AA Scenario Analysis（2/3）

To defeat EOA wallets, it's not about imitating them, but creating new stories in new areas.
Even though currently EOA accounts have an absolute dominant position, I believe that in the future AA will also occupy a large portion of the Ethereum ecosystem.

In the previous article, we discussed the main technical features of AA and gave an example of PlayOnboard.

Here, we list some of the advantages of AA products:

Users can enter Web3 seamlessly and use multiple account recovery mechanisms
Paymaster defines a method of payment on behalf of someone else, using specific tokens or gasless payments
Bundler batches and aggregates transactions, providing gas reduction advantages in high-frequency scenarios
Bundler payment on behalf of someone else can also initiate transactions on a scheduled basis, triggered in specific scenarios
Account contracts can be customized with recovery and security mechanisms
Account factories can define hooks to generate properties when creating accounts

In this article, we'll brainstorm some more AA ideas that are not just about directly replacing EOA wallets with AA, but about leveraging the advantages of AA in new areas.

1. AA x Games

AA is a natural fit for Gamefi, as these types of applications are frequented by users, and AA can provide an added boost.

Currently, most Web3 games are geared towards 2earn or gambling applications, and there is a lack of high-quality 3A-level applications. User surveys indicate that Crypto users are also high-quality game users. The low entry barrier of AA makes this possibility achievable, with the only obstacle being the developer's adoption of AA. When the infrastructure lowers this barrier, game developers can focus on gameplay and economic circulation, making these games more likely to attract new users.

By attracting users to enter the game at a low cost and experiencing happiness or a sense of experience, with value acquisition as an additional condition, there will be better positive feedback. This will transform games from Play2Earn to Play4Fun, providing users with a sense of spiritual pleasure and the ability to acquire value. With reasonable economic design, it will reduce the behavior of "wool party" brushing. When users have enough value support, they can be guided to activate their accounts and set up account recovery, allowing them to purchase items and exchange Web3 products on their personal wallets.

AA also corresponds to the full-chain game that is currently being promoted. The use of roles, props, equipment, levels, and other features in full-chain games requires a lot of chain interaction features. Using AA's batch transaction interface can bundle transactions at once, reducing the gas fees used in combining multiple transactions in games and even subsidizing gasless transactions.

At this time, Web3 games are more like web page mini-games, and mobile applications such as StepN are wallets. I believe that the trend of future wallet infrastructure will have more diverse client endpoints, and there is still a long way to go. Mobile games will come with wallets, and excellent wallet experiences can also assist games in better development. This applies more to mobile devices, VR, and other wearable devices, allowing Web3 to appear anywhere. This In-dapp wallet does not rely on web wallet plugins or WalletConnect to pop up wallet connections, which can also take up a few seconds. The mobile scenario is more extensive and lacking, and excellent product experiences can easily attract a large number of users.

After solving the client experience, interoperability of the wallet is the next challenge. Like Loot, which can be used in multiple places after purchase, games can retrieve some asset data from previous games, such as character level and purchased items, through a unified recovery interface. As long as the account is connected, it can be migrated to the next game. At the same time, users activated from the game can be imported into existing wallet applications, enabling connection and use of existing wallet functions, achieving true AA wallet interoperability.

2. AA x NFTs/SBTs

NFT has brought more possibilities to Web3. There are numerous standards for NFT, which can be used as role PFP in certain circles, as passes for access, or as proof of ownership. With the paradigm shift brought by smart contract wallets, what else can we do besides creating a new NFT marketplace?

Previously, EOA accounts did not have storage space for data. However, contracts can record anything or implement any function, and contract wallets can also be used as a function for NFTs. I imagine that there will be more possibilities for customization of contract wallets, and modularity and reusability will become more important trends.

AA DID & SocialFi

When generating a contract wallet, external NFT or built-in NFT functionality can be added to the wallet through Account Factory. The contract wallet can also have identity features built-in.

For example, the previously considered AANS could come with a user-readable .aa domain name for newly generated contract wallets. This domain name could be recorded in the generated Account Factory, and users could register, renew, or transfer it through the Account Factory. Domain name resolution and other operations could also be carried out through the Factory contract.

Additionally, by defining a new Profile interface within the Account, personal information such as profile picture, name, and other details can be directly recorded within the Account contract, making the wallet a self-sovereign identity (SSI) hub. Personal data can be accessed simply by reading the contract wallet, and modular social relationship information can also be added. The AA functions as a personal information repository.

AA Fan Economy

Since AA can come with NFT/SBT upon creation, it's possible to record upper-level information during the generation process. You can come with SBT from certain merchants or referral sources, so you can perform some secure operations when using the wallet, or enjoy some benefits when reading the contract wallet. This will make it easier for it to spread in a viral manner.

