware of. For this reason, Shroomiez will be allocating Shroomiez/ETH LP token rewards to be distributed between creators and educators. More on this further below.

How it’s going to work (and look)

A breakdown of each section:

“User View”

Users are those who want to learn what are the current best dApps, NFT projects, and who the best content creators to follow (for such interests) are.

As such, they will see the best dApps and NFTs on a simple interface where they can dive deep into each project, view content made by the best content creators and explore related content.

“Creator View”

Creators are those who engage in creating: videos, threads, memes, posts, and anything else which educates people about Web3.

They are interested in seeing what great projects have been chosen by the Shroomiez as well as the respective reward pools for each project. Creators must be whitelisted (“approved”) by the Shroomiez to be able to feature their content on the Shroomieverse.

Any Creator (who is not yet whitelisted) can submit their content together, with a short application form, requesting approval to become a Shroomieverse Creator. Applications should be reviewed weekly by the Shroomiez.

“Educator View”

Educators are persons (or accounts of any type) who want to share something with their audience with the purpose of educating them. They don’t necessarily have to be creators, as they can share the actual content made from multiple creators.

They simply wish to know which amazing projects have been selected by the Shroomiez, along with the creators, whose content they are going to share with their audience through a personal link. At the end of each month, each Educator will receive its fair share of token rewards pro-rata (depending on their clicks % out of the total).

Assessment Criteria

For projects and creators to be featured on the Shroomieverse, they need to be approved by the Shroomiez NFT holders via monthly snapshot votes, where they decide whether a project is added, removed, or stays. The approval process happens by whitelisting the project & NFT collections contract addresses. For creators approval, their main social handles will be whitelisted.

Users will also be able to view the rating of each platform, which is set and reviewed monthly by Shroomiez NFT holders. We do have an idea of the kind of assessment criteria that could be implemented. However, we believe that it needs to be developed with the help of the Shroomiez community, which means post-mint voting will happen to determine the Assessment criteria for projects featured on the Shroomieverse.

A brief suggestion could be as follows:

*[1 to 5] always refers to 1 being negative and 5 being the most positive score.

Each project can be scored using some standard polling assessments of frequent users of each platform, plus a combination of the Shroomiez’ experience with each platform.

DeFi (includes NFTFi)

Security - combination of who audited what and history of past events predominate while slightly weighing them with a brand reputation index, reviewed monthly by Shroomiez for a share of Shroomiez/ETH LP rewards.

How safe is it? Has it ever been breached? Did it cause losses to its users? [1 to 5]

BRI (Brand Reputation Index) [1 to 5]

Will initially be ranked inside a dedicated (and Shroomiez-gated) Discord channel in the Shroomiez server; then will be moved to Shroomieverse website

NFTs

Unique Holders (growth %)

Floor-to-Value to ratio: from 1 to 5

The Value part of the Floor-to-Value ratio could be determined as an aggregate of the perks which an NFT collection gives to its holders, but again, it shall be up to the Shroomiez to determine which assessment criteria to implement.

Anything else Web3 & Metaverse

Since there are actual Metaverses such as Decentraland, The Sandbox, and more gamified ones like Nifty Island, as well as tools to bring your NFTs to life (on videocam and video production for example) such as those offered by Hologram, could be rated with the following criteria, until there are enough projects in any specific category for it to develop its own assessment criteria.

Time in existence: how long (weeks/months/years) has the project been around for?

Security: has it ever been breached? Did it cause losses for its users? [1 to 5]

The overall objective should be to ensure a true decentralized selection process for projects and NFT collections to be featured on the Shroomieverse. Only by implementing a transparent assessment (and further selection) process of projects and creators can we guarantee a fair and decentralized Shroomieverse.

Governance

It should be clear by now that 1 Shroomiez = 1 vote.

The primary (and recurring) type of voting will concern the curation of the Shroomieverse: deciding what dApps & NFT projects should be featured, along with which creators should be able to link and display their content on it.

The mint address wallet will be a 4-of-5 multisig wallet with 3 initial team members and 2 community members. It should quickly mutate into two separate multi-sigs, one holding Shroomiez/ETH LP tokens and the other holding other Shroomiez Treasury assets. The multisigs should aspire to always be at least 4 out of 6 / 5 of 7, but that will be up to the Shroomiez to decide after the mint is completed.

Upon formation of the first subDAO’s (including their respective legal entities), a multi-sig wallet for each subDAO should be formed. Sufficient Decentralization by dydx legal counsel & Variant fund partner Marc Boiron is a helpful guide to understand what direction to take for best practices under the current framework of DAO models.

SubDAO Examples

Development Team: Skilled blockchain developers and smart contract engineers who build and maintain the technical infrastructure of the DAO. They implement governance protocols, develop smart contracts wherever required, and ensure the security of the platform.

Community Managers: Community managers engage with the DAO's community members, facilitate discussions, answer questions, and gather feedback. They play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the community.

Creators: Artists, designers, musicians, and other creators contribute to the ecosystem by producing unique and educational pieces of content.

Curators: Curators help discover and promote high-quality projects and NFTs within the community. Collectors are enthusiasts who acquire and trade NFTs, contributing to the overall value and recognition of the Shroomieverse.

Governance: These individuals actively participate in the DAO's decision-making process. They propose and vote on changes, upgrades, and initiatives related to the platform's rules, governance structure, and economic model.

Legal: legal and compliance experts provide guidance to ensure that the DAO operates within legal boundaries.

Tokenomics: These professionals design the economic model of the DAO, including the distribution and utility of Shroomiez/ETH LP tokens, incentives for participation, and mechanisms to maintain stability and sustainability.

More or less groups may be required to fulfill the Shroomiez vision, and that will always be up to Shroomiez NFT holders to decide.

Composability

As mentioned before, we should allocate 5% of the Shroomiez NFT supply to provide liquidity on multiple markets for the Shroomiez/ETH LP (liquidity pool). Initially on Ethereum via Caviar, soon enough on Berachain via Beramarket.

The intent should then be to use those Shroomiez/ETH LP tokens as ecosystem incentives, from creator rewards to educator rewards and voter rewards.

However, for the Shroomieverse to truly scale, it will need much more. That is why we should allow anyone to add any project token contract (whether a cryptocurrency or an NFT, on any EVM chain) as long as it has been whitelisted by the Shroomiez themselves.

Rewards composability

Any DeFi, NFT project or individual can ask the Shroomiez to add a specific contract (dapps, nfts..) and wait for the monthly review to seek approval.

If approved, anyone can then add any EVM token to the reward pools for that project.

Web3 Composability

The Shroomieverse should be exclusively focused on the EVM ecosystem to begin with, since it is where most of the on-chain financial value lies right now (outside of Bitcoin, which unfortunately is limited to Bitcoin). That means Ethereum, Arbitrum, LayerZero, Optimism, Base, etc.

We are confident that the Shroomiez will take the right initiatives to gradually expand their horizon to include other chain ecosystems (Bitcoin, Solana, Cosmos, and more).

(Social) App composability

Content from all major platforms (Twitter, Youtube, Lens, etc) should be easily imported into the Shroomieverse, for Educators to share and Users to enjoy.

Incentive Layer

Shroomiez/ETH LP rewards are allocated by Shroomiez NFT holders via their weighted governance power, initially deciding on how to distribute their votes between Creators and Educators and subsequently deciding how much goes to each project. Reminds you of something?

Anyone can also add their preferred token rewards to whitelisted project reward pools, to further incentivise both creators and educators who should be attracted by larger reward pools.

Voting Rewards

The first layer which must be incentivised is the one of Shroomiez NFT holders. Not to merely participate in the governance, because that would be assumed as a base pre-requirement (or at least to delegate), but to incentivise each holder (and delegate) to vote with the majority. That means, making sure each voter’s decision is the right decision.