3. AA x DeFis

To be honest, AA is not very compatible with DeFi for now. First of all, DeFi is a professional product with a high barrier to entry. Second, DeFi focuses on composability, and calling through AA may cause mutual calls that affect the world state and lead to contract errors. However, for some DeFi protocols, reducing the user's usage threshold is indeed a good customer acquisition opportunity.

Special Loan/Stablecoin/Dex

For the traditional DeFi three pillars, new DeFi is a new channel to attract users.

For traditional lending, gasless transactions can be conducted through some external asset proof, making it easier for users to obtain funds. And it is possible to make borrowing or repaying operations within the scheduled time, better avoiding liquidation.

For stablecoins, better exchange and pricing through Onramp, and can serve as the fee support for Paymaster. After fiat deposit, anonymous wallets can be created without tracking.

For decentralized exchanges, the threshold is relatively high. For proxy payments, using project tokens to pay gas or directly allowing users to trade can directly activate and convert funds in the contract. Efficiency can be higher than cex registration process. Anonymous accounts can also be used in the AA contract.

Yield Aggregator/Strategy Platform

An AA contract wallet can serve as a yield aggregator wallet, automatically collecting profits from yield platforms and reinvesting them through scheduled tasks. In bundler, it is also possible to perform strategy trades against price fluctuations of on-chain oracle.

Safe Vault

AA contracts can be used as cold or hot wallet vaults for large funds. AA contract wallets can customize security policies, such as daily limits based on roles, operator permissions, multi-signature, and 2FA policies, which can be customized through a security module to determine their security behavior.

4. AA x RWA

As AA contract addresses can be fixed before use and have composability and interoperability, they can achieve some functionalities that traditional EOA cannot. This includes the tokenization of traditional RWA assets on-chain.

AA Marketing

In the marketing planning of my Web3 gifting culture creative brand 1to3.io, we assumed a scenario where users can make payments through crypto or PayPal. We will generate a contract wallet address for the user, and the wallet can be generated based on the hash of a referral code, allowing the user to have the first contract wallet. Sending wallet can be another approach for creative marketing using NFTs.

Scheduled tasks

In the company or DAO, when outsourcing tasks, we need to schedule tasks based on certain conditions. For example, we can set a specific time period each month, and initiate scheduled payments through third-party payment systems after a certain time period has elapsed. This can be used for salary payments, stream payments, and other external trigger-based scenarios. For instance, in the first PlayOnboard daily airdrop task, we can schedule a batch of tasks to be initiated at midnight every day.

Inheritance of Legacy

When we don't use a wallet for a long time, sometimes assets can be forgotten. To avoid this, one can use a place to record the wallet and sign in advance. After a certain period of time, the assets will be transferred to another wallet address. This is a derivative application of AA wallet's scheduled tasks. AA can be used to store and clean up assets safely, as well as do more signature authentication.

In summary, Customization or modularization of accounts will inevitably become a major trend in the AA ecosystem. Through AA, more products and more forms of contract accounts can be derived, and the creation of accounts will be the most. However, as mentioned in the first article, users are the only threshold for application in all scenarios. In an interconnected ecosystem, obtaining and retaining users is the key to maximizing the advantages of AA applications. Therefore, in the next article, we will discuss how to enter the largest user scenarios and use the advantages of AA to import users.

真正能打败EOA钱包的，不是在模仿EOA钱包，而是能在新领域创造新故事

在上一篇，我们讲了AA的主要技术特性，并且举了PlayOnboard的示范案例。

我们在这里再列举下AA产品的一些优势特征：

用户无感进入Web3，可使用多种恢复账户机制
Paymaster定义了代付方法，使用特定token或gasless代付
Bundler批量和聚合交易，在高频场景中具有降低gas优势
Bundler代付还可以定时发起交易，在特定场景触发交易
Account合约具有可定制化，可定制恢复和安全机制
Account工厂可定义钩子在生成账户时生成属性

这一篇我们就列举一下我们更加AA天马行空的思考，不是原有的EOA直接改成AA，而是开新坑，把AA的优势发挥出来。

1. AA x Games

AA天然跟Gamefi适配，此类应用是用户高频应用，有了AA便是如虎添翼。

目前大部分Web3游戏还是偏向2earn，或者gambling的应用，真正缺少好玩的3A级应用。有用户调研说明Crypto用户同样也是高品质游戏用户。AA的低进入门槛使这种可能性变成可能，唯一的门槛是开发者接入AA的门槛，当基础设施降低这样的门槛，游戏人员可专注做游戏玩法和经济的流转，这类游戏将会更有可能获得大量新用户。