Voting rewards are funded by Shroomiez/ETH LP tokens and a periodic pre-allocation should be planned by voters following the relevant subDAO department’s guidance. The rewards would be then distributed pro-rata at the end of each month to voters for all their winning votes.

Creator Rewards

Creator rewards are composed of Shroomiez/ETH LP token rewards as well as of any other token which anyone can add to any whitelisted project’s reward pool.

Shroomiez holders (and delegates) decide how much of the Shroomiez/ETH LP tokens should be distributed to Creators and Educators on a monthly basis, following the quarterly budget set by the finance subDAO and executed by the Shroomiez.

Any project or individual could add any amount of token rewards to any project reward pool, to incentivise both creators and educators to respectively create and share educational content.

Educator Rewards

Creator rewards are also composed of Shroomiez/ETH LP token rewards as well as of any other token which anyone can add to any whitelisted project’s reward pool.

Shroomiez holders (and delegates) decide how much of the Shroomiez/ETH LP tokens should be distributed to Creators and Educators on a monthly basis, following the quarterly budget set by the finance subDAO and executed by the Shroomiez.

Educators will share Shroomieverse content with their audiences with the objective of earning a share of their chosen project’s reward pools. This should mean that a larger reward pool should attract more Educators as well as Creators.

NFT License

This is still under discussion, and requires input from Shroomiez NFT holders. Shroomiez could give IP rights to holders so that they can monetize and scale their IP, or it could retain it within the parent organization. That is to be appropriately evaluated and discussed as soon as the mint is over.

It would definitely be cool to see holders license their Shroomiez for brand opportunities, earning money for them and exposure for the Shroomiez. Reading A Survey of NFT Licenses could be a good start for new-joiners.

Physical Sales

Some early community members already began talks to start selling amazing Shroomiez-shaped wax candles, as well as Shroomiez physical figures (collectibles and unlimited).

The opportunities in the physical space are truly unlimited and it shall be the appropriate Shroomiez subDAO to spear the Shroomiez ship towards the right physical venues.

In any case, all opportunities should consider committing a percentage of their success to further strengthen the Shroomieverse. Whether that could be via allocating it to Shroomiez/ETH LP rewards or anything else thought by and approved by the Shroomiez, that is yet to be seen, by the Shroomiez of course.

Overall, this first version of the Shroompaper should serve to guide the first Shroomiez to become the pioneers which on-board the next million(s) users to Web3. By contributing at any level with Shroomiez, anyone can drive value to their favorite ecosystem projects.

Subsequent editions of the Shroompaper should be provided by the Shroomiez holders, adhering to principles of honesty, truthfulness, and unwavering integrity.

On behalf of the Shroomiez team, I am very excited to finally share some of the creative process for the Shroomiez NFTs collection.

Shroomiez is born as an idea for an educational space in Web3, that is also fun and offers a variety of opportunities. Naturally we needed the art to represent the tone of the project just as so; playful, charming and welcoming to all.

Our theme explores much more than the simple idea of a mushroom and its quirks. Instead, we go deeper and browse the fascinating diversity present throughout mushrooms of all kinds. Furthermore, we were inspired by the impact that mushrooms had on different cultures over time, mostly because of their psychedelic influence and abilities.

The art is inspired by a variety of artistic styles and interpretations of mushrooms as characters created over time. We wanted to make sure that our Shroomiez mirrored cuteness, charm, approachability and humour, with a touch of fantasy.

There are approximately 36 different mushroom species present in the Shroomiez collection, with a balanced variation of common and rare species. The

selection of species was a carefully done process, to make sure we portrayed each specie as realistically as possible in terms of colors and cap shape. Moreover, the difference between all the species creates an important visual harmony to the collection as a whole.

The Shroomiez NFT collection has many individual traits and attributes that together create the perfect Shroomie, such as: cap shape, mood, outfit, accessory, species and background. Each trait has a selection that varies from common to rare, and they have all been randomly distributed. The various possible Shroomiez combinations given the vast attribute options is what allows each Shroomie to be so different from each other. Obviously the combination of traits is what determines the rarity or value of the NFT… but don’t worry, they are all extremely cute!