游戏通过吸引用户进来，让用户低成本进入，在游戏中感受快乐，或者体验感，获取价值只是附加条件，会有更好的正反馈。让游戏真正从Play2Earn变成Play4Fun，用户感受精神愉悦，能收获价值，合理的经济设计，会减少羊毛党的刷量行为。当用户有足够价值支撑，可以引导激活账户，设置恢复账号，这样可以在个人钱包上购买物品和Web3产品交换

AA也和正在推动的全链上游戏相呼应，使用全链上游戏的角色，道具，装备，等级都需要大量的链上交互特性，使用AA的批量交易接口能够一次性打包交易，这样能在组合多笔交易中降低游戏使用的gas费，也使能更低成本的记录用户数据，甚至补贴gasless交易。

此时的Web3游戏更偏网页小游戏，而移动端应用类似StepN就是一个钱包。我更理解未来钱包基础设施趋势，会更加多样的客户端，还有很长的路可以走。移动游戏会自带钱包，而优秀的钱包体验也能辅助游戏更好爆发，这方式更多于移动端，或者VR等可穿戴设备，让Web3出现在任何地方。这种In-dapp钱包不用依赖网页钱包插件，或者WalletConnect弹出钱包连接应用，也会占用几秒时间。移动端使用场景更广泛且缺乏，优秀的产品体验能很容易吸引大量用户。

解决了客户端的体验，然后就是钱包的可互操作性。就好像Loot，购买一次，就可以在多个地方使用。游戏通过统一恢复接口，能获取之前游戏的一些资产数据，比如角色等级，购买物品，只要连接账户就能迁移到下个游戏使用。同时从游戏激活的用户能导入到已有的钱包应用，可以连接使用已有的钱包功能，做到真正AA钱包的互通。

2. AA x NFTs/SBTs

NFT带来了Web3的更多可能性，NFT有众多标准，拥有NFT是可以是角色PFP的圈子，可以是通行的Pass卡，也可以是权益的证明。现在智能合约钱包，除了NFT的能做新的合约钱包NFT平台之外，我们还能做什么？

曾经的账户EOA，没有数据存储的空间，而合约里可以记录任何东西或实现的功能，合约钱包也可作为一个NFT功能使用，所以我会想象合约钱包拥有更多组合的可能性。所以我觉得合约钱包定制化是趋势，模块化和复用会更显得重要。

AA DID & SocialFi

在生成合约钱包时，可以通过Factory给钱包赋予外部NFT或者合约钱包内置NFT功能，合约钱包可自带身份特征。

比如曾经思考过的AANS，对于新生成的合约钱包，可以自带一个用户可读.aa域名，该域名可以记录在生成的Account工厂里，用户也可通过Account工厂注册，续费或者转移，也可通过Factory合约，进行域名解析等操作。

另外，可以通过定义Account内部的新的Profile接口，可以把一些个人信息，比如头像，姓名，个人信息直接记录在Account合约内，相当于钱包自带SBT。只要读取合约钱包，就能读取个人资料，或者再通过模块化加入社交关系等信息，AA相当于你的一个个人信息保管库。

AA 粉丝经济

既然AA生成时候可自带NFT/SBT，那在生成时，其实可以记录上层信息。你可以自带某些商家或者推荐人的SBT，这样在使用钱包就能够进行一些安全操作，或者可以读取合约钱包时享受某些福利，这样会更容易病毒式传播出现。

AA x DeFis

说实在，其实AA跟Defi暂时不是很兼容。首先Defi是专业产品门槛很高，第二，Defi注重的是可组合性，通过AA调用很可能会互call影响世界状态导致合约出错。但是对一些Defi，的确降低用户使用门槛是一个很不错的获客机会。

特殊的Loan/Stablecoin/Dex

对于传统的Defi三剑客，新Defi收获用户是新渠道。

对于传统借贷，通过一些外部资产证明，可进行gasless交易，可以使用户更容易获得资金。并且可在预定时间内做借贷或者还贷操作，更好避免清算。

对于稳定币，通过Onramp更好的兑换和计价，并且可以作为Paymaster的手续费支撑。法币入金后，可无追踪创建匿名钱包。

对于去中心交易所门槛也是相对较高，对于代付交易，使用项目代币支付gas或者直接让用户交易，可以直接使用合约里资金激活并转换，相比与cex注册流程效率可以更高。也可AA合约内部混用匿名账户。

收益聚合器/策略平台

AA合约钱包可以作为一个收益聚合器钱包，通过定时任务自动去收益平台收取利润，并进行复投。在bundler还可以对链上预言机相对于价格进行策略交易。

安全金库

AA合约可作为大资金的冷钱包金库或热钱包，AA合约钱包可自定义安全策略，比如根据角色每天限额，操作员权限，经过多签，2FA策略才能转账等策略，可以通过安全模块自定义其安全行为。

AA x RWA

由于AA合约的地址可固定，可组合性和可互操作性，可以做到一些传统EOA无法做到的内容。这就包括了传统RWA资产的链上化。

AA Marketing

在我 1to3.io Web3礼物文化创意品牌的营销策划中，我们假设了一个场景，我们可通过crypto或者paypal支付。我们会为用户生成一个合约钱包地址，钱包可根据推荐码hash生成钱包，该用户就能拥有第一个合约钱包，这可以成为NFT做创意营销的另一种思路。

定时任务

我们在公司或者DAO，外包任务时候，需要根据某些条件进行定时任务，比如设定每个月某个时间段，在经过某个时间段通过代付定时发起，这可适用于发工资，流支付，外部触发完成的场景。比如在第一篇PlayOnboard每日进行空投的任务，可以定时于零点批量发起任务。

遗产继承

在我们很长时间不用钱包的时候，有时候资产会被遗忘，使用一个地方记录钱包，并提前签名。在过了一定时间后，资产会聚集到另一个钱包地址。这都是AA钱包定时任务的衍生应用。通过AA可以很好的保管资产和安全的清理资产，也可以做更多签名认证。

总结一下，在AA生态，Account定制化必然会成为一个大趋势，通过AA可以衍生更多产品，更多合约账户形式，生成账户也是最多。但是正如第一篇文章所说, 所有的场景，只有用户才是应用唯一门槛。在互通的生态上，能获取用户，留住用户才能发挥AA应用的最大优势，所以我们会在下篇讲如何切入最大的用户场景，用AA的优势做用户导入。

AA Introduction：

Account Abstraction (AA) is a new paradigm for contract wallets based on ERC-4337, implemented at the application layer. AA enables on-chain interactions to mimic the operations of current external accounts (such as Metamask's accounts) without modifying the ETH nodes, using on-chain contract accounts.

AA uses a bundler to activate and operate the contract wallet, and employs various recovery mechanisms (such as social recovery, biometric recovery, MPC recovery, etc.) to enable contract transactions without recording private keys or pre-purchasing Ethereum. This eliminates the need for complex key management and Ethereum integration, making it easier for users to access Web3 and enabling mass adoption of Web3 applications. Moreover, the security features of the contract can eliminate the risk of private key theft for the wallet.

AA is a combination of multiple modules:

It records the sender's wallet address, nonce value, the content of the calldata transaction, and will add an initcode to generate a contract wallet if it is not initialized. Paymaster is optional but can be used to determine which paymaster mechanism will pay for gas. There are several fields that calculate gas fees, and the most important signature field, which can sign the entire data hash. The wallet will determine if this signature belongs to the owner or if there are other ways to expand the signature.

EntryPoint (EP) is the transaction entry point for all UserOps. It is universal and can be used for only one EP contract in a network. It forwards transactions based on the sender of the OP. The handleOps can initiate batch transactions or aggregated Ops, and a single transaction packaged to the EP will be more than EOA. However, batch transactions can reduce gas fees. It also provides some simulateValidation methods for Bundlers to simulate transactions.

Bundler is a backend server that is like ETH's geth or more like Mev's Proposer and is the core module of AA payment. It helps collect UserOp transactions, pack them into transactions at a certain time, and can batch them for packaging to EP. It also simulates, audits, restricts or sorts transactions. A general Bundler may restrict some OPCODES to prevent batch failure and perform some load balancing and auditing of transaction validity operations. Bundler is currently the focus of ERC4337 research, such as how to decentralize, userop mempool parallel to ETH mempool, how to sort transactions and prevent Mev, etc. Currently, the official support for multiple Bundler implementations, such as the official and Pimlico's js-Bundler, Stackup's go-Bundler, etc.

Paymaster is an optional module, which, in my opinion, is the most commercially valuable module. Through Paymaster, you can use any payment method other than ETH, such as common tokens (WETH, USDT), or support custom tokens, pay gas fees through oracles or custom prices, and even project parties can add commissions or DEX directly exchange for USD. The official also provides a VerifyingPaymaster without Gas, which adds a verified account signature to the userop's paymaster field (why add a signature, gasless without cost will increase welfare harvesting), which is returned by the Biconomy or many project gasless transaction APIs signature for you to pay on behalf of. This can be used for fiat payments, other members paying on your behalf, and more possible combinations.