The 1st Generation of Shroomiez NFTs is truly special. Not only because it’s the beginning of something great, but also because the NFTs have been hand-drawn one by one, which will not be the case for Gen 2 (more info coming soon). This allows the collection to have greater variety and individuality in terms of color and combination of traits. Each trait was carefully selected and adapted for the making of each NFT, which required intense attention to detail and provides further individuality to every Shroomie.

Shroomiez has a long way to go and our team is working hard everyday to make this possible. This is the beginning of our story. We are very excited to share it with you. If you’ve made it this far, buckle up because there is a great journey ahead.

Many of you might remember that when the masses first became aware of NFTs, many of those uninformed poor-souls would rant under the twitter posts of NFT owners with comments such as:

Oh, you spent $100k for this “NFT”? I just right click saved it and now it’s mine too.

Hah, little did they know that they were setting the foundations to what Milady and few other NFT communities leveraged to rise to the top.

Right click save should be embraced up to the limits of where the NFT IP allows it.

In our case, we openly recommend everyone to allow their audiences to use their NFTs as profile pictures and what not. Of course, that doesn’t mean business purposes, which is a very different story and which we do not endorse.

However, the vibes are clear: be as inclusive as possible because at the end of the day, what matters is who owns the private keys to the NFT.

And of course, every major social platform is shifting it’s UI to allow NFT owners to safely prove the ownership over the NFTs they chose to wear online, hence this right-click-save attitude can only be +EV for an NFT project and it’s community.

On Monday, the Shroomiez Right Click, Save! Campaign will go live and 10 special Shroomiez will be offered to you all as a token of appreciation. Just right click save one and its yours to use as a profile picture, to print it on tshirts, mugs, private jets. Whatever you want. Except using it to generate revenue for commercial uses; the Shroomiez will hunt you in that case, because we are not granting a commercial usage license here, just social media vibe enabler, ya know?

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Curve, and a few NFT communities, have each brought to the world an innovative way to align incentives between network participants.

Without diving too much into how they did it, one thing they all have in common is what we call a “cryptographically verifiable consensus layer”.

In simpler words, participants of each one of those networks/projects/however you wanna call them all want the same thing: be able to verify on-chain how the project works, what the teams execute/try to push, and ensure rewards (and/or treasuries) are fairly distributed(and/or managed).

Fair NFT Distribution to ensure Durable Incentive Alignment (“DIA”).

First of all, let’s not confuse DIA with any other 3 letter thingy because that’s absolutely not what we want here. More than anything, this is a Social Coordination Experiment to achieve a Collective Wisdom Platform.

Durable Incentive Alignment simply means aligning interests between ecosystem participants, and making one the whole.

“Still, WTF DoEs tHaT meAn?”

A quick insight into what alignment means for Shroomiez:

1. Imagine if content creators created content exclusively to give value to their audience. Imagine videos, memes and threads explaining:

   - On/off-ramping with different providers

   - Using non-custodial wallets and the different options available, with their pros & cons

   - How to use dApps, why use them and which ones to use

   - Which NFT communities are thriving, why, and what value do they offer to their holders

   These are just some of the many valuable topics which content creators can touch upon.

   The point is, properly rewarding the content creators who contribute to the Web3 ecosystem by teaching the what, how and why to new entrants, is of essential matter.

2. Now take the suppliers of that precious material which content creators mold into their unique pieces. Who should those suppliers be and why should they actively participate?

   In the Shroomieverse, the case for having Web3 OGs become the suppliers of information for new entrants has never been stronger, yet it is valid as long as there is a transparent and cryptographically-secure way of handling the decision making process of the information distribution.