Account wallet contract, in my opinion, is the most customizable module. The wallet contract has its own owner (an external EOA that can be rotated at any time without ETH and can be removed in the future for use with zk). After authentication by the owner's signature, it is a direct call-through transaction. Owner rotation is done through a recovery mechanism, and social recovery, biological recovery, and common third-party MPC recovery (currently a UX compromise solution) can be defined by contract to improve the experience. Through the customization of the Account contract, we can customize multi-signature, different signature mechanisms, different recovery mechanisms, and some special security functions.

The client-side SDK is a front-end access module that mainly assembles and initiates UserOps in an SDK layer. Currently, there are still not many developer tools, and wallets still find it difficult to access most DApps. However, most of the efforts are focused on improving the access layer and bundler/paymaster services in infrastructure development. In addition to the official SDK, early efforts include Unipass, which has a set of multi-functional access mechanisms that support email login, and ZeroDev, which encapsulates the official Infinitism SDK's upper layer and deploys bundler and other services. Accountjs's vision is also to encapsulate and integrate existing mechanisms in an open-source public layer, unify access formats, and establish Account standards.

Currently, ERC-4337 is still in the draft stage, and many modules are still not stable, requiring community collaboration. ERC-4337 still adheres to the principles of individual sovereignty and decentralization, and does not have the drawbacks of MPC single-point failure. Although it requires bundler payment, all bundlers, paymasters, and accounts can achieve decentralization, and the owner's initiative remains in their hands, allowing them to choose their preferred service providers. Moreover, the existing modules already support transactions without private keys and gas, batch and aggregate transactions, but still lack interoperability standards and universality.

AA Product Attributes:

For teams that have been researching ERC4337 for a long time, the scenario was the topic I first conceived. We have talked a lot about the features of ERC4337, but we should focus on what AA can do in terms of product development. Currently, many wallets built on ERC-4337 have taken the lead and attracted users who are willing to try new things. However, they have not been able to establish their own advantages and moats, and without a thriving ecosystem and incentive measures, it is difficult to enlarge the amount of funds entering contract wallets under unstable psychological expectations.

Technology is only a means, contract payments, batch transactions, and recovery mechanisms can easily enable users to use them well, but what really forms a product moat is to meet real needs, enable users to use them spontaneously, and make users stay for a long time, with only user-oriented thresholds.

Why do I see great potential in AA? Because AA has great potential as a product, there is no particularly obscure technology, and it is also the strength of product managers.

AA has become a part of the ETH roadmap, and although it is still being upgraded and verified for security, it can occupy at least a fraction of the current ETH ecosystem. Of course, this does not consider the possibility that the zk technology route may change completely in the future, or that the Solidity language may become outdated, or that new paradigms may emerge.

Why use AA? Because it can change the current situation dominated by EOA, and it is definitely not a product that EOA is good at. The combination of Defi is already unbreakable, but the learning and use cost is still high. AA should take a different approach and create products that are more suitable for the general public.

AA's advantage lies in onboarding. Under the complex and obscure operation threshold of existing wallets, you first need to remember your private key/mnemonic (which may also be at risk of theft if not saved properly), enter your password, then deposit ETH, and only then can you operate the contract. Web3 is already used to this, but it is difficult for novice users, and even internet users face the saving your mnemonic warnings, they tremblingly write down their private keys, and double check the phrases.

AA can be just like a guest login in a game. Users can come in and play the game without any barriers, and after experiencing it, they can either pay to continue or leave. Apart from time, there are no other barriers.

You can eliminate barriers and allow users to enter and play by directly paying the gas fee, which can be an easy way to attract new users.

Similar to Web2 email, you can enable OAuth login and map it to a contract wallet, maintaining a consistent Web2 experience.

After using the wallet for some time and accumulating some value, you can guide users to activate their wallet, upload recovery information, and then initiate Web3 transactions.

The advantage of using AA wallets is that they can attract new users more efficiently, not just traditional Web3 users. Traditional Web3 users are more motivated by profit, which is why you see the same group of users participating in airdrops and yield farming across various public chains, ultimately leading to internal competition. Applications that use AA wallets can allow users to enter more gently (rather than cliff-like), and with more friendly applications and experiences, you can increase the number of Web3 users several times over. The Defi Summer attracted new users, activated old users, and the NFT celebrity effect brought in new users to Web3. AA's user experience could also be the engine that drives the next bull market.

EOA private keys have too much power, and the threshold and security issues of private keys are not uncommon. For user experience, some projects choose to use custodial and MPC wallets, which have good experiences but are centralized and therefore have structural risks. However, AA can use modular, decentralized methods, and a unified transaction format that can be accessed by decentralized nodes, balancing personal sovereignty wallets and avoiding single points of failure. This is the new form of the wallet of the future.

Before wallets become mainstream, the first wallet that new users enter is like seeing a newly born duckling, and it will have more stickiness to the product. Now, projects are pursuing new users solely through high profits, but they also need to retain users through necessity, fun, and other attributes. Sustainability is the driving force behind industry development. Therefore, users are the moat of the product, and facing users, only killer applications have an advantage. AA has a lower threshold and a greater advantage. As users enter, they can explore more of the new Web3 world, and strengthen the flow of Crypto and the real world.

Does AA have commercial properties? First of all, AA has good support for new tokens (which I can explain in detail below), and the complex mechanism has detailed records of allocation rules. Through bundlers and paymasters' customizable payment rules, it also has good commercialization scenarios.

There are still many things to say about applications and scenarios, and what EOAs can do now, AA can re-implement or do better, and what EOAs cannot do now, AA can do well. I will list them one by one in the next article. Writing about AA products is about opening up ideas and welcoming project discussions or joining the team to develop and jointly research technology implementations, building new scenarios and creating new trends in this new world.

Now let me give an example of a scenario that was initially conceived.

PlayOnboard

At first, Free2Play was a new concept, but I always felt that the term "free" was not appropriate. Nothing is truly free, as people's time and attention are valuable and limited. Therefore, I proposed the PlayOnboard mechanism to incorporate gamification into AA products.

As I mentioned earlier, the Token mechanism is naturally friendly to AA. Tokens are a mechanism for storing project value and represent the practical value of a project. Here, I will give an example of using Tokens directly in the AA scenario.

In Web2, user traffic is virtual value, and the valuation of various Internet companies is based on the number of daily active users (DAUs). The value of a product can be estimated based on the number of daily active users and product attributes. Some even earn money by boosting their daily active users. By lowering the user entry barrier, AA allows users to use traffic economy without any cost, which eliminates the need for recording private keys and provides core scenarios to activate users.

This can be well combined with gamified products.

Imagine the StepN scenario of Run2earn. Previously, users needed to create a wallet and collect native tokens before they could start running and earning. With AA, users can start running immediately without any cost and earn rewards. Some may come in just for fun, while others may activate a new AA wallet to use it, and the activation fee will not be associated with their previous wallet. Users can pay with any token, even project tokens, and batch transactions can save you gas fees even with high user activities.

Since the user's wallet can be determined in advance, the user can receive assets and tokens without having to activate the wallet. If the wallet needs to be activated in advance or assets and acceleration need to be purchased, You can also purchase tokens on Uniswap and activate account in advance.

Thus, when the project goes live, its tokens can be used immediately. Users can activate their accounts by spending cryptocurrency or come in without any cost. Once they have accumulated assets (e.g. by running for more than 15 days), they can be guided to activate their wallets and upload their information for recovery methods. New users will have their first Web3 wallet, which can be used to operate more Web3 applications, while the project will gain its first group of users, they can be anyone either he is Web2 or Web3.

Using AA's contract wallet can lower the barrier to entry into Web3 and offer more room for imagination, such as on-chain identity, asset interoperability, and more scenarios for using Tokens. These will be listed in more detail in the next article.

PlayOnboard is a scenario in which traffic is converted into value. There are still more modules within the AA mechanism that can be hacked to generate new forms of products. The second article will list more scenarios, and if you are interested in collaborating, please contact the author.

AA介绍：

Account Abstraction(AA) 抽象帐户是基于ERC-4337的合约钱包新范式，它以一种应用层的方式。AA实现了无需修改ETH节点，通过链上合约账户，能模仿目前外部账户（EOA如Metamask的账户）的操作来进行链上交互。

AA 使用Bundler代付的方式来激活和操作合约钱包，使用多种恢复机制（比如社交恢复，生物信息恢复，MPC恢复等），可以实现无需记录私钥，无需预先购买以太坊进行合约交易。这样省去复杂的记录私钥信息，转入以太坊的复杂操作，让用户更无感进入Web3，使大规模使用Web3应用变成可能，也通过合约的安全特性可使钱包免去私钥被盗的风险。

AA技术特性：

AA是多个模块的互相组合：

UserOp（OP）是ERC-4337统一的交易格式，它记录了sender钱包地址，nonce值，calldata交易的内容，在未初始化还会添加initcode帮助生成合约钱包，paymaster是可选但可确定使用哪个paymaster机制代付gas，有好几个计算gas费的字段，还有最重要signature字段，可以对整段数据hash进行签名，钱包会判断这段签名是否属于Owner，或者更多签名方式扩展