   They are the true keepers and knowers of Web3 knowledge. Those who have been rugged on the too-many-to-be-mentioned seemingly great DeFi projects, from the most fruit-themed and esteemed to the most audited ones, and especially NFT hard-rug survivors. They are the most well informed and better suited to guide our fellow new entrants into this technically-scary yet essential digital world.

   Obviously, to align incentives, there needs to be a reward system which ensures these courageous souls who dedicate their time to the greater mission also get monetarily rewarded for their purposeful actions. Here is where the Shroomiez thicc liquidity comes in handy. 

3. We are now at the third and last, yet essential, pillar of the Shroomieverse: Audiences.

   Anyone, from individuals to organizations of all kinds, with an audience of any kind, has the power to generate some sort of impact through what they share with their audience.

   What if there was an incentive for anyone with an audience to share valuable Web3 knowledge with their audiences? 

   Imagine if they could seamlessly navigate the Shroomieverse and select the content they would like to share with their audience, receive a personal link which traces their clicks’ interactions, and be rewarded with a fair share of SHROOMIEZ-ETH LP tokens (proportionate to their clicks activity in relation to the total), which of course can be easily swapped for sweet sweet ETH via Caviar, for example.

   Every month, after thorough discussion on Discord, Shroomiez holders will get to vote via Snapshot on what NFTs, dApps and Wallets should be featured on the Shroomieverse. If their vote is amongst the majority’s vote, they receive a share of the monthly reward pool proportional to their vote, and if they vote wrongly, who knows, maybe they get slashed. That is going to be for Shroomiez holders to decide once they mint out and Snapshot voting goes live.

   90% of the NFTs (and the consequent Governance Voting Power) to the Community - Say What?

   Yeah, just check the chart (and the chain).

Thicc Liquidity (SHROOMIEZ-ETH LP): 5% (33) to start with

We (as the initial supporting team of Shroomiez) suggest that the DAO purchase 5% of the Shroomiez NFT supply from secondary markets after the mint is successfully concluded. This will allow anyone who minted a Shroomiez to exchange it for someone else’s Shroomiez, as well as eliminate weak hands of course. The ETH side of the LP will be provided by the DAO from the Multisig treasury containing ETH raised from the mint.

The DAO will be able to vote on increasing the LP, which should be managed in a way to ensure SHROOMIEZ-ETH LP token rewards are always sufficient to cover DIA rewards.

Team: 5% (30 Shroomiez)

The team will have it’s 30 Shroomiez allocated in a multisig for the first 90 days, just in the unlikely yet unpredictable occurrence that some Shroomiez are naughty and try to game the system, which we are keeping as open and transparent as possible for the sake of effective (gradual) decentralization. 

As mentioned in Thicc liquidity & an ample network, “if after a certain period (<30 days) the Shroomiez/ETH LP hasn’t reached 5% of the Shroomiez supply, the 30 Shroomiez reserved for the team … will be used for LPing, with the corresponding ETH side of the LP being funded by the Shroomiez Treasury. That leaves the chance of the team remaining without pre-allocated Shroomiez, which is cool because at least they can all pick their favorite one from the weak hands.”

Ahh, what do we owe to our beloved Shroom Knights and valiant Queens.

Multi-sig, yeah?

Of course, Multi-sig. Ensuring Shroomiez treasury assets are kept safe and efficiently deployed will be a priority. Public figures and respected members of partner communities will be elected to join the 3-of-5 Gnosis Multisig in the coming weeks.

What else to expect?

Expect to see more announcements with your favorite NFTfi projects and communities in the upcoming weeks, as we slowly crawl towards the yet unannounced Shroomiez Mint date (which will be in August, maybe).

Every sound is a vibration. Every vibration is energy.

When you hear a sound, air vibrations reach your eardrum and are transmuted in electric inputs from your cochlea so that your brain can process what you are hearing.

Everything about sound is cyclic, as in life.

This was our dogma when we were testing the boundaries of connection between organic life and generation of new sounds, and even though we live in a world where almost everything has been tested and made, we found out that approach is what matters.