EntryPoint（EP）是所有UserOp的交易入口，它通用可以一个网络只使用一个EP合约，会根据OP的sender对交易进行转发。通过handleOps可以发起批量交易，或者通过聚合Ops发起，单个交易打包到EP会比EOA更多，但批量交易能较好减少gas费。也提供simulateValidation的一些方法给Bundler模拟交易。

Bundler是一个后端服务器，它就像ETH的geth或者更像Mev的Proposer，也是AA代付的核心模块。它帮你收集UserOp交易，一定时间打包交易，可以进行批量打包发到EP。它同时会对交易进行模拟，审查，限流或者排序。通用的Bundler可能会对一些OPCODE进行限制防止批量失败，也会进行一些负载均衡，审查交易合法性等操作。Bundler是目前ERC4337研究的重点，比如如何去中心化，与ETH mempool平行的userop mempool，如何交易排序和防止Mev等。目前官方支持多种Bundler实现，比如官方和Pimlico的js-Bundler，Stackup的go-Bundler等。

Paymaster是可选模块，个人来看也是最有商业价值的模块。通过Paymaster，你可以使用ETH之外的任何支付手段，比如支持常见Token（WETH，USDT），或者支持自定义Token，通过预言机或者自定义价格代付Gas费，甚至项目方可以加入佣金或者dex直接交换成USD。官方还提供了免Gas的VerifyingPaymaster，在userop的paymaster字段里加入验证的账户签名（为什么加入签名，直接gasless无成本会加剧薅羊毛），这是Biconomy或者很多项目无gas交易的API返回签名给你代付，通过这个能使用法币支付，其他成员给你代付等更多可能组合性。

Account钱包合约，个人觉得是最有可定制性的模块，钱包合约拥有自己owner（一个外部EOA，可随时轮换也不用放ETH，以后也可去掉EOA使用zk）通过owner签名的认证之后，就是直接call透传交易。Owner的轮换是通过恢复机制来去做，可合约定义社交恢复，生物恢复，还有常见第三方MPC恢复（目前UX折中方案）恢复做到全链上可以继续改进体验。通过Account合约的定制，我们可以定制多签，不同签名机制，不同恢复机制，还有一些特殊安全功能等。

客户端SDK，一个前端接入模块，主要组装发起UserOp的一个SDK层。目前对于开发者工具类仍然不多，钱包仍难接入大部分的Dapp。但大部分都是在做基础设施在完善接入层和bundler/paymaster服务。除了官方的SDK简单之外，做的比较早的有Unipass有一套多功能的接入机制，支持邮箱登录，ZeroDev对官方的SDK上层进行的封装，也有部署bundler等服务。Accountjs的愿景也是用开源公共层的方式，对这现有机制进行封装和整合，统一接入格式和Account标准。

如今ERC-4337仍在Draft阶段，很多模块仍不够稳定，需要社区共创之。ERC-4337仍遵循个人主权和去中心化理念，没有了MPC单点故障的缺陷，虽然要经过bundler代付，但所有Bundler，Paymaster，Account可以做到去中心化，Owner主动权在自己手里，你可以自己选择自己想要的服务商。而且现有模块已经支持无私钥，无gas的交易，批量和聚合交易，只是仍缺少互通标准和广泛性。

AA产品属性：

对于很早研究ERC4337的团队来说，场景是我最开始就构思的话题。ERC4337特性我们讲了很多，我们还是回归聚焦于AA能做的产品方面。目前基于ERC-4337构建的钱包很多，占据了先发，用户尝新，但都形成不了自己优势和护城河，没有生态繁荣和激励手段，心理预期不稳定之下，很难放大资金进入合约钱包。

技术只是手段，合约代付，批量交易，恢复机制能很容易让用户很好地使用，然后呢。但真正能形成产品护城河是切中真实需求，用户能自发使用，并且能让用户长期驻留，一切的门槛只有用户。

我为什么看好AA，因为AA具有很好的产品潜力，没有特别晦涩的技术，也是产品经理最擅长的。

AA已经成为ETH路线图一部分，虽然还在升级，在安全验证的前提下，至少可以占据目前ETH生态的几分之一。当然不考虑以后zk技术路线全变了，可能solidity已经落后情况出现，可能更有新范式出现。

为什么使用AA？能改变现有EOA主导的现状，绝对不是EOA擅长的产品，Defi的组合性已经牢不可破，但学习使用成本仍然很高。AA而应该另辟蹊径，去做适合更大众的产品。

AA的优势在于Onboarding，在现有钱包操作复杂晦涩的入门门槛下，你先记下私钥/助记词（不善保存还可能被盗风险），填入密码，然后打入ETH，然后才可以合约操作。Web3已经习惯了，但外行用户却难，就算新入门互联网用户也面对提示，战战兢兢保管私钥，查看两遍。