In the last few years there has been a lot of research on electrical outputs from living organisms, and the ones on Mushrooms caught our attention.

Tech guys began to connect them to a synthesizer (with the help of Arduino modules and other resources) in order to convert mushroom electrical activity into sounds (mostly “cloudy” ambience and “dreamish” opus).

Mushroom electrical activity has been ranked on a scale from 0 to 10, where 0 is a “silent” shroom and 10 is a really intense and “chaotic” one.

Introducing Shroomuzik: Feel and Hear your Shroomiez Melodic Frequency

Shroomuzik is a composition of actual and proper music pieces with samples and sounds derived from sound waves generated by mushrooms, which ranks characteristics and features of these tracks respecting the mushroom electrical activity scale. So, level 0 will result in a short and “simple" sound, and level 10 in a more “complex” and complete track.

Each of our tracks is made with the same kind of process using an Arduino, but taken to another level, in a context where they are proper sounds that adapt to the standard of modern music requirements.

The initial Shroomuzik has been generated using a common Porcini Mushroom. This leaves us with 35 Shroomiez species whose sounds have not been synthesized yet. Under the suggestion of several musicians who were interested in the project, we came up with a fresh idea to engage more music aficionados: providing a completely free and easy-to-use DAW for anyone to create tracks out of the Mushroom sounds, which will be uploaded on a monthly basis and rewarded with SHROOMIEZ-ETH LP tokens.

A DAW is a Digital Audio Workstation that wraps up a series of softwares plug-ins and audio samples. In the last decade DAWs became the standard tool for music production, from amateurs to professionals.

The ShroomDAW

The ShroomDAW (web app) will enable the community to seamlessly access a user-friendly DAW interface which they can use to remix Mushroom sounds and turn them into Shroomuzik tracks.

Every month, the sound of one of 35 mushroom species of Shroomiez will be uploaded to the Shroomuzik dashboard and anyone will be able to take that sound and turn it into a Shroomuzik track. At the end of the month, Shroomiez holders will vote on their favorite tracks, with the track having most votes becoming the official Shroomuzik track for that Species of Shroomiez, replacing the initial base Porcini soundtrack. And of course, the author of the winning track will be rewarded with some juicy SHROOMIEZ-ETH LP tokens.

The ShroomDAW would enable music enthusiasts of all levels to explore the mesmerizing sounds of various Shroomiez species, connecting organic life with generative music in a unique way. A monthly unveiling journey allowing collectors and music aficionados to own exclusive pieces of this organic audio journey, forever capturing the essence of the mystical Shroomiez.

The next Shroomuzik article will delve into the details of the development of the DAW and how the community could actively participate in shaping the future of Shoomuzik.

Of course, all of this will be backed and enhanced with a thicc layer of SHROOMIEZ-ETH LP rewards for participants. More on that in our previous articles Thicc Liquidity and an Ample Network, A Fair Shroomlist to Bridge the Gap.

NFTfi protocols such as Caviar, Sudoswap and Llamalend have paved the way for NFT projects and their communities to create/contribute to NFT lending pools.

As the Beras pointed out in their BeraFi: Bong Bears x NFTfi, “Good collateral needs the following qualities (according to Nasdaq): Good-quality collateral has the four characteristics of:

(i) having an easily ascertainable value that is sufficient to cover the loans that it is securing; 

(ii) retaining its value through the entire period of the loan; 

(iii) being readily for foreclosure or of having its ownership easily transferred; and 

(iv) being liquid.”

This brings us back to the second premise briefly announced in our previous article A Fair Shroomlist to Bridge the Gap: Millions of normies would like to join the Web3 space, but they lack proper knowledge, conviction and/or security.

Could a combination of easily digestible, accurate knowledge, socially and cryptographically secured trust, backed by a layer of Intrinsic Value (liquid-backing) be the solution to their (and our) problems?

Shroomiez believe so.

Gud Traits = Thicc Liquidity Left Pillar

To ensure Thicc liquidity for Shroomiez, traits have been selected in a way that each Shroomiez is unique in its own way, balancing the quantity of rare traits with common ones while maximizing the visually appealing value of each trait. This will enable Shroomiez to have very deep liquidity. An article which dives deep into the Shroomiez art generation and trait selection process is coming out soon. 

This also means Shroomiez holders can more easily and happily swap their Shroomiez with no friction, especially after the mint.

Proper NFTfi Utilization = Thicc Liquidity Right Pillar

To make it work, an NFT project can’t simply hope that NFT traders will provide liquidity to their own collections’ NFTs. Providing liquidity (LPing) on DEXes (Decentralized Exchanges) already requires significant efforts and layers of (token) incentives from DeFi projects, so clearly NFT LPing requires the same amount of effort (and resources).

s previously mentioned, Beras and Miladys have shown us the light on how to do it effectively. From the traits (or lack of) to the bootstrapping of the LPs, the trend is finally clear (and well functional!).

So what is Shroomiez going to do?

Shroomiez is committing to allocating at least 5% of supply (33 Shroomiez NFTs) and their respective ETH value in a Caviar Shroomiez/ETH LP right after launch.

Once the Third Gate closes and the mint is over, Shroomiez will use its multisig treasury containing the mint funds to start purchasing 5% of the Shroomiez supply on secondary markets. *This will not be an opportunity to sell us your newly-minted NFTs at a higher price. We will reserve the right to withhold the purchase until the real weak hands really want to sell.

We also have a safety mechanism in place where if after a certain period (<30 days) the Shroomiez/ETH LP hasn’t reached 5% of the Shroomiez supply, the 30 Shroomiez reserved for the team (which will be in a multisig for an initial period of at least 90 days), will be used for LPing, with the corresponding ETH side of the LP being funded by the Shroomiez Treasury. That leaves the chance of the team remaining without pre-allocated Shroomiez, which is cool because at least they can all pick their favorite one from the weak hands.

Shroomgates and Shroomlist Distribution

The most active users of renowned NFTfi protocols will all be Shroomlisted in the coming weeks. Power users of major DeFi protocols, as well as respectable and trusted NFT collections holders will also be included: the latter will need to fill in a typeform available on the official Discord channel as well as on the Shroomiez.world website, where you may find more information about Shroomlist requirements and gates.

The top 300 addresses by trade Volume (past N days from yet unannounced snapshot) for each of the following protocols will all be automatically Shroomlisted:

Being here, surely you have at least once in your lifetime considered that achieving (Web3) mass-adoption would benefit you as much as it would benefit the adopted projects, if positioned accordingly.

Well, Shroomiez *might* be able to position you accordingly.

How? Well *maybe* by granting holders the power to curate NFT collections, DeFi protocols, Metaverses and Web3 games that millions of newly on-boarded normies see, learn about and eventually pour their liquidity into.

A Fair Shroomlist Event

It all begins with two premises:

1. That there are enough people who are knowledgeable enough about Web3 willing to put skin-in-the-game to contribute to the Shroomiez mission

2. Millions of normies want to join (pour some liquidity into) Web3, but are either not convinced yet or unable/uneducated to do it correctly (hence without losing their money immediately)

Shroomlisting Web3 Power Users

What could make millions of normies gain trust towards our industry? Receiving valuable information. Surely they won’t receive it from notorious grifters nor celebs-turned-cryptogurus nor any of the likes. The answer lies under your skin! We who already know how to distinguish the Good from the Rug, are the Key.

The most active users of renowned NFTfi protocols will all be Shroomlisted automatically. Power users of major DeFi protocols as well as respectable and trusted NFT collection holders will also be included. The protocols with their respective number of top addresses which have been Shroomlisted will all be revealed in the coming weeks, so *maybe* you still have a chance to join the Shroomlist.