AA可以做到就像游戏游客登录，先进来玩体验，体验完付费或者走人，除了时间外没有任何门槛。

你可以不设门槛，让用户进来玩，直接代付gas费，可以很简单获客。

你可以像Web2邮箱，Oauth登录，映射到合约钱包，可以和Web2体验保持一致。

在使用一定时间，有了一定价值，你可以引导用户激活钱包，上传恢复信息，然后发起Web3交易。

AA钱包的优势是在吸引新的用户，效率更快，不仅仅是传统的Web3用户。传统Web3用户更多是利益驱逐型，所以你会在各个公链，空投，收益看到同一批用户，最终就导致内卷互割。使用AA钱包的应用，让用户在更温和（而不是悬崖式）的门槛进入，利用更友好的应用和体验，可以使Web3用户更加扩大几倍。DefiSummer燃起了新用户，激活了老用户，NFT名人效应带来了新人，AA的体验可能也是下一轮牛市的发动机。

EOA的私钥具有太大权利，私钥有门槛和安全问题屡见不鲜。为了用户体验，有的项目选择使用托管和MPC钱包，虽然具有很好体验，但都是具有中心化结构，会有些结构性风险。但是AA可以使用模块化去中心方式，统一交易格式可去中心的节点接入，可兼顾个人主权钱包和避免单点故障，所以是未来钱包的新形式。

在钱包走向大众之前，新用户进来的第一个钱包，就好像看到新生的雏鸭，会对产品更有粘性。现在项目一味通过高利润追寻新用户，也需要通过刚需，好玩等属性留住用户，持续性是行业的发展动力。所以用户才是产品的护城河，而面对用户的只有是杀手应用，AA具有更低门槛更有优势。而用户进来，又能更加探索更多Web3新世界，加强Crypto和现实世界的流动性。

AA钱包具备商业属性吗？首先AA对新Token支持很好（下面我可以详细说说），同时复杂机制里有详细记录分配规则，通过bundler和paymaster自定义的代付规则，也具有很好商业化场景。

对于应用和场景，仍然有很多可说的，现在EOA能做的，AA可以重新实现或者更好，在现有EOA不能做的，在AA也能很好实现，在下一篇再一一列举出来。写AA产品文章在于抛转引玉，打开思路，欢迎项目方交流，或者加入团队开发，共同研究技术实现，在新大陆建设新场景和创造新趋势。

现在先睹为快，我先举一个最初设想的场景。

PlayOnboard

最开始是Free2Play的新概念，但我总是觉得free表述不当，没有任何东西是free的，人的时间也是价值，注意力是有限的。所以我提出PlayOnboard的机制，让游戏化进入AA产品。

刚才说过AA对Token机制天然是友好的，Token是项目储备价值的机制，是实用性在价值的体现。我这里就举一个Token直接使用在AA的场景。

Web2中，用户流量就是虚拟价值，各种互联网公司估值是评判标准用户DAU，产品可通过日活量估算广告价值，用户价值和产品属性，有些甚至为了提高日活甚至有刷量赚钱，类似抖音快速版。AA把用户入门门槛变低，用户无成本进入可使用流量这种新的玩法，就是免去记录私钥步奏，先提供核心场景，促活用户。

这可以很好跟游戏化产品结合。

设想是Run2earn的Stepn场景，之前还需要先创建钱包并收取原生代币，但使用AA之后，用户进来直接就可以开始跑了，跑步生息。有人会无成本为了好玩进来，有人只为了使用并激活AA新钱包，代付帮你激活钱包并不会跟之前钱包产生关联。你可以使用任何代币甚至项目方代币支付，就算用户量活跃度很高，批量交易也能为你节省gas费用

由于用户的钱包可以提前确定，用户无需激活钱包也能收到资产和代币。如果需要提前激活钱包或者购买资产和加速，可以提前在Uniswap购买资产并激活钱包。

这样，项目上线时代币直接可以就有使用场景了。用户进来，可以氪金立刻激活账户，也可以无成本进来，当钱包有资产（比如跑步15天以上）可以引导激活钱包并上传资料进行恢复，可用时间流量换取价值。新用户会拥有第一个Web3钱包，也能通过钱包去操作更多Web3应用，而项目则收获第一批用户，用户可以是Web2互联网用户或Web3 Crypto Native的任何人。

使用AA的合约钱包，能让用户进入Web3门槛降低，可以有更多想象空间，比如链上身份，资产互通，Token也有更多场景进行使用，这个会在下篇文章具体再列举使用场景。