Approximately 3600 Shroomlists will be distributed, 300 of which are Discounted Mint Shroomlists and 60 are Free Mint Shroomlists. Since there only 660 Shroomiez NFTs, availability to mint will be on a first-come first-serve basis, except for holders of the Free Mint Shroomlists: those will have an exclusive 6 hour period to claim their Shroomiez before the Mint opens to Shroomlisted addresses.

Shroomlist Gates

1. The First Gate will be reserved for Free Mint Shroomlists and will last 6 hours.

2. The Second Gate will open as soon as the 6 hours from the First Gate are over, and will be exclusive to Shroomlists and Discounted Mint Shroomlists. It will last 24 hours.

3. The Third Gate will open once the Second Gate is over (30 hours after the first gate and 24 hours after the second gate), and only if there are any Shroomiez NFTs left. This Gate allows for anyone to mint the remaining Shroomiez (if any).

*Free Mint and Discounted Mint Shroomlists will still be able to claim their Shroomiez during the Third Gate period. However, they must be claimed before the Third Gate (general mint) is over, as unclaimed Shroomiez will automatically be sent to the treasury.

This Shroomlist method will ensure a fair chance of participation to anyone who truly deserves and wishes to entrust the great powers entrusted to them by holding a Shroomiez.

For those who don’t manage to put their hands on a Shroomlist and in the case there are no Shroomiez left to mint for the third gate, don’t panic: there will be an opportunity for you to claim a Shroomiez. Whether that’ll be through a giveaway, earning fractional Shroomiez by participating in the Shroomieverse or through the 6000 Berachain Shroomiez launch that will follow, keep trying and the Shroomiez will come.

Going Forwards

Shroomiez is devoted to bringing the benefits of Web3 to everyone, and to do this, the support of Web3 OGs is a fundamental necessity. Support which of course needs to be rewarded, while also having the right skin-in-the game so that incentives between all parts are truly aligned.

Shroomiez presents a layer of incentives based on deep liquidity and liquid-backed, fractionalized Shroomiez as rewards. A portion of mint proceeds (33%) will be used to provide liquidity via Caviar, Sudoswap and/or Llamalend LPS followed by treasury-backing via Beramarket once it launches. Keep in mind each Shroomiez *might* receive a Berachain(/Multichain) Shroomiez as a rebase, which will be 63% backed since inception thanks to Beramarket.

The rest is used to cover legal costs for Shroomiez Co., which will contribute to Snapshot votes and proposals with its 30 Shroomiez, as well as the artist fee and BD costs to ensure the 6000 Berachain/Multichain Shroomiez launch is successful.

Each Shroomiez is hand-drawn by our talented artist Gigi, with traits and attributes derived from 36 different species of Mushroom, as well as a special musical trait called Electrical Spiking Activity, after a recent study made on the “Language of Fungi”. Once Beramarket launches (very soon if Beras don’t lie, which they don’t), 6000 generative Shroomiez NFTs will follow, released from the spores of the Berachain network. They will be randomly generated using the hand-drawn traits taken from the 36 different species of mushroom. What else is special about them?

1. They’ll be reserve-backed, leveraging Beramarket’s innovative NTLC (NFT Treasury and Liquidity protocol) allowing NFTs to be redeemed against accumulated treasury assets.

2. Shroomiez will go multi-chain thanks to Layerzero, facilitating access for the normies who don’t want to spend loads on gas fees.

3. Shroomiez travel the multiverse: this means each Shroomiez receives special access to both physical and digital world events, items and experiences.

Shroomieverse: The Collective Wisdom Platform

Fortunately for us, there is a good number of content creators who have been consistently creating high-quality content, delivering valuable knowledge to their audiences.

Whether it is Youtube videos or Twitter threads covering new or already existing blockchains and applications, most creators don’t get barely enough recognition, nor does that content reach a fraction of its potential audience.

Of course, this is based on the assumption that tremendous traffic will be generated on the Shroomiez website. 

How To Generate Such Traffic, You Ask?

There is an ocean of personalities of all kinds with audiences of all sizes which have been thoroughly waiting for the right moment to start learning and sharing about Web3 with their audiences.
